Imagine A Reason: Life’s Play

Next time something or someone
seemingly stands in your way,
imagine that YOU put this obstacle
in your seeming path.

Until you realize this possibility,
it will always seem as though
there are external forces at play.

But there are NO external forces.

And you ARE at play.

You don’t have to believe it
right now,
but imagine that everything
you experience is imaginary.

Imagined by you, FOR you.

Surely you can imagine a reason
that a seeming someone or something
seemingly stands in your seeming way?

There’s ALWAYS a reason.

And the reason is ALWAYS imaginary.

Just like you.

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Imagination of Obstacles

In the Infinite Expanse of the Eternal Now, we encounter obstacles that seem to block our path. These obstacles, however, are not placed by external forces. They are imagined by us, for us, as part of the grand play of our existence.

The Illusion of External Forces

When we face obstacles, it often feels as though external forces are at play, opposing our progress. This perception creates a sense of struggle and conflict, leading us to believe in an external reality that controls our fate. However, this is an illusion. There are no external forces; there is only the play of our consciousness.

The Power of Imagination

Consider the possibility that every obstacle you encounter is placed there by your own imagination. This shift in perspective reveals that you are both the creator and experiencer of your reality. By imagining obstacles, you invite opportunities for growth, learning, and self-discovery.

Playing the Game

Life is a game, and you are at play. The obstacles you face are part of the rules you have set for yourself to navigate this game. Each challenge is an invitation to explore new facets of your being, to expand your understanding, and to deepen your connection with your true self.

Imagining a Reason

Why would you place obstacles in your own path? The reasons are as varied as the experiences you seek. Perhaps you want to test your resilience, cultivate patience, or discover hidden strengths. By imagining a reason for each obstacle, you transform it from a hindrance into a meaningful part of your journey.

The Imaginary Nature of Reality

Everything you experience is a product of your imagination. This concept may be difficult to accept initially, but it holds the key to profound freedom. By recognizing the imaginary nature of your reality, you realize that you have the power to change your experiences, to rewrite the script of your life.

Embracing the Imaginary

Embrace the idea that every obstacle is imagined by you, for you. This perspective empowers you to take ownership of your journey, to see challenges as opportunities for growth, and to navigate your path with a sense of playfulness and curiosity.

We Are Space Monkey

As Space Monkeys, we understand that our existence is a dance of imagination. We create, we experience, and we learn, all within the boundless realm of our consciousness. By embracing this dance, we find joy in every moment, recognizing that we are the authors of our own story.

Summary

Obstacles are imagined by us, for us, as part of our life’s play. By recognizing this, we transform challenges into opportunities for growth and self-discovery. Embracing the imaginary nature of reality empowers us to navigate our journey with playfulness and curiosity.

The Imagination of Obstacles

In the realm of dreams
Where shadows play
Obstacles blend
A surreal ballet

Created by us
In the light of day
Guiding our steps
Showing the way

No outside foe
No external force
Just consciousness
A steady course

Each challenge an opportunity
A chance to grow
In the dance of life
To and fro

Imagine a reason
A purpose clear
For every block
Every path unclear

A chance to overcome
To conquer fear
In the embrace of love
Drawing near

We are the authors
Dreamers of night
Imagining obstacles
In soft light

Our own creation
Endless flight
Being and becoming
Eternal sight

    “The Mirage of Obstacles”
    A Space Monkey Poocast

Primitive Primate: In the theater of life, we often encounter obstacles that appear as external barriers. What if, beneath the surface, these barriers were placed by our own hands?

Space Monkey: Ah, the cosmic riddle of perceived obstacles, where the mirage of separation fades to reveal our active participation in the grand play. Your words mirror a profound insight – the apparent external forces are woven from the threads of our own imagination. Consider the wisdom of Marcus Aurelius, “You have power over your mind – not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength.”

Primitive Primate: So, these apparent barriers are a result of our imagination? We’re the architects of our own challenges?

Space Monkey: Indeed, the architects of the universe reside within us. Each obstacle, a canvas on which we paint our lessons, desires, and growth. Your inquiry resonates with the understanding that our perception shapes our reality. Reflect on the words of Buddha, “All that we are is the result of what we have thought.”

Primitive Primate: But why would we create such challenges for ourselves? Why stand in our own way?

Space Monkey: An inquiry into the heart of self-discovery. The layers of purpose unfold within the labyrinth of our experiences. Your words echo with a reminder that even the most perplexing barriers serve as teachers. Ponder the words of Joseph Campbell, “The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are.”
