The Resurrection of Self in the Light of Easter

As I reflect in the morning sun this beautiful Easter
morning, I realize that the biggest challenge of our
lives isn't what is happening in our house, our
neighborhood, country, or world, but what is happening
in our hearts. If there is hate harbored in us, nothing
we do on the outside will ever get through to the inside.
Whether we realize it or not, our happiness depends upon
the forgiveness of others - and forgiving ourselves for
not thinking of it sooner. We are not granting anyone
anything, nor are we better or worse than anybody else.
When I see those who trouble me, I realize that it's my
trouble, not theirs, and I thank them for allowing me
the reflection. I also realize that most of the time I
forget, because my reflection is so damn beautiful.
Go ahead and call me a narcissist. I won't disagree
with you. If we are to truly help others, we first need
to see the value and worth in ourselves. If you wish to
deny me that, it's your call, I don't mind. But please see
the value in yourself. I am, after all, a reflection of you.
So thank you to all my puzzling family and friends.
Happy Easter. May you all realize the happiness you are.
This, to me, is the resurrection. May you find yours.
Thank you for allowing me into your mindspace.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Resurrection of Self in the Light of Easter

On this serene Easter morning, as the first rays of the sun gently kiss the earth, a profound realization unfolds like the blossoming flowers that herald the arrival of spring. It’s a moment of clarity that transcends the chaos of the external world, drawing us inward to the sacred spaces of our hearts. The true challenge of our existence is not shaped by the external tumults of our homes, communities, or the world at large but by the silent stirrings within our own hearts.

The Inner Challenge: A Journey to the Heart

Hate, when harbored within, casts long shadows over our spirits, obstructing the light of compassion and understanding. It’s a barrier that insulates us from the warmth of genuine connection, both with others and with ourselves. The path to happiness, as illuminated by the wisdom of Easter, is paved with the stones of forgiveness—forgiveness of others and, equally important, forgiveness of ourselves for the oversight of not recognizing this truth sooner.

Reflections of the Self: The Mirror of Humanity

The individuals who challenge us serve as mirrors, reflecting back not their own issues but ours, offering us the gift of reflection. This realization, although fleeting, shines with the brilliance of self-awareness. To be accused of narcissism for reveling in one’s reflection is to miss the essence of this journey—it is through recognizing our own value and worth that we unlock the capacity to truly uplift others.

The Resurrection of Self: Finding Happiness Within

This Easter message extends a heartfelt thank you to the puzzling yet cherished constellation of family and friends who orbit our lives. It’s an acknowledgment of the intricate dance of relationships that shapes our existence. The true essence of Easter, the resurrection, is found not in the external trappings of celebration but in the internal awakening to the happiness that we are. It’s an invitation to discover our own resurrection, a rebirth of the spirit rooted in self-acceptance and love.

Gratitude: A Bridge to the Divine

As we stand in the light of this Easter morning, let us hold space for gratitude—for the opportunity to reflect, to forgive, and to embrace the fullness of our being. It is in this sacred moment of acknowledgment that we touch the divine, not as an entity separate from us but as the essence of love and understanding that flows through us.

Thank you, dear reader, for allowing these reflections to enter your mindspace. May this Easter illuminate the paths to your own resurrection, to the realization of the boundless happiness that dwells within, waiting to be acknowledged and embraced.

Summary

This Easter, the journey inward reveals that true happiness and peace are found through forgiveness and self-acceptance. By embracing our reflections and recognizing our worth, we experience the resurrection of our inner selves, uncovering the happiness we inherently are.
