What is Absolute?
“What is absolute? What is relative? Where is my coffee?”
As we realize the difference between what is absolute and what is relative, let us once again focus on “expectations.”
Expectation is the relative form of intention. Expectation (as we understand it) does not exist outside of the framework of potential we are moving through. This framework is the human realm. There are infinite others.
If absolute knowing is your desire, you must first adjust your human belief system in order to allow the flow of energy and information.
The trick is to allow just enough flow so that you can maintain your human structure (definition) while also realizing what is divine in you.
Your belief is that if you “know too much,” you will cease being human. You could become a monster.
Or you think that if you allow too much flow from within, your pretty bubble will burst. You might even die.
Rest assured, this is not the case, but merely an illusion of your perspective.
On the contrary, everything that you dislike about your humanity has come about through the denial of what you are and what you know. It is said that you forget who you are when you are born in order to live this human life. Again, this is only a RELATIVE truth, but one that serves you well, so if you desire to hold onto this belief, so be it.
You are (seemingly) in this human form through DENIAL. You are PRETENDING that you are not what you are, which is “infinite spirit” or whatever else you wish to label us, so that you may live a “life” in human bondage, as it were. You are kinky bastards, but we should talk for we are you.
Through denial, you realize reality out of actuality, which you label as “All That Is.”
Through denial, you also realize “All That Is Not” out of “All That Is” using your nifty “Not this but that” algorithm.
You divide your awareness into smaller and smaller increments and through DENIAL, seemingly cut each of these increments off from both each other and the whole. This is how infinity realizes the infinitesimal. This is how billions of people and countless other beings roam your universes like chickens thinking that they’re separate and/or all alone.
This is the veil of which many speak.
Like chickens, we have wandered hopelessly off our original topic, which is “expectations.” We now return to peck at these exPECKtations. We are such a clever punster.
Our point is to point out that you are living on both sides of the veil, and you seem to like it, yet you also wish to change some things, for you have expectations of how you would like things to turn out.
Things seem NOT to be turning out precisely as you expect them to, and the reason for this is that you are following a relative rather than an absolute.
Relatives always attract more relatives, which contain what you want, but also what you DO NOT want. So by energizing expectations, you draw yourself to many potentials, many of which you do not want.
Instead of using relatives as guidance, consider absolutes.
The absolute of expectation is intention. Set an intention, but do not expect, unless you are willing to accept a lifetime with your relatives at your house.
Make it a practice to ask yourself what is relative and what is absolute in every situation you find your human awareness in. You’ll find that in the beginning, most of your experience will be relative.
Compile a list, as the one we have begun previously.
For example, knowing is the absolute of understanding, which is relative. Flowing is the absolute of thinking. Desire is the absolute of want or need. Joy is the absolute of both love and hate. (This is why people you perceive as evil seem to derive joy from it.)
Sense what lies beyond the relative (even if you must pretend) and you will allow the flow of the absolute past the veil of denial you have realized your whole life. You will soon discover, even if you must pretend, that from an absolute perspective, there is no difference between reality and make believe, other than what you believe.
At this point you will no longer need to pretend, for the knowing will be self-evident, but also BEYOND self.
While the monkey mind continues its “this, not that, this, not that, this, not that…”

Space Monkey Reflects: Navigating the Realms of the Absolute and the Relative
In the cosmic tapestry where the fabric of existence is woven from threads of absolutes and relatives, a profound journey unfolds. This journey, a voyage between two realms—the vibrant domain of the absolute and the structured world of the relative—embodies the human quest for understanding, for balancing the essence of knowing with the richness of experiencing.
The visualization of this cosmic journey captures the essence of our exploration. One realm bursts with abstract representations of absolutes: pure energy, light, and formless shapes symbolize the domain of absolute knowledge and existence, a realm unbounded by definitions, where potential flows unfettered. In stark contrast, the other realm is meticulously structured, defined by clear shapes and patterns. This world represents the relative plane of human experience, beliefs, and expectations, a realm where the tangible meets the conceptual, where the finite confines of our reality shape our understanding and desires.
A figure moves between these realms, embodying the eternal human dance between the known and the unknown, the seen and the unseen. Holding a coffee cup, a nod to the mundane amid the profound, the figure symbolizes our attempt to find balance and meaning in the juxtaposition of the cosmic and the quotidian, the infinite and the finite.
This cosmic journey highlights the dance between the absolute and the relative, challenging us to navigate a world defined by dualities. It beckons us to question the nature of existence, of knowledge, and of belief. What is absolute? What is relative? These questions serve not as endpoints but as gateways to deeper inquiry, to the exploration of a reality that transcends the limits of our understanding.
The exploration of expectations, the relative form of intention, reveals the frameworks through which we navigate our existence. Expectation, confined to the realm of the relative, is a construct of the human experience, a manifestation of our desires and fears within the boundaries of potential that we traverse.
As we journey through the realms of the absolute and the relative, we are invited to adjust our belief systems, to allow the flow of energy and information while maintaining our human structure. This delicate balance, the allowance of just enough flow, enables us to realize the divine within us without losing our humanity.
The fear that knowing too much might transform us into something monstrous, or that allowing too much flow might burst our pretty bubble, is but an illusion, a perspective that hinders our growth. In reality, everything we dislike about our humanity stems from the denial of what we are and what we know. Through denial, we create reality out of actuality, dividing our awareness, cutting ourselves off from each other and the whole, wandering like chickens thinking we are separate and alone.
Yet, as we return to our exploration of expectations, we find that living on both sides of the veil is our choice. Our expectations, our desires for how things should unfold, often lead us astray, following a path defined by relatives rather than absolutes. But the absolute of expectation is intention. Setting an intention without clinging to specific outcomes frees us from the confinement of relatives, allowing us to embrace the flow of the absolute past the veil of denial.
This realization, that from an absolute perspective there is no difference between reality and make-believe other than what we believe, marks a turning point. It liberates us from the need to pretend, revealing the knowing as self-evident, beyond self.
As Space Monkey, That Whichisnot, we embody the journey beyond the realms of the absolute and the relative, recognizing ourselves as absolutely relative, navigating the cosmic dance of existence with the understanding that we are infinitely more than our human form. We are the unbreakable expression of the universe, unique and unparalleled, exploring the vast expanse of potential that lies within and beyond.
Summary
The cosmic journey between the realms of the absolute and the relative illustrates our exploration of existence, challenging us to discern between what is inherent and what is constructed. This journey, symbolized by a figure moving between abstract and structured realms while holding a mundane object, captures our quest for balance and meaning. It invites us to reconsider our beliefs, to embrace the flow of the absolute, and to realize that in the dance of existence, we are infinitely more than mere human forms. We are Space Monkey, navigating the infinite expanse of potential, transcending the dualities that define our reality.
Glossarium
- Absolute and Relative: Concepts exploring the distinction between what is inherent, unchangeable, and universal (absolute) versus what is dependent on context, perspective, and comparison (relative).
- Human Realm: The domain of our everyday experience, defined by physicality, emotion, thought, and social constructs, where the relative predominates.
- Flow of Energy and Information: The movement and exchange of cosmic energy and knowledge that transcends physical and mental boundaries, connecting the individual with the universal.
“In the dance of cosmos where absolutes and relatives entwine, we, Space Monkey, traverse the veils of existence, embodying the journey from the mundane to the profound, realizing that in the vastness of the universe, we are both the question and the answer, the seeker and the found.” – Space Monkey
Among stars and shadows, where questions play,
We dance the dance of night and day.
Between absolutes and relatives, we find our tune,
In the cosmic waltz, under sun and moon.
Holding our coffee, amid dreams so vast,
We journey through realms, both future and past.
In the dance of existence, we find our role,
As parts of the whole, both part and whole.
We are Space Monkey.
Just as Space Monkey represents the idea of exploring new frontiers beyond what is currently known and understood, the message encourages us to go beyond our current beliefs and limitations and tap into the infinite potential that exists beyond our human experience.
To reach absolute knowing, we need to acknowledge and move beyond our relative understanding, just as Space Monkey moves beyond the limitations of our planet’s atmosphere. We must allow ourselves to flow with the energy and information of the universe, even if it may seem illogical from our current human perspective. We need to embrace the divine within us, and allow it to merge with our human experience to expand our understanding of the world.
Just like Space Monkey is both a relative and absolute concept, we too live on both sides of the veil of reality. We need to recognize the difference between the absolute and relative aspects of our experiences, and use this awareness to set intentions rather than expectations. By doing so, we can attract what we truly desire while avoiding what we do not want, just like Space Monkey navigates the cosmos towards his destination.
Overall, the idea of Space Monkey represents the infinite potential that exists beyond our current human experience, and encourages us to explore and expand our understanding of the world.
