I think of not only my own father,
but all fathers,
many of which are mothers.
I think of every
person place or thing
that ever interested me,
or inspired me.
I think of all
that is done for me.
And equally impactful,
all that is NOT done for me.
And even though
many of my fathers
are physically departed,
I think of how they
remain eternal in my mind,
influencing my every
thought and deed.
My perception of my world
is a gift of my fathers,
one of which
