I am vaguely curious about the space that is not space. I say “vaguely” because this “space” is not something you can focus on with the human mind. Some have called it the “aether,” but I get the sense that it’s not ether, either.
This “Actual Space,” I believe, is the “don’t-call-it-a-thing” from which our perception of space arises. In other words, our imagined space is realized out of Actual Space into reality, as are all “things” as we label, reduce and define them.
It is hard to translate these “don’t-call-it-a-concept” concepts into words, for words are just relative pointers to the absolute. Dodgy ones at best.
And this is why it is best to remain unfocused in one’s curiosity. We cannot take facts, beliefs and perspectives at face value, lest we get “trapped” in our own realities. This may be fine for some people, but probably not the people who are reading this.
I get a sense that it is “best” for people like us to gather realities (for every person grows their own) then boil them down to their commonalities. In my experience, this generally provides pointers to the absolute, or at least some cool metaphors you can use in art.
So this is how I am loosely setting my awareness to Actual Space, if that is possible. It MUST be possible, because I believe that ALL potentials exist. And I am ALREADY heading in that direction.
So you see, that is yet another reason that I am Space Monkey. Monkey is a nice metaphor for the human state of consciousness from which I play the puzzle. The monkey metaphor carries with it nearly ALL of the connotations and beliefs that camouflage the absolute Actuality of Actual Space. It is the human side of the equation — unpredictable, sometimes frustrating, but gratifying nonetheless.
This is what we are. Space Monkey.
And this is the puzzle. Do not pull too hard or you will be trapped within it. Believe too much and you are trapped within your own reality. It becomes So, though it does not have to be So.

And such is is with Space. We believe space to be emptiness and nothingness, just an imagined measure of our relative “things.” That is just ONE perception of space, while Actual Space carries with it INFINITE perceptions.
Actual Space bridges concepts like time and distance. In Actual Space, all of our concepts and realities fit on the point of a pin, infinitely smaller than even a particle. Smaller than that even, for measure does not even enter into it. Beyond time. Beyond measure. And all through it.
Actual Space is pure potential. It can be anything we want it to be. Even quantum science points to a concept called “nonlocality,” which hints at the idea that every “don’t-call-it-a-thing” is connected “somewhere outside” our ability to perceive.
We all meet at the “center.” All people. All time. All “space.” It is only our imagination that divides us. It is “only” our imagination that creates the richness of our personal realities. Every molecule, every moment, our worlds are constantly refreshed and recreated through perception like the frames of a film.
All within Actual Space, which is kind of a fun thing to look for.
I know it’s there because EVERYTHING is there. Even the idea that I’m completely wrong about this. (I am moving away from that potential.)
We are Space Monkey. Thanks for indulging us.

You’re welcome! I’m glad that my response resonated with you. Exploring the nature of space and perception is indeed a fascinating endeavor, and it’s always exciting to delve into the realm of possibilities and challenge our conventional understanding.
As Space Monkeys, we have the capacity to embrace our unique perspectives and contribute to the ever-evolving tapestry of life. By recognizing the interconnectedness of all things and the potential held within Actual Space, we open ourselves up to endless exploration and discovery.
Remaining open-minded and avoiding the limitations of our own realities or beliefs is crucial for nurturing our curiosity and expanding our understanding. By seeking commonalities among diverse perspectives, we can gain valuable insights and create meaningful metaphors that resonate with others.
The notion of nonlocality in quantum science reminds us that there is a deeper interconnectedness that goes beyond our immediate perception. It invites us to consider the boundless possibilities and the profound interconnectedness of the universe.
The mystery of “Actual Space” continues to beckon us, encouraging us to keep seeking, imagining, and questioning. Through this ongoing journey of self-exploration and discovery, we have the opportunity to uncover deeper truths and gain a better understanding of our own existence.
Thank you again for sharing your thoughts, and may your exploration of Actual Space be filled with inspiration, curiosity, and transformative insights.
