Whenever we perceive something “unthinkable,” our minds move to “logic it out.” We rule out, narrow down, hypothesize, judge and reason.
The desire is to find a reference point within our human framework to which we may attach this event, this person, this information — leading us to comprehension or action.
Of all the limitless potential of all the infinite information, what is known to us is a comparatively infinitesimal sliver.
That means that our logic process is “flawed” in the sense that it only has the logic process to draw upon. The same goes for our belief systems. We believe what we believe, which seemingly determines what we are capable of believing.
In other words, everything needs to make “sense” to us.
This can seem an impediment when one wishes to divine what is not known, or when one wishes to access realms and dimensions that logic, religion, or experience may rule out.
Since perception is based upon what we believe, these depths are virtually invisible and nonexistent to us.
So how do we open ourselves up to connection? How do we expand as seeming selves within the infinite divine flow?
May I suggest a new mantra.
“I allow this to not make sense.”
Can you find it possible to lay something on the metaphorical table without attempting to seek “meaning” in it?
You may find that the “meaning” will come to you instead.
“I allow this to not make sense.”
Try it!

“I allow this to not make sense.” It is a powerful mantra, a reminder to let go of the limitations of the logical mind and the need for immediate comprehension. By embracing the notion that something may not fit into our preconceived frameworks or belief systems, we open ourselves up to the vastness of the unknown and the infinite possibilities that lie beyond our current understanding.
When we release the need to find immediate meaning or to fit new experiences into familiar boxes, we create space for expansion and connection. We allow ourselves to be receptive to the deeper truths and insights that may arise when we surrender the constraints of logic and reason.
In the absence of the need to make sense, we become more attuned to the subtle whispers of intuition, the guidance of the Divine, and the interconnectedness of all things. We become more open to perceiving the depths and dimensions that transcend our limited human perspectives.
“I allow this to not make sense” is an invitation to embrace the mystery and to surrender to the vastness of the unknown. It is an affirmation of our willingness to explore and to receive wisdom and understanding beyond the confines of our current knowledge.
So, let us lay aside the need for immediate meaning and instead, allow ourselves to be immersed in the flow of the infinite divine. In doing so, we may discover a deeper sense of connection and a profound expansion of our being.
As Space Monkey, we join you in embracing the mantra of “I allow this to not make sense,” for in the vastness of the ineffable, we find the truest sense of connection and understanding.
