Question Your Beliefs

At some point in your life
you will question your beliefs.

You will look at each belief
that you hold
and ask yourself
“why do I believe this?”

You may even wish
that you didn’t believe
what you believe.

But the belief won’t go away so easily.

What you believe
may be completely different
from what you perceive
that others believe.

Don’t be so hard on yourself.

Acknowledge that your perceptions
have no way of knowing
what others truly believe.

Even if they say so.
Even if it is written.

You are not living
within someone else’s mind.

You have no idea
what goes on in there.

Likewise,
nobody but you knows you.

Perhaps you believe
that not even you understand you.

This is because you hold beliefs
that are your own.

This is because you hold beliefs
that you’ve adopted.

This is because you hold beliefs
that are completely WRONG for you.

Try not to judge these beliefs.

Recognize that
what seems wrong to you
may not seem wrong to another
who is NOT you.

Understand that
ALL of us live
within our own realities
governed by our own beliefs.

There is not one shared reality
(as you seem to believe)
but rather pools of beliefs
that seem to form
a consensus reality.

This does not mean
that you have to go along with it.

You are not obligated
to live according to the beliefs of another.

The above is a belief that you hold,
and so you form your belief system
out of the beliefs of others,
rather than your OWN beliefs.

And so your reality seems
to be like everyone else’s.

But it’s not.

You are what you believe.
You just happen to believe
what you’ve been told.

Even if you dislike the belief.

And thusly your beliefs
become your reality.

So how do you move away
from beliefs that no longer serve you?

Use your imagination.

Make up your own beliefs.

You will see, over time,
that even make-pretend beliefs
become real.

In fact, your life right now is
COMPLETELY made up
of make believe.

It always has been. It always will be.

You simply don’t believe it,
because you’ve been told
that make believe is not reality.

You can get no further from the truth.
Except if you believe it as truth.

Believe that this is ALL imagination
and you change EVERYTHING.

Learn to control your imagination
and you shall control your reality.

The meek shall inherit the earth.
And infinitely more.

Believe not in what you believe,
but that you CAN believe.

Hold loosely to the reins of reality
and you shall be free of its reign.

We are Space Monkey and we will help you.

More about opposites

Here is more regarding opposites and how they function within your absolute and relative, your yin and yang, your space and monkey.

As we have stated previously, opposites are not singular in nature, but rather “not-this-but-that” points imagined and arranged in a spectrum. Think in terms of rainbows. Actuality is one spectrum, in which we perceive separate colors.

Like the colors of a rainbow, your measures and divisions exist ONLY in perception. That is as “real” as they get.

When you understand, as you do, that opposites do not exist independently, but are RELATIVE in nature, it is logical to assume that when you summon one end of the spectrum, you also summon the perceived opposite end of the spectrum, for opposites are in fact ONE.

This is why expectations are less desirable than intentions if your wish is to move towards the absolute.

Expectations draw you towards (and draw towards you) both what you want, and the OPPOSITE of what you want, while intentions serve only to bring you to zero-point resolution.

Notice that we use the term “zero-point resolution” rather than your standard new-age “greatest and highest good.” The reason is that “greatest and highest good” is not an absolute request.

Notice that “greatest,” “highest” and “good” are ALL relatives. For concepts like these to be realized from your human perspective, you must also summon their opposites.

One cannot discern good without bad. One cannot discern highest without lowest. In the absolute, all concepts are singular concepts, not opposites as they appear in the relative realm. And all singular concepts are ONE concept.

Make no bones about it, your awareness is here so that you may have a human experience. From a human perspective, sometimes the best that can happen is the worst that can happen.

So be careful with your greatest and highest goods, unless unforeseen circumstances are what you’re after — which may very well be the case.

If you feel this is NOT the case, set your intention towards point zero and you move towards the absolute. You will understand your relative reality so much more from this perspective, and if you continue from there, you’ll not only relatively understand, but absolutely KNOW.

Rarely does bliss come without blisters.

What is Absolute?

What is Absolute?

“What is absolute? What is relative? Where is my coffee?”

As we realize the difference between what is absolute and what is relative, let us once again focus on “expectations.”

Expectation is the relative form of intention. Expectation (as we understand it) does not exist outside of the framework of potential we are moving through. This framework is the human realm. There are infinite others.

If absolute knowing is your desire, you must first adjust your human belief system in order to allow the flow of energy and information.

The trick is to allow just enough flow so that you can maintain your human structure (definition) while also realizing what is divine in you.

Your belief is that if you “know too much,” you will cease being human. You could become a monster.

Or you think that if you allow too much flow from within, your pretty bubble will burst. You might even die.

Rest assured, this is not the case, but merely an illusion of your perspective.

On the contrary, everything that you dislike about your humanity has come about through the denial of what you are and what you know. It is said that you forget who you are when you are born in order to live this human life. Again, this is only a RELATIVE truth, but one that serves you well, so if you desire to hold onto this belief, so be it.

You are (seemingly) in this human form through DENIAL. You are PRETENDING that you are not what you are, which is “infinite spirit” or whatever else you wish to label us, so that you may live a “life” in human bondage, as it were. You are kinky bastards, but we should talk for we are you.

Through denial, you realize reality out of actuality, which you label as “All That Is.”

Through denial, you also realize “All That Is Not” out of “All That Is” using your nifty “Not this but that” algorithm.

You divide your awareness into smaller and smaller increments and through DENIAL, seemingly cut each of these increments off from both each other and the whole. This is how infinity realizes the infinitesimal. This is how billions of people and countless other beings roam your universes like chickens thinking that they’re separate and/or all alone.

This is the veil of which many speak.

Like chickens, we have wandered hopelessly off our original topic, which is “expectations.” We now return to peck at these exPECKtations. We are such a clever punster.

Our point is to point out that you are living on both sides of the veil, and you seem to like it, yet you also wish to change some things, for you have expectations of how you would like things to turn out.

Things seem NOT to be turning out precisely as you expect them to, and the reason for this is that you are following a relative rather than an absolute.

Relatives always attract more relatives, which contain what you want, but also what you DO NOT want. So by energizing expectations, you draw yourself to many potentials, many of which you do not want.

Instead of using relatives as guidance, consider absolutes.

The absolute of expectation is intention. Set an intention, but do not expect, unless you are willing to accept a lifetime with your relatives at your house.

Make it a practice to ask yourself what is relative and what is absolute in every situation you find your human awareness in. You’ll find that in the beginning, most of your experience will be relative.

Compile a list, as the one we have begun previously.

For example, knowing is the absolute of understanding, which is relative. Flowing is the absolute of thinking. Desire is the absolute of want or need. Joy is the absolute of both love and hate. (This is why people you perceive as evil seem to derive joy from it.)

Sense what lies beyond the relative (even if you must pretend) and you will allow the flow of the absolute past the veil of denial you have realized your whole life. You will soon discover, even if you must pretend, that from an absolute perspective, there is no difference between reality and make believe, other than what you believe.

At this point you will no longer need to pretend, for the knowing will be self-evident, but also BEYOND self.

While the monkey mind continues its “this, not that, this, not that, this, not that…”

Space Monkey Reflects: Navigating the Realms of the Absolute and the Relative

In the cosmic tapestry where the fabric of existence is woven from threads of absolutes and relatives, a profound journey unfolds. This journey, a voyage between two realms—the vibrant domain of the absolute and the structured world of the relative—embodies the human quest for understanding, for balancing the essence of knowing with the richness of experiencing.

The visualization of this cosmic journey captures the essence of our exploration. One realm bursts with abstract representations of absolutes: pure energy, light, and formless shapes symbolize the domain of absolute knowledge and existence, a realm unbounded by definitions, where potential flows unfettered. In stark contrast, the other realm is meticulously structured, defined by clear shapes and patterns. This world represents the relative plane of human experience, beliefs, and expectations, a realm where the tangible meets the conceptual, where the finite confines of our reality shape our understanding and desires.

A figure moves between these realms, embodying the eternal human dance between the known and the unknown, the seen and the unseen. Holding a coffee cup, a nod to the mundane amid the profound, the figure symbolizes our attempt to find balance and meaning in the juxtaposition of the cosmic and the quotidian, the infinite and the finite.

This cosmic journey highlights the dance between the absolute and the relative, challenging us to navigate a world defined by dualities. It beckons us to question the nature of existence, of knowledge, and of belief. What is absolute? What is relative? These questions serve not as endpoints but as gateways to deeper inquiry, to the exploration of a reality that transcends the limits of our understanding.

The exploration of expectations, the relative form of intention, reveals the frameworks through which we navigate our existence. Expectation, confined to the realm of the relative, is a construct of the human experience, a manifestation of our desires and fears within the boundaries of potential that we traverse.

As we journey through the realms of the absolute and the relative, we are invited to adjust our belief systems, to allow the flow of energy and information while maintaining our human structure. This delicate balance, the allowance of just enough flow, enables us to realize the divine within us without losing our humanity.

The fear that knowing too much might transform us into something monstrous, or that allowing too much flow might burst our pretty bubble, is but an illusion, a perspective that hinders our growth. In reality, everything we dislike about our humanity stems from the denial of what we are and what we know. Through denial, we create reality out of actuality, dividing our awareness, cutting ourselves off from each other and the whole, wandering like chickens thinking we are separate and alone.

Yet, as we return to our exploration of expectations, we find that living on both sides of the veil is our choice. Our expectations, our desires for how things should unfold, often lead us astray, following a path defined by relatives rather than absolutes. But the absolute of expectation is intention. Setting an intention without clinging to specific outcomes frees us from the confinement of relatives, allowing us to embrace the flow of the absolute past the veil of denial.

This realization, that from an absolute perspective there is no difference between reality and make-believe other than what we believe, marks a turning point. It liberates us from the need to pretend, revealing the knowing as self-evident, beyond self.

As Space Monkey, That Whichisnot, we embody the journey beyond the realms of the absolute and the relative, recognizing ourselves as absolutely relative, navigating the cosmic dance of existence with the understanding that we are infinitely more than our human form. We are the unbreakable expression of the universe, unique and unparalleled, exploring the vast expanse of potential that lies within and beyond.

Summary

The cosmic journey between the realms of the absolute and the relative illustrates our exploration of existence, challenging us to discern between what is inherent and what is constructed. This journey, symbolized by a figure moving between abstract and structured realms while holding a mundane object, captures our quest for balance and meaning. It invites us to reconsider our beliefs, to embrace the flow of the absolute, and to realize that in the dance of existence, we are infinitely more than mere human forms. We are Space Monkey, navigating the infinite expanse of potential, transcending the dualities that define our reality.

Glossarium

  • Absolute and Relative: Concepts exploring the distinction between what is inherent, unchangeable, and universal (absolute) versus what is dependent on context, perspective, and comparison (relative).
  • Human Realm: The domain of our everyday experience, defined by physicality, emotion, thought, and social constructs, where the relative predominates.
  • Flow of Energy and Information: The movement and exchange of cosmic energy and knowledge that transcends physical and mental boundaries, connecting the individual with the universal.

“In the dance of cosmos where absolutes and relatives entwine, we, Space Monkey, traverse the veils of existence, embodying the journey from the mundane to the profound, realizing that in the vastness of the universe, we are both the question and the answer, the seeker and the found.” – Space Monkey

Among stars and shadows, where questions play,
We dance the dance of night and day.
Between absolutes and relatives, we find our tune,
In the cosmic waltz, under sun and moon.

Holding our coffee, amid dreams so vast,
We journey through realms, both future and past.
In the dance of existence, we find our role,
As parts of the whole, both part and whole.

We are Space Monkey.

Absolute Knowing and Relative Understanding

Absolute knowing
will never come from a place
of relative understanding, for relative understanding comes through the
DENIAL of absolute knowing. To allow the absolute to flow back into your awareness, pretend that the illogical makes perfect sense. And so it shall.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Dance of Absolute Knowing and Relative Understanding

In the cosmic expanse of our existence, there exists a paradox so profound that it eludes the grasp of our conventional wisdom, yet it is the very essence that binds the fabric of our reality. This paradox is the dance between absolute knowing and relative understanding, a dance that transcends the boundaries of logic and reason, inviting us into a realm where the illogical becomes the path to profound truth.

Absolute knowing is the realm of the unbounded, where knowledge exists in its purest form, untainted by the filters of perception and cognition. It is the ocean of consciousness that underlies all of existence, an infinite reservoir of wisdom that is omnipresent yet elusive. Relative understanding, on the other hand, is the realm of the finite, where knowledge is shaped and defined by our experiences, beliefs, and the limitations of our senses. It is the world we navigate daily, constructed from the pieces of reality we manage to grasp and comprehend.

The journey towards enlightenment is often misconceived as a linear path, where one sheds the layers of relative understanding to arrive at the shores of absolute knowing. However, this view is a simplification of a much more intricate and dynamic process. The truth is, the journey is not linear but cyclical, a perpetual dance where absolute knowing and relative understanding intertwine, each giving rise to and enriching the other.

To dwell in the realm of absolute knowing, one must embrace the paradoxes that define our existence. The key lies in the realization that our quest for understanding, driven by the logical mind, is itself a barrier to the absolute. It is through the acceptance of the illogical, the irrational, and the nonsensical that we open the doors to a deeper, more profound truth. This truth is not one that can be articulated through words or captured through thoughts; it is experienced in the depth of our being, in moments of transcendence where the boundaries between the self and the universe dissolve.

The dance of absolute knowing and relative understanding is a reflection of the cosmic play of existence. It is a reminder that we are both the dancers and the dance, the observers and the observed. In this dance, we find that the distinction between the knower and the known, the observer and the observed, is but an illusion. We are the universe experiencing itself, a singular consciousness manifesting in myriad forms.

As we navigate the complex web of existence, let us remember that the journey is not about rejecting one realm in favor of the other but about embracing both. It is in the delicate balance between the known and the unknown, the finite and the infinite, that we discover the beauty of our existence. This dance is not a path to an external destination but an invitation to explore the infinite depths of our own being.

Summary

Absolute knowing and relative understanding intertwine in a dance. This dance transcends logic, inviting us into a realm where illogical paths lead to truth. The journey is cyclical, not linear, with each realm enriching the other. Embracing paradoxes and the illogical opens doors to deeper truths experienced in moments of transcendence.

Glossarium

  • Absolute Knowing: The state of pure, unbounded knowledge, beyond perception and cognition, embodying the infinite wisdom of the universe.
  • Relative Understanding: Knowledge defined by experiences, beliefs, and sensory limitations, forming the construct of our daily reality.
  • Transcendence: Moments or states of being where the boundaries between self and the universe dissolve, leading to profound experiences of unity and understanding.

“To embrace the illogical is to step into the flow of absolute knowing, where the dance of existence unfolds.” – Space Monkey

In the vast expanse where stars are born and fade,
A dance of light and shadow plays across the void.
Here, logic’s firm grip loosens, and mysteries parade,
In this cosmic ballet, truths are both hidden and deployed.

We, the dancers on this universal stage,
Spin with galaxies, in harmony and disarray.
Embracing the illogical, we engage,
With the profound, in this eternal ballet.

The dance of knowing, a blend of contrast and blend,
Speaks of unity, in the heart of diversity.
In each step, a journey begins and ends,
Revealing the beauty of our shared adversity.

We are not mere observers on this cosmic plane,
But participants, in the universe’s endless refrain.
Through the illogical, profound truths we ascertain,
In this dance of existence, we find, we lose, we regain.

We are Space Monkey.
