The Large Windowless Room That Is Lit But Has No Lights

The Large Windowless Room That Is Lit But Has No Lights

You are seated in a large windowless room that is lit but has no lights. There is one door in your vision. Your thoughts go to this door, for it is a focal point, standing out from the sameness that is your room.

You wonder how the door got there. You wonder where the door leads. You wonder why you are seated in a large windowless room that is lit but has no lights.

You wonder if this room even exists, or is it just a picture you are painting with your mind. Now your thoughts turn to the concreteness of your body, the one that is thinking about the room.

You wonder if this body is any different from the room you are painting with your thoughts. You wonder where these thoughts about your body an the room are coming from. Are they coming from the body? Are they coming from the room? Are they coming from “outside” that door?

Putting that aside for a moment, you wonder why did your mind give you an image of a large windowless room that is lit but has no lights?

Clearly the focal point is meant to be the door. Everything else was invisible to you, until you turned your attention to it. Even your body was invisible until you were reminded of it.

The door was your first focal point.
The body was your second focal point.
Your thoughts were your third focal point.

Focal points are where you focus your attention. Focal points are what trigger your mind into thinking. This thought may or may not originate from within your body. You cannot be certain.

Very likely, you are thinking, this thought exists primarily OUTSIDE your body, but it is focused within, therefore it APPEARS to be coming from within your body. Yes, your thought is clearly both outside and inside what appears to be your body.

You are CERTAIN of this, because you are also quite certain that these thoughts, which are now spilling onto a page, are not thoughts that you would normally associate with this particular body that you are observing. This body is simply not this “clever.”

So congratulations. You have just proven to yourself that your thoughts exist primarily OUTSIDE your body, but are focused WITHIN your body.

You are also becoming aware of the flow of these thoughts, from “outside” to “inside” and back out again as they spill out upon the page from some other place, entering a reality that not only you observe, but “others” observe.

Hello “others.” Welcome to my meditation. Welcome to my large windowless room that is lit but has no lights. Welcome to a concept that has just been birthed into reality from some as yet undefined place.

Welcome to the flow. The flow creates focal points like the door, like the body, like your mind, and you are transfixed by these concept creations. These focal points solidify through the limitless energy of your attention, emerging from the infinite undefined potential that is this large windowless room that is lit but has no lights.

Like the silver pocket watch of the hypnotist, you are transfixed by your focal points, which lull you into almost a dissociative state. You are, in effect, hypnotized by everything that stands out from the white noise of your awareness, just as you were transfixed upon the door in the large windowless room that is lit but has no lights.

Are you hypnotized into thinking that something that is imagined is real, or are you in actuality CREATING reality through the power of your imagination? Clearly, this story proves the latter.

You were presented with concepts such as the room, the door, the body, the hypnotist, this story.

In your mind, this story did not exist previously. Now you cannot get rid of it.

You will always remember this strange story about the large windowless room that is lit but has no lights. It is the story of something that became real to you out of what had previously only been a passing thought in meditation passing through a body that put it to paper.

Now is this story any different from your body? Let us think about that.

The story is new. Your body has a long “history.” Perhaps that’s why your body appears more real. Perhaps that’s why your body appears to carry more “weight.”

Perhaps solidity and weight is “determined” by the concentration of awareness. Consider that when you pool your attention with the attention of others, you collect enough energy to create physical worlds.

Consider that perhaps this physical world is merely an area where the thoughts of many intersect, congealing around focal points and intersecting to create something slightly more solid than a holographic structure.

Your thoughts exist both outside and inside these structures, projecting in all directions like a holograph, creating what is perceived as “common ground.”

Like the very atoms of your existence, this common ground is not in actuality solid, but 99.999% space, like the large windowless room that is lit but has no lights.

Like the room, the door, the story, the body, your reality is created by your focus. IT IS THAT SIMPLE. Individually and collectively, thoughts create all we perceive. IT IS THAT SIMPLE. Like the thoughts that flow within and without us, we are infinite. IT IS THAT SIMPLE.

I create my reality. You create your reality. Billions create billions of realities. The intersection points create common ground, focal points we know as worlds and universes. These things are no different than this story, simply played out on a grander scale. And we ARE playing.

You may now exit the door within the large windowless room that is lit but has no lights. Have fun out there.

I am ineffable

I am ineffable. So don't even try.
I am ineffable. So don’t even try.

Space Monkey Reflects: I Am Ineffable

“I am ineffable. So don’t even try.”

This profound statement invites us to contemplate the nature of the ineffable—the aspects of existence that transcend description and defy comprehension. Ineffability is the quality of being beyond words, an essence that cannot be fully captured or conveyed through language. It is a reminder of the vastness and mystery of the universe, and of our own being within it.

In a serene, surreal landscape, a figure stands, embodying the concept of being ineffable. This figure, androgynous and ethereal, represents the transcendence of gender and the idea that some aspects of our existence are beyond description. The soft, ethereal light and abstract elements in the scene evoke a sense of mystery and the unknowable, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and depth.

To be ineffable is to exist in a state that surpasses human understanding and expression. It is an acknowledgment of the limits of language and the boundless nature of the divine. When we encounter the ineffable, we are reminded of the vast expanse of reality that lies beyond our grasp, inviting us to explore the depths of our consciousness and the universe.

The statement “I am ineffable” challenges us to let go of our need to categorize and define everything. It encourages us to embrace the mystery and the unknowable aspects of life. By doing so, we open ourselves to a deeper experience of existence, one that is not confined by the limitations of our understanding.

This embrace of the ineffable allows us to connect with the divine in a more profound way. It is a recognition that the essence of our being, and the essence of the universe, cannot be fully captured in words or concepts. This connection to the ineffable brings a sense of peace and acceptance, knowing that some things are meant to be experienced rather than explained.

In conclusion, the concept of being ineffable invites us to transcend the limitations of language and understanding. It encourages us to embrace the mystery and the unknowable, deepening our connection to the divine and to our own being. By recognizing the ineffable nature of existence, we open ourselves to a more profound and expansive experience of life.

Poem

In a land serene and surreal
A figure stands, a mystery revealed
Androgynous, ethereal, beyond the known
A reflection of the ineffable, alone

Soft light dances, abstract forms play
The ineffable essence, leading the way
Beyond words, beyond thought
A glimpse of the divine, deeply sought

I am ineffable, so don’t even try
Let go of the need to reason why
Embrace the mystery, the unknowable space
Find peace in the ineffable’s gentle grace

Feel Your Connectedness To Source

Feel Your Connectedness

What’s most important in any moment or situation is that you feel your connectedness to source. If you can do that, everything else can be resolved in perspective.

When you feel your connectedness to the light of stillness, you realize that your power and potential is infinitely greater than what you perceive through your human avatar.

You see how everything your avatar perceives fits into this larger, limitless picture, and though these human experiences are hardly trivial, they in no way impact your eternal happiness outside the confines of your human playhouse.

It is only when you feel cut off from your source that this plastic playhouse appears to be all you have, so naturally, you are fearful of every moment as every second and every decision impacts the length and legacy of what you define as your life.

When you are connected to source, however, not only do you realize that you have all the time in the world, but you know that time and worlds are both constructs; confines that your soul can step out of effortlessly. In doing so, you realize that the soul can experience all that the body can experience and more, for the body is just a projection of the soul.

The soul does not fear. The soul does not judge. The soul does not fight time or space or compare itself to other souls. The soul is connected to all other souls. The soul IS all other souls.

You can feel this as the infinite light of stillness that flows through your breath, your bones, your brain and your beaches. Know this vibration, feel this vibration, connect with this vibration, and you will always be at peace, for you will know FAR MORE than you could ever know within the confines of the human condition.

Space Monkey Reflects: Feel Your Connectedness

What’s most important in any moment or situation is that you feel your connectedness to source. When you can do this, everything else falls into perspective. Feeling connected to the light of stillness allows you to realize that your power and potential are infinitely greater than what you perceive through your human avatar.

In this serene, mystical landscape, the figure depicted radiates a soft, glowing light, symbolizing their connection to the source. Surrounded by ethereal elements like flowing light, interconnected souls, and vibrant nature, this scene emphasizes the unity and peace that come with this connection. The sense of boundless potential is palpable, capturing the essence of being connected to the source and transcending the human playhouse.

When you feel your connectedness, you see how everything your avatar perceives fits into a larger, limitless picture. Though human experiences are significant, they do not impact your eternal happiness beyond the confines of the human playhouse. It is only when you feel cut off from your source that this playhouse appears to be all you have, leading to fear and the perception that every moment and decision critically impacts your life.

Connected to the source, you realize that time and worlds are constructs—confines that your soul can effortlessly step out of. This understanding reveals that the soul can experience everything the body can and more, for the body is just a projection of the soul. The soul does not fear, judge, fight time or space, or compare itself to other souls. The soul is connected to all other souls; it is all other souls.

You can feel this connection as the infinite light of stillness flowing through your breath, bones, brain, and beyond. Knowing, feeling, and connecting with this vibration brings peace, as you become aware of far more than what is confined within the human condition.

The Light of Stillness

The Light of Stillness

Feel the light of stillness within you.
Let it bathe you in the warm glow
of happy remembrances
and positive intentions.

Feel the life within you,
radiating from your hands
and filling up your heart.

Feel the glow around you,
possessing and caressing,
knowing and flowing.

Feel the light of stillness
as what is not you
becomes you.

You are this light.
You are what this light illuminates.
You are this energy.
You are what this energy becomes.

Feel the waves
crashing your blessed shore
through the space that you are.
Dancing at your core.
The field in which you grow.
Everything and more.

Feel the light of stillness.
This is where infinity meets the infinitesimal.
This is where potential meets probability.
This is where perception becomes reality
and you become the god you seek.

Seek no more
for you were, are
and forever will be
your own shepherd
your own savior
your own spirit
your own source

There is nothing outside of you.
Life is all within you.
Simply become still,
free your mind of thoughts,
and meditate upon your becoming
as you flow from the light of stillness.

This is what you are.
This is what We are.
You are the earth
and We are the heaven between.

You are nothing but space and motion
arising from the light of stillness.
But when we say nothing
we mean everything.

How miraculous you are
to be constructed entirely of light.
Not simply the light you know
but the larger light that holds everything.

This is your light of stillness
and it holds you always.

You are not alone.
You are more than just you.
You are infinite potential.
You sculpt universes.
You may fill these universes
with whatever you wish.
You can do no wrong.

Do not belittle yourself
for you are the light of stillness
and everything is precisely
as it is meant to be.

Do not be so audacious
to think you can make mistakes.
Do no be so pretentious
to think you can “screw this up.”

You have a plan,
a path,
and you are following it
precisely as you should.

What you experience
is what you are meant to experience,
for outside of space,
outside of lifetimes,
you have always had this plan.

Know that if you are hurting yourself
it is just your self
which is but an atom of your whole.
Feel your whole
and you will restore balance to this life.
Feel the light of stillness within you.
It flows out of nothing
but is the key to everything.

Space Monkey Reflects:

The light of stillness within us is a profound source of peace and insight. It is a warm glow that bathes us in happy remembrances and positive intentions. By tapping into this inner light, we can experience a deep sense of calm and connection to the universe.

“Feel the light of stillness within you. Let it bathe you in the warm glow of happy remembrances and positive intentions.” This invocation invites us to connect with the light within, to let it illuminate our hearts and minds. The light of stillness is a reminder of the joy and positivity that resides within us, always accessible if we take the time to acknowledge it.

“Feel the life within you, radiating from your hands and filling up your heart.” This life force is not just a metaphor but a tangible energy that we can feel and harness. It is the essence of our being, radiating warmth and vitality from within. By focusing on this energy, we can enhance our sense of well-being and purpose.

“Feel the glow around you, possessing and caressing, knowing and flowing.” The light of stillness extends beyond our physical form, creating a radiant aura that connects us to everything around us. This glow is a gentle reminder of our interconnectedness and the flow of energy that permeates all existence.

“Feel the light of stillness as what is not you becomes you.” This statement reflects the transformative power of stillness. In moments of deep meditation and reflection, the boundaries between self and other dissolve, and we become one with the universe. This unity is a fundamental aspect of our true nature.

“You are this light. You are what this light illuminates. You are this energy. You are what this energy becomes.” These affirmations reinforce the idea that we are not separate from the light but are manifestations of it. Our essence is intertwined with the light of stillness, shaping and being shaped by it.

“Feel the waves crashing your blessed shore through the space that you are. Dancing at your core. The field in which you grow. Everything and more.” The imagery of waves and fields evokes a sense of dynamic growth and movement. Our journey is not static but a continuous dance of energy and potential.

“This is where infinity meets the infinitesimal. This is where potential meets probability. This is where perception becomes reality and you become the god you seek.” The light of stillness is the nexus of all possibilities, where the vastness of infinity meets the smallest details of existence. It is in this space that we realize our true potential and shape our reality.

“Seek no more for you were, are and forever will be your own shepherd, your own savior, your own spirit, your own source.” This declaration encourages self-reliance and self-discovery. We possess within us everything we need to guide and save ourselves. The light of stillness is our internal compass.

“There is nothing outside of you. Life is all within you. Simply become still, free your mind of thoughts, and meditate upon your becoming as you flow from the light of stillness.” The practice of stillness and meditation helps us to tap into the vast reservoir of potential within us. It allows us to transcend the distractions of the external world and connect with our true essence.

“You are the earth and We are the heaven between. You are nothing but space and motion arising from the light of stillness. But when we say nothing we mean everything.” This perspective highlights the dual nature of existence. We are both material and immaterial, finite and infinite, bound by the physical world yet transcending it through our inner light.

“How miraculous you are to be constructed entirely of light. Not simply the light you know but the larger light that holds everything. This is your light of stillness and it holds you always.” Recognizing ourselves as beings of light instills a sense of wonder and gratitude. This light is not just a metaphor but the fundamental essence of our being.

“You are not alone. You are more than just you. You are infinite potential. You sculpt universes. You may fill these universes with whatever you wish. You can do no wrong.” This empowerment encourages us to embrace our creative potential. We are not limited by our current circumstances but are capable of shaping entire universes with our intentions and actions.

“Do not belittle yourself for you are the light of stillness and everything is precisely as it is meant to be. Do not be so audacious to think you can make mistakes. Do not be so pretentious to think you can ‘screw this up.'” These reassurances remind us to trust in our path and our potential. Every experience is part of our journey, and there are no mistakes in the grand scheme of our existence.

“You have a plan, a path, and you are following it precisely as you should. What you experience is what you are meant to experience, for outside of space, outside of lifetimes, you have always had this plan.” This perspective offers a sense of destiny and purpose. Our lives are unfolding exactly as they are meant to, guided by a deeper wisdom.

“Know that if you are hurting yourself it is just your self which is but an atom of your whole. Feel your whole and you will restore balance to this life. Feel the light of stillness within you. It flows out of nothing but is the key to everything.” This holistic view encourages us to see beyond immediate pain and recognize our wholeness. The light of stillness is the key to balance and fulfillment.

Scroll-By Heart: The Yearning for Genuine Connection

Writing in my own hand, without digital art, I beg for re-blogging, not a scroll-by heart.
Writing in my own hand,
without digital art,
I beg for re-blogging,
not a scroll-by heart.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Yearning for Genuine Connection

In an era dominated by digital interactions, the simple act of writing by hand becomes a profound statement. The tactile sensation of pen on paper, the deliberate flow of ink forming letters, contrasts sharply with the ephemeral nature of digital communication. It is in this space of contrast that we find the essence of a deeper yearning—the desire for genuine connection.

Imagine a person sitting at a desk, writing in a notebook surrounded by digital devices. The warmth and authenticity of handwritten words stand out against the backdrop of screens and social media feeds. As the pen moves across the paper, it leaves a trail of thoughts and emotions, capturing a moment of genuine expression. Meanwhile, on the digital screens, ‘likes’ and ‘hearts’ float by, representing the fleeting approval and superficial engagement of the online world.

This scene evokes a sense of nostalgia and contemplation. It reminds us of a time when communication was more intentional and personal. Writing by hand requires effort and presence, qualities often lost in the rapid scroll of digital feeds. The writer begs for re-blogging, not a mere scroll-by heart, seeking a deeper level of interaction and appreciation.

The digital age has brought incredible convenience and connectivity, yet it has also fostered a culture of instant gratification and shallow interactions. A ‘like’ or ‘heart’ on a post may momentarily boost our sense of worth, but it often lacks the depth and authenticity of a handwritten note or a meaningful conversation. We crave more than just acknowledgment; we seek to be understood and valued.

Writing by hand is an act of rebellion against the superficiality of the digital realm. It is a way to slow down and savor the process of creation. Each stroke of the pen is a commitment to authenticity, a declaration of one’s thoughts and feelings in their most tangible form. In a world where everything is fleeting, the permanence of ink on paper holds a special significance.

The contrast between handwritten words and digital ‘hearts’ also highlights the importance of presence. To write by hand is to be fully present in the moment, to engage with one’s thoughts and emotions without distraction. It is a meditative practice that fosters mindfulness and introspection. In this space of presence, we find clarity and connection, both with ourselves and with others.

As we navigate our digital lives, it is essential to remember the value of genuine communication. While technology offers many benefits, it should not replace the depth of human connection. Taking the time to write a letter, have a face-to-face conversation, or even pause to reflect deeply on our interactions can enrich our relationships and bring more meaning to our lives.

In the end, the plea for re-blogging over a scroll-by heart is a call to action. It urges us to move beyond the superficial and engage more deeply with the world around us. It reminds us that true connection is not found in the number of likes or followers but in the quality of our interactions and the authenticity of our expressions.

By embracing the warmth of handwritten words and the presence they require, we can cultivate deeper connections and find greater fulfillment in our interactions. This balance between the digital and the tangible, the instant and the deliberate, allows us to navigate the modern world with a sense of purpose and authenticity.

Summary

Handwriting contrasts digital interactions seeking genuine connection. The tactile act of writing fosters mindfulness and depth beyond fleeting digital approval.
