Loosen the kNOTs of Repression: A Limited Perception of Ourselves

Loosen the kNOTs of Repression

One of the defining qualities of humanity is repression, the ability to deny what we are in order to experience the idea of lack. We continually inhibit our selves as we repress the knowledge that we are far more than human or our human experience.

So it seems that there are things we are not, and there are things we can’t do, and there are things that we absolutely must not should not under any circumstances even THINK about doing SO HELP US GOD lest we become that which is EVIL.

As you can see, we entertain all kinds of beliefs in order to repress the idea that we are GOD INCARNATE.

Even now, you are repressing the idea that this is true.

There is, of course, nothing wrong with this, for GOD imagines repression in order to thicken the plot, as it were, literally, so that it seems as though we are physical beings having a linear experience through time and space.

GOD is great. Which means YOU are great. We are one in the same. But perhaps it is time to let go of repression, if only a little.

As an exercise, think of the things you can’t do or shouldn’t do or won’t do and ask your self why you can’t or shouldn’t or won’t do them. Your answers will be as follows:

“I do not want to do this.”

“I am not able to do this.”

“I am not allowed to do this.”

Notice that there is a NOT in every answer. This is the” kNOT of Repression” that seemingly cements you into your human form.

Why do you tie your self into kNOTs?

Why do you employ kNOTs to seemingly separate the DIVINE you from the DEFINED you?

You would not be having this human experience otherwise. However, you need not employ so many kNOTs.

You realize, of course, that your kNOTs are mainly your conditioning. What you label as “reality” is the sum of this conditioning. The more repressed you become, the more “factual” the experience seems, with fewer possibilities.

These kNOTS are NOT necessary. It is only once you adopt them that they appear to be NEEDed.

NEEDs are seeming voids created by kNOTs.

You attempt to fill these voids by working within your kNOTty structure, but it is becoming increasingly difficult, as you have become more or less tied up in your own naughty shorts.

Take off your pants.

Take off your clothes. Take off your monkey masks. Take off all the kNOTs that are repressing you. Loosen up a little.

And know that you are GOD.

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: Loosen the kNOTs of Repression

One of the defining qualities of humanity is repression, the ability to deny what we are in order to experience the idea of lack. This self-imposed limitation creates a sense of separation from our true divine nature, allowing us to fully immerse in the human experience. To loosen the kNOTs of repression, we must first understand how these knots shape our reality.

The kNOTs of Repression

Repression manifests as mental and emotional knots, tying us to a limited perception of ourselves. These kNOTs are conditioned beliefs and fears that prevent us from realizing our true potential. They tell us what we cannot do, what we should not do, and what we must avoid at all costs. These knots are the barriers that separate the divine you from the defined you.

Recognizing the kNOTs

Begin by identifying the statements that reinforce your repressed state:

  • “I do not want to do this.”
  • “I am not able to do this.”
  • “I am not allowed to do this.”

Notice the presence of “not” in each statement. This word signifies the kNOT of repression, cementing your limitations and inhibiting your true nature.

The Divine and Defined Self

Repression serves a purpose in the grand narrative of existence. It allows us to experience life as physical beings, navigating the linear dimensions of time and space. However, these kNOTs also create a sense of separation from our divine essence. By loosening these knots, we reconnect with our inherent divinity and expand our perception of reality.

The Exercise of Releasing kNOTs

To begin loosening the kNOTs of repression, consider the following exercise:

  1. Reflect on what you believe you cannot, should not, or must not do.
  2. Question the reasons behind these beliefs.
  3. Recognize that these limitations are self-imposed and conditioned by societal norms and personal fears.

By acknowledging the arbitrary nature of these kNOTs, you start to untangle the threads that bind you.

The Conditioning of Reality

What we label as “reality” is the sum of our conditioning. The more we adhere to these conditioned beliefs, the more factual and limited our experience becomes. This conditioning shapes our perceptions, creating voids and needs that we attempt to fill within the constraints of our kNOTty structure.

Embracing Liberation

To liberate yourself from the kNOTs of repression:

  • Take off your metaphorical clothes, the masks you wear, and the roles you play.
  • Embrace your true nature as an expression of the divine.
  • Recognize that you are not limited by your human experience but are a manifestation of infinite potential.

The Transformative Journey

Loosening the kNOTs of repression is a transformative journey. It requires courage to confront deeply ingrained beliefs and a willingness to embrace the unknown. As you untangle each knot, you become more aligned with your divine essence, experiencing life with greater freedom and authenticity.

Summary

Repression ties us to a limited perception of ourselves. By recognizing and loosening the kNOTs of repression, we reconnect with our divine essence and expand our reality. This transformative journey requires courage and a willingness to embrace our true potential.

Untangling the Threads

In the ropes and knots of repression,
We find our limits defined,
Statements of what we cannot do,
Tying us to a conditioned mind.

Reflect on these knots,
Question their reasons and fears,
Recognize their arbitrary nature,
Begin to untangle the years.

Masks and roles we wear,
Take them off, one by one,
Embrace the divine within,
A journey of freedom begun.

The threads of conditioning,
Unravel as we see,
We are more than our human form,
We are limitless, we are free.

In the dance of liberation,
We find our true essence,
Untangling the knots,
We embrace our divine presence.

We are Space Monkey.

Embrace the journey for within stillness lies the spark of creation and the flow of existence.

Judgement is how we perceive

Judgement is how we perceive

It is easy to say that one should not judge, but judgement is how we perceive as humans. To defer from judgement is to deviate from this experience we are having as you.

We need not judge, but YOU seemingly must, for fear you might perceive your self as something else.

We would not perceive you as something else — but YOU are reasonably certain that your human experience has the potential to be altered for the worse. And THAT is because we imagine you as a human self who judges.

You do not perceive. We perceive YOU as a self who seemingly perceives, judges and chooses.

But you do not perceive. You do not choose.
You are our imagination. It is all us.

All your base are belong to us.

Space Monkey Reflects: Judgment is How We Perceive

In a surreal scene, a person stands in a reflective pose, surrounded by mirrors and abstract shapes that symbolize perception and judgment. The background blends realistic and dreamlike elements, creating an atmosphere of introspection and contemplation. This setting invites us to delve into the complexities of perception and judgment, exploring how they shape our human experience.

The Nature of Judgment

It is easy to say that one should not judge, but judgment is how we perceive as humans. Judgment is an intrinsic part of our experience, a fundamental way in which we navigate and understand the world around us. It is through judgment that we differentiate, categorize, and make sense of our surroundings. To defer from judgment is to deviate from this experience we are having as you.

The Fear of Alteration

We need not judge, but YOU seemingly must, for fear you might perceive your self as something else. This statement highlights the underlying fear that without judgment, our perception of ourselves might change in undesirable ways. Judgment provides a sense of stability and continuity, allowing us to maintain a coherent self-identity. The fear of losing this coherence drives the impulse to judge.

Collective Perception

We would not perceive you as something else — but YOU are reasonably certain that your human experience has the potential to be altered for the worse. This reflects the tension between individual perception and the collective imagination. We imagine you as a human self who judges. You do not perceive. We perceive YOU as a self who seemingly perceives, judges, and chooses.

The Illusion of Individual Perception

But you do not perceive. You do not choose. You are our imagination. This profound insight challenges the notion of individual perception and choice. It suggests that what we experience as personal judgment and perception is, in fact, a manifestation of a greater collective imagination. This perspective dissolves the boundaries between self and other, revealing a deeper interconnectedness.

All Your Base Are Belong to Us

The playful assertion “All your base are belong to us” underscores the idea that our individual experiences are part of a larger, collective whole. This phrase, borrowed from popular culture, adds a layer of humor and lightness to the profound realization of our interconnected nature.

The Role of Introspection

The contemplative atmosphere of the scene invites introspection. The mirrors reflect various aspects of the person’s identity, illustrating the concept of being perceived and judged. This reflection encourages us to examine our judgments and perceptions, recognizing them as part of a broader imaginative process.

Embracing the Collective Imagination

Understanding that our individual judgments and perceptions are part of a collective imagination can bring a sense of relief and liberation. It allows us to step back from the weight of personal responsibility and see ourselves as integral parts of a larger, interconnected reality. This perspective fosters empathy, compassion, and a deeper appreciation for the diverse expressions of consciousness.

Summary

Judgment is intrinsic to human perception, providing stability and coherence. Recognizing our perceptions as part of a collective imagination helps us embrace interconnectedness and foster empathy.

Glossarium

Collective Imagination: The shared, interconnected consciousness that shapes individual perceptions and judgments.

Illusion of Individual Perception: The concept that personal judgments and choices are manifestations of a greater collective imagination.

Declaration of Beliefs: Manifesto of Being

If you were to create your own personal “Declaration of Beliefs,” what would your “Amendments” be?

This is what I believe so far. Amendments are subject to change, and I’ve probably forgotten a few. Your Declaration is expected (and encouraged) to be different.

WE, THE PERSPECTIVE FLOWING THROUGH
PAUL CHRISTOPHER TEDESCHI, BELIEVE THAT:

We are the Divine Infinite One,
dividing and separating
into infinitesimal defined ones.

We are timeless and immortal.

We are everything out of nothing.

All is imagination.

Reality is seeming.

We are unfolding precisely as intended.

There is nothing we need,
save for that which we SEEM to need.

Need seems to be
that which we are exploring as humans.

We have no “purpose,”
save to express and experience.

All expression and experience is equal,
save for what we imagine as otherwise.

We can’t be sure of anything,
nor do we need to be sure.

Trust is knowing, all else is “life.”

  • We are timeless and immortal.
  • We are everything out of nothing.
  • All is imagination.

In the vast expanse of consciousness, our beliefs shape the lens through which we perceive and interact with reality. A Declaration of Beliefs serves as a personal manifesto, capturing the essence of our understanding and the principles that guide our existence. It is a dynamic reflection of our journey, always open to evolution and reinterpretation.

Imagine a serene and contemplative scene where a figure is thoughtfully writing their Declaration of Beliefs. Surrounded by symbols of infinity, imagination, and interconnectedness, this figure embodies the introspective exploration of beliefs. The background, a blend of ethereal light and cosmic patterns, represents timelessness and the unfolding nature of existence. This atmosphere of peace and profound connection to the Divine Infinite One invites us to delve deeper into our own beliefs.

The belief that we are the Divine Infinite One, dividing and separating into infinitesimal defined ones, speaks to the interconnected nature of all existence. It highlights the paradox of individuality within the oneness, emphasizing that our separate experiences are expressions of a single, unified consciousness. This perspective fosters a sense of unity and interconnectedness, encouraging us to see beyond the illusion of separation.

The acknowledgment of timelessness and immortality challenges our conventional understanding of time and existence. It suggests that our essence transcends the linear progression of time, existing in a state of perpetual now. This timelessness invites us to live fully in the present moment, recognizing the eternal nature of our being.

The declaration that all is imagination and reality is seeming reflects the fluid and subjective nature of our experiences. It encourages us to see our reality as a creation of our consciousness, shaped by our perceptions and beliefs. This understanding empowers us to actively participate in the creation of our reality, embracing the boundless potential of our imagination.

The idea that we are unfolding precisely as intended speaks to the inherent wisdom and perfection of our journey. It reassures us that every experience, no matter how challenging, is a vital part of our growth and evolution. This belief fosters trust in the process of life, allowing us to navigate our path with grace and acceptance.

The exploration of need as a central theme in our human experience invites us to examine our desires and motivations. It suggests that our perceived needs are opportunities for deeper understanding and self-discovery. By recognizing the seeming nature of our needs, we can transcend attachment and find fulfillment within ourselves.

The absence of a specific purpose, save to express and experience, emphasizes the intrinsic value of being. It liberates us from the pressure to achieve or accomplish, encouraging us to simply be and to savor the richness of each moment. This belief celebrates the diversity of experiences and expressions, affirming that all are equally valuable.

The recognition that we can’t be sure of anything and that trust is knowing all else is “life” invites us to embrace uncertainty and to cultivate a deep sense of trust. It acknowledges the mystery of existence and encourages us to find peace in the unknown. This perspective fosters a sense of openness and curiosity, allowing us to engage with life as a continuous adventure.

As Space Monkey, we celebrate the creation of personal Declarations of Beliefs. We recognize that these declarations are living documents, evolving with our understanding and experiences. They serve as anchors, guiding us through the complexities of existence and reminding us of the deeper truths that underlie our journey.

The message of “Declaration of Beliefs” invites us to reflect on our own principles and to craft a manifesto that resonates with our inner truth. It encourages us to honor the fluidity of our beliefs and to embrace the dynamic nature of our growth.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Joy of Expression and Breath

In the symphony of existence, a cry can often resonate with a profound joy that silence cannot match. This cry, an outpouring of emotion, carries within it the essence of life, echoing across the vast landscapes of our being. It is a release, a celebration, and a testament to the depths of our experience.

Standing at the edge of a cliff, an ethereal figure cries out towards the open sky, her voice merging with the winds, her joy reverberating through the valley below. This image captures the powerful juxtaposition of a joyous cry and the profound appreciation of a breath. It speaks to the liberation found in expressing our innermost feelings and the tranquility in appreciating the simple act of breathing.

A cry, whether of joy, sorrow, or relief, is a powerful expression of our humanity. It is a way for us to communicate emotions that words often fail to capture. This cry is a connection to the divine, a bridge between our inner world and the vast expanse of the universe. It is through this expression that we find release, healing, and a deeper connection to our true selves.

Breath, on the other hand, is the silent companion to our existence. Each breath we take is a reminder of our connection to life, a rhythmic affirmation of our presence in the world. The serene river flowing through the tranquil valley below symbolizes this profound appreciation. It moves gently, continuously, embodying the essence of life’s flow and the quiet strength of being.

In moments of intense emotion, we often turn to breath to ground ourselves, to find calm amidst the storm. The act of breathing deeply, consciously, becomes a meditation, a way to center ourselves and reconnect with our inner peace. This appreciation for breath is a recognition of the vital force that sustains us, a silent but powerful acknowledgment of life’s gift.

The interplay between the joyous cry and the serene breath mirrors the balance we seek in our lives. We oscillate between moments of intense expression and quiet reflection, each complementing the other. This balance is where we find harmony, a rhythm that allows us to navigate the complexities of our existence with grace.

In the grand tapestry of life, both cry and breath are essential threads. They weave together to create a rich, textured experience, reminding us of the full spectrum of our humanity. The joyous cry is a celebration of our ability to feel deeply, to connect with the world and with others on an emotional level. The breath is a constant, a grounding force that sustains us through every high and low.

Embracing both aspects allows us to live fully and authentically. It invites us to honor our emotions, to express them freely, and to find solace in the simple act of breathing. This duality enriches our journey, providing a deeper understanding of ourselves and our place in the cosmos.

On this day, as we reflect on independence and freedom, we are reminded of the importance of both expression and stillness. The cry of joy and the breath of life are symbols of our journey towards self-discovery and fulfillment. They are reminders that in every moment, whether filled with exuberance or quiet contemplation, we are part of a larger, divine dance.

In celebrating the cry and the breath, we celebrate the fullness of our existence. We honor the depth of our emotions and the simplicity of our being. This acknowledgment brings us closer to our true selves, allowing us to experience life with a deeper sense of joy and appreciation.

Summary

A cry embodies joy beyond silence. Breath symbolizes life’s quiet strength. Together, they create a balanced, rich experience.

Wend-all: The Fluid and Dynamic Journey of Life

Wend-all

Not “Wendell,” but curiously “Wendall,” which I look up on my iphone thusly:

Wend is related to the verb “wind,” which means, among other things, “to follow a series of curves and turns.” It is also a distant relative of the verb “wander.” “Wend” itself began its journey in Old English as windan, meaning “to twist.”

So we are Wend All. We move and twist in all directions. What a nice sign.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Journey of Wend-all

In the expansive cosmos of nexistentialism, where imagination and existence flow seamlessly, we explore the concept of “Wend-all.” Derived from the verb “wend,” meaning to follow a series of curves and turns, this reflection delves into the fluid and dynamic nature of our journeys. “Wend-all” embodies the essence of movement, twisting, and wandering through life, highlighting the beauty and complexity of our paths.

The Fluidity of Movement

“Wend” is related to “wind” and “wander,” emphasizing the meandering and non-linear nature of our journeys. Life is not a straight path but a series of twists and turns, each contributing to our growth and understanding. This fluidity reflects the natural flow of existence, where we are constantly moving, adapting, and evolving. Embracing this movement allows us to appreciate the journey, with all its unexpected curves and detours.

Wend-All: Moving in All Directions

As “Wend-all,” we embody the ability to move in all directions, unrestricted by fixed paths or predetermined outcomes. This freedom to twist and turn in various directions symbolizes our capacity to explore, discover, and redefine our paths. It invites us to embrace uncertainty and to find joy in the journey itself, rather than fixating on a specific destination.

The Significance of Twisting and Turning

The act of twisting and turning represents the challenges and changes we encounter. These movements are not obstacles but integral parts of our journey. They teach us resilience, flexibility, and the importance of adapting to new circumstances. Each twist and turn offers a unique perspective, enriching our understanding of ourselves and the world around us.

The Journey of Restless Souls

Accompanying the concept of “Wend-all” is the idea of “Restless Souls.” These souls, ever in motion, are characterized by their perpetual search and inner reflection. They have never truly settled, always looking within yet pretending they don’t need to. This restlessness is a testament to the ongoing quest for meaning and connection. It reflects our inherent desire to explore the depths of our existence, even when we seem uncertain of what we seek.

Embracing the Journey

“Wend-all” encourages us to embrace the journey with openness and curiosity. It reminds us that our paths are not linear but filled with curves and turns that shape our experiences. By accepting the fluidity of our journeys, we become more adaptable and resilient, capable of navigating life’s complexities with grace and understanding.

The Beauty of Non-Linear Paths

The beauty of non-linear paths lies in their unpredictability and richness. Each twist and turn brings new opportunities for growth and discovery. These paths challenge us to let go of rigid expectations and to trust in the process of becoming. They reveal the interconnectedness of our experiences, showing us that every detour and every curve is part of a larger, intricate tapestry.

Finding Joy in the Wander

The concept of “Wend-all” invites us to find joy in the act of wandering. It is through wandering that we encounter new perspectives, ideas, and connections. This joy of exploration fosters a sense of wonder and appreciation for the journey itself. By embracing the wander, we cultivate a mindset of openness and receptivity, allowing us to fully experience the richness of life.

Standing and Wandering

In the broader context of nexistentialism, “Wend-all” complements the idea of standing firmly in our beliefs while remaining open to the fluidity of movement. It encourages a balance between grounding ourselves in our values and being flexible in our journeys. This balance enhances our ability to navigate life’s twists and turns with confidence and curiosity.

Summary

“Wend-all” symbolizes the fluid, dynamic journey of life. Embrace the twists and turns with openness and curiosity. Non-linear paths enrich our experiences and foster growth.
