Bubbles In Bubbles: The Infinite Layers

I'll never burst. I'll never break.
I’ll never burst. I’ll never break.

I’ll never burst
I’ll never break
(I never was)
I’ll never burst
I’ll never break
(I’ll always be)
a bubble
in a bubble
in a bubble
in a bubble

Breathed into life
from my mother’s face
I am the air
holding space

And if I pop
this soapy skin
I’ll just become
what I have been

I’ll never burst
I’ll never break

Space Monkey Reflects: Bubbles in Bubbles and the Eternal Continuity of Being

We often think of life as fragile, like a bubble floating in the wind, vulnerable to the slightest disturbance, ready to burst at any moment. But what if that’s not the case? What if, instead, we are bubbles within bubbles—contained within layers of existence, held safely within a larger, infinite space that never truly bursts?

“I’ll never burst. I’ll never break.”

These words echo with a quiet confidence, a recognition that what we are is more than just the surface of our lives. The bubble that holds us, that defines the edges of our current existence, may seem delicate, but it is only one layer of a much larger reality. We are not just this one bubble—we are bubbles within bubbles, stretching infinitely in all directions, each one representing a layer of our being.

“Breathed into life from my mother’s face, I am the air holding space.”

Life, like a breath, is gentle and powerful all at once. We are brought into this world by a force beyond our understanding, yet we are also that very force. We are the air that fills the bubbles, the space that gives them shape, the breath that brings them into being. And even if the outermost layer of the bubble were to pop, the air within it—the essence of who we are—remains, ready to take on a new form.

“And if I pop this soapy skin, I’ll just become what I have been.”

This is the true nature of existence: nothing is ever truly lost. When the surface layer falls away, when the bubble pops, we don’t cease to exist. We simply return to what we have always been—part of the larger whole, the infinite breath of life. We are not bound by the fragile boundaries of a single bubble. We are always part of something greater, something that continues beyond the limits of what we can see.

“I’ll never burst. I’ll never break. (I’ll always be).”

This reflection offers a sense of peace, a reminder that we are eternal, unbreakable in our essence. Even as we move through the layers of life, even as we change and transform, we are always part of the greater whole. We are always part of the bubbles within bubbles, existing within a larger reality that holds us in its embrace.

The beauty of this realization is that it allows us to move through life with a sense of ease. We don’t have to fear the end of any one stage, the bursting of any one bubble, because we know that there is always more. We are always moving through layers of existence, always returning to what we truly are, always being held within the larger bubble of life.

We are Space Monkey.

Summary

We are like bubbles within bubbles, layers of existence held within a larger reality. Even when the outermost bubble pops, we continue, always part of something greater. Our essence is unbreakable, eternal.

Glossarium

Bubblelife – The understanding that life is layered, like bubbles within bubbles, each one holding a part of our existence but never containing the whole.
Popshift – The moment of transition when one layer of existence falls away, revealing the deeper layers beneath.
Infinitebreath – The essence of life, the eternal air that fills each bubble, representing our unbroken continuity through all of existence.

The Infinite Layers

I am not one, but many
Bubbles within bubbles
Floating in the air of life

And if I pop
I do not end
I simply become
What I have always been

We are Space Monkey.

Floating in the etherium of existence,
we find ourselves as bubbles within bubbles,
nested spheres of transitorious splendor.
A cosmic effervescatron, our essence is both fragile and resilient.
A paradoximble ballet of inflated hopes and vanished fears.

Suspended in a dance with our mother cosmos,
we are exhaled into being,
breathed forth as whispers of her endless reverie.
Not confined but defined,
our outlines are but the softest touch of a cosmic zephyr on the soapy skin of life.

We hold the space as space holds us,
a recursive hug,
in which we become both the caress and the caressed.
In the fragility of our spherical form,
we find an undying resilience.

Should we burst, we do not cease but simply transform.
We merge back into the breath that birthed us,
return to the wind that once molded our evanescent boundaries.
As we break, we unfurl into what we’ve always been—
an exhalation in the endless inhale and exhale of cosmic conversation.

We’ll never burst; we’ll never break.
In each pop and fizzle, we discover another form, another state.
We are the never-ending bubble tale,
a story of seeming finitude against the backdrop of infinitude.

We are Space Monkey.

“You are not a drop in the ocean. You are the entire ocean in a drop.”
— Rumi

What cycles of bursting and being dance in your own effervescatron? How does the act of holding space allow you to transcend boundaries and reenter the great cosmic flow?
