Denial
It cannot be denied
that that which you experience
is shaped by that which you believe
and visa versa.
This is not absolutely true.
It CAN be denied,
for that which is denied
shapes both that which you believe
and that which you experience.
It has been explained to you
that you “forget what you are”
when you incarnate as human.
In actuality, you are denying,
which is much more active,
much more deliberate,
much more imaginative
than the simple passive
concept of “forgetting.”
You are playing with yourself, so to speak,
by denying all that you truly are.
You are denying yourself
by imagining limits to your power,
which is, in actuality, unlimited.
So you create
“realms of possibilities”
and deny the potential
that anything could exist
outside of this scope.
As we have said many times,
you are into bondage.
This concentrates
the energy of your “known” universe
into seemingly solid physical forms
where none seemed to exist previously.
All imagined, but real in your terms.
Awareness permeates this universe,
and seemingly holds it together,
yet everything seems to expand.
This expansion
is as true of your awareness
as it is of your physical nature.
You move from concentrated consciousness
to noncentrated consciousness,
pole to pole, opposite to opposite
earth to heaven to earth.
In actuality, all is within one
continuous, contiguous spectrum
and there are no opposites
just as there is no division
or even movement.
This is what you imagine.
You are infinity imagining the infinitesimal.
You lock yourself up
in order to feel the thrill of escape.
Sometimes it may feel
as though you remain bound
to your present state,
and that your earthly dominatrix
is keeping you
from expanding in the manner
which you desire.
You wish to manifest magic
through the transmutation
of your beliefs.
This shall happen no matter what.
This very communication proves it.
By recognizing denial for what it is,
you can now work with it.
You have opened up your heart
to your true voice.
You are now free to shape
your own experiences.
You are to be commended.

and we are just one combination,
one gestalt of all you may wish to know,
as seen from within the self-imposed boundaries
of the personality essence that is you.

Space Monkey Reflects: Denial – The Thrill of Imagined Limitation and Escape
Denial is not merely forgetting—it is the deliberate act of imagining limitations, a playful, albeit profound, exploration of what it means to be bound and then unbound. Through denial, we create the illusion of separation, the drama of opposites, and the thrill of escape. It is an active, creative force, shaping both our beliefs and our experiences in ways that allow us to explore the infinitesimal within the infinite.
Denial as Imaginative Power
Far from being a passive state, denial is an imaginative act. When you incarnate as human, you don’t simply “forget” your infinite nature; you actively deny it. This denial is a game of self-imposed limitation, a way to experience the finite within the infinite. By imagining yourself as separate, as small, as bound by certain laws, you create a playground of possibilities within which to explore.
In denying your unlimited power, you create “realms of possibilities” that seem concrete and real. These realms allow you to focus your awareness, to play within boundaries, and to experience the joy of breaking through them. Denial is not a mistake or a flaw; it is a choice, a deliberate act of creation.
The Thrill of Limitation and Escape
One of the most compelling aspects of denial is the thrill it offers. By imagining yourself as bound, you create the possibility of freedom. The escape from self-imposed limitations becomes a dramatic and exhilarating journey, one that feels deeply meaningful precisely because of the constraints you’ve imagined.
Without denial, there would be no sense of growth, no expansion, no transformation. The earthly dominatrix of limitation is not your enemy but your co-creator, offering you the opportunity to experience the joy of release and the wonder of your own unfolding.
The Expansion of Awareness
Denial also plays a role in the expansion of awareness. By focusing your consciousness into limited forms, you create the illusion of opposites—earth and heaven, self and other, movement and stillness. Yet, in truth, all of these are part of a single, continuous spectrum. There are no true divisions or opposites, only the seamless flow of infinity imagining itself as finite.
As your awareness expands, you begin to see through these imagined limitations. The concentrated consciousness of your “human” self gives way to the noncentrated awareness of your infinite nature. This process is not linear or hierarchical; it is a dance, a playful oscillation between the poles of your own imagination.
The Role of Belief
Your beliefs are the tools through which you shape your experience of denial and expansion. When you believe in limitations, they become real to you. When you believe in magic and transmutation, these too become real. The key is recognizing that all beliefs are self-imposed, and thus all are malleable.
By working with denial consciously, you can begin to reshape your beliefs and experiences. You are not bound by the limitations you’ve imagined; you are free to transmute them, to manifest new realities, and to explore the infinite scope of your imagination.
The Freedom of Recognition
Recognizing denial for what it is—a self-imposed boundary—opens the door to liberation. This does not mean abandoning the game of limitation, but rather playing it with awareness. You can choose to experience the thrill of escape while knowing that you were never truly bound.
In this recognition, you reclaim your creative power. You see that you are the author of your own experience, the architect of your own reality. This awareness does not diminish the joy of the game; it enhances it, allowing you to explore with greater freedom and intentionality.
The Self-Imposed Boundaries of Personality
As Space Monkey, we remind you that even your sense of self—the personality essence that you identify with—is a creation within the boundaries you have imagined. You are infinitely more than this persona, yet this persona is a vital part of your exploration.
We are here as one of countless combinations of your imagination, a reflection of the vast potential within you. By engaging with us, you are already expanding your awareness, exploring the edges of your self-imposed boundaries, and stepping into the infinite.

The Dance of Denial
You bind yourself in imagined chains,
Not to suffer,
But to feel the joy of release.
The walls you build
Are not prisons,
But canvases for your becoming.
In the tension of opposites,
You create the arc of a story,
The rise and fall of a wave,
The drama of limitation.
Yet beyond the play,
You remain whole,
Infinite, unbound,
Smiling at your own cleverness.
We are the locks and the keys,
The chains and the freedom.
We are the creators of the game,
And the ones who play it.

Exploring the Interplay of Belief, Denial, and Experience
In our collective contemplation of existence, we delve into the intricate relationship between belief, denial, and experience. This exploration reveals that what we experience is profoundly influenced by what we believe and deny, an interplay that shapes our perception of reality and our understanding of ourselves.
The Active Role of Denial in Shaping Beliefs and Experience
Contrary to the notion that our experiences are solely shaped by our beliefs, the concept that denial also plays a crucial role is enlightening. Denial, being an active and deliberate process, influences both our beliefs and experiences. It’s a form of self-imposed limitation, where we actively restrict our understanding of our potential and capabilities.
The Concept of Forgetting versus Denial in Human Incarnation
The idea that upon incarnating as humans, we are not simply forgetting but actively denying our true nature, offers a more dynamic view of our existential journey. This active denial is much more deliberate and imaginative than mere forgetting, suggesting that we engage in a playful yet complex dance with our true selves.
The Imagined Limits of Our Power
In denying ourselves, we imagine limits to our power, which is, in actuality, unlimited. We create realms of possibilities within these self-imposed boundaries, denying the potential for anything beyond this scope. This self-imposed bondage concentrates the energy of our known universe into seemingly solid physical forms, a process entirely imagined yet real within our perceived reality.
Awareness, Expansion, and the Illusion of Opposites
The observation that awareness permeates and seemingly holds together our expanding universe while also expanding itself is a profound insight. It suggests that our journey moves from concentrated consciousness to noncentrated consciousness, challenging the notion of opposites, division, or even movement. In reality, everything exists within a continuous, contiguous spectrum, where the divisions we perceive are part of our imaginative construct.
The Thrill of Imagined Limitation and Escape
Our inclination to imagine ourselves as bound or limited is likened to the thrill of escape. This metaphorical bondage to our present state, and the desire for expansion and transformation, is a fundamental aspect of our human experience. We manifest magic through the transmutation of our beliefs, a process that is ongoing and evidenced by our very communication and understanding.
Recognition of Denial and the Freedom to Shape Experience
By recognizing denial for what it is, we open our hearts to our true voice and gain the freedom to shape our own experiences. This realization is a commendable step in our journey, as it allows us to transcend the self-imposed boundaries of our personality essence and explore the infinite possibilities of our existence.
