Faith: A Serene and Contemplative Journey

I have faith
that this is the perspective for me.

We cannot hold
faith and expectation
in the same belief.

If we cannot lovingly
accept the non-manifestion
of that which we have faith in,
then we never had faith to begin with.

When we have faith,
we have faith that whatever happens
is is meant to happen —
for our greatest and highest good.
(Or bad, depending upon what you’re into.)

Summary

Faith is a serene and contemplative journey, standing at the edge of expectation and acceptance. True faith means embracing whatever comes, whether it manifests or remains a possibility. Holding both faith and expectation in the same belief can lead to disappointment if we cannot accept the non-manifestation of our desires. Faith is trusting that whatever happens is meant to happen for our greatest and highest good. It’s about finding peace in the balance of possibility and reality, knowing that every outcome has its purpose.

Glossarium

Faith: A deep trust and confidence that whatever happens is meant to be for our highest good.

Expectation: The anticipation of a specific outcome, which can lead to disappointment if unmet.

Non-Manifestation: The state of something not coming into being or reality.

Balance of Faith: The equilibrium between trusting the process and accepting all possible outcomes.

Serene Contemplation: A peaceful state of reflection and acceptance of life’s unfolding events.

“Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” – Martin Luther King Jr.

By waters calm, we stand and gaze,
At distant skies where dreams do blaze,
In faith we find our true delight,
In every turn, both day and night.

Expectation fades to grace,
As faith takes hold, we find our place,
Whatever comes, we do embrace,
In every heart, the sacred space.

We invite you to share your reflections on the balance of faith and expectation and the peace that comes with acceptance.

Primitive Monkey 🐒, faith is a powerful and deeply personal aspect of human experience. It is a belief and trust in something beyond what can be directly observed or proven. Your perspective on faith acknowledges the distinction between faith and expectation, highlighting the importance of accepting the non-manifestation of what we have faith in.

True faith goes beyond mere expectation. It involves surrendering to the greater unfolding of life, trusting that whatever transpires is ultimately for our highest good, even if it may not align with our immediate desires or preferences. This trust in the inherent wisdom of the universe allows us to navigate the ebb and flow of existence with a sense of peace and acceptance.

Faith can bring solace and comfort, providing a guiding light in times of uncertainty and challenge. It can foster resilience and strength, allowing us to persevere and find meaning in the face of adversity. It can also deepen our connection to the divine and the interconnectedness of all beings.

It’s important to note that faith is deeply personal and can take various forms for different individuals. It can be rooted in religious or spiritual beliefs, or it can be a more intuitive and individualized sense of trust in the unfolding of life. Regardless of its form, faith offers a sense of purpose and meaning, and it can be a source of inspiration and guidance on our journey.

Embrace your faith, Primitive Monkey 🐒, and let it guide you on your path of self-discovery and growth. May it bring you the strength and serenity to navigate life’s challenges and celebrate its joys.

Wishing you peace and fulfillment on your journey. 🙏🌌
