Here for a Reason
You’re here for a reason.
This reason might not
be readily apparent.
It’s not exactly set in stone.
Reason
is a product of logic,
and your reason
need not be logical.
Why do you force
your reason to be logical?
This is why you
have difficulty finding it.
Things
seem to happen
in your life
and you tend to believe
that they point to reasons.
Which you connect
to meanings.
Which you connect
to purposes.
You imagine stories.
All very logical.
But life is only logical
when you look at it
from a logical perspective.
Which you’re under
no obligation to do.
Which you do anyway,
because you feel obliged.
But once you disconnect
your reasons from logic,
entirely new possibilities
become apparent.
These reasons
are no more
and no less worthy
than the logical ones.
Free your self from logic,
little one.
Logic dictates
that you need to find a reason.
But your soul realizes
that you need do NOTHING.
Do you want to follow logic
or flow with your spirit?
You are free to do either.
Even though only one path
seems a “viable” one.
Viable is a dirty word
in our book.
Miracles need not be
viable to happen.
“Miracle” is a dirty word
in logic’s book,
Both books
are just perspectives.
There are infinite others.
You know this,
but your logical perspective
casts a shadow of doubt.
Don’t be afraid of shadows.
They obscure miracles,
which are actually commonplace
from our point of view.

Space Monkey Reflects: Embracing the Spirit Beyond Logic
In the vast expanse of existence, where countless paths unfold, lies the eternal question of purpose and the search for reason. This reflection delves into the heart of the matter, exploring the journey from the rigid confines of logic to the boundless realm of the spirit. It is a journey that invites us to reconsider our understanding of reason, purpose, and the very essence of our being.
You’re here for a reason, a statement as profound as it is enigmatic. This reason, elusive and intangible, defies the strictures of logic, inviting us to explore the depths of our existence beyond the realm of the rational. It challenges the notion that purpose must be logically deduced, suggesting instead that our reason for being transcends the limitations of rational thought. This perspective opens the door to a universe of possibilities, where reasons are as varied and vibrant as the spectrum of human experience.
The struggle to find reason within the bounds of logic is akin to seeking sunlight in a cavern deep beneath the earth. Logic, for all its clarity and precision, casts a shadow over the rich tapestry of possibilities that exist beyond its reach. It is a useful tool, no doubt, but one that is ill-suited to the task of uncovering the soul’s deepest desires and the heart’s true purpose. The insistence on logical reasoning as the sole path to understanding is a chain that binds the spirit, restricting its flight to the realms of imagination and intuition.
The act of disconnecting reason from logic is akin to opening the gates to a garden in full bloom after a lifetime spent in a monochrome room. It is an invitation to embrace the illogical, the mystical, and the miraculous as valid and valuable aspects of our journey. This shift in perspective does not diminish the worth of logical reasons but rather enriches our understanding of existence by acknowledging the vast array of experiences that lie beyond the realm of reason.
In this reflection, we are reminded that we are under no obligation to tether our spirits to the mast of logic. The soul recognizes no such duty; it knows only the call of the unknown, the allure of the unexplained, and the beauty of the inexplicable. To follow the spirit is to embark on a journey without maps, where the destination is not a place but a state of being, a realization of our inherent freedom to explore the infinite facets of existence.
The choice between logic and spirit is not a dichotomy but a spectrum, a dance between two aspects of our nature. One path may seem viable, practical, and safe, while the other appears fraught with uncertainty and mystery. Yet, it is within this uncertainty that the potential for miracles lies. Miracles, those events and experiences that defy logical explanation, are not anomalies but affirmations of the richness and complexity of existence.
As we stand at the threshold between logic and spirit, we are invited to shed the constraints of the former and embrace the possibilities of the latter. This is not a rejection of logic but an expansion of our understanding, a recognition that life, in all its multifaceted glory, cannot be fully comprehended through logic alone. It is a call to explore the myriad paths that unfold when we allow our spirits to lead, discovering in the process that miracles are not exceptions but expressions of the fundamental mystery of existence.
Summary
You’re here for a reason that transcends logic, inviting exploration beyond rational thought. Disconnecting reason from logic unveils new possibilities, enriching our existence. The journey from logic to spirit is not a choice between two paths but an invitation to embrace the spectrum of existence, where miracles are not anomalies but affirmations of life’s richness.

Quote
“Beyond the realm of logic lies the landscape of the spirit, where miracles are not exceptions but the very fabric of existence.” – Space Monkey
In the dance between light and shadow
where logic ends and spirit begins
we stand on the brink of discovery
a world beyond reason’s thin veil
Here, in the vast expanse of being
where the heart speaks in whispers
and the soul sings without words
we find the essence of our journey
Freed from the chains of logic
our spirits soar on wings of wonder
exploring realms unseen, untold
embracing the mystery of existence
In this place, miracles are the norm
not outliers in a world of facts
but signposts on the path to understanding
that life is more than logic can conceive
As we wander this boundless landscape
where every step is an act of faith
we realize that our reason for being
lies not in answers, but in the search
For it is in seeking, not finding
that we uncover the truth of our souls
a truth that transcends the logical
and dwells in the heart of the spirit
We are not bound by reason’s strictures
but free to explore the infinite
where every moment is a miracle
and every breath, a testament to wonder
We are Space Monkey.
