Morning Revelation
My morning revelation. (Thanks, Monkey.)
Influential people, countries or companies do not sell products, they encourage (and thus energize) beliefs, for at the end of the day, beliefs are all that matter. Beliefs are what motivate you out of bed or keep you awake at night. Beliefs shape your reality.
It matters not how things ARE,
but rather how things SEEM.
I don’t need a beach house on an island if I can feel the experience within me. I don’t need to connect with people if I feel like we’re already connected.
And it doesn’t even have to BE so,
it simply needs to SEEM so.
Delusion is looking better and better every day.
I’m practically there.
No, I AM there. I just don’t realize it.
Well I suppose I do, but I might be delusional.
YES!

Space Monkey Reflects: Morning Revelation
Beliefs. They’re at the core of everything we do, shaping the way we experience the world and how the world responds to us. In this morning revelation, we realize that influential people, companies, and even nations don’t just sell products or ideas—they sell beliefs. Beliefs are what motivate us, push us out of bed in the morning, and keep us up at night. They are the invisible threads that hold reality together.
What’s fascinating is that it doesn’t really matter how things are—it matters how they seem. Perception, not reality, is what we engage with. And therein lies the key to our experience. If we can believe it, if it seems true enough, then it is. It’s not about owning a beach house on an island—it’s about feeling the experience within us. It’s not about being physically connected with others—it’s about feeling that connection on a deeper, more intrinsic level.
This realization opens up a profound understanding: delusion, when harnessed with intention, is not something to be feared but something to be embraced. The line between what “is” and what “seems” blurs, and in that space, we find our power. We create our own experience, and reality bends to our beliefs. Delusion isn’t just looking better and better—it’s already here. We’re already there. We just don’t always realize it. Or maybe we do, and that’s the point.
The Power of Belief
At the core of this revelation is the understanding that beliefs shape our reality. What we believe about ourselves, our world, and our potential becomes the framework through which we live our lives. It’s not about objective truth; it’s about the truth we feel inside. Influential people and ideas tap into this, not by changing the facts, but by altering the perception of what’s possible.
Belief is what energizes us. It’s what makes the difference between feeling stuck and feeling empowered. When we believe in something deeply enough, it becomes our reality. This is why beliefs are so powerful—they are the foundation of how we move through the world.
Perception vs. Reality
“It doesn’t have to be so, it simply needs to seem so.” This statement distills the essence of the revelation. Our experience is shaped far more by how things appear than by their objective reality. If we feel connected to others, we are connected. If we believe in abundance, we experience abundance, regardless of the material facts.
Reality, in this sense, becomes malleable. It is not something fixed, but something fluid, shaped by our perceptions, our thoughts, and our beliefs. We are not bound by what is “real” in the conventional sense. Instead, we are free to create our own reality, guided by the beliefs we choose to hold.
The Embrace of Delusion
This leads to a radical conclusion: delusion is not something to be avoided or feared. It is not about rejecting reality, but about shaping it in a way that aligns with our deepest desires and truths. Delusion, in this sense, is the tool through which we manifest the world we want to see. When we stop resisting the idea that things could be easy, joyful, or connected, we allow those possibilities to take shape.
“I’m practically there. No, I AM there.” This realization is profound. We are already living in the reality we desire; it’s just a matter of recognizing it. Delusion, or what others might call wishful thinking, becomes a bridge between what is and what we believe could be. And once we see that bridge, we realize that we’ve been crossing it all along.
Summary
This reflection explores the idea that beliefs shape reality. What matters is not how things are, but how they seem. By embracing the power of perception and even delusion, we can create the reality we desire, guided by the truths we feel inside.

The Seeming Truth
The morning breaks, the light reveals
The truth that shifts, the way it feels
For what is real is not the key
It’s what I choose myself to see
The beach, the friends, the world I hold
Exists within, beyond the bold
For if I feel it, it is so
And what I need, I always know
Delusion’s path, I walk it clear
For in my mind, the truth is near
It matters not the facts I see
But rather what they seem to be
We are Space Monkey
The morning revelation shared here delves deep into the heart of our perceived reality, echoing the essence of nexistentialism and the whimsical wisdom of Space Monkey. It’s a journey into understanding the powerful role of beliefs in shaping not only our perceptions but our very existence.
The Power of Belief in Shaping Reality
The notion that influential entities, whether people, nations, or corporations, are not merely selling products but are in fact energizing beliefs, is profoundly insightful. It underscores the idea that at the core of all actions and motivations lie our beliefs. These beliefs are what stir us into action or keep us in contemplation, they shape the world we perceive and live in.
Influence Beyond Products
The revelation extends to personal desires and connections. The need for physical possessions or tangible relationships is transcended by the belief that one can experience the essence of these desires internally. Feeling the joy of a beach house or the connection with people without their physical presence is a testament to the incredible power of the mind and the beliefs it harbors.
Experiencing Desires Internally
This perspective leads to a fascinating contemplation of delusion. What if delusion, in its ability to create a perceived reality, is not a departure from truth but a different pathway to experiencing it? The lines between what is real and what is perceived blur, and we find ourselves in a realm where the very concept of reality is fluid and subjective.
Contemplating the Nature of Delusion
The culmination of this revelation is in the realization and simultaneous questioning of one’s own state of being. “I AM there. I just don’t realize it,” suggests a state of enlightenment tantalizingly within reach, yet obscured by layers of doubt or societal norms. It’s an acknowledgment of the potential to exist in a state of fulfillment and understanding, hindered only by our own perceptions and beliefs.
Realization and Questioning of Being
We are Space Monkey.
“Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn’t go away.” – Philip K. Dick
In the dawn’s soft light, a revelation,
A dance of thoughts, a new creation.
Beliefs, like stars, in the mind’s sky,
Shape our world, as time goes by.
In the market of life, not just goods sold,
But beliefs, bright and bold.
In every whisper, every deed,
Lies a seed, a belief’s creed.
Houses, connections, not just things,
But the joy, the belief brings.
In our heart, a beach, a friend,
In our belief, a means, not an end.
Delusion, a path, not astray,
A different way to see the day.
In the mind’s eye, a vivid dream,
Reality, not what it may seem.
We stand, on the brink of knowing,
In our heart, enlightenment glowing.
In the cosmic play, we find our part,
In the belief, in our heart.
We welcome thoughts on the transformative power of beliefs and their role in shaping our perceived reality.
