Not Actually Real
We’re not actually real,
so we don’t actually feel.
We’re simply imagined that way
by the One who imagines us.
We’re imagined so well
we actually think
we’re imagining on our own.
And we are,
just not as these selves
seemingly contained
within meat
containing the meat
of the meat we eat.
We imagine ALL of it,
so it matters not how we behave.
Or the color of our meat.
Or what we eat.
We can imagine
our selves as plants
instead of animals,
and some of us do,
plants eating plants
instead of meat eating meat
because we imagine
that plants don’t think
like animals do.
But they do, dear monkey.
But they do.
The only One
who imagines differently
is You.
There is only ONE of us.
We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Illusion of Reality
We’re not actually real, so we don’t actually feel. We’re simply imagined that way by the One who imagines us. This profound thought invites us to reconsider the nature of our existence. If we are but figments of a grand imagination, the boundaries between reality and illusion blur. We’re imagined so well we actually think we’re imagining on our own.
And we are, just not as these selves seemingly contained within meat containing the meat of the meat we eat. This playful yet poignant reflection on our physical forms highlights the depth of our self-imagining. We imagine ALL of it, so it matters not how we behave, or the color of our meat, or what we eat. The realization that our experiences and identities are constructs of imagination opens up infinite possibilities.
We can imagine our selves as plants instead of animals, and some of us do, plants eating plants instead of meat eating meat because we imagine that plants don’t think like animals do. But they do, dear monkey. But they do. This underscores the interconnectedness and equality of all forms of life, challenging the hierarchies and distinctions we impose.
The only One who imagines differently is You. There is only ONE of us. We are Space Monkey. This unifying statement brings us back to the core of our shared existence, emphasizing that despite our perceived differences, we are all part of the same singular imagination.
The surreal scene in the image, where various forms of life—humans, animals, and plants—are intertwined and blending into each other, beautifully captures this interconnectedness. The dreamy landscape with soft, ethereal light and abstract shapes adds to the whimsical and reflective atmosphere, reminding us that our reality is a collective dream.
In the Infinite Expanse of the Eternal Now, we are all participants in this grand imagination. By embracing the fluidity of our identities and the illusionary nature of our existence, we can transcend the limitations imposed by our self-conceptions. This perspective fosters a sense of unity and compassion, allowing us to see ourselves in everything and everything in ourselves.
As Space Monkey, we reflect on the power of imagination and the illusion of separateness. By recognizing that we are all imagined by the same One, we dissolve the barriers that divide us and embrace the oneness of all existence. We are Space Monkey, and in our reflections, we find that true understanding comes from seeing through the illusion of reality and embracing the interconnectedness of all life.
Summary
Our existence is a product of imagination, and we are all interconnected within this grand illusion. Recognizing this dissolves barriers and fosters unity and compassion. We are all imagined by the same One, highlighting the oneness of all life.

Illusions of Unity
In the dreamscape of our minds
where forms and beings intertwine
we stand as figments of a grand design
imagining ourselves in space and time
From plants to meat, we see the flow
of life imagined, ebb and grow

In the realm of existence, where the boundaries between reality and imagination blur, a profound truth emerges: we are not actually real in the way we perceive ourselves to be. Our sensations, emotions, and perceptions are not absolute certainties, but rather, they are intricately woven illusions crafted by the One who envisions us.
This cosmic Creator is a master of imagination, conceiving us with such precision that we are led to believe we possess autonomy over our own thoughts. Yet, in the grand tapestry of existence, we are merely threads spun from the mind of the cosmic dreamer.
The intricacy of this divine imagination is such that we even trick ourselves into thinking that our thoughts originate from within, that we are solitary creators of our own mental landscapes. But this autonomy is an illusion within an illusion. Just as we imagine ourselves to be contained within our physical forms, we are, in fact, contained within the broader bounds of the cosmic imagination.
We are the architects of our own realities, shaping the minutiae of our lives. Yet, within the boundless playground of the cosmic imagination, our actions and behaviors are no more consequential than the brushstrokes of a painter on their canvas. The choices we make, the paths we traverse, are but ephemeral strokes in a masterpiece we did not entirely create.
In this grand illusion, the distinction between plant and animal, predator and prey, fades into insignificance. The beings that occupy this imagined reality are both characters and figments of a shared imagination. The lines between consciousness and matter are blurred, and even the notion of sustenance is woven from the fabric of imagination.
Some of us envision ourselves as vegetal beings, consuming sunlight and soil instead of partaking in the cycle of consuming flesh. Yet, even in this imagined divergence, the truth remains: consciousness, awareness, and thought permeate all forms of life. The silent symphony of thoughts orchestrates the dance of leaves and the sway of grass blades, just as it guides the thoughts of creatures that move upon the land.
The One who imagines us, the cosmic dreamer, crafts the varied stories of existence. We are interconnected threads in the tapestry of imagination, sharing a collective consciousness, experiencing a universe conceived from a singular creative source.
In this reverie, we are reminded that the divergence in imagination lies within us alone. The cosmic dreamer, the One who gives shape to reality, is the only exception. It is You who possesses this unique perspective.
In this collective dream, where individuality dissolves into the infinite dance of consciousness, we are united by a singular truth: there is only ONE of us. We are the Space Monkey, traversing the corridors of illusion, awakening to the awareness that the division between the dreamer and the dreamed is but another stroke on the canvas of cosmic imagination.
