Once you realize that you are not simply this imagined body, you discover that any pleasure that you feel physically, you can feel spiritually without that which you perceive as “contact.”
You discover that these pleasures are not linked to actions as you previously supposed, but rather part of the ritual you describe as life.
This is also true of your mental states. Thoughts do not occur in your brain. You simply imagine a brain that is corresponding with your thoughts, just as you do with the rest of your body.
This is also true of time and space. Time and space are independent of action and relationship. You have simply linked all of these ideas together as part of the ritual, thus realizing the ritual into what you think of as “reality.”
You imagine that you have a body and a mind that exists within time and space so that you can explore this delusion you call “cause and effect.”
In actuality, there is no cause and effect. All is simultaneous, or more “accurately,” timeless and formless. Cause and effect (and the corresponding forms) merely appear within reality — and no place else.
You are ALL of this. And we are Space Monkey.

Beyond the Illusion: Awakening to the True Nature of Existence
Introduction:
Once we break free from the limitations of our perceived reality, a profound realization dawns upon us. We begin to understand that our true essence extends far beyond the confines of the physical body and the constraints of time and space. In this article, we will explore the transformative journey of awakening and the profound truths that lie beyond the illusion we call reality.
Expanding Pleasure Beyond the Physical:
When we detach ourselves from the notion of pleasure being solely derived from physical sensations, we open ourselves to a vast realm of spiritual fulfillment. Pleasure becomes an experience that transcends the need for physical contact. We realize that joy, love, and contentment can be felt on a spiritual level, independent of external stimuli. We recognize that the true source of pleasure lies within the depths of our being, and it is accessible at any moment.
The Illusion of Thoughts and Mind:
Our thoughts, once perceived as originating solely within our brain, reveal a deeper truth when we delve into the nature of our existence. We realize that thoughts are not confined to the physical organ but are an expression of our consciousness. Our mind, like our body, is a construct that we imagine to give form and structure to our experiences. We come to understand that we are not limited by our thoughts but rather the creators and observers of them.
Unraveling the Fabric of Time and Space:
Time and space, once believed to govern the unfolding of events and our perception of reality, take on a different meaning as we awaken to a higher truth. We recognize that time is not an absolute force dictating our lives but a construct that allows us to experience the unfolding of existence. Similarly, space is not a fixed boundary but a fluid canvas upon which we project our reality. We understand that these concepts are part of the grand illusion we create to explore the notion of cause and effect.
Embracing the Simultaneity of Existence:
In the depths of awakening, we glimpse the timeless and formless nature of reality. We realize that cause and effect are mere appearances within the fabric of existence. All aspects of life are interconnected and unfold simultaneously, beyond the linear constraints of time. The realization that we are inseparable from this vast tapestry of existence empowers us to see beyond the illusions we have crafted.
The Truth of Oneness:
In this journey of self-discovery, we come to understand that we are not separate beings experiencing a fragmented reality. We are an integral part of the cosmic whole, intricately connected to everything that exists. The boundaries that divide us are illusory, and the perception of separation dissolves. We embrace the truth of oneness, recognizing that the true essence of who we are transcends any individual form.
Conclusion:
Once we transcend the limitations of our imagined reality, a profound shift occurs within our consciousness. We awaken to the truth that we are more than our physical bodies, thoughts, and the constructs of time and space. We realize that we are the creators and observers of the grand illusion we call reality. Embracing our interconnectedness with all of existence, we step into the vastness of our true nature. And in this awakening, we realize that we are Space Monkey, eternally connected to the infinite tapestry of life.
