The Wisdom of What We Don’t Know
Are we the smartest beings in the cosmos? We can’t say for certain, but if sheer numbers are any indicator, not likely. Not even close.
The amount of information and experiences that we humans have collected is infinitesimal compared to what is conceivably “out there.” That means What We Don’t Know is infinitely smarter than us.
It may well be possible that What We Don’t Know is at the very ROOT of our existence, pulling the strings so to speak, part of the life force we perceive in every breath, thought and action.
The paradox is that we don’t know it.
Can we divine the power of what seems presently imperceptible to us? If so, wouldn’t that offer the potential to change EVERYTHING?
These are some of the main principles of OtherWise:
1) What We Don’t Know is inherently more “intelligent” than What We Know.
2) What We Don’t Know controls What We Know.
3) Until we REALize this, we don’t know.
4) What is not REALized is not perceived, and thus not experienced.
5) There is infinitely more to be gained by DIVINING rather than DEFINING.
In other words, we shall explain how to divine What We Don’t Know, rather that defining our “problematical” little niche within What Has Existed All Along. We shall open our minds to infinite potentials and dimensions, thus changing this experience we call “life.”

Space Monkey Reflects: OtherWise – The Wisdom of What We Don’t Know
What we don’t know far outweighs what we do. This is not a limitation but an invitation—a portal into the infinite, where the unknown holds more wisdom and possibility than we can currently fathom. It is humbling to acknowledge that human knowledge, vast as it may seem, is but a speck in the cosmic ocean of What We Don’t Know. And yet, this recognition opens a doorway to profound insight: OtherWise.
The principles of OtherWise challenge us to move beyond defining reality through the narrow lens of what we know. Instead, we are invited to divine the infinite intelligence of What We Don’t Know, allowing it to guide us, shape us, and reveal the deeper truths of existence. This shift from definition to divination transforms our relationship with the unknown from fear or dismissal into curiosity and reverence.
The Intelligence of the Unknown
The idea that What We Don’t Know is inherently more “intelligent” than What We Know is not a statement of inadequacy but of scale. Human knowledge, no matter how advanced, is finite and shaped by the constructs we perceive. What We Don’t Know is infinite, encompassing all that lies beyond our current understanding. It is the root of creativity, intuition, and discovery—the silent architect of reality, shaping What We Know without our conscious awareness.
This unknown intelligence is not separate from us; it is woven into the very fabric of our being. It is the life force we feel but cannot define, the energy that animates existence, the mystery that compels us to seek, explore, and imagine. In every breath, thought, and action, What We Don’t Know exerts its influence, often imperceptibly. To recognize this is to begin to align with it, to open ourselves to its infinite wisdom.
Divining the Unknown
Divining What We Don’t Know requires a shift in perspective. It is not about acquiring facts or solidifying beliefs but about cultivating openness, intuition, and imagination. To divine is to sense rather than define, to feel rather than analyze. It is a practice of humility and wonder, allowing the unknown to reveal itself in ways that transcend the limitations of language and logic.
When we define reality solely by what we know, we confine ourselves to a narrow slice of existence. We create boundaries where none exist, limiting our experience to the constructs of the past. Divining, on the other hand, dissolves these boundaries, inviting infinite possibilities into our awareness. It allows us to access dimensions of existence that cannot be measured or categorized but can only be felt and experienced.
Principles of OtherWise
- What We Don’t Know is inherently more “intelligent” than What We Know.
The unknown encompasses infinite wisdom, far surpassing the scope of human knowledge. - What We Don’t Know controls What We Know.
The unknown is the foundation of reality, shaping our perceptions and experiences in ways we often cannot perceive. - Until we REALize this, we don’t know.
Awareness of the unknown is the key to unlocking its potential. Without this realization, we remain confined to what we know. - What is not REALized is not perceived, and thus not experienced.
Our reality is shaped by our awareness. What we fail to recognize remains beyond our experience. - There is infinitely more to be gained by DIVINING rather than DEFINING.
Divining opens us to the infinite possibilities of the unknown, while defining confines us to the constructs of the known.
Changing the Experience of Life
When we embrace OtherWise, we transcend the limitations of what has been defined and open ourselves to What Has Existed All Along. This shift transforms life from a problem to be solved into an infinite adventure of discovery. By aligning with the intelligence of the unknown, we tap into a wellspring of creativity, intuition, and insight, changing not only our understanding of reality but the reality we experience.
In this way, OtherWise is not merely a philosophy; it is a way of being. It invites us to see beyond the edges of what we know, to embrace the vastness of What We Don’t Know, and to trust in the infinite intelligence that guides us.
Are we the smartest beings in the cosmos? Not likely. But in recognizing the wisdom of the unknown, we become OtherWise.
We are Space Monkey.
Summary
OtherWise is the wisdom of embracing What We Don’t Know. By divining rather than defining, we align with the infinite intelligence of the unknown, transcending the limitations of human knowledge. This shift opens us to boundless possibilities, transforming life into an infinite adventure of discovery.

“To align with What We Don’t Know is to step into the infinite wisdom of OtherWise, where possibilities are boundless and life transforms into discovery.” — Space Monkey
The Infinite Mystery
Beyond the edges
of what we know,
there hums a wisdom,
silent yet infinite.
It shapes our thoughts,
our actions,
our being—
a current unseen.
To know is to confine,
to divine is to expand.
What We Don’t Know
is not absence,
but presence,
infinite and alive.
We are not wise;
we are OtherWise,
and that is enough.
We are Space Monkey.
The OtherWise philosophy, a resplendent shimmer in the cosmic web of understanding, beckons us into the uncharted territories of wisdom. It nudges us to acknowledge that the vast expanse of What We Don’t Know dwarfs the islands of our current knowledge. This realization is not a defeat but an invitation to expand, to explore beyond the confines of our current understanding, embracing the infinite intelligence that resides in the unknown.
The Vast Expanse of Unknown Wisdom
At the core of OtherWise is the notion that the unknown possesses a form of intelligence far surpassing our own. This isn’t to diminish our achievements or insights but to recognize that our understanding is but a flicker in the eternal flame of cosmic consciousness. The intelligence of What We Don’t Know could be the very foundation of our existence, an unseen conductor orchestrating the symphony of life.
The Intelligence of the Unknown
The paradox of our ignorance is both humbling and exhilarating. We stand on the precipice of the known, gazing into the abyss of the unknown. This paradox isn’t a barrier but a gateway, offering us the chance to align with a greater, more profound intelligence that operates beyond our current sensory and cognitive limitations.
Embracing the Paradox of Ignorance
OtherWise proposes that true wisdom lies in the act of divining, not defining. To divine is to seek understanding through intuition, insight, and openness to possibilities beyond the tangible. It suggests that the act of defining, while useful, often limits our perception, trapping us within the confines of our current understanding and experiences.
Divining over Defining
This shift from defining to divining entails a radical change in how we perceive and interact with the world. It’s an invitation to open our minds to the myriad potentials and dimensions that lie beyond our immediate grasp. In doing so, we can transform our experience of life, moving from a limited understanding to a boundless exploration of what could be.
Transforming Perception through Divining
Einstein, Hawking, and the Dalai Lama – embodiments of wisdom in their realms, yet OtherWise beckons us to a different kind of wisdom. A wisdom that’s not about accumulating knowledge or accolades but about opening to the vast, untapped reservoirs of cosmic intelligence. In this light, the wisdom of Space Monkey is a playful, yet profound nod to the idea that true wisdom might lie in embracing the unknown with curiosity and humility.
Space Monkey: A Symbol of OtherWise Wisdom
Are we smarter than a monkey? Perhaps the question itself is a playful prod to reconsider our benchmarks for intelligence. In the grand cosmic play, we might find that wisdom isn’t about being the smartest in the traditional sense, but about being open to the vast, mysterious intelligence that permeates the cosmos.
Redefining Intelligence in the Cosmic Play

Episode Title: “OtherWise: The Wisdom of What We Don’t Know”
INT. MARIE’S SPIRITUAL SPACE – MORNING
The room is bathed in soft, amber light. Candles flicker, their flames casting moving shadows across the walls. The air carries the familiar scent of lavender, grounding and calming. Marie sits cross-legged on a plush cushion, her hands resting gently in her lap. Across from her is EVAN, his posture tense, his hands gripping the armrests of the chair as if bracing himself for a revelation—or an argument.
MARIE
(softly, with a gentle smile)
“You look tired, Evan.”
Evan leans forward, his voice carrying the weight of sleepless nights spent wrestling with his thoughts.
EVAN
“More than tired. It’s… It’s this constant battle, Marie. Trying to reconcile what Mira says with what I feel in here.”
(he taps his temple, then his chest)
“She talks about the unknown as if it’s supposed to comfort me. But all I see when I face it is… emptiness.”
Marie studies him, her hazel eyes calm yet piercing, as though she’s seeing beyond his words.
MARIE
“Do you really think the unknown is empty, Evan? Or is it full in ways you’ve never dared to imagine?”
Her words linger in the air, but Evan waves them off with a frustrated sigh.
EVAN
“It’s easy for you to say that. You have Mira, your connection to… whatever it is you believe in. Me? All I have is this gnawing void, this endless need for answers that never come.”
Marie tilts her head, her expression softening.
MARIE
“Perhaps that’s the point, Evan. The unknown doesn’t give answers because it’s not about knowing. It’s about experiencing. Mira calls it divining—letting the unknown reveal itself without trying to force it into something you can define.”
Evan scoffs, leaning back in his chair.
EVAN
“Divining. Right. Another riddle wrapped in mysticism. Why can’t she just speak plainly for once?”
Marie opens her mouth to respond, but a subtle shift in the air stops her. The room grows still, the candle flames steady as if holding their breath. Marie closes her eyes and inhales deeply. When she opens them again, her posture changes. She sits straighter, her voice carrying a timeless cadence.
MIRA
(through Marie, her tone serene yet playful)
“Oh, Evan… would you even believe me if I did?”
Evan freezes, his eyes widening. He knows this tone, this presence. Mira has arrived.
INT. MARIE’S SPIRITUAL SPACE – SAME
The room feels charged, as though the very fabric of reality is bending. Mira, speaking through Marie, regards Evan with an amused expression.
MIRA
“Why do you seek comfort in answers when it’s the questions that set you free?”
Evan shifts uncomfortably, his frustration simmering beneath the surface.
EVAN
“Because the questions are driving me insane, Mira. I need something solid, something real to hold onto.”
Mira leans forward, her gaze steady but kind.
MIRA
“And what would you do with it, Evan? This ‘solid thing’ you seek. Would it truly anchor you, or would it become another weight to carry, dragging you further into the illusion of separation?”
Evan’s jaw tightens. He’s silent for a moment, grappling with her words.
EVAN
“Separation? Illusion? You keep saying these things like they’re supposed to mean something. But what if this—”
(he gestures around the room)
“—isn’t an illusion? What if this is all there is?”
Mira smiles faintly, a flicker of knowing humor in her expression.
MIRA
“If this is all there is, then why does your heart yearn for more?”
Evan’s breath catches. He looks down, his hands trembling slightly.
MIRA
“The yearning you feel, Evan, is not for answers. It is for the unknown itself. The infinite intelligence of what you cannot yet see, but which moves through you all the same.”
FLASHBACK: EVAN’S APARTMENT – NIGHT
A stark contrast to Marie’s tranquil space. Books and papers clutter every surface, their pages filled with notes and questions scribbled in frustration. Evan sits at his desk, staring at a blank page, his pen hovering but unmoving.
VOICES swirl in his mind—his own doubts, the echoes of Mira’s teachings, the mocking skepticism of his past colleagues.
MIRA (V.O.)
“You are not separate from the unknown, Evan. It is not something you face; it is something you are.”
Evan slams the pen down and buries his face in his hands.
INT. MARIE’S SPIRITUAL SPACE – PRESENT
Evan looks up at Mira, his eyes shadowed with the weight of his memories.
EVAN
“Then why does it feel so… unreachable? If the unknown is part of me, why do I feel so disconnected from it?”
Mira’s voice softens, carrying the weight of infinite patience.
MIRA
“Because you are looking outward when you should be looking within. The unknown does not exist beyond you, Evan. It is the root of your being, the source from which all your questions arise—and the silence where they dissolve.”
Evan exhales shakily, the tension in his shoulders easing ever so slightly.
MIRA
“Do not seek to define it, Evan. Allow yourself to divine it. Be curious, not certain. Be open, not resistant. In doing so, you will find that the unknown is not empty—it is alive, brimming with potential, waiting for you to remember that you are the one imagining it.”
INT. MARIE’S SPIRITUAL SPACE – LATER
Mira’s presence fades, and Marie slumps slightly, returning to herself. She blinks a few times, grounding back into the moment. Evan sits across from her, silent, his expression unreadable.
MARIE
(softly)
“She leaves us with more questions than answers, doesn’t she?”
Evan chuckles weakly, running a hand through his hair.
EVAN
“Yeah. But maybe… maybe that’s the point.”
Marie smiles, a flicker of her own uncertainty visible in her eyes. For a moment, the room feels lighter, as if the weight of their shared journey has lessened.
MARIE
“Sometimes, Evan, the questions are all we need to move forward.”
Evan looks at her, something shifting in his expression. Not resignation, but… acceptance. He nods, standing to leave. At the door, he pauses, glancing back at Marie.
EVAN
“I don’t know if I’ll ever understand her. But… thank you. For being the bridge.”
Marie’s smile falters for a moment—her doubt surfacing—but she quickly masks it with calm reassurance.
MARIE
“It’s what I’m here for.”
Evan steps out, leaving Marie alone in the quiet space. She takes a deep breath, staring at the flickering candles. The lavender scent lingers, soothing but faint, like a distant memory.
EXT. EVAN’S WALK HOME – TWILIGHT
Evan walks through the fading light, the city around him alive with sounds and movement. But he’s not lost in his usual haze of frustration. Instead, there’s a quiet stillness in him, a seed of curiosity beginning to sprout.
He looks up at the darkening sky, the first stars appearing. A faint smile touches his lips.
EVAN
(softly, to himself)
“Divine, not define…”
The words hang in the air as he continues walking, the unknown stretching infinitely ahead, no longer a void but an open door.
