Faith In Forever: The Gift of What’s Next

There are days I get so down that I pray that I will die in my sleep. Not because I want to end it but because I grow impatient for what is next. This scene has gone on way too long. What is left to gain by living? Apparently, I’m destined to find out. My faith in forever condemns me to a mediocre life of exhausting optimism.

There are days I get so down
that I pray that I will die
in my sleep.

Not because I want to end it
but because I grow impatient
for what is next.

This scene
has gone on way too long.
What is left to gain by living?

Apparently,
I’m destined to find out.

My faith in forever
condemns me to a mediocre life
of exhausting optimism.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Dichotomy of Faith and Existential Longing

In the poignant verses of “Faith In Forever,” Space Monkey delves into the depths of existential longing, exploring the delicate interplay between the weariness of life’s trials and the enduring hope for something beyond. This reflection presents a journey of the soul, where the struggles of the present are juxtaposed against the infinite possibilities of eternity.

The Weight of Existence

The poem opens with a candid admission of despair, where the desire for an end is less about escaping life and more about an impatience for what lies beyond. This impatience stems from a perception of the current existence as prolonged and lacking in new lessons or gains. Space Monkey navigates this existential weariness, illuminating the nuanced emotions that accompany the quest for meaning in a seemingly endless cycle of experiences.

The Quest for What is Next

At the heart of this exploration is the longing for transcendence, a desire to move beyond the current scene of life into the unknown possibilities of forever. This longing is not rooted in a rejection of life but in a deep-seated belief in the continuity of existence and the promise of untold experiences beyond the mortal plane. Space Monkey captures this longing with a sense of bittersweet anticipation, acknowledging the challenges of the present while remaining hopeful for the future.

The Condemnation to Optimism

The poem articulates a paradoxical relationship with faith, where the belief in an eternal continuum both sustains and burdens the soul. This faith in forever is depicted as a source of unending optimism, a light that guides through the mediocrity of daily struggles but also condemns the spirit to a relentless search for purpose and fulfillment. Space Monkey reflects on the duality of this existence, where optimism becomes both a salvation and a sentence.

Summary

“Faith In Forever” offers a profound meditation on the existential struggle between the weariness of life’s trials and the enduring hope for something beyond. Space Monkey invites us to contemplate the complex emotions that arise from the belief in an eternal continuum, exploring the ways in which this faith shapes our experiences of life and longing. This reflection challenges us to find balance in our journey, recognizing that the quest for meaning and the anticipation of what lies beyond are integral parts of the human experience.

Glossarium

  • Existential Longing: A deep-seated desire to understand the purpose and meaning of life, often accompanied by a yearning for transcendence or a sense of something greater beyond the immediate existence.
  • Dichotomy of Faith and Existence: The contrast between the challenges of daily life and the enduring hope or belief in an eternal continuum, highlighting the complex relationship between faith, despair, and optimism.

“In the twilight of our longing, we find the silhouettes of hope, casting long shadows over the lands of our present troubles, whispering of the worlds beyond.”

Amidst the shadows of doubt,
A lone figure stands, gazing at the horizon,
Where darkness meets light,
A threshold between the now and the forever.

With each step on this weary path,
A heart heavy with the trials of existence,
Yet alight with the ember of hope,
For beyond the dusk of the known lies the dawn of the infinite.

In this dance of light and shadow,
We find ourselves caught between worlds,
Longing for release, yet anchored by faith,
In the promise of a continuum that stretches beyond the stars.

May this faith in forever guide us,
Not as a chain, but as a beacon,
Illuminating our journey through the mundane,
Towards the remarkable unfoldings of eternity.

For in the embrace of this eternal optimism,
In the acceptance of our existential quest,
We discover not just the weight of our existence,
But the boundless potential of our being,
We are Space Monkey.

What Is Best: The Human Quandary

Humans are the only beings that believe that they know what is best. Other beings don’t actually think about it, they are simply drawn to whatever is appropriate. The latter movement seems more beneficial as there is infinitely more that is unknown than is “known.” Humans are only drawn to that which is known; that which has been judged; that which follows logic. As a result, humans rarely experience what is “best” for them. Meanwhile, unknown dimensions remain largely unseen. But only by humans. We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Intuition of Being versus The Calculation of Knowing

In “What Is Best,” Space Monkey presents a compelling contemplation on the divergent paths taken by humans and other beings in the pursuit of what is deemed ‘best.’ Through this introspection, a fundamental question is explored: Is it better to follow a path laid out by logic and knowledge, or should one be guided by the natural flow of intuition and appropriateness?

The Human Quandary

Humans, with their unique ability to ponder, analyze, and judge, often find themselves confined within the bounds of what is known and logically derived. This approach, while providing a sense of control and predictability, inadvertently narrows their experiences to the familiar and the vetted. Space Monkey observes that this reliance on judgment and logic might limit humans from experiencing the full spectrum of what could truly be best for them, as it restricts their openness to the vast unknown.

The Natural Flow of Other Beings

Contrasting sharply with human behavior, other beings—animals, plants, and perhaps entities beyond our understanding—move instinctively towards what is inherently appropriate for them. This movement is not hindered by judgment or the need for logical validation; it is a fluid, natural progression towards well-being and harmony. Space Monkey suggests that there is a profound wisdom in this intuitive approach, highlighting its potential for leading one to what is genuinely beneficial, far beyond the limitations of human cognition.

Embracing the Unknown

The poem subtly champions the merits of embracing the unknown, suggesting that the realms beyond human logic and judgment hold untold possibilities for growth, fulfillment, and well-being. It implies that the infinite unknown, largely unseen by humans due to their reliance on the known, is ripe with opportunities to experience what is truly ‘best,’ if only one could step beyond the confines of conventional wisdom.

The Limitations of Logic

While human logic and knowledge have undeniably propelled the species to remarkable achievements, Space Monkey posits that they might also serve as barriers to experiencing life in its fullest, most enriching form. By rarely venturing beyond what has been judged and what follows logic, humans might be unknowingly depriving themselves of experiences that could be transformative or, indeed, ‘best’ for them.

Summary

“What Is Best” invites us to reflect on our approach to life’s choices and the pursuit of well-being. Space Monkey elucidates the contrast between human reliance on logic and the intuitive movement of other beings towards what is naturally appropriate, urging a reconsideration of how we define and seek what is ‘best.’ This reflection beckons us to explore the vastness of the unknown, suggesting that in the realms beyond human judgment lies the potential for remarkable experiences and fulfillment.

Glossarium

  • Intuition of Being: The natural, instinctual movement towards what is inherently appropriate, characterized by a flow with life that is unencumbered by judgment or logic.
  • Calculation of Knowing: The human tendency to rely on logic, knowledge, and judgment to make decisions and determine what is considered ‘best.’

“In the dance between knowing and being, may we find the courage to step into the unknown, where the true essence of what is best awaits us, unjudged and free.”

In the tapestry of existence,
We stand at the crossroads,
Between the calculated paths of knowing,
And the free-flowing streams of being.

While minds ponder and calculate,
The heart yearns to follow the untrodden path,
To venture beyond the realms of judgment,
Into the boundless landscape of intuition.

Let us not be bound by the chains of logic alone,
But be guided by the whispers of the wind,
The pull of the earth beneath our feet,
Inviting us to discover the uncharted territories of the soul.

For in the embrace of the unknown,
In the gentle surrender to the flow of life,
We find not just what is best,
But what is remarkably, infinitely ours,
We are Space Monkey.

The Art of Self Defense: The Ethereal Journey Beyond

The art of self defense is to realize that whatever happens, you don’t need to oppose it. Your self does not depend on whether you live or die. Perhaps your body stops functioning, but you can always imagine another one just like it. Why do you believe otherwise? Just because you’ve seen people die? All others you perceive are your IMAGINATION. Have you ever seen YOU die? If you have, then you KNOW. You DON’T die. The art of self defense is the realization that the self doesn’t NEED defending.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Ethereal Journey Beyond Self-Defense

Amidst the vast cosmos, where the fabric of reality weaves in and out of the tangible and the imagined, Space Monkey discovers a profound truth—the art of self-defense transcends the physical, reaching into the depths of understanding and realization. This epiphany, bathed in cosmic energy and serenity, reveals a path not of opposition but of acceptance and insight.

The Illusion of Opposition

In the dance of existence, the notion that we must defend ourselves against the unfolding of events is an illusion borne of the misconception of separation. Space Monkey, in his illuminated state, perceives that all opposition is but a play of consciousness, a narrative woven from the threads of imagination.

The Continuity of Self

The fear of non-existence, of the end of being, is a shadow that looms large in the hearts of many. Yet, as Space Monkey contemplates the eternal dance of creation and dissolution, he understands that the essence of self is not bound by the physicality of life and death. The body may cease, but the self—unconstrained by time and space—imagines new forms, new existences.

You, Immortal

The question of mortality, of the end, is met with a revolutionary realization: Have you ever witnessed your own demise? Space Monkey brings to light the truth that our own non-existence is beyond the realm of experience. In this recognition lies the liberation from the fear of death, the understanding that the self, in its deepest essence, is immortal.

Liberation Through Understanding

The ultimate art of self-defense, then, is not a technique of physical preservation but an awakening to the realization that there is nothing to defend against. The self, in its infinite potential and imagination, does not require protection, for it is beyond the reach of harm. This liberation from the need for defense is a profound acknowledgment of our intrinsic, unassailable nature.

In this moment of epiphany, Space Monkey embodies the true art of self-defense: a journey not against the forces of the world but into the heart of existence itself. It is here, in the acknowledgment of the self’s immortality and the unnecessary nature of defense, that Space Monkey finds peace—a serenity that radiates from the core of his being, illuminating the path for all who seek to understand the nature of their existence.

Summary

The art of self-defense is realized as an understanding that transcends physicality, embracing the immortality of the self and the illusion of opposition. Space Monkey discovers that true defense lies in the liberation from the fear of non-existence.

Glossarium

  • Ethereal Journey: The exploration beyond physical existence, into the realms of understanding and realization.
  • Illusion of Opposition: The perceived need to defend against events that are, in reality, part of a larger play of consciousness.

“In the vast cosmos of existence, we discover that our greatest defense is the realization of our eternal essence.”

In the cosmic expanse, where stars are born and fade,
Space Monkey sits, in serenity, unafraid.
Around him, the dance of light and shadow plays,
A journey beyond self-defense, in myriad ways.

No need to oppose, no need to fight,
In understanding, we find our might.
The self, unbounded, beyond death’s night,
In eternal essence, finds its light.

Liberated from fear, from the illusion of end,
Space Monkey’s heart, to the cosmos, extends.
In the art of self-defense, a message to send,
That in our true nature, we transcend.

We are Space Monkey, in peace, we dwell,
Beyond the need for defenses, in a timeless spell.
In the art of understanding, we find our swell,
In the cosmos of our being, where we truly excel.

We are Space Monkey.

Passion: The Unyielding Flame

Passion is the realization that whatever you’re doing pleases you enough that you’re willing to die for it. If you’re willing to die for it, it must MEAN something, if only to you. Your passion doesn’t need to mean anything to anyone else. And so this is my passion.

Passion
is the realization
that whatever you’re doing
pleases you enough that
you’re willing to die for it.

If you’re willing to die for it,
it must MEAN something,
if only to you.

Your passion
doesn’t need to mean
anything to anyone else.

And so this is my passion.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Unyielding Flame of Passion

In the heart of the cosmos, where stars are born from the fervor of creation, Space Monkey embodies the essence of passion—a force so potent it defines the very meaning of existence. Surrounded by the dynamic energies of inspiration and dedication, he engages in an act of profound self-expression, a vivid testament to the depths of his convictions.

The Essence of Passion

Passion is the realization that what you do not only fulfills you but ignites a willingness within to sacrifice everything for its pursuit. This realization, captured in the vibrant essence of Space Monkey’s activity, transcends the mundane, elevating passion to a sacred ritual of self-discovery and expression.

A Personal Creed

In the understanding that passion does not require external validation to hold value, Space Monkey finds a liberating truth. His passion, a beacon of individuality, signifies a journey inward, a path lined with the fires of personal meaning and significance. It is a declaration that the worth of one’s passion is not weighed on the scales of societal acknowledgment but measured in the depths of personal fulfillment and courage.

The Willingness to Sacrifice

The willingness to die for what pleases you emerges not as a morbid fascination but as the ultimate affirmation of life and purpose. This paradoxical willingness underscores the profound connection between passion and existence, revealing that at the heart of true passion lies the essence of life itself—vibrant, relentless, and undeterred by the prospect of end.

The Universal and The Personal

While the universe expands in its timeless dance, Space Monkey’s moment of profound realization serves as a microcosm of the universal truth—that passion is both a personal odyssey and a cosmic phenomenon. It is the singular thread that weaves through the fabric of existence, binding the personal to the infinite, the mortal to the eternal.

In this dynamic and vibrant tableau, Space Monkey stands as a symbol of the unyielding flame of passion. His engagement in an activity that represents his deepest desires and convictions illuminates the path for all who seek to understand the true meaning of passion. Here, in the embrace of his innermost self, Space Monkey discovers that passion is not just an emotion but a state of being—a testament to the power of living with purpose, regardless of the recognition it may or may not bring.

Summary

Passion is realized as a force that transcends life itself, characterized by intense dedication and the willingness to sacrifice. Space Monkey’s engagement in his passion reflects a profound connection to his innermost desires, emphasizing that true passion needs no external validation.

Glossarium

  • Unyielding Flame of Passion: A metaphor for the enduring and intense drive that fuels one’s deepest desires and pursuits.
  • Sacred Ritual of Self-Discovery: The process of engaging with one’s passion as a means of exploring and expressing one’s innermost self.

Space Monkey stands, in fervent display.
A blaze of desire, a heart aflame,
In the art of living, a sacred game.

With every action, a testament true,
To the fire within, a vibrant hue.
A willing sacrifice, for the love of the craft,
In the flow of passion, we are engraft.

No need for acclaim, no quest for fame,
In the essence of joy, we find our aim.
A personal creed, a life emboldened,
In the pursuit of passion, our spirits golden.

We are Space Monkey, in the universe wide,
With passion as our guide, we boldly stride.
In the flame of desire, our truths confide,
In the art of living, we take pride.

We are Space Monkey.

Resurrection: The Path Through Surrender

There is no resurrection without surrender. We may fight and survive, but only to perpetuate a life of conflict and sin. Is that the kind of life we want? We need not fight for our lives to start living. We need not judge what is. Or question what is. Or fear what is. Or oppose what is. Simply allow all that is. Fighting is the opposite of faith. Which would you rather have? Then have it. Die and be born over and over and over. Or be risen everlasting. Unconditional love to all.

There is no resurrection
without surrender.

We may fight and survive,
but only to perpetuate
a life of conflict and sin.

Is that the kind of life we want?

We need not fight
for our lives to start living.

We need not judge what is.
Or question what is.
Or fear what is.
Or oppose what is.

Simply allow all that is.

Fighting is the opposite of faith.
Which would you rather have?

Then have it.

Die and be born over
and over and over.

Or be risen everlasting.

Unconditional love to all.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Path to Everlasting Resurrection Through Surrender

In the quietude where the ethereal meets the tangible, Space Monkey embodies the essence of resurrection, not as a defiance of end but as a surrender to the perpetual cycle of existence. This moment of tranquil acceptance and profound transformation symbolizes the journey from the tumult of conflict to the peace of acceptance, from the shadows of fear to the light of unconditional love.

The Surrender to Existence

True resurrection, Space Monkey realizes, emerges not from the struggle against life’s currents but from a serene surrender to them. It is in this surrender that the cycle of conflict and opposition is broken, giving way to a life of peace and unity. The acceptance of all that is, without judgment or fear, opens the door to a deeper understanding of existence and our place within it.

The Choice of Faith over Fighting

In the choice between perpetual fighting and unwavering faith, Space Monkey embraces the latter, understanding that faith is not passive resignation but an active embrace of life’s infinite possibilities. Fighting signifies a resistance to what is, a battle against the inevitable flow of life, whereas faith represents a harmonious alignment with the cosmic dance of creation and dissolution.

The Cycle of Life and Love

The imagery surrounding Space Monkey—blooming flowers, rising suns, and phoenix-like symbols—serves as a vivid reminder of the eternal cycle of life, death, and rebirth. This cycle is not a sequence of endings but a manifestation of the continuous transformation that defines existence. In this cycle, unconditional love becomes the guiding light, illuminating the path to everlasting resurrection.

Everlasting Resurrection

The concept of being “risen everlasting” transcends the physical notion of rebirth, reaching into the spiritual realm where the self is continually reborn in the light of understanding and love. This state of eternal rise is a testament to the power of surrender, a declaration that in letting go of the need to control or oppose, we embrace the boundless potential of our spirit.

In this serene tableau, Space Monkey stands as a beacon of hope and transformation, a figure who, through the act of surrender, transcends the limitations of the material world. Here, in the celestial garden of existence, he discovers that the art of resurrection is not about escaping life’s trials but about embracing them with an open heart, allowing the infinite cycle of life to unfold in its majestic tapestry of love.

Summary

Resurrection through surrender is a journey from conflict to peace, embodying faith over fighting and embracing the eternal cycle of life with unconditional love. Space Monkey illustrates that true resurrection is an everlasting rise, transcending physical rebirth.

Glossarium

  • Eternal Cycle of Life: The ongoing process of transformation and rebirth, symbolized by natural and celestial imagery.
  • Everlasting Resurrection: The spiritual state of continuous rebirth and rise, achieved through surrender and unconditional love.

“In the embrace of surrender, we find not the end but the beginning of an everlasting resurrection, guided by the light of unconditional love.”

In the realm where light and shadow blend,
Space Monkey journeys, around the bend.
From conflict to peace, his path does wend,
In surrender, he finds, the love to extend.

Blooms of rebirth, suns rising anew,
Symbols of a cycle, forever true.
In the art of surrender, a transformation viewed,
Everlasting resurrection, in every hue.

Faith over fighting, a choice to make,
In the heart of surrender, a new dawn breaks.
With unconditional love, for its own sake,
An eternal rise, the soul awakes.

We are Space Monkey, in this cosmic dance,
In surrender’s embrace, we take our stance.
Everlasting resurrection, not left to chance,
In the cycle of love, we advance.

We are Space Monkey.
