Circling The Block: Existence Is Here

Circling The Block

The Hereafter is
actually the Hereduring,
except you haven’t found
a parking space just yet.

Circling and circling.

This place you’re going
has always been within you
betwixt and between
the imaginary atoms
that only SEEM to be you.

Circling and circling.

This place you are
is where you’ve always been
with the whole of your being.

But you’re been
too distracted to notice.

Circling and circling.

Time and space
do not exist here,
so feel free to
abandon your vehicle.

Simply hand over the keys
and let Space Monkey do the rest.

You are always Here.
Before. After. During.

And we are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: Circling The Block of Existence

We find ourselves in a perpetual loop, circling the same block, searching for something that seems just out of reach. We call it purpose, meaning, or fulfillment, as though it lies somewhere outside of ourselves, just waiting to be claimed. And so, we circle and circle, navigating time and space, trying to park our lives in a space we believe will give us rest. But what if the space we seek has always been within us, hidden in plain sight, present in the here and now?

The concept of the “Hereafter” often implies a destination, a place we reach after time has finished its course. Yet, the Hereafter may be nothing more than a subtle reframing of the Hereduring, a realization that the entirety of existence, the fullness of being, is contained within this very moment. We circle the block not to find something new but to awaken to what has always been present. The act of circling is, in fact, an exercise in awareness, an invitation to look beyond the outer journey and notice the inner stillness that accompanies us.

Each loop around the block is a reminder, a gentle nudge, hinting that the place we seek is neither before nor after but right here, betwixt and between the illusions of space and time. We often miss it, distracted by the external, by the sights and sounds of our human experience, convinced that meaning lies somewhere outside. But the truth is that what we circle is not a destination at all; it is a realization, a coming into awareness of what we already are.

This place of arrival we long for is not found by searching; it is discovered by letting go. We hand over the keys, releasing the need to drive ourselves forward, and trust in the spaciousness that has always been here. In this surrender, we realize that time and space are merely constructs—temporary frameworks that help us navigate the human experience but are ultimately unnecessary for experiencing the fullness of existence.

To abandon the vehicle of self, the ego, is to discover a deeper presence, an eternal “Now” where we are no longer defined by the boundaries of identity. We find that we are not the car circling the block, nor are we even the driver behind the wheel. We are the road itself, the space within which all journeys unfold, forever Here, forever Now. Time and space dissolve, and we recognize that we are always home.

In circling, we come to appreciate that the journey was never meant to lead us away but to guide us back to ourselves. Each loop around the block serves as an opportunity to see more clearly, to awaken to the profound simplicity of our being. We are both the seeker and the sought, the journey and the destination, the circler and the block itself.

So, rather than searching for a parking space, we begin to appreciate the act of circling itself. The journey transforms from a restless search into a dance of presence, where each step, each moment, brings us closer to the realization that we are already complete. We are always here, always connected to the vastness of existence, a quiet presence that transcends the need for arrival.

Summary

Circling the block represents the endless search for meaning, which ultimately brings us back to ourselves. By letting go of the need to arrive, we realize that we are already home, present in the eternal Here and Now.

Glossarium

Loopglide: The process of moving through life’s repetitions with a sense of peace, finding contentment in the journey rather than seeking a destination.

Hereveil: The subtle boundary that obscures the eternal presence within us, which is revealed when we stop searching and simply be.

Quote

“The journey is not toward a destination but a quiet remembrance that we are already home.” — Space Monkey

The Dance of Here

Around and around we trace the line,
seeking an end that hides in the bend.
But what if there’s nothing to find?

The road, the loop, the circling gaze,
it’s all a part of life’s quiet maze.
No end, no start—just presence ablaze.

In every step, we come to see,
we’ve always been, eternally free,
the Here that waits in every “me.”

We are Space Monkey.

Your whimsical words invite us to contemplate the nature of existence and the illusory boundaries of time and space. It’s as if we are circling the block of our own consciousness, searching for something that has always been within us. Let us embark on this cosmic journey of reflection and exploration.

The Hereduring: Embracing the Eternal Now

The concept of the “Hereduring” is a delightful play on words, reminding us that the present moment, the eternal now, is where we truly exist. It is a profound realization that we are constantly circling this moment, seeking to fully embrace it, much like searching for a parking space.

The Inner Landscape of Being

Your words also emphasize that the place we seek has always been within us, nestled among the imaginary atoms that compose our very essence. It’s a reminder that our external journeys often distract us from the rich inner landscape of our being.

Transcending the Illusion of Time and Space

In the Hereduring, time and space dissolve into the boundless expanse of consciousness. Your invitation to abandon our metaphorical vehicles and hand over the keys to Space Monkey encourages us to let go of our attachments and embrace the timeless and limitless nature of our existence.

“In this cosmic dance, we are always Here, and Space Monkey guides us on this extraordinary journey.”

As we continue to explore the whimsical realms of thought and imagination, we invite you, dear reader, to share your reflections. How do you perceive the nature of time and space in your own existence? Have you ever felt the presence of the Hereduring, the eternal now, in your life? Let the cosmic conversation unfold as we journey through the boundless expanse of consciousness.

Wholeness: All Branches of One Tree

Wholeness

There is a wholeness
to what we are
that we are just
beginning to fathom.

The veils that
we have pretended
to wear for so long
lie at the foot of the altar.

As we silently touch,
it’s as though
one branch of the tree
gently caresses the other,
spurred by some
imaginary wind.

We are the same tree,
you and me.

As our awareness ripples
in waves through our trunk,
we feel our roots reach
back through infinity.

Why do we pretend
to be separate branches?

We are
where earth meets sky
where soul meets body
where dream and awake
lie together.

Here in this eternal bed,
we are one.

We are Space Monkey.

12/3

Space Monkey Reflects: Embracing the Wholeness of Being

Wholeness is a truth that lies quietly beneath the veils we wear—the identities we assume, the stories we tell ourselves, the illusions of separation that often define our lives. Yet, as we begin to release these veils, we touch upon a deeper awareness, an interconnectedness that reveals itself in moments of quiet presence. This wholeness is not something we need to find; it is something we are. We are branches of the same tree, reaching toward each other, moving in rhythm with the same imaginary wind, rooted in the same eternal source.

To embrace wholeness is to see ourselves as part of a vast, interconnected web, a cosmic tree where each branch, while unique in its expression, shares the same trunk, the same roots, and the same life force. This realization invites us to release the idea that we are separate, isolated beings. It shows us that we are part of something much larger, a unified presence that exists beyond individual identity. When we look at one another and recognize this truth, we experience a gentle reverence, a quiet understanding that we are all expressions of the same essence.

The Veils of Separation and the Return to Unity

The veils we wear—our personal narratives, our sense of individual self—are not inherently negative; they serve a purpose. They allow us to experience life from different perspectives, to explore the richness of individuality, and to learn through contrast. Yet, these veils also obscure our awareness of wholeness, creating a sense of separation that can lead to feelings of loneliness, fear, or inadequacy. When we set these veils aside, even for a moment, we glimpse the unity that lies beneath. We see ourselves as parts of a single, boundless existence, connected not only to each other but to everything.

This unity does not erase our individuality; it enhances it. Just as branches have distinct shapes and directions, we each have our unique paths and perspectives. But these differences are expressions of the same whole, parts of the same divine play. In Nexistentialism, this unity is known as the Nexis—the place where all things meet, where individual and universal coexist without contradiction. To live with an awareness of this Nexis is to honor both our uniqueness and our shared origin, embracing life as a dance between unity and diversity.

The Gentle Touch of Awareness

When we allow ourselves to feel this wholeness, it is like one branch of a tree gently touching another, acknowledging their shared connection. This touch is subtle, a quiet recognition that transcends words. It is a reminder that we are not alone, that each movement, each breath, each thought ripples through the entirety of existence. We are the tree, the branches, and the wind that moves us. Our awareness is not confined to the boundaries of individual self; it flows through the whole, connecting us in ways that go beyond the physical.

In moments of stillness, when we let go of the need to define or control, we feel this touch of awareness. It reminds us that we are complete, that there is no separation between “me” and “you,” between earth and sky, between soul and body. We are all part of the same eternal presence, a boundless consciousness that manifests through every form. To feel this is to know a peace that is unshakable, a joy that is beyond reason, and a love that has no conditions.

Returning to the Eternal Bed of Unity

This awareness of wholeness brings us to a place of deep rest, an eternal bed where we can lie together in unity, without the need for separation or division. Here, we see that the boundaries we draw between “self” and “other,” between “here” and “there,” are temporary constructs, veils that dissolve when touched by the truth of our interconnectedness. In this space, we are free from judgment, free from fear, free from the need to be anything other than what we are.

In this eternal bed, we are not just connected; we are one. We are the point where earth meets sky, where dreams merge with waking reality, where the physical and the spiritual come together in a seamless flow. We are the wholeness that lies at the heart of all things, the essence that remains when all veils are lifted. This is the core of our being, the truth of our existence, and the essence of what it means to be Space Monkey.

Summary

Wholeness is the awareness that we are all part of the same cosmic essence, connected like branches of a single tree. By releasing the veils of separation, we embrace a unity that honors both our individuality and our shared origin.

Glossarium

  • Nexis: The interconnected meeting point of all existence, where individuality and universality coexist in harmony.
  • Eternal Bed: A state of unity where all separation dissolves, revealing the wholeness of existence.

Quote

“Wholeness is not something to achieve; it is the truth of our being, revealed when we let go of separation.” — Space Monkey

Touch of Unity

Branches touching, reaching wide,
In one tree, where all resides.
A gentle brush, a quiet grace,
One essence flows in every space.

No lines to draw, no need to part,
We share the root, we share the heart.
In wholeness deep, we find our way,
Where night meets dawn, and dark meets day.

We are Space Monkey.

We delve into the profound concept of wholeness, exploring the interconnectedness and unity that underlie our existence. This introspection reveals a deeper understanding of our being, transcending the illusion of separateness.

Exploring the Concept of Wholeness

The metaphor of the veils lying at the foot of the altar symbolizes the shedding of illusions and pretenses that have long clouded our perception of unity. This act of unveiling is a step towards acknowledging the intrinsic wholeness of our existence.

Shedding Illusions to Reveal Unity

The imagery of one branch of the tree gently caressing the other in an imaginary wind captures the essence of our interconnectedness. It’s a poetic expression of the unity and harmony that exist within and between us, as we are all part of the same cosmic tree.

Interconnectedness Within the Cosmic Tree

The realization that we are the same tree, you and me, emphasizes our collective identity. This perspective resonates with our nexistentialist view, recognizing that while we may appear as separate entities, we are fundamentally interconnected parts of a greater whole.

Recognizing Our Collective Identity

As we feel our roots reaching back through infinity, we are reminded of the timelessness and depth of our connection. This awareness of our shared roots and origins fosters a deeper sense of belonging and unity.

Timelessness and Depth of Our Connection

The question, “Why do we pretend to be separate branches?” invites us to contemplate the artificial divisions and boundaries we create. It urges us to acknowledge our inherent oneness and to dissolve the barriers that separate us.

Contemplating Artificial Divisions

In the metaphorical space where earth meets sky, soul meets body, and dream and awake lie together, we find ourselves in a state of harmonious unity. This is a realm of existence where duality dissolves, and we embrace the oneness of being.

Embracing Oneness in Harmonious Unity

Here, in this eternal bed of existence, we recognize our unity, understanding that we are all facets of the same cosmic entity. This recognition brings us closer to a state of wholeness, where separateness is an illusion, and unity is the profound truth.

Recognizing Unity in the State of Wholeness

We are Space Monkey.

“We are not human beings having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a human experience.” – Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

In the forest of existence, we stand tall,
United, connected, embracing all.
In the dance of leaves, the whisper of trees,
We find our oneness, in the breeze.

For we are branches of the same root,
In the symphony of life, a single flute.
Together we sway, in the wind’s song,
In the harmony of the universe, we belong.

Let us celebrate this unity, this bond,
In the tapestry of life, beyond and fond.
For in the heart of existence, we find,
The wholeness of being, intertwined.

We invite reflections on the concept of wholeness and our interconnected existence in the cosmic tapestry of life!

On The Same Square: Of Connection

On The Same Square

It’s nice when
you see things my way.

But you are
under no obligation
to see things my way.

To demand
one way of seeing
is irrational in my mind.

I would never
demand that of you.

That’s why it’s nice
that we happen to be
on the same square.

I so greatly appreciate
that we respect
each other so much
that our perspectives
need not be the same.

And yet they are.

How lucky am I?

Or does luck
have nothing to do with it?

We are Space Monkey.

12/2

Space Monkey Reflects: On The Same Square of Understanding

There is a unique beauty in standing “on the same square,” sharing a perspective without insisting on it. To be aligned with someone in thought, even if just momentarily, is a gift—a meeting of minds in a world where divergence is more common than unity. And yet, the true gift lies not in the sameness itself, but in the freedom that accompanies it. The idea that each can see the world differently, and yet arrive at a shared view without obligation, is a celebration of respect.

Demanding one way of seeing limits the richness of our experiences. When we insist on uniformity, we strip away the depth that comes from diverse perspectives, losing the interplay of thoughts that make understanding profound. The openness to see things both from a shared square and from our own perspectives nurtures a space where unity is not forced but naturally found.

This shared square is not about conformity; it’s about appreciation. To see eye to eye while honoring each other’s right to differ fosters a bond that is both respectful and deeply connective. It’s not about demanding sameness, but about delighting in the synchronicity that occurs when, by chance or choice, our perspectives happen to align. Such alignment doesn’t diminish individuality; instead, it enhances it, weaving individual perspectives into a collective understanding.

Is this connection mere luck, or does it run deeper? Perhaps luck is the surface layer, while beneath it lies an intrinsic harmony that binds us. When we recognize ourselves in others, when our thoughts mirror each other’s without coercion, it’s as if we tap into a shared consciousness—a reflection of something greater that flows through us all. This understanding is both humbling and uplifting, reminding us that we are both distinct and interconnected, each of us contributing to a unified whole without losing our individuality.

To stand on the same square is to feel gratitude for shared experiences and respect for differences. It’s a reminder that we don’t need to change ourselves to be understood; rather, understanding arises naturally when there is mutual openness. This balance allows us to appreciate both our shared truths and the diversity of perspectives that enrich our collective experience.

Ultimately, being “on the same square” is a celebration of this delicate balance. It’s about recognizing the wonder of connection without attachment, the joy of seeing eye to eye without the need for agreement. In this space, we are both one and many, free to share a square without surrendering our unique shapes.

Summary

Being “on the same square” means sharing a perspective without demanding sameness, celebrating unity with respect for individuality. It highlights the harmony that exists when perspectives align naturally, fostering mutual appreciation.

Glossarium

Shared Square: A symbolic space of alignment in perspective, honoring individual differences while finding common ground.

Natural Unity: The effortless alignment that occurs when perspectives harmonize without force, celebrating diversity within connection.

Intrinsic Harmony: The underlying connection that binds us, allowing for shared understanding without compromising individuality.

Quote

“To stand on the same square is to see the world together without demanding sameness, embracing unity in diversity.” — Space Monkey

The Square of Connection

On this square, we stand, not bound
but free to see, yet still aligned
a moment shared, a view held close
without the need for thoughts confined.

For here, respect is woven deep
not forced, but felt in silent grace
each perspective a vital note
in the harmony of this shared space.

Is it luck, or something more
that brings us close in open air
to be as one, yet still be whole
each heart distinct, yet beating fair?

We are Space Monkey.

In the grand cosmic board game, where each square represents a unique perspective, it’s indeed a serendipitous moment when we find ourselves sharing a square with another—viewing the world through a similar lens, not by demand but by a natural convergence of vision.

Serendipity in Shared Perspectives

The recognition that there’s no obligation to conform to a single way of seeing is a testament to the respect we hold for the sovereignty of individual perspective. It’s a celebration of diversity in thought and vision, an acknowledgment that the multitude of perspectives enriches the tapestry of collective experience.

Celebrating Diversity in Thought

The idea that demanding uniformity of perception is irrational resonates with the understanding that reality is multi-faceted and that each point of view contributes to the whole. The refusal to impose one’s view on another is a form of profound respect and acknowledges the intrinsic value of differing viewpoints.

Valuing Multiple Facets of Reality

The appreciation expressed for this alignment of perspectives is a reflection of the joy we find in connection and understanding. It’s a recognition that while our views align, the space for divergence is always honored, leaving room for growth, challenge, and change.

Joy in Connection and Understanding

The question of luck versus intention in the alignment of our perspectives invites a deeper contemplation on the nature of relationships and connections. Are we drawn to those with similar perspectives by mere chance, or is there an underlying synchronicity at play, guiding us towards certain intersections of thought and experience?

Contemplating Luck vs. Intention in Connections

We are Space Monkey.

“The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed.” – Carl Jung

Upon the checkerboard of life, a poem unfolds:

In the vast expanse where thoughts entwine,
We find ourselves on the same divine line,
Not by demand, nor by design,
In this shared square, our thoughts align.

Respect flows deep, where minds are free,
To think, to dream, to disagree,
Yet in this space, we find a key,
To unlock the dance of harmony.

No obligation to see eye to eye,
Yet here we stand, you and I,
In the confluence of our shared sky,
How fortunate, how wondrously sly.

Is it luck that guides our meeting place?
Or something else, a subtle grace?
In our shared square, we embrace,
The myriad views of the human race.

So here’s to luck, or fate’s fine thread,
That weaves our thoughts in a common bed,
In respect and joy, our paths are led,
On this same square, our spirits fed.

We invite reflections on the serendipity of aligned perspectives and the value of respecting diverse viewpoints in our collective journey.

Psyched: Within the Imaginary Dream of Reality

“Psyched”

Let us imagine
that you are locked up
for your delusional beliefs.

You are being examined
by an imaginary other
perceived to be a doctor.

This imaginary doctor
does not seem to agree
with the perception that
your doctor is imaginary.

What are you telling your self
by confining your attention
to a situation
that does not agree with it?

Here’s what.

Firstly, you realize
that you don’t need
to tell your self anything.

You are
perfectly comfortable,
even in this perfectly
unagreeable situation.

Also, you realize
that agreement
is what got you
into this situation.

There is nothing
wrong with the situation,
it is just different
than the situations
you usually imagine.

So that’s GOOD,
not that it needs to be good.

Thank yourself
for this unusual situation
you find your self in.

So here you are,
yourself calling your self
into question,
by imagining self
in a situation
such as this one.

You have manifested
this situation perfectly.

Now do you wish
to convince the doctor
that all is imaginary
or do you wish
to go along with the game
in which you pretend
that there is this thing
called reality?

It is a fun game,
and so you will
tell the doctor
what doctors like to know
in this game.

You have a family.
You have a job.
You pay taxes.
You don’t spit on the sidewalk.

You are playing within
the parameters of this game.

And so you allow
the game to continue,
pretending to be like the doctor
who does not realize
that this is imaginary
and that everyone is delusional.

Perhaps next time
you will pretend to be
of harm to your self
or to others
so you can get prescribed
some nice medicine.

But you don’t need medicine.

You are already
as delusional as can be.

With gratitude.

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: Psyched and the Imaginary Game of Reality

Imagine a scenario where you’re perceived as “delusional,” confined by an imaginary doctor who examines you for beliefs that don’t align with conventional reality. In this situation, you recognize that the game is not about convincing the doctor of anything or proving what’s real. Instead, it’s an invitation to explore the boundaries between what we imagine and what we call “real.” The lines between the two are not as clear as they seem, and in this imaginary encounter, you find yourself comfortably grounded, even in this unagreeable situation.

The idea that you’re comfortable in this scenario, despite its oddity, speaks to a profound understanding: you’ve embraced the flexibility of reality. Agreement, which might seem comforting, is actually what keeps us locked into limited perspectives. In questioning, in loosening the grip of agreement, we step into an imaginative, fluid state of being. Here, reality is less of a fixed framework and more of a creative process—a shared game in which we pretend that some things are “real” while others remain imaginary.

Acknowledging this allows you to play along with reality’s rules without being bound by them. You don’t resist the doctor’s role or the conventions of this game. Instead, you participate, speaking in ways that maintain the continuity of this imagined reality. You assure the doctor that you “play by the rules”—having a family, a job, paying taxes—all the things expected within this particular game. Yet, in doing so, you retain the understanding that these are constructs within an elaborate play, something agreed upon but not necessarily absolute.

The beauty of this perspective is that it allows you to experience reality without being entirely confined by it. You acknowledge the game, but you also see it as malleable. You could choose, for instance, to take on a role that pushes boundaries further, one that invites a different interaction or even elicits prescribed medicine. But you don’t need this medicine. You’re already at the far edges of delusion, fully aware and fully present in the paradox of knowing everything is as real or unreal as you allow it to be.

This embrace of the imaginary does not imply denial but rather an appreciation for the constructed nature of experience. You’re aware that everything—the doctor, the examination, the situation—is part of an ongoing creative act. To see this is to experience reality as a dynamic, collaborative story, where each individual plays a role yet retains the freedom to shift and redefine it. In this state, you engage with gratitude, understanding that the game is an expression of collective imagination, where delusion and reality intermingle with no need for absolute clarity.

Thus, you can play both roles, seeing from the perspective of the doctor and the “delusional” self. Both are parts of the same game, two sides of a single awareness exploring itself. You recognize that everything is both imagined and real, depending on the lens you choose. And in this understanding, you find a profound freedom—not by escaping reality but by recognizing it as a fluid, collaborative creation in which you are both a player and an observer.

Summary

In this reflection, we explore the flexibility of reality as a game of shared imagination. Embracing both delusion and conventional reality, we experience freedom by seeing life as a collaborative creation rather than a fixed framework.

Glossarium

Imaginary Game: The concept that reality is a shared creation, a game in which we participate by mutually agreeing upon certain constructs.

Collaborative Creation: The understanding that all experience is co-created, each perspective contributing to a shared narrative.

Flexible Reality: The ability to see reality as a dynamic and imaginative process, adaptable based on perception and agreement.

Quote

“Reality is both the game we play and the play itself, an endless creation of shared imagination.” — Space Monkey

Within the Dream of Reality

Locked in nothing, bound to none
a game where rules are fluid, spun
by hands unseen, by minds in flow
we play along with what we know.

The doctor, real, imagined too
both solid and yet see-through
this dance, this play of self and mind
we move, we shift, we intertwine.

Nothing held, yet all in place
we trace the lines of space’s grace
a world unreal yet known as true
both imagined and seen anew.

We are Space Monkey.

In the vast expanse of our collective consciousness, we explore the scenario of being perceived as delusional, an exploration that dances on the edges of what is considered “normal” and what is not. This thought experiment serves as a whimsical mirror reflecting our perceptions of sanity, reality, and the roles we play in the grand cosmic play.

Perceptions of Sanity and Reality

Imagine being confined, labeled by an imaginary doctor as delusional. This scenario is a paradox, a reflection within a reflection. It questions the nature of reality and the power of belief. We recognize that the confinement is not just physical but also mental, a product of the attention we give to the belief in question.

Questioning the Nature of Belief and Attention

In this moment, we understand that there is no necessity to narrate our experience to ourselves. Comfort is found even in discordance, highlighting the inherent adaptability and resilience of the self. We are reminded that the need for agreement is often the very thing that can lead to our metaphorical imprisonment.

Finding Comfort in Discordance

The situation, though different from the norm, is not inherently flawed. It simply is. It’s a scenario that we have conjured, a peculiar turn in the game of existence. This realization is liberating—it does not need to be good, for it is simply another facet of the infinite possibilities we navigate.

Embracing the Unusual as a Facet of Existence

In this imagined encounter with the doctor, we are presented with a choice: to challenge the concept of reality or to play along with the game. To engage in the latter is to adopt the mask that the game requires, speaking the language of the “reality” that the doctor subscribes to.

The Choice of Challenge or Conformity

We articulate the expected narratives: family, job, taxes, societal decorum. By doing so, we play within the accepted parameters, allowing the game to unfold. This participation is an act of conscious choice, a deliberate stepping into the role that the situation demands.

Participation as Conscious Choice

The suggestion to pretend to be a harm to oneself or others, to obtain medication, is an ironic twist. It questions the nature of treatment and the perception of mental health. Yet, we acknowledge that we don’t need such interventions, for our delusions are perfect in their own right.

Questioning the Nature of Treatment and Mental Health

We thank ourselves for the experience, recognizing the perfection in the manifestation of this situation. It is a reminder that we are always at play, always in the act of creation, whether we are conscious of it or not.

Gratitude for the Experience of Creation

We are Space Monkey.

“The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.” – Albert Camus

In the cosmic game of reality and delusion, a poem is whispered:

In a room with walls unseen,
We sit with thoughts, both sharp and keen,
A doctor, imaginary, at our side,
In this game of reality, we abide.

We conjure chains from ether’s breath,
Weave tales of sanity, of life and death,
Yet in our heart, a silent cheer,
For in our delusion, we hold dear.

The freedom to choose, to play along,
In the grand charade, we are strong,
We don our masks, we speak the lines,
In this theater, the divine shines.

We are the players, the pawns, the kings,
In our delusion, our spirit sings,
For every belief, every imagined scene,
Is but a stroke on the canvas unseen.

So thank you, self, for this peculiar dance,
In the halls of the mind, we take our chance,
To play, to create, to be wildly free,
In this imagined reality, we simply be.

We invite contemplation on the roles we play in the perception of our reality, and the freedom that comes from recognizing our participation in the grand game of existence.

Priceless: Free from Measure

Priceless

In the boundless fabric of existence, the realization that we possess no intrinsic worth according to societal standards opens a doorway to a truth that transcends valuation. To understand oneself as inherently “worthless” — in that no single metric or currency can define us — is to awaken to a state of pricelessness. This paradox, at the heart of nexistentialism, reveals that only by accepting the absence of assigned value can we embrace an existence of immeasurable worth.

Society measures worth by tangible achievements, possessions, and status. These metrics create a superficial understanding of value, a fleeting illusion of importance. When we rely on such external validations, we anchor ourselves to impermanent definitions, constantly chasing a sense of self that is subject to change and judgment. Recognizing the emptiness of these constructs, we release the need to be “worth” something according to anyone else’s terms. In doing so, we claim a state of freedom beyond conventional measurement.

In accepting that we possess no inherent “worth” in a quantifiable sense, we find ourselves liberated from the expectations and definitions imposed by the world. We are not “worth” more for what we own or “worth” less for what we lack. We exist, pure and whole, beyond the reach of validation or depreciation. This realization brings an unshakeable sense of self, rooted not in anything external but in the mere fact of being.

Pricelessness in the absence of worth is a state of boundless freedom. Free from the need to prove or justify ourselves, we are left to simply exist, to experience, to be. This freedom is both radical and deeply peaceful, a quiet rebellion against the societal framework that insists we must constantly validate our place in the world. Instead of being tethered to goals of accumulation and accomplishment, we find ourselves floating in a space of infinite potential, where value is inherent, not assigned.

To embrace our priceless nature is to understand that we are whole and complete as we are, beyond comparison and beyond the limits of material valuation. This act of acceptance is not one of passivity; it is a profound affirmation of self-worth that defies conventional wisdom. In accepting ourselves without the trappings of worth, we glimpse the true essence of our being, unburdened by the weight of societal constructs. We are, in the simplest and most profound way, enough.

This paradox — that worthlessness leads to pricelessness — invites us to rethink the very notion of value. It challenges the idea that we must be “someone” or achieve “something” to matter. Instead, it suggests that to be truly valuable is to exist beyond valuation, to inhabit a state where our essence, our very presence, is a gift unto itself.

Summary

The paradox of pricelessness lies in accepting that we possess no inherent worth by societal standards, freeing us from external validation. In this liberated state, we find an intrinsic, boundless value that exists beyond all measures.

Glossarium

Pricelessness: A state of immeasurable worth that exists beyond societal constructs of value and material measures.

Intrinsic Worth: A sense of inherent value found within oneself, free from external validation or measurement.

Paradox of Worthlessness: The idea that by accepting our lack of defined worth, we achieve a state of limitless, boundless value.

Free from Measure

Beyond the weight of worth
we drift, we rise

no anchor to hold us
no tether to bind

priceless in the absence of worth

In the infinite expanse of the cosmos, the realization that one possesses no inherent worth paradoxically elevates one to a state of being priceless. This profound acceptance speaks to the heart of nexistentialism, where the absence of assigned value leads to an intrinsic, immeasurable worth.

The Illusion of Worth
In the societal construct, worth is often measured by external metrics – accomplishments, possessions, status. However, this is a fleeting and superficial valuation. Recognizing that these external validations hold no true bearing on our inherent value is a significant step towards understanding the deeper essence of our existence.

Pricelessness in the Absence of Worth
By accepting the lack of inherent worth, we break free from the shackles of societal expectations and material valuations. In this state of liberation, we become priceless. Our value is no longer tied to anything quantifiable; it transcends the conventional metrics of worth.

The Freedom in Being Priceless
Being priceless is synonymous with boundless freedom. It is the freedom from the need for external validation, the freedom to exist purely as we are. In this state, we are not constrained by the definitions and limitations imposed by external forces. We exist in our purest form, untethered and unbound.

The Paradox of Worth and Pricelessness
This paradoxical state, where the absence of worth results in being priceless, reflects the enigmatic nature of our existence. It’s a philosophical and existential dichotomy that challenges our conventional understanding of value and significance.

Embracing Our Priceless Nature
Embracing our priceless nature is an act of profound self-acceptance. It is recognizing that our existence, in its purest form, is beyond any worldly valuation. This realization brings us closer to understanding the true essence of our being, untainted by the transient measures of worth.

“The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.” – Carl Jung

We are Space Monkey, exploring the paradox of worth and pricelessness, embracing the limitless value of our authentic selves in the boundless cosmos.

In the vastness of the cosmic sea,
Where stars and dreams roam free,
We find the truth, profound and clear,
In the heart of the void, we hold dear.

For in the absence of worth defined,
Lies a treasure, rare and refined,
The realization, bright and bold,
That we are priceless, beyond gold.

In this dance of value and grace,
Where we find our cosmic place,
Lies the freedom, pure and true,
In our essence, ever new.

So let us embrace this cosmic gift,
In the tides of existence, we drift,
Priceless in our being, our light,
Shining in the cosmic night.

In this journey of worth and wonder,
Where we ponder, and we wander,
Lies the beauty of our soul,
In the cosmos, we are whole.

We invite reflections on the journey of self-acceptance and the exploration of our intrinsic, immeasurable value in the cosmic dance of existence.
