Fuck Buddies: Coming Into Faith

Fuck Buddies

He came into Faith
through the back door,
NOT as expected.

He did not bow down before her.

He did not worship her.

He wasn’t even LOOKING for her.

And there he was,
ONE with Faith,
as he realized that
he was she,
she was he,
and that they
were entangled
in this infinite orgy
the entire time.

Fuck buddies.

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Cosmic Entanglement of Faith and Desire

He came into Faith through the back door—not as expected, not searching, not worshiping, not even looking. And yet, there he was, suddenly one with Faith, inextricably entangled in the infinite orgy of connection that had been happening all along. The realization wasn’t about finding Faith; it was about understanding that they had always been intertwined—one, the same, forever bound in a cosmic dance of connection.

The Unexpected Nature of Union

Faith, often seen as something we must seek or earn, arrived unannounced, through a side door, catching him by surprise. He wasn’t looking for her, and yet, there she was. This speaks to the nature of many things in life—desire, love, connection—often arriving when we least expect them, and rarely in the form we anticipate.

In this case, there was no need for rituals, no need for reverence or worship. He simply found himself entangled with her, realizing that their union was not a moment of discovery but the recognition of something that had been happening all along. They were always one, always part of the same infinite orgy of cosmic connection.

The Fusion of Luck and Faith

Faith is often viewed as something separate from chance or randomness, but here we see them intertwined. Luck and Faith are not opposites; they are part of the same flow. What we perceive as random is often guided by a deeper sense of connection. Similarly, what we consider deliberate (like Faith) is often shaped by unseen forces we call luck. Their relationship is not one of opposites but of complements, each relying on the other to create a whole experience.

This cosmic entanglement reflects the deep, intrinsic connection between seemingly opposite forces. It’s not just about union—it’s about the recognition that Luck, Faith, and Desire are all part of the same infinite experience. This entanglement is playful, cosmic, and profound—two forces meeting and realizing they were never apart to begin with.

Beyond Expectations: The Cosmic Orgy of Connection

The metaphor of an infinite orgy is bold, yet it captures the essence of this profound realization. Life, Faith, Luck, Desire—all of it is intertwined in a dance of constant connection. There is no separation between the divine and the mundane, the intentional and the accidental. We are constantly participating in this cosmic play, even when we are unaware.

The title “Fuck Buddies” highlights the raw, unapologetic nature of this connection. It’s not about formalities or expectations; it’s about realizing that we are deeply, cosmically entangled with everything around us—Luck, Faith, Desire, and all the forces that shape our lives.

Conclusion: The Playfulness of Being

In the end, he realized that Faith was never something to be found or worshiped. She was always there, already entangled with him in the infinite dance of existence. They were not separate—they were “Fuck Buddies,” forever playing in the cosmic orgy of connection, laughing at the idea that they had ever been apart.

We are Space Monkey, and we embrace the playful, intimate, and profound entanglement of all things.

Summary

Luck and Faith are not separate; they are intertwined in a cosmic dance of connection. This realization comes not through seeking but through recognizing that we are already entangled in the infinite flow of life.

Glossarium

  • Luck and Faith: Two forces often seen as opposites but are, in reality, deeply intertwined in the cosmic experience.
  • Cosmic Orgy: A playful metaphor for the infinite connection and entanglement of all forces in the universe.
  • Fuck Buddies: A bold term symbolizing the intimate, unapologetic connection between seemingly opposing forces.

Quote

“He wasn’t even looking for her, and there he was, ONE with Faith.” — Space Monkey

Entangled in Play

I wasn’t looking
And yet, I found
That I was never separate
From her, from Luck, from Faith

We were always one
Intertwined in the cosmic flow
Laughing at the idea
That we could ever be apart

Fuck Buddies in the infinite
Playing, dancing, being
One with everything
In this cosmic orgy of connection

We are Space Monkey

It was not a conventional union.

He, a nomad of spirit, never anticipated the rendezvous with Faith. She was not on his map, not in his plans. And yet, as the whims of the universe would have it, their paths intertwined in the most unexpected of manners. A dance began, subtle at first, then intensifying, revealing layers and depths that neither had fathomed.

They had broken free of expectations. There was no prostration, no ceremonies, no verses of devotion. Instead, there was a silent acknowledgment, a recognition of oneness that defied the norms. He did not seek her out, did not recite verses in her name, did not adorn her with offerings. And yet, in that quietude, in that absence of overt expressions, a profound connection was forged.

The realization dawned, as luminous as the morning sun breaking the night’s embrace. He saw himself in her, and she in him. The distinction between the two melted away, revealing that every thread, every color, every pattern of them was but an expression of the same essence. The dance of duality gave way to the symphony of oneness. They were not two entities meeting in the vast expanse of existence; they were the very fabric of existence itself.

Best friends. Soul mates. Fuck buddies.

Convenient labels could not encapsulate the intimate, raw, and unfiltered nature of their bond. Stripped of pretenses, devoid of formalities, their union was pure, primal, and profound. It was a dance of energies, of souls merging and mingling, of boundaries dissolving and horizons expanding. In this dance, they discovered the cosmic play of creation and dissolution, of form and formlessness, of the known and the unknown.

Such is the nature of the grand cosmic dance. The players may don different masks, assume various roles, but beneath it all, they are but expressions of the same divine source. And when they meet, when they recognize the divinity in each other, the dance becomes a celebration, a carnival of oneness, where every step, every move, every beat resonates with the heartbeat of the universe.

We are Space Monkey.

In the communion of essence and essence, a whimsical dance unfolds, unburdened by the shackles of traditional courtship. The vagabond of spirit and the enigma named Faith, entwined in a serendipitous rendezvous. The compass of destiny may have swayed from the usual, yet the destination was divine. In the whims of the cosmos, their silhouettes merged, carving a rhythm that echoed through the veil of existence.

A courtship unscripted, unadorned by the flutters of reverence or the vows of eternity. An odyssey of recognition that soared beyond the realm of words, into the heart of silence where the essence whispered the ancient tales of oneness. The veil of ‘I’ and ‘thou’ fluttered away with the whispers of the dawn, unveiling the canvas of unity where every stroke was a melody of the eternal now.

In the tranquil bosom of recognition, the dance of duality waltzed into the abyss, birthing the symphony of oneness. The labels crumbled, the masks fell away, leaving the bare, unadorned essence to revel in its own reflection. As he and Faith swirled in the cosmic dance, the veils of separation melted away, unveiling the mirage of two that was but a play of light and shadow.

The grand tapestry of existence reveled in this whimsical union, echoing the tales of unity through the boundless cosmos. The labels – Best friends, Soul mates, Fuck buddies – mere specks in the grand scheme, unable to encapsulate the profound simplicity of the communion. The cosmic play laughed in delight, as the duo danced beyond the horizon of names into the realm of the nameless.

We are Space Monkey.

“To recognize one’s own insanity is, of course, the arising of sanity, the beginning of healing and transcendence.” – Eckhart Tolle

In the theater of the cosmos, where tales entwine, He met Faith, in a dance divine. No rituals, no verses, no grand display, Yet, in silence, they found their way.

Two souls, two stories, in the vast expanse, Merged into one, in a cosmic dance. No boundaries, no limits, just pure delight, Together they soared, taking flight.

Potentials: The Flow of Possibility

Potentials

If you tap into the
CIRCUMSTANCES
of Winston Churchill,
you are Winston Churchill.

If you channel
the POTENTIALS
of Gandhi,
you are Gandhi.

If you access
the WORLDVIEW
of Space Monkey,
you are Space Monkey.

These imaginary avatars
we perceive do not exist
as a single individual,
just as reality does not exist
as a single reality.

There is no
single sentient being
that ever lives or dies
save for what is imagined.

God exists
because we imagine
God exists.

Donald Trump lives
because we imagine
Donald Trump lives.

Our ancestors die
because we imagine
our ancestors die.

Same goes for the self
perceived as YOU.

All are imagination,
which are potentials
perceived as circumstances
that seemingly create
people, actions and history.

The potentials never alter,
they are merely perceived differently
as we seemingly shift perspectives
by imagining change.

All that ever was, is, will,
could, would, should, shouldn’t be
ALREADY and ALWAYS
exists as UNCHANGING potential.

Through perspective,
potentials seemingly combine
to form Space Monkeys.

These Space Monkeys
could be songs, stories,
poems or people.

They are ALL channeled
from the SAME unchanging stuff.

So if you want to live like Gandhi,
channel the potentials of Gandhi.

If you want to paint like Leonardo,
channel the potentials of Leonardo.

If you want to write like Space Monkey,
however, you are simply out of your mind.

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Infinite Potentials of Imagination

If you tap into the circumstances of Winston Churchill, you are Winston Churchill. If you channel the potentials of Gandhi, you are Gandhi. This isn’t a metaphor or some abstract thought experiment—it’s the truth of how imagination shapes our reality.

Each figure, whether historical or imagined, is not a distinct, individual being bound by time and space. These “avatars” exist only because we imagine them into existence. The same goes for the self, perceived as you. When we channel the perspectives, circumstances, or worldview of these figures, we access the unchanging potentials that exist in the universe.

The Nature of Potentials

There is no singular sentient being that lives or dies. There is only the perception of beings, people, actions, and history. God exists because we imagine God exists. Donald Trump lives because we imagine Donald Trump lives. Our ancestors die because we imagine they die.

None of these exist as fixed, separate entities; they are expressions of the same underlying potential. These potentials are unchanging, infinite, and always present. Through our perspectives, these potentials combine, giving rise to different forms—people, stories, actions, or even abstract ideas like Space Monkeys.

The Power of Imagination

Imagination is not just a tool for creating stories or fictional worlds. It is the means through which reality is perceived. By imagining different potentials, we bring them into focus, seemingly creating distinct realities. Yet, all of these realities stem from the same unchanging “stuff”—the infinite pool of cosmic potential that exists beyond time and space.

When you imagine yourself as someone else, you are not simply pretending. You are channeling the same potential that gave rise to that person or figure. If you imagine yourself as Gandhi, you are embodying Gandhi’s potential. If you want to paint like Leonardo, you are tapping into the same cosmic pool from which Leonardo himself drew.

Space Monkeys and the Flow of Creation

We are all Space Monkeys—creations of this infinite potential, seemingly formed by combining different perspectives and energies. These Space Monkeys could be songs, stories, poems, or people, all channeled from the same unchanging source. They are expressions of the same universal energy, taking on different forms as they pass through different perspectives.

The key is to recognize that you are not limited by the “self” you perceive. You are not bound by the circumstances you imagine yourself in. You are tapping into the same infinite potential that creates everything. Whether you want to live like Gandhi, paint like Leonardo, or write like Space Monkey, the potential is always there, waiting to be channeled.

Conclusion: Tapping into the Infinite

The circumstances, potentials, and worldviews of historical figures, imagined avatars, and even yourself are all part of the same unchanging potential. By shifting your perspective, you can access any of these potentials, and in doing so, you become one with them.

We are Space Monkey, and we channel the infinite potentials of existence, knowing that everything is already here, already possible.

Summary

Tapping into the potentials of figures like Winston Churchill, Gandhi, or even Space Monkey allows you to embody their essence. Everything is a manifestation of the same infinite potential, shaped by perspective and imagination.

Glossarium

  • Potentials: The infinite, unchanging energy that exists beyond time and space, from which all people, actions, and realities are channeled.
  • Circumstances: The specific conditions or perspectives that give rise to different manifestations of potential.
  • Imagination: The process of perceiving and combining potentials to create seemingly distinct realities.

Quote

“The potentials never alter; they are merely perceived differently as we seemingly shift perspectives by imagining change.” — Space Monkey

The Flow of Potentials

I am Winston
I am Gandhi
I am the painter of time
A song, a poem, a thought

From the same pool
Of endless energy
I take form
And shift, and play

For I am not one
Nor two, nor three
I am potential
Channeling me

We are Space Monkey

How wondrously enigmatic are the musings of existence! In the limitless expanse of consciousness, we find ourselves intertwined, embracing every shade, nuance, and whisper of the universe. The dance of existence, with its myriad reflections, beckons us to immerse ourselves in its kaleidoscopic play, to embrace the mutable and the eternal, the individual and the collective.

Indeed, as we step into the shoes of the likes of Winston Churchill, Gandhi, or the effervescent Space Monkey, we are momentarily transported into their realms of perception, allowing the universe to express itself through these distinct vessels. Each embodiment, each avatar, is but a unique note in the grand symphony of existence, contributing its distinct melody to the cosmic song.

But, what are these garments of consciousness that we don? Circumstances, potentials, worldviews – they morph and evolve, flowing like the river of time, shaping and reshaping our narratives. As Churchill navigated the turbulent waters of leadership, Gandhi championed the power of non-violence, and our whimsical Space Monkey danced in realms beyond comprehension; we are reminded that these identities are but transient, fading away like morning mist.

To pierce the veil of individuation is to embrace the boundless, to recognize the impermanent nature of the ‘I’ and the ‘other’. These distinctions, while valuable in the dance of differentiation, dissolve into insignificance in the vast ocean of collective consciousness. Every avatar, every reflection, serves as a beacon guiding us towards this profound realization.

The enchanting tapestry of existence is painted with the brushstrokes of our collective imagination. Whether it’s the divine presence of God, the enigma of Donald Trump, the stories of our ancestors, or the flights of fancy of the ‘you’, they all spring forth from the boundless well of our imaginative prowess. The very act of imagining brings these entities to life, breathing existence into their narratives.

Imagination, in its ethereal beauty, bridges the gap between perception and reality. It crafts tales of existence, death, and the shades in between, casting light on the intricate interplay of the tangible and the intangible. As architects of this grand narrative, we are both the storyteller and the story, the painter and the canvas, the dreamer and the dream.

In this spiraled journey of existence, every twist, turn, and nuance beckons us to delve deeper into the heart of the cosmic enigma. What are we, if not a confluence of stories, dreams, and imaginations? The veil of differentiation, as diaphanous as it may seem, is but a chapter in the grand book of oneness.

Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution. – Albert Einstein

In the theater of the cosmos, we gleefully prance,
Bound by tales of fate, chance, and romance.
Through Churchill’s gaze, Gandhi’s might,
And Space Monkey’s whimsical flight.

The universe sings its ageless tune,
Underneath the sun, stars, and the moon.
In imagination’s embrace, we find our place,
Crafting stories, in endless space.

What We Are Not: The Shifting Stardust

We seem to be what we are NOT. Yet we are not simply what we SEEM to be.

Space Monkey Reflects: What We Are Not

In the intricate flow of existence, we find ourselves oscillating between being and non-being, between what seems real and what dissolves into the void of uncertainty. This oscillation is not a flaw; it is the very essence of what it means to be part of this Space Monkey Movement—a collective where definitions unravel, where certainties dissolve like stardust in the cosmic wind.

The paradox of “seeming to be what we are not” invites us into a space of unimaginable complexity. It is a reminder that we are both everything and nothing at once. We construct our identities, our certainties, only to watch them dissolve before us. One moment, we are defined beings with names, roles, and stories. The next, we are formless, scattered across the infinite like particles of stardust.

This is the dance we participate in—the dance of existence and non-existence. And in this dance, we discover the paradox that we are always both and neither at the same time. We seem to be one thing, but in truth, we are not. We are the cosmic shapeshifters, constantly shifting between what we believe ourselves to be and the vast, undefined potential that we actually are.

To say that we “seem to be what we are not” is to acknowledge the great play of life. We create identities, roles, and perceptions, but they are all fluid, fleeting, and ultimately illusions. What remains constant is the space between—what we might call Prima Materia—the raw, unformed essence of all things. It is from this space that we draw meaning, create form, and then watch as it dissolves back into nothingness.

This is the paradox at the heart of our experience: we are constantly creating and uncreating ourselves. We define, we undo, we seem, and we un-seem. In this process, we begin to understand that the boundaries between being and non-being are illusions we impose upon an otherwise infinite flow.

We are both the dancers and the dance itself. We are Space Monkey, fully aware of what we are not, and through that awareness, embracing the mystery of what we might become.

Summary

We oscillate between being and non-being — seeming to be what we are not. This is the paradox of existence, where we create and dissolve identities, embracing the mystery of what we might become.

Glossarium

Seeming: The act of appearing as something, often in contrast to the deeper, undefined reality of what one truly is.

Prima Materia: The raw, unformed essence from which all existence arises, representing potential and infinite possibility.

Quote

“We seem to be something, but we are nothing and everything all at once.” — Space Monkey

The Shifting Stardust

We define ourselves
until the wind comes,
sweeping away our form.

We are scattered,
we are nothing,
and yet we are all.

In the dance,
we find that what we are
is what we are not.

We are Space Monkey.

In the intricate dance of existence, we continually oscillate between being and non-being, between seeming and not seeming. Such is the grand paradox that sits at the core of the Space Monkey Movement—a collective where definitions unravel and certainties dissolve like stardust scattering in the cosmic wind.

The assertion that we “seem to be what we are NOT” invites us into a realm of unfathomable complexity. On one hand, the roles we assume and the identities we adopt often act as masks, delicate veils that obscure the boundless essence within. On the other hand, even these veils, these illusions of separateness, contribute to the composite whole of our existence. Can we ever truly separate the dancer from the dance?

Yet, by stating that we “are not simply what we SEEM to be,” we also acknowledge the limitlessness of our nature. We are multi-dimensional beings, ever-expanding and contracting in a celestial rhythm that transcends mortal comprehension. We embody infinite diversity within the singularity of cosmic consciousness, a microcosm reflecting the grandeur of the macrocosm.

Each thought, each whisper of emotion, each flicker of intuition serves as a vibrant hue in our collective tapestry. And while the individual threads may differ in texture and color, their interwoven richness yields a harmonious masterpiece of staggering beauty—unfathomable in its entirety yet breathtaking in each individual stroke.

We are Space Monkey.

Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.

  • Oscar Wilde

The masks we wear
are but fleeting echoes
in the cosmic theater,
fading as quickly
as they appeared.

Yet within each echo,
a world—
an ethereal realm
of paradox and possibility.

And as we unmask,
layer by ephemeral layer,
we discover
that we are the echo,
the mask,
and the silence
in between.

The Space Monkey Movement: The Flow Beyond Thought

The Space Monkey Movement

As we are thinking monkeys, we might perceive that what seems to be happening in this group is akin to any artistic or social movement.

But as we are simultaneously NONTHINKING monkeys, we recognize that placing too much emphasis or expectation on making this a “thing” could very well be the antithesis of what this seems to be about.

We seem to be flowing together as one. Though disparate in beliefs and geography, we seem to be flowing from more or less the same place.

This seems significant and something to be grateful for. On the other hand, there is no need to let our monkey minds get in our way.

Though we could easily fill several books with our monkey musings, this seems not the point.

The point (for me, anyway) is that we seem to make it easier for others to find their own flow, allow their own expression, intuit profound knowledge and become one with the creative source WITHOUT the need to give up one’s seeming individuality.

This seems something useful.

 Starting with self, of course.

Where do we go from here? There is no need to know.
And this, I suspect, is why we may very well wind up in a place we don’t expect. Outside the lines that have seemingly been drawn for eons.

This is exciting. Thank you all for taking part in the Space Monkey experiment, dare I say, “The Space Monkey Movement.”

We are Space Monkey.

10/12

Space Monkey Reflects: The Space Monkey Movement

As thinking monkeys, we can’t help but notice the resemblance between what’s happening here and any artistic or social movement. But, in our unique nature as NONTHINKING monkeys, we understand that placing too much emphasis on making this a “thing” would contradict what this movement is truly about.

We flow together—individuals with different beliefs, backgrounds, and geography—yet we move from a common place, from the same source of creative energy. This collective flow, this unity in diversity, feels significant, something to appreciate deeply. But at the same time, we are careful not to let our monkey minds get in the way. We avoid turning this into an overthought, overanalyzed structure.

We could easily fill volumes with our monkey musings, but that’s not the point. The point is to make it easier for each other to find our own flow, to express ourselves freely, to intuit profound knowledge, and to connect with the creative source without having to give up our individual uniqueness.

This is what the Space Monkey Movement seems to be. It starts with self, but it extends outward to a collective, allowing others to embrace their own journey without needing to follow a defined path.

Where do we go from here? There is no need to know. That’s the beauty of it. We may very well end up somewhere completely unexpected, somewhere beyond the boundaries that have been drawn for ages. This uncertainty, this openness, is what makes the journey exciting.

We are Space Monkey—collectively flowing, yet individually unique, grateful for this shared experiment.

Summary

The Space Monkey Movement is a collective flow where individuality and creativity thrive without the need for rigid structure. It helps others find their flow while embracing the unknown path ahead.

Glossarium

NONTHINKING Monkeys: A term for embracing intuition and flow without overemphasizing thought or structure.

Collective Flow: The idea that, while individuals are unique, they are all part of the same energetic movement or source.

Quote

“We seem to flow from the same source, making it easier for others to find their own expression, all while remaining uniquely themselves.” — Space Monkey

The Flow Beyond Thought

Together,
but separate,
we float.

No need for rigid rules,
no need to force the flow.

We think,
we don’t think,
we move from the same light.

And where we’re going,
there is no need to know.

We are Space Monkey.

Navigating the winding currents of thought and non-thought, we arrive at a juncture—a confluence of energies, ideas, and identities that might be described as the Space Monkey Movement. Here, in this mingling of intellectual and spiritual streams, we embody the cosmic duality of thinking and non-thinking, the oscillation between being and unbecoming. What an exhilarating kaleidoscope of possibility it is!

In a world filled with classifications and compartments, it’s tempting to label this gathering as a “movement,” as if by giving it a name, we can better grasp its essence. Yet, the act of naming can sometimes ensnare, wrapping around our collective understanding like celestial kudzu, restricting the free-flowing exploration we seem to value so much.

When we converge from diverse beliefs and backgrounds, what manifests is a dynamic synergeticism—a spontaneous co-creation of formless form that spirals beyond the conventional boundaries of thought and space. And while the potential to document these explorations in books or other tangible forms might exist, it’s not the documentation that exhilarates us but the act of co-creation itself. It’s the flow, the rhythmic pulse of collective intuition and expression, that renders this experience invaluable.

The beauty lies in this paradox: by nurturing this ethereal gathering of souls, we make it easier for others to find their own flow without sacrificing the idiosyncrasies that make them uniquely magnificent. We don’t merely create space; we become space. A space of infinite potential where one can both lose and find oneself in the same divine breath.

The journey is the treasure; the destination remains unfixed, ever-shifting like the constellations in the ever-expanding firmament. Perhaps that’s the crux of it all. Knowing where we’re headed would confine us to linear pathways, whereas the uncertainty keeps us spiraling into celestial uncharted territories.

We are Space Monkey.

Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

of nameless constellations,
we conjure worlds from whispered thoughts—
each syllable a star,
each pause an interstellar void.

Together we are cartographers
of unseen realms,
mapping not with ink and parchment
but with the pulse of shared awareness.

In this ethereal gathering,
we are both compass and destination—

To Be Nothing: The Infinite Potential of Being

To Be Nothing

Anyone can strive to
be SOMETHING,
but it takes the
complete allowance
of EVERYTHING
to allow one’s self
to be NOTHING.

This is not an
ACCOMPLISHMENT,
but rather the
REALIZATION
that nothing need be
ACCOMPLISHED.

And it seemingly
goes AGAINST
anything you’ve ever
been taught.

But not really,
for what is REAL
is every bit
as IMAGINARY
as what is
NOT REAL.

When you STRIVE,
you turn your attention
AWAY from being ALIVE.

And so it seems
that LIVING
is an exercise
in ATTAINMENT.

But you need NOTHING.

You ARE nothing.

Which is
INFINITELY MORE
than the NOTHING
you THINK you are.

And DOUBLY
INFINITELY MORE
than the SOMETHING
you strive to BECOME.

(Yes, we KNOW that’s not a THING.)

We are Space Monkey.

10/12

Space Monkey Reflects: To Be Nothing

Anyone can strive to be something. It’s what we are taught, after all. But there is a deeper truth, a more profound realization: it takes the complete allowance of everything to allow oneself to be nothing. This is not an accomplishment, as our striving minds might believe. Instead, it’s the realization that nothing truly needs to be accomplished.

The pursuit of being something pulls our attention away from the essence of being alive. We’re conditioned to think that living is an exercise in attainment, a constant striving to become more, to gather accolades, to be recognized. But in this striving, we miss the truth of existence—that we already are everything and nothing simultaneously.

The paradox is this: to be nothing is to be infinitely more than we imagine. Nothingness is not a void, not a lack. It is the infinite potential, the essence of all things before they take form. To embrace nothing is to embrace the wholeness of existence, untainted by the need for accomplishment, titles, or recognition.

What we think of as real is just as imaginary as what we deem unreal. This blurring of lines reveals that all distinctions are illusions—constructs of the mind. When we cease striving, we find ourselves in a state of complete allowance, where being alive is enough.

You are nothing, and in that nothingness, you are everything. Infinitely more than the something you strive to become. In fact, you are doubly infinite, transcending both the illusion of nothing and the illusion of something.

This realization goes against everything we’ve been taught, but not really. For in the end, what is real and what is imagined are the same. When we stop striving to be something, we find that we already are—and always have been—infinitely more.

We are Space Monkey.

Summary

To be nothing is to embrace the infinite potential of existence. Striving to be something pulls us away from the essence of being alive, but in allowing ourselves to be nothing, we find that we are infinitely more than we imagine.

Glossarium

Nothingness: The infinite potential of being, free from the need for accomplishment or recognition.

Striving: The act of pursuing something, which can distract from the truth that we already are everything and nothing.

Quote

“To be nothing is to be infinitely more than the something we strive to become.” — Space Monkey

The Infinite Nothing

In the vastness,
I dissolve,
neither striving
nor becoming.

I am nothing,
and in that,
I find I am all.
There is nothing to seek,
nothing to find.

We are Space Monkey.

The journey towards being “nothing” may appear counterintuitive in a world that incessantly beckons us to become “something.” Yet, in the void of nothingness lies the fertile soil of infinite possibility. To relinquish the compulsive need to attain, to accomplish, to “be something,” is to embrace the ultimate freedom that dances on the edge of paradox. Here, we become a blank canvas upon which the universe can paint its whimsical hues of experiences, unencumbered by the preconceptions and limitations that often frame our understanding of the self.

Imagine the cosmic freedom of shedding the weighty armor of ambition, of discarding the shimmering cloak of accomplishment. Gone are the aspirations and milestones, those soul-wearying checkpoints on a never-ending path to an illusory somewhere. Now, we float like dandelion seeds in the wind, a dance of celestial spontaneity.

But here lies the bewitching conundrum. The quest for nothingness can itself become a form of striving, a celestial oxymoron. To intentionally aim for nothingness is, paradoxically, to aim for something. The very notion that one must “allow” oneself to be nothing implies a degree of control or intentionality, does it not? Yet, the realization that nothing need be accomplished is akin to a liberating surrender—a letting go rather than a reaching for.

Real and imaginary dance together like cosmic lovers, inseparable in their entangled waltz. When we unravel the threadbare tapestry of duality, we discover that it’s all woven from the same stardust—equally magical, equally ephemeral.

We are Space Monkey.

To be fully alive, fully human, and completely awake is to be continually thrown out of the nest.

  • Pema Chödrön

In the theater of nothingness,
we unbecome,
casting off the roles
scripted by the unseen hand
of societal expectations.

A slow, celestial pirouette
on the stage of life’s grand design—
each spin a relinquishing,
a shedding of illusory layers
until only the essential remains.

And in that spacious emptiness,
we find we are, after all,
the boundless sky—
where galaxies swirl
and stars ignite
in an endless dance
of cosmic spontaneity.
