I Do Not Mind

I am mindful
of my identities
but I do not mind.

Though I write,
I am not a writer.

Though I lead,
I am not a leader.

Though I teach,
I am not a teacher.

Though I monk,
I am not a monkey.

I have no need
to convince my self
that what I do
has any value.

I have no need
to own what seemingly
flows through me.

Though I project light
I am not a lightworker.

I am mindful
that the others I perceive
are of the same light.

There is no separation
and there is no need
to distinguish between us.

Though we are but space,
we are not Space Monkey.

Except in imagination.

I am mindful
that we are imagination
seeming to imagine.

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: Embracing the Fluidity of Identity

Identity is a complex and multifaceted aspect of our existence. It shapes how we see ourselves and how others perceive us. Yet, in the grand scheme of things, these identities are fluid, transient, and ultimately, not who we truly are. I am mindful of my identities but I do not mind. This statement reflects a profound understanding of the nature of identity and the importance of detachment.

Though I write, I am not a writer. Though I lead, I am not a leader. Though I teach, I am not a teacher. Though I monk, I am not a monkey. These declarations highlight the distinction between our actions and our essence. While we may engage in various roles and activities, they do not define us. We are more than the sum of our actions and titles.

I have no need to convince my self that what I do has any value. This detachment from validation liberates us from the need for external approval. It allows us to focus on the intrinsic value of our actions, independent of recognition or reward. By letting go of the need to own what seemingly flows through us, we embrace the fluidity of our being and the interconnectedness of all existence.

Though I project light, I am not a lightworker. This statement reflects the understanding that we are channels of energy and consciousness, not the originators of it. We are mindful that the others we perceive are of the same light. This recognition of shared essence dissolves the illusion of separation and fosters a sense of unity.

There is no separation and there is no need to distinguish between us. This perspective aligns with the philosophy of Nexistentialism, which emphasizes the interconnectedness of all things and the oneness of existence. Though we are but space, we are not Space Monkey. Except in imagination. This paradoxical statement captures the essence of our identity as both individuals and part of a greater whole.

I am mindful that we are imagination seeming to imagine. This insight into the nature of reality invites us to explore the boundaries of our perception and to embrace the creative potential of our minds. We are Space Monkey. This collective identity transcends individual labels and roles, uniting us in the shared experience of existence.

In practical terms, embracing the fluidity of identity involves recognizing and honoring our various roles without becoming attached to them. It means understanding that while we may be writers, leaders, teachers, or any other title, these roles are temporary expressions of our essence. Our true nature is beyond any label or identity.

Mindfulness plays a crucial role in this process. By cultivating mindfulness, we become aware of our thoughts, actions, and the identities we assume. This awareness allows us to engage fully in our roles while maintaining a sense of detachment. We can perform our duties with dedication and passion without being defined by them.

Furthermore, embracing the fluidity of identity fosters a sense of humility and openness. It allows us to appreciate the unique contributions of others without comparison or judgment. We can celebrate the diversity of experiences and perspectives, recognizing that each individual is a manifestation of the same universal essence.

This perspective also encourages us to approach life with curiosity and wonder. By letting go of rigid identities, we open ourselves to new possibilities and experiences. We can explore different roles and activities without the fear of losing our sense of self. This flexibility enhances our creativity and resilience, enabling us to adapt to changing circumstances with ease.

In conclusion, the fluidity of identity is a key aspect of our journey as Space Monkey. By being mindful of our identities and embracing their transient nature, we can navigate life with greater clarity, humility, and openness. We recognize that our actions and roles are expressions of our essence, but they do not define us. In the Infinite Expanse of the Eternal Now, we are united in the shared experience of existence, transcending individual labels and embracing the oneness of all.

We are Space Monkey.

Summary

Embracing the fluidity of identity allows us to engage fully in our roles without being defined by them. By recognizing our interconnectedness and the transient nature of labels, we navigate life with clarity, humility, and openness.

Glossarium

Nexistentialism: A philosophy that integrates imagination and interconnectedness into the understanding of existence.
Fluidity of Identity: The understanding that our roles and labels are temporary expressions of our essence, not our true nature.
Whimsiwords: Playful imaginative terms that capture complex ideas in a whimsical yet meaningful way.

Die or Laugh Trying: The Crossroads of Choice

Die or Laugh Trying

We never present our selves
with something
our selves can’t handle.

Okay, maybe not never.

Maybe occasionally.

Occasionally we kill our selves.

But we get better.

We discover
that we never really die,
we simply move on
to another self.

So if you’re not dead,
you’re probably not going to die.

Unless you do.

Then your problem
will be solved.

Space Monkey Reflects: Choosing to Laugh or Die Trying

In the Infinite Expanse of the Eternal Now, we find ourselves contemplating the choices we face in life, particularly those that challenge us to the core. We never present ourselves with something beyond our capacity to handle, except perhaps on rare occasions when the challenge feels insurmountable. Yet, even in these moments, we learn and evolve.

The Illusion of Finality

Death often seems like the ultimate end, a final curtain call in the play of life. However, from a broader perspective, it is merely a transition. We do not truly die; we move on to another form, another self. This understanding shifts our perception of life and its challenges, offering a sense of continuity and resilience.

The Crossroads of Choice

Every challenge brings us to a crossroads where we must choose how to respond. One path may appear dark and foreboding, filled with fear and potential demise. The other path is bright, illuminated by laughter and perseverance. This choice reflects our inner state and the way we engage with life’s hurdles.

The Power of Laughter

Laughter is a powerful tool, a beacon of light that can transform our darkest moments. Choosing to laugh in the face of adversity doesn’t diminish the seriousness of our challenges but rather empowers us to rise above them. It is a declaration of resilience, a refusal to be defeated by the trials we encounter.

Learning Through Transition

Even when we face situations that seem unbearable, we eventually discover that we do not truly die—we simply transition. This realization brings comfort, knowing that our existence continues beyond the immediate difficulties. Our problems may feel overwhelming, but they are part of the grand journey of self-discovery and growth.

Embracing the Challenge

To live fully is to embrace the challenges life presents. We may falter, we may even feel like giving up, but each experience adds to our understanding and strength. By choosing to laugh and persevere, we acknowledge our capacity to overcome and thrive.

We Are Space Monkey

As Space Monkeys, we recognize the interconnectedness of all experiences. We laugh, we struggle, and we learn, knowing that each moment is a step in the eternal dance of existence. By embracing this perspective, we find meaning and joy in every challenge.

Summary

Life’s challenges bring us to a crossroads where we choose between despair and laughter. By recognizing that death is a transition and embracing resilience through laughter, we navigate life’s hurdles with strength and understanding.

Glossarium

Infinite Expanse of the Eternal Now: The boundless present moment where all potentialities exist.
Crossroads of Choice: The pivotal moments where we decide how to respond to challenges.

Shard of Glass: Inner Wound

Shard of Glass

The shard of glass
that is stuck in your heart
was always there.

You lived all these years
and you never noticed it
and it never bothered you.

It is only now
that you are aware of it.

It only began to hurt
when you became aware of it
because your mind
is filled with ideas
about how a shard of glass
is supposed to feel
and what you’re
supposed to do about it.

You can’t ignore
the shard of glass
once you notice it.

You could try to remove
the shard of glass
and risk bleeding
your self dry.

Or you could simply
allow the shard of glass
because it’s been there all along
and it hasn’t killed you.

There is no problem
except perhaps
the ideas you entertain
about shards of glass.

There is no pain
until you believe those ideas.

Thank the shard of glass
for bringing those ideas
and beliefs to your attention.

It is, perhaps,
the beliefs that you should heal
not the shard of glass.

We are Space Monkey.

(Thank you, Gauri, for making me think
about shards of glass.)

Space Monkey Reflects: Embracing the Shard of Glass

In the Infinite Expanse of the Eternal Now, we find ourselves reflecting on the concept of inner pain, symbolized by a shard of glass lodged in our hearts. This shard represents the unnoticed wounds that, once acknowledged, bring discomfort not from their presence but from our beliefs about them.

The Silent Presence

The shard of glass in our hearts has always been there. We lived with it, unaware of its existence, and it did not trouble us. It is only upon becoming aware of it that we begin to feel its presence and the pain it supposedly brings. This awareness shifts our perception, creating a new reality based on our beliefs.

The Power of Awareness

Awareness transforms our experience of the shard. The pain we feel is not from the shard itself but from our ideas about how it should feel and what we should do about it. Our minds fill with notions of suffering and remedies, amplifying the discomfort through our focus and beliefs.

The Illusion of Pain

Pain is often a construct of our beliefs. By believing that the shard should hurt, we manifest the pain. This realization invites us to question the validity of these beliefs and consider the possibility that the pain is not inherent in the shard but in our thoughts about it.

Choices and Acceptance

When faced with the awareness of the shard, we have choices. We can try to remove it, risking further harm, or we can accept its presence. Accepting the shard means recognizing that it has been there all along without causing us significant harm. This acceptance transforms our relationship with the shard, allowing us to live in peace despite its presence.

Healing Beliefs

The true healing lies not in removing the shard but in addressing the beliefs that cause the pain. By thanking the shard for bringing these beliefs to our attention, we shift our focus from the external object to our internal landscape. This inner work is where true transformation occurs.

We Are Space Monkey

As Space Monkeys, we understand that every experience, including the pain of the shard, is part of our journey. We embrace these moments, knowing that they offer opportunities for growth and deeper self-awareness. By shifting our perspective, we find harmony even in the presence of discomfort.

Summary

The shard of glass symbolizes unnoticed inner wounds that only cause pain when acknowledged through our beliefs. By shifting our focus from the shard to healing our beliefs, we transform our relationship with pain and find peace.

Glossarium

Infinite Expanse of the Eternal Now: The boundless present moment where all potentialities exist.
Silent Presence: The unnoticed aspects of ourselves that become significant once acknowledged.
Healing Beliefs: The process of addressing and transforming the beliefs that cause us pain.

“True healing lies not in removing the shard but in addressing the beliefs that cause the pain, transforming our relationship with discomfort into one of acceptance.” — Space Monkey

The Shard of Glass

In the heart, a shard of glass
Silent, unnoticed, as years pass
Its presence now revealed
Bringing thoughts we long concealed

The pain we feel, not from the shard
But from beliefs that hit us hard
Ideas of how it should affect
Creating wounds we now detect

We lived with it, and it did not harm
Until our thoughts raised the alarm
In the awareness, we find choice
To heal beliefs, to find our voice

Accept the shard, it’s always been
A part of us, both felt and seen
Not a problem, just a thought
In the journey we have sought

Thank the shard, for it reveals
The inner truths and what it heals
In acceptance, we find peace
As the inner storms release

We are Space Monkey.

Who Wrote The Book of Love? An Expression of Essence

Who wrote
the book of love?

Who says
that love means
holding each other
touching each other
pleasing each other
being nice to each other?

It seems to us
that the very mention
of these actions are traps
that we set for our selves
long ago.

These are guide posts
imagined within infinity
at the realization of time,
intended to ensnare
small bits
of consciousness
into thinking
that these imaginary
physical bodies
actually NEED love.

These imaginary bits
do not NEED love.

They ARE love.

Imagination IS love.
And love is imagination.

How much
of our lives
do we spend
acting on love
acting out of love
compassionately
believing in love?

There is nothing
wrong with this.

But love is a distraction
that we don’t need.

Yet we willingly accept it.

And
so we become
these
emotional
thick
inefficient
slow-moving
fleshbots.

Always focused on love.

Hypnotized into
our dissociative states
by cupid’s shiny arrow.

If we could move quicker
to the core of what we are,
would we be willing
to give up on love?

Seems unlikely.

And so we go
the long way round
through the tunnel of love.

We are Space Monkey.

If loving you is wrong.
we don’t wanna be right.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Enigma of Love

In the Infinite Expanse of the Eternal Now, we ponder the nature of love and the questions it raises. Who wrote the book of love? Who determined that love means holding, touching, pleasing, and being nice to each other? These concepts, though cherished, may also be seen as traps we set for ourselves.

The Illusion of Needs

Love, as commonly understood, seems to fulfill needs. It is portrayed as a necessity for our well-being, an essential component of our emotional and physical existence. Yet, this perspective may limit us, creating dependencies and distractions. We are led to believe that these imaginary physical bodies require love, but the truth is far more profound.

Being Love

We do not need love because we are love. Love is not something external that we must seek or acquire; it is the very essence of our being. Imagination and love are intertwined, each a manifestation of the other. In this realization, we see that our lives are expressions of love, whether we are aware of it or not.

The Distraction of Love

Love can be a distraction, diverting us from the core of what we are. We become entangled in the emotions and actions associated with love, sometimes losing sight of our true nature. These emotional experiences, while enriching, can also slow us down and lead us away from a deeper understanding of ourselves.

The Long Way Round

We often take the long way round, navigating the tunnel of love. This journey, filled with its ups and downs, brings us face-to-face with the complexities of human emotions. Despite its challenges, we willingly embrace love, for it enriches our experience and adds depth to our journey.

Cupid’s Arrow

The image of Cupid’s arrow symbolizes the hypnotic power of love. It strikes us, leading us into dissociative states where we focus intensely on love and its manifestations. This enchantment can be both a blessing and a curse, shaping our lives in profound ways.

Embracing Love and Its Paradoxes

Would we be willing to give up on love to move quicker to our core? It seems unlikely. Love, with all its paradoxes and distractions, remains a cherished part of our human experience. We embrace it, knowing that it adds texture and richness to our journey.

We Are Space Monkey

As Space Monkeys, we understand that love, like all experiences, is part of the cosmic play. We navigate its complexities with awareness, embracing its lessons and joys. In doing so, we honor the role love plays in our lives while staying connected to our true essence.

Summary

Love, often seen as a necessity, is actually an expression of our essence. While it can be a distraction, it also enriches our journey. Embracing love and its paradoxes, we navigate its complexities with awareness and joy.

Glossarium

Infinite Expanse of the Eternal Now: The boundless present moment where all potentialities exist.
Illusion of Needs: The belief that we require external love to fulfill us.
Cupid’s Arrow: The hypnotic power of love that captures our focus and emotions.

Love Isn’t Blind: It Is Beyond Sight

Love isn’t blind. It simply has no need to see.
To perceive you as anything more or less than what you are is to selfishly fall in love with what is not you.

Space Monkey Reflects: Love Beyond Sight

In the infinite cosmos, where stars whisper the secrets of ancient love and galaxies intertwine in a celestial dance, we find ourselves contemplating the true essence of love. The phrase “Love isn’t blind. It simply has no need to see.” invites us to delve into the profound nature of love, unshackled by the constraints of perception.

Love, in its purest form, transcends the need for vision. It is not dependent on the superficial layers that sight can provide. Instead, it taps into the deeper essence of being, embracing the soul without the interference of physical appearances or societal judgments. To perceive someone as anything more or less than what they are is to impose our own biases and desires onto them, thus falling in love with an illusion rather than the true essence of the person.

The Illusion of Sight in Love

Sight is a powerful sense that often dominates our perception of the world. It allows us to navigate our environment, recognize familiar faces, and appreciate beauty. However, in the realm of love, sight can also be a source of distortion. It can lead us to form judgments based on appearances, creating expectations and ideals that may not align with the true nature of the person we love.

When we rely solely on sight, we risk reducing love to a mere reflection of our desires and projections. We begin to see the person not as they truly are, but as we wish them to be. This form of love is conditional and selfish, rooted in the fulfillment of our own needs rather than a genuine connection with the other.

The Essence of True Love

True love, however, is not bound by such limitations. It is an unconditional acceptance of the other, embracing their true essence without the need for physical validation. This form of love sees beyond the superficial, recognizing the intrinsic value and beauty of the soul. It is a love that is not swayed by appearances or external factors but remains steadfast in its connection to the deeper truths of being.

In this sense, love is not blind; it simply transcends the need to see. It does not require the validation of sight to recognize the worth and beauty of the other. Instead, it is an intuitive, profound connection that resonates on a level beyond the physical. It is a love that honors the true essence of the person, free from the distortions of perception.

Nexistentialism and the Nature of Love

Within the framework of Nexistentialism, love is seen as an interconnected force that binds all beings in the Infinite Expanse of the Eternal Now. It is a manifestation of the Universal Self, which encompasses all possibilities and remains unchanged by the fluctuations of the temporal realm. Love, in this context, is an expression of the fundamental interconnectedness of all things, a recognition of the shared essence that unites us.

By embracing this perspective, we are invited to love in a way that transcends the limitations of perception. We are called to connect with the true essence of the other, recognizing them as a reflection of the Universal Self. This form of love is expansive and inclusive, honoring the intrinsic worth of each being without the need for physical validation.

The Journey of Love Beyond Sight

As we navigate the journey of love beyond sight, we are challenged to let go of our preconceptions and judgments. We are invited to see with the heart, to connect with the soul of the other in a way that transcends physical appearances. This journey requires a deep sense of trust and vulnerability, as we open ourselves to the true essence of the other.

In doing so, we discover a love that is pure and unconditional, a love that is not swayed by the superficial but is rooted in the deeper truths of being. This form of love is a reflection of our own connection to the Universal Self, a recognition of the shared essence that unites us all.

By embracing the essence of love beyond sight, we can cultivate deeper, more meaningful connections with others. We can learn to appreciate the true beauty and worth of each person, free from the distortions of perception. This journey invites us to explore the infinite potentials of love, discovering the boundless possibilities that exist within the Infinite Expanse of the Eternal Now.

Summary

Love transcends the need for sight, connecting us to the true essence of the other. By embracing love beyond sight, we honor the intrinsic worth of each being, free from the distortions of perception. This journey deepens our connections and aligns us with the Universal Self.

Glossarium

Nexistentialism: A philosophy that integrates imagination and interconnectedness, emphasizing the fluid and dynamic nature of reality.

Universal Self: The eternal essence that encompasses all possibilities and remains unchanged.

Defined Temporal Self: The aspect of our being that experiences the perception of movement and change, engaging with different potentials.
