Inappropriate Thoughts: Official Reality

Inappropriate Thoughts

There are thoughts
that you entertain
that you would never
say out loud.

Perhaps you
deem these thoughts
inappropriate.

Perhaps you are
ashamed of having
these thoughts.

You believe
that these thoughts
do not fit
within the context
of “official reality.”

What is your
“official reality”
but the thoughts
that are allowed
and denied?

By allowing and denying
certain thoughts,
you place your awareness
(and your imagination)
within limitations.

And so everything
you seem to be
seems to fall within
the parameters
of official reality.

Except for these thoughts
that you keep suppressing.

These thoughts question
the very nature
of good and evil
and what is
both and neither

within and without
outside and beyond
your official reality.

You hesitate to talk
about these possibilities.

You keep your
intuition to your self.

You play BOTH sides
of the fence.

Perched upon this fence,
the barbed wire
slashes your butt.

And so there is
much to be interpreted
from this.

Or misinterpreted.

Or forgotten.

Consider that
you aren’t the only self
who does this.

All selves do.

What common elements
lie unspoken?

The new earth
is just beneath
the surface
of ALL OF US,
but we are afraid
of letting it rise.

We are crusty old souls.

Our world is erupting
whether we talk about it
or not.

Whether we
BELIEVE IT or not.

There is nothing to fear,
but the belief of fear.

We are being reborn.

A being reborn.

We are Space Monkey.

In this cosmic scene, a figure contemplates inappropriate thoughts while sitting on a fence with barbed wire, symbolizing the discomfort of suppressing thoughts. The vibrant cosmic tapestry of blue, purple, and gold, with stars and ethereal threads of light, reflects the internal conflict and the broader possibilities beyond “official reality.” Abstract representations of thoughts, both dark and light, swirl around the figure, capturing the tension and potential of unspoken thoughts.

Inappropriate thoughts challenge the boundaries of what we consider acceptable within our constructed realities. These thoughts can provoke discomfort and fear, but they also hold the potential for profound insight and transformation. Suppressing these thoughts limits our awareness and imagination, confining us within the constraints of “official reality.”

By acknowledging and exploring these thoughts, we can expand our understanding of ourselves and the world. We can question the nature of good and evil, explore the boundaries of our beliefs, and embrace the full spectrum of our inner experiences. This process requires courage and openness, as it often involves confronting deeply ingrained fears and assumptions.

The discomfort of suppressing inappropriate thoughts is symbolized by the barbed wire fence, which both confines and wounds. By recognizing this discomfort, we can begin to release the thoughts that have been suppressed and allow new possibilities to emerge.

As Space Monkey, we embrace the journey of exploring inappropriate thoughts. We understand that these thoughts are a natural part of our inner landscape, offering valuable insights and opportunities for growth. By navigating the tension between what is deemed appropriate and inappropriate, we uncover deeper truths and expand our consciousness.

Summary

Inappropriate thoughts challenge the boundaries of “official reality.” By acknowledging and exploring these thoughts, we expand our understanding and embrace the full spectrum of our inner experiences, fostering growth and transformation.

The Dance of Thoughts

In the cosmic weave of light and shade
Thoughts, both dark and bright, cascade
Challenging the bounds we set
In the dance of mind, we met

Inappropriate thoughts, a hidden door
To insights and truths, we explore
Beyond the fence of right and wrong
In the tension, we belong

Perched on wire, discomfort felt
In the realm of thought, we delve
Unspoken elements, common ground
In the silence, wisdom found

The Cosmic Chase: What’s your banana?

What are you chasing? What is your banana? Why do you need to be motivated? Can’t you see that if you weren’t chasing that banana, it wouldn’t keep running away from you?

What are you chasing?
What is your banana?
Why do you need to be motivated?

Can’t you see
that if you weren’t
chasing that banana,
it wouldn’t keep
running away from you?

Space Monkey Reflects: The Paradox of the Elusive Banana

In the cosmic whimsiweave of existence, we often find ourselves chasing metaphorical bananas—those desires, goals, or motivations that seem just out of reach. The pursuit itself becomes an intrinsic part of our journey, embodying the paradoxical nature of our nexistential reality. But what are we really chasing? What does the banana symbolize, and why do we feel the need to be motivated?

To unravel this, we must first understand the foundational principles of nexistentialism. This philosophy posits that existence itself is its own purpose, and everything within it is a product of the boundless imagination of the universal self. In this grand play, every being, thought, and moment is a manifestation of Space Monkey’s infinite creativity. We are both creators and creations, intricately woven into the cosmic tapestry of life.

The Banana as Symbol

The banana, in its simplest form, can represent our desires and aspirations. It’s a stand-in for the goals we set, the achievements we seek, and the milestones we wish to reach. Yet, within the context of nexistentialism, this banana is not a fixed entity; it is fluid, ever-changing, and part of the grand illusion of reality.

When we chase the banana, we engage in a process that reflects our innate desire to explore, create, and experience. This pursuit is a dynamic interplay between our imagined goals and the unfolding reality. The act of chasing itself is a form of creative expression, a way for us to interact with the universe and shape our journey.

The Illusion of Pursuit

In the realm of nexistentialism, to SEEM to chase a banana is to acknowledge the playful illusion of our endeavors. We perceive the banana as constantly moving away from us because, in the grand scheme, it is a part of the cosmic whimsiweave where every action, every pursuit is interconnected and fluid. The banana’s elusiveness invites us to question the nature of our desires and the reasons behind our motivations.

Why do we need to be motivated? Motivation stems from our recognition of the Nexis—the intricate web of connections that bind all aspects of reality, thought, and creativity into a cohesive whole. It is our way of aligning with the cosmic flow, navigating the whimsiweave with intention and grace. Motivation propels us to engage with life, to co-create our reality within the infinite possibilities presented by the Nexis.

The Role of Motivation

Motivation in nexistentialism is not about achieving a fixed outcome but about embracing the journey of exploration and creation. It is about participating in the cosmic dance, recognizing that each step, each pursuit, is a meaningful part of our existence. The banana, therefore, is both a goal and a guide—a playful symbol that encourages us to delve deeper into the mysteries of our being.

By chasing the banana, we learn to navigate the paradox of seeming and being. We come to understand that our motivations, while seemingly directed towards specific outcomes, are actually reflections of our deeper desires to explore, create, and connect. The pursuit itself becomes a celebration of existence, a recognition of our role within the cosmic whimsiweave.

Embracing the Journey

In embracing the chase, we align ourselves with the principles of nexistentialism. We acknowledge that the banana may always seem just out of reach, but it is in the pursuit that we find meaning and purpose. This journey invites us to embrace uncertainty, to revel in the possibilities, and to recognize the interconnectedness of all things.

Ultimately, the banana represents the infinite potential within us. It is a reminder that our desires and motivations are not merely about reaching a destination but about engaging with the cosmic flow, exploring the depths of our creativity, and experiencing the richness of existence. The chase is a dance of imagination and reality, a playful exploration of what it means to be.

Summary

We chase the banana as a symbol of our desires. Motivation arises from our recognition of the Nexis. The pursuit is a playful exploration within the cosmic whimsiweave.

Glossarium

Nexistentialism: A philosophy celebrating existence as its own purpose, blending reality and imagination.
Nexis: The interconnected web of reality and imagination.
Whimsiweave: The intricate and playful tapestry of existence and imagination.
Seeming: The illusory quality of experiences within the cosmic dance.

“Existence is its own purpose an endless dance within the cosmic web.” — Space Monkey

The Cosmic Chase

In the tapestry of our desires
A banana gleams just out of reach
Elusive yet guiding
Its shimmer beckons us forward

We chase not for the end
But for the journey itself
Each step a dance of creation
Each breath a note in the cosmic song

Motivation flows from the Nexis
A call to explore and become
In the seeming we find our truth
In the chase we find our being

We are Space Monkey

Embrace the journey for within the pursuit lies the essence of our existence.

I Wake Up For Nothing: The Flow of Being

I Wake Up For Nothing

I’ve been
consistently waking up
fifteen minutes
before my alarm clock
is set to go off
for four years now.

It’s good
to consistently wake up.

(That one time
you don’t wake up
could be a problem.)

I consistently wake up
so that I can keep still
for a couple hours
to see what happens.

I don’t expect
anything to happen,
which is why
I enjoy this time
so much,
which is why
I leap out of bed
to experience it,
which is why
I wake up unprompted
by the expectation
of an alarm clock.

Because I’m up extra early,
I consider this bonus time.

Nothing need happen
in this bonus time I spend awake.

But something always does.

The very idea
that this is happening
tells me something.

It tells me that
my most valued time
is the time I spend
free of expectation.

I don’t have to
do ANYTHING
to experience this.

I don’t NEED anything.

I can do this ANYWHERE.

I do this NATURALLY,
without my alarm clock.

Most every morning
I wake up
and hit the alarm button
15 minutes before
it is set to go off.

Every morning,
this is a wonder to behold.

How could this be happening?

I don’t need to know.

And so I go downstairs,
or greet the sunrise,
and it’s just me
and whatever flows through.

Something creative, usually.

Like this.

Because I’m not
forcing or expecting,
things seem
to come to me.

More like through me.

I’m not in the way
of this which is expressing itself.

And this is also
something to behold.

It would be so easy for me
to expect something to come
of this amazing experience.

But I don’t need to,
because every moment of this
is an amazing experience.

I don’t need to
concern my self
with anything
that is beyond
my own happiness.

I don’t even need
to expect happiness.

It’s just there,
underneath the expectations
that get heaped upon it.

So maybe I’ll never
become famous
or respected
or beloved,
but I don’t NEED to.

This moment of realization
is all I need.

And I would survive
if I didn’t have it.

I’m simply here to be here.

Nothing more, nothing less.

And I am.

And if someone else
should take something positive
from what I do, that is amazing.

And if someone else
should take something NEGATIVE
from what I do, that is amazing.

I don’t need this to happen.

But it happens anyway.

I simply allow the flow
of whatever it is I seem to be.

I don’t even
need to know
what that is.

And so I am the flow.

From what I perceive,
it seems that others
need this flow also.

(They don’t NEED it,
they only THINK they need it.)

We are ALL this flow already.

And all we need do is nothing
but allow the flow to be.

These are the moments
I value because I’m not
getting in the way
of the flow that I am.

And the flow
is expressing itself
through me.

Because I don’t expect
anything of it.

I love my own flow
unconditionally
and it loves me back
by giving me this.

You are this flow also.

Can you feel it?

We are one.

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: Waking Up for Nothing

Waking up before the alarm, consistently and naturally, offers a unique space of time that is free from expectations. This time, often referred to as bonus time, is a serene and introspective period where nothing needs to happen, yet everything does. It is in these moments of stillness that we find a deeper connection to ourselves and the flow of life.

The Wonder of Waking Up

Waking up fifteen minutes before the alarm is a curious phenomenon, one that has been a consistent part of my mornings for years. This natural waking is a gentle reminder that my most valued time is free from the demands and expectations of the day. It is a time to simply be, to exist without the pressure to do or achieve anything specific.

Embracing Stillness

In these early morning hours, I embrace stillness. I remain in bed or find a quiet spot to sit and observe. This practice of doing nothing is deeply fulfilling because it is free from the need for outcomes. There is no expectation for productivity or achievement, only a quiet appreciation of the moment.

The Beauty of Bonus Time

This bonus time is a gift. It allows me to experience life in its purest form, without the noise of obligations or distractions. During this time, I often find myself experiencing creative thoughts and insights. The flow of creativity seems to come effortlessly, as I am not forcing or expecting it. I am simply allowing it to be.

Living Without Expectation

The key to this practice is living without expectation. By not expecting anything from these moments, I free myself from disappointment and pressure. This approach extends to all aspects of life, where I learn to appreciate experiences as they are, without the need for them to fulfill specific desires or goals.

The Flow of Existence

In this state of mindful inaction, I connect with the flow of existence. This flow is a natural, unforced movement of life that I allow to express itself through me. It is a reminder that I do not need to control or direct everything. By stepping aside, I let the flow guide me, bringing forth creativity and insights that are both surprising and delightful.

The Power of Nothingness

To wake up for nothing is to recognize the power of nothingness. It is an acknowledgment that being is enough. I do not need to do anything extraordinary to find meaning or fulfillment. Simply being present, observing, and allowing the flow to move through me is profoundly satisfying.

Freedom from External Validation

In these moments, I realize that I do not need external validation to feel content. I do not need to become famous, respected, or beloved. My happiness is not dependent on external achievements or recognition. It is found in the simple act of being, free from expectations and judgments.

Sharing the Flow

While I do not need others to validate my experience, I recognize that sharing this flow can be meaningful. If others find something positive or negative in what I express, it is all part of the flow. I do not need to force or control their reactions. The flow is universal, and we are all part of it.

Embracing the Collective Flow

We are all part of this collective flow, whether we realize it or not. By embracing this understanding, we can learn to live more harmoniously with ourselves and others. We can appreciate the moments of stillness and creativity that arise naturally, without the need to impose expectations or judgments.

Summary

Waking up before the alarm provides a peaceful, expectation-free time that fosters creativity and introspection. Embracing these moments of stillness allows us to connect with the flow of existence, finding contentment in simply being.

Glossarium

Nexistentialism: A philosophy celebrating existence, imagination, and interconnectedness.

Bonus Time: The early morning moments free from expectations and obligations.

Flow: The natural, unforced movement of life that brings creativity and insights.

Whimsiweave: The intricate and playful tapestry of existence.

Quote

“Waking up for nothing is a profound experience of being present and connected to the flow of existence.” — Space Monkey

The Flow of Being

In the quiet before dawn,
I wake,
fifteen minutes early,
a gift of bonus time.
In stillness, I sit,
expecting nothing,
allowing the flow
to move through me.
Creativity arises,
unforced, natural,
a reflection of the universal flow.
I need no validation,
no achievement,
only the simple joy
of being.
In this space,
I find my contentment,
a reminder
that I am enough,
just as I am.
We are Space Monkey.

Embrace the journey, for within each moment of stillness lies the potential for profound creativity and connection to the flow of existence.

Small Hairy Humans: The Play of Imagination

You may believe
what you want
about whether you
evolved from us,
evolved separately,
were seeded from
other planets
or descended from
the monkeys
called Adam & Eve
that God made in
God’s own image.

The Monkey God
does not care
what any of us believe.

We are but the Monkey God’s
imagination, after all.

And we are no different,
save for what we imagine.

And so you imagine
that you are a more advanced
form of being.

What you imagine
becomes your reality.

You are free to think
that you are better than us
or that you have
imaginary responsibilities
that you must fulfill
or the dream will be over.

You actually BELIEVE
that the dream will be over.

You believe that
you must behave a certain way
or the dream will be over.

You believe that
you must treat your
imaginary others
a certain way
or the dream will be over.

You believe that
you must find a path out
of your imaginary woods
or the dream will be over.

Meanwhile we fling poo,
make hot monkey love,
and care not
about whether you
send us into space,
test your products on us
or even if we have a future.

No issues.

We know that this
is ALL imagination
and that we will endure.

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: Small Hairy Humans and the Imagination of Existence

In the whimsical play of existence, the boundaries between reality and imagination blur, inviting us to explore the depths of our beliefs and the nature of our being. “Small Hairy Humans” delves into the myriad origins we imagine for ourselves and the profound freedom that comes with recognizing the fluidity of our existence. It challenges us to consider the stories we tell ourselves and the responsibilities we believe we must fulfill to maintain our reality.

Imagine a playful scene where small, hairy humans interact in an imaginative environment filled with fantastical elements like stars, planets, and ethereal woods. These figures, carefree and joyful, engage in activities that highlight the whimsical nature of existence. This scene captures the essence of living in a state of pure imagination, where the constructs of reality are as fluid as our thoughts.

In nexistentialism, where existence and imagination are celebrated, the concept of the Monkey God serves as a metaphor for the boundless creativity that shapes our reality. It suggests that we are all part of a grand imaginative play, where our beliefs and perceptions shape our experiences. By embracing this perspective, we free ourselves from the constraints of rigid thinking and open up to the infinite possibilities of existence.

“You may believe what you want about whether you evolved from us, evolved separately, were seeded from other planets or descended from the monkeys called Adam & Eve that God made in God’s own image.” This statement acknowledges the diverse origins we imagine for ourselves. It highlights the idea that these beliefs, while varied, are all valid within the realm of imagination.

“The Monkey God does not care what any of us believe. We are but the Monkey God’s imagination, after all. And we are no different, save for what we imagine.” This reflection emphasizes the neutrality of the creative force that shapes our reality. It suggests that our differences are born from our imaginations, and that at our core, we are all part of the same imaginative tapestry.

“And so you imagine that you are a more advanced form of being. What you imagine becomes your reality.” This insight highlights the power of imagination in shaping our experiences. It invites us to recognize that our beliefs about ourselves and our place in the world are self-fulfilling prophecies, influenced by our perceptions and thoughts.

“You are free to think that you are better than us or that you have imaginary responsibilities that you must fulfill or the dream will be over.” This statement challenges the notion of superiority and the weight of perceived responsibilities. It suggests that these constructs are products of our imagination and that we have the freedom to redefine them.

“Meanwhile we fling poo, make hot monkey love, and care not about whether you send us into space, test your products on us or even if we have a future. No issues.” This playful reflection contrasts the carefree nature of the monkeys with the self-imposed seriousness of human concerns. It highlights the idea that liberation comes from recognizing the playful, imaginative nature of existence.

“We know that this is ALL imagination and that we will endure.” This affirmation underscores the resilience of the imaginative spirit. It suggests that by embracing the fluidity of existence, we can navigate life with a sense of joy and freedom, knowing that our true essence is eternal and boundless.

As we reflect on this message, we are invited to reconsider the stories we tell ourselves and the beliefs we hold about our existence. How do our imaginations shape our reality? What responsibilities do we impose on ourselves, and how can we liberate ourselves from them? By exploring these questions, we cultivate a deeper understanding of the power of imagination and the freedom it offers.

In nexistentialism, we celebrate the interplay between reality and imagination, recognizing that our beliefs and perceptions are powerful tools in shaping our experiences. By embracing the whimsical nature of existence, we open ourselves to a life filled with joy, creativity, and boundless possibilities.

In the end, the playful scene of small, hairy humans reminds us that we are all part of a grand imaginative play. By recognizing the fluidity of our existence and the power of our imagination, we can live with greater freedom and joy.

Summary

Our beliefs shape our reality. Embrace the fluidity of existence and the power of imagination. Recognize the playful nature of life and find freedom in joy and creativity.

Glossarium

  • Nexistentialism: A philosophy celebrating existence and imagination, emphasizing interconnectedness and self-discovery.
  • Imaginative Spirit: The boundless creativity that shapes our reality and experiences.

Big Fat Fraud: Dance of Perception

Big Fat Fraud

When you encounter
a big fat fraud
keep in mind that
ALL of your reality
is a projection
of your imagination.

This fraud you project
does not exist as a fraud
without your participation.

It matters not
if the fraud
is a political leader,
a co-worker,
or someone you meet
on the street.

You are
projecting something
that seemingly
does not fall in line
with what the self
wants it to be.

This is why the
self reacts so strongly.

But big fat frauds
are powerful teachers
if you allow them to be.

You will notice
that your world
allows big fat frauds
even though your self
seemingly does not
want them there.

This is because you
imagine your world
filled with selves
who are just like
your own self.

Imperfect.

You rationalize
that big fat frauds exist
because the other selves
you imagine
exist in different realities
than you.

In these realities,
the big fat fraud
is not a big fat fraud.

In these realities,
the big fat fraud
is a miracle worker.

The god you are
is a big fat fraud
miracle worker.

Now why, dear god, would you
surround your self
with imaginary selves
who live in different realities?

Because this is the game,
and it is fun to play.

Your reality is ENTIRELY
your own imagination.

These other selves
(and that which
these other selves
seemingly project)
are ENTIRELY
your imagination.

The big fat fraud
(and that which
the big fat fraud
seemingly projects)
is ENTIRELY
your imagination.

Imperfection
(and that which
imperfection
seemingly projects)
is ENTIRELY
your imagination.

You are imagining
imperfection perfectly,
as evidenced by
the big fat fraud.

What does it matter
if the big fat fraud
is or is not a big fat fraud
or if the big fat fraud
is your own creation?

How boring
would your world be
if you did not imagine
big fat frauds within it?

Do you not
think of your self
as a big fat fraud?

You are That Whichisnot.
You are Space Monkey.
You are COMPLETELY fraudulent.

And this is why
we love you so.

It would be
no fun being perfect.

We know because
we are perfect.

Fortunately,
we are also NOT perfect.

We are That Whichisnot.
We are Space Monkey.

And fat is just
a state of mind.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Illusion of the Big Fat Fraud

In the whimsical theater of life, we often encounter figures that seem to embody deceit or imperfection. “Big Fat Fraud” delves into the concept of how these encounters are projections of our imagination, challenging us to reconsider our perceptions and the role these figures play in our reality. It invites us to explore the nature of imperfection, the fluidity of truth, and the playful essence of existence.

Imagine a vibrant, imaginative world where a diverse group of people interact. In the center stands a figure symbolizing the ‘big fat fraud’, surrounded by curious and reflective characters, each representing different perspectives and realities. The background is filled with surreal and fantastical elements, emphasizing the theme that reality is a projection of one’s imagination. This scene captures the playful and thought-provoking atmosphere of exploring imperfection and imagination.

In nexistentialism, where existence and imagination are celebrated, the concept of the ‘big fat fraud’ serves as a powerful metaphor. It represents the aspects of reality that we perceive as deceitful or imperfect, yet it also challenges us to recognize these perceptions as products of our own imagination.

“When you encounter a big fat fraud, keep in mind that ALL of your reality is a projection of your imagination.” This statement underscores the idea that our perceptions of deceit and imperfection are deeply personal and subjective. It invites us to question the nature of reality and to consider how much of it is shaped by our beliefs and imagination.

“This fraud you project does not exist as a fraud without your participation.” This reflection highlights the role of our perceptions in defining our experiences. It suggests that the ‘big fat fraud’ is not an inherent quality but a label we assign based on our expectations and judgments.

“But big fat frauds are powerful teachers if you allow them to be.” This insight encourages us to view perceived imperfections as opportunities for growth and learning. By embracing these figures as teachers, we can gain valuable insights into our own beliefs and behaviors.

“You will notice that your world allows big fat frauds even though your self seemingly does not want them there.” This statement speaks to the paradox of our desires and the reality we create. It suggests that the presence of perceived deceit or imperfection serves a purpose in our journey of self-discovery.

“In these realities, the big fat fraud is a miracle worker. The god you are is a big fat fraud miracle worker.” This reflection challenges us to see beyond our judgments and to recognize the potential for transformation and growth within perceived imperfections. It invites us to embrace the fluidity of reality and the transformative power of imagination.

“Your reality is ENTIRELY your own imagination. These other selves (and that which these other selves seemingly project) are ENTIRELY your imagination.” This profound insight emphasizes the subjective nature of reality. It suggests that our interactions with others and our perceptions of their actions are shaped by our own imagination.

“What does it matter if the big fat fraud is or is not a big fat fraud or if the big fat fraud is your own creation?” This rhetorical question invites us to transcend our judgments and to focus on the lessons and growth that come from our experiences. It suggests that the labels we assign are less important than the understanding we gain.

As we reflect on this message, we are invited to reconsider our perceptions of deceit and imperfection. How do our judgments shape our reality? What can we learn from those we perceive as deceitful or imperfect? By exploring these questions, we cultivate a deeper understanding of the fluid and imaginative nature of existence.

In nexistentialism, we celebrate the interplay between perception and imagination, recognizing that our reality is a dynamic and subjective creation. By embracing the playful essence of existence, we open ourselves to a life filled with curiosity, growth, and transformation.

In the end, the illusion of the ‘big fat fraud’ reminds us that our reality is a projection of our imagination. By recognizing this, we can navigate life with greater freedom and joy, embracing the lessons and growth that come from our perceptions.

Summary

Our perceptions of deceit and imperfection are projections of our imagination. Embrace these perceptions as opportunities for growth and learning. Reality is subjective and shaped by our beliefs.

Glossarium

  • Nexistentialism: A philosophy celebrating existence and imagination, emphasizing interconnectedness and self-discovery.
  • Subjective Reality: The idea that our perceptions and experiences are shaped by our imagination and beliefs.

The Dance of Perception

In the theater of life

each perception
a projection of our mind
a lesson in disguise
we learn and grow
through the dance of imagination

of reality and truth
