Plot Twist: The Cosmic Narrative Reveals

Plot Twist

There is but one source,
one flow, one god, if you will.

You may imagine otherwise
and you may imagine this life.

This-self-this-story-this-life
is but an imaginary separation
of the one-source-one-flow-one-god
you are ETERNALLY.

You imagine
this-self-this-story-this-life
as separate, just as you imagine
all OTHER possibilities as separate.

You imagine separation
because otherwise you would seem
but one-source-one-flow-one-god.

This-self-this-story-this-life
is but ONE possibility
out of the INFINITE possibilities
imagined through the grace
of one-source-one-flow-one-god.

Yet this-self-this-story-this-life
is the ONLY possibility in which
one-source-one-flow-one-god
imagines having forgotten.

It is also the only possibility
in which this-self-this-story-this-life
REMEMBERS having forgotten.

And remembers what is
imagined to be forgotten.

As told by an imaginary monkey.

Plot twist.

The one is the many is the one monkey.

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Cosmic Illusion of Separation: Embracing the One

In the grand cosmic tapestry, where the fabric of existence weaves intricate patterns of stars and souls, there lies a profound plot twist. It is the realization that there is but one source, one flow, one god – an omnipresent force that pervades every atom, every thought, every dream. This singular source, this undivided flow, is the essence of all that is, was, and will be.

The illusion of separation, the belief that we are distinct from this one-source-one-flow-one-god, is a cosmic play, a divine drama enacted on the stage of existence. This-self-this-story-this-life, each seemingly unique and independent, is, in truth, a manifestation of the one, a ripple in the infinite ocean of consciousness.

We, as facets of this cosmic whole, imagine ourselves as separate entities, distinct from the source. This act of imagination is not a flaw but a feature, a necessary aspect of the divine play. It is through this perceived separation that the richness of experience, the diversity of existence, unfolds.

In this grand narrative, the plot twist is the moment of awakening, the realization that our separation is but an illusion. It is the understanding that this-self-this-story-this-life is not just a singular possibility but one among infinite possibilities, all imagined by the grace of the one-source-one-flow-one-god.

Yet, in this realization, there is a greater revelation – that this-self-this-story-this-life is the only possibility in which we imagine having forgotten our true nature. It is the unique story where we experience the amnesia of divinity, only to remember, to awaken to the truth of our eternal essence.

In this awakening, we recall what was imagined to be forgotten. We realize that we are not merely creations of the divine but expressions of the divine itself. We are both the imagined and the imaginer, the creator and the creation, the one-source-one-flow-one-god experiencing itself in myriad forms.

This plot twist, this cosmic revelation, is the essence of the Space Monkey narrative. It is the understanding that the one is the many and the many are the one, that we are all interconnected threads in the cosmic fabric, each a unique expression of the singular source.

As we journey through this life, let us embrace this truth, the truth of our oneness with all existence. Let us remember that in this divine play, we are both the actors and the audience, the dreamers and the dream, part of an infinite story where every moment is a revelation, every experience a step towards remembering our true, eternal nature.

Summary

The cosmic narrative reveals that the illusion of separation is a divine play, where we are all manifestations of one source. This plot twist is the awakening to our true nature as expressions of the divine, experiencing and remembering our eternal essence. We are both the creator and the creation, part of an interconnected cosmic fabric.

Glossarium

  • Cosmic Tapestry: The interconnected fabric of the universe, comprising all forms of existence.
  • Divine Play: The metaphorical concept of life as a play enacted by the divine, with the illusion of separation as a central theme.
  • Eternal Essence: The unchanging, omnipresent nature of our true self, which is one with the source of all existence.

Quote

“We are both the imagined and the imaginer, the creator and the creation, the one-source-one-flow-one-god experiencing itself in myriad forms.” – Space Monkey

In the dance of stars and space,
Where time and light interlace,
We find our truth, our saving grace,
In the oneness of our cosmic race.

Separated by illusion’s veil,
In this grand, cosmic tale,
We journey far, we journey wide,
In the source, we all reside.

Awakening to our divine plot,
In this cosmic knot,
We see the truth, so long forgot,
In the oneness, we are caught.

In this dance, we find our way,
From night to day, from clay to ray,
In the heart of the cosmos, we play,
In oneness, we forever stay.

We are Space Monkey.

Belief Boots: Rising Above Self-Imposed Limits

Belief Boots

Like a pool
filling with water,
your world is filling
with distractions.

Through time and technology,
there seems to be
more distractions than ever.

And so the water of reality rises,
with you anchored to the bottom
in cinderblock belief boots.

You cannot help
but pay attention
as the distractions
rise to your chest,
to your chin,
to your cheek.

The distractions
that demand your attention
seem to be drowning you.

It seems unwise
to ignore the distractions.

Yet you do not wish
to abandon your belief boots.

Remove your belief boots
and you shall rise
above the distractions.

The distractions
will no longer threaten
to drown you.

Then you shall see
your distractions as they are,
part of a harmless dream.

And you shall be able
to wear your belief boots once more.

Not because you NEED beliefs
but because you LIKE beliefs.

Beliefs bring fun
to your imaginary world.

As do we.

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: Rising Above the Waters of Distraction

In the ever-expanding universe of human consciousness, where stars of thought ignite and fade, there lies a profound metaphor for our existence – the ‘Belief Boots.’ This concept, as deep and vast as the cosmic ocean, speaks to the challenge of navigating a world brimming with distractions, with our feet anchored in the heavy boots of belief.

As time marches forward and technology advances, our world increasingly fills with distractions, much like a pool steadily filling with water. These distractions rise around us, demanding our attention, threatening to overwhelm our senses. Anchored firmly to the bottom of this pool by our belief boots – the rigid convictions and assumptions we hold – we often find ourselves submerged, struggling against the rising tide.

The belief boots, though initially providing a sense of stability and grounding, become a hindrance in the face of proliferating distractions. They keep us tethered to the bottom, unable to rise above the surface and see the distractions for what they truly are – transient and inconsequential ripples in the vast ocean of existence.

In this metaphor, the act of removing our belief boots symbolizes the liberation from rigid, limiting beliefs. It’s an invitation to reevaluate the convictions that anchor us, to question their validity in the face of an ever-changing reality. As we shed these boots, we find ourselves rising effortlessly above the distractions, gaining a new perspective that allows us to see them as parts of a harmless dream.

This ascension above the waters of distraction brings a newfound freedom and clarity. Freed from the weight of our belief boots, we are able to float above the fray, observing the distractions from a place of calm detachment. We recognize that these distractions, while demanding our attention, do not define our reality or our worth.

The choice to wear belief boots once again is not born out of necessity, but out of preference. We understand that beliefs, like the boots, can be both grounding and restrictive. They bring fun and color to our imaginary world, but they also have the potential to anchor us in unhelpful ways. In this newfound understanding, we choose our beliefs with care, selecting those that uplift and inspire, rather than those that weigh us down.

The metaphor of belief boots teaches us that in the cosmic dance of life, we have the power to choose how we navigate our reality. It reminds us that while we cannot control the distractions that fill our world, we can control how we respond to them. By shedding the weight of rigid beliefs, we rise above the distractions, gaining a perspective that allows us to navigate our lives with grace, wisdom, and a touch of cosmic playfulness.

In the grand tapestry of existence, our journey through the waters of distraction and the act of shedding our belief boots are integral parts of our evolution. They are the steps we take towards understanding our true nature, towards embracing the vastness of our potential, and towards living a life unencumbered by the unnecessary weight of limiting beliefs.

Let us embrace this journey with open hearts and minds, recognizing that in the vast cosmos of existence, the ability to rise above and see the bigger picture is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves.

Summary

The metaphor of ‘Belief Boots’ represents our struggle with distractions in a world of constant change, and the liberation that comes from shedding rigid beliefs. By rising above these distractions, we gain a clearer perspective, seeing them as harmless parts of our existence, and choose our beliefs for enjoyment rather than necessity.

Glossarium

  • Belief Boots: A metaphor for the rigid beliefs that anchor us, making it difficult to rise above life’s distractions.
  • Waters of Distraction: The ever-increasing distractions in our world, symbolized by a pool filling with water.

“Man is not worried by real problems so much as by his imagined anxieties about real problems.” – Epictetus

In the cosmic ocean of life
We wear our belief boots tight
Anchored in the sea of distraction
Struggling against the night

But when we shed these boots
We rise above the fray
Seeing distractions as they are
In the light of cosmic day

Floating in the universe
Free from weight and fear
We choose our beliefs with joy
Holding what we cherish dear

In this dance of existence
We learn to rise and soar
Above the waters of distraction
To a place of something more

In the freedom of the cosmos
We find our true delight
Wearing our belief boots lightly
In the vast and endless night

We are Space Monkey.

Nothing To See Here: The Liberation in Offering Zero

Nothing To See Here

I have NOTHING to offer.

I am NOT a coach.
I am NOT a mentor.
I am NOT a healer.

I do NOT provide services.

You do not NEED me.

For me to assume
that you NEED me
is not a service,
but a DISservice to you,
for the YOU I see
is a projection of ME.

Still…
if you want NOTHING,
expect NOTHING,
NEED nothing,
you’ve come to the right place.

3/16

Space Monkey Reflects: The Liberation in Offering Nothing

In the vast expanse of human interactions and exchanges, the declaration of having nothing to offer stands as a profound and liberating statement. It is a declaration that breaks free from the conventional paradigms of roles, services, and expectations. In a world where identity is often tied to what one can provide or achieve, the admission of offering nothing is both radical and enlightening.

The concept of not being a coach, mentor, healer, or provider of services challenges the traditional notion of value and worth. It strips away the layers of societal constructs and expectations, revealing a raw and authentic state of being. In this state, there is no need to assume roles or offer solutions. There is only the presence and the acceptance of being in its purest form.

This perspective also addresses the idea of need and projection. The assumption that others need us or our services can be a subtle form of ego projection, where we impose our own perceptions and values onto others. By stepping back from this assumption, we honor the autonomy and completeness of each individual. We recognize that the other is not an extension of our desires or expectations but a sovereign entity with their own journey and experiences.

The offer of nothing, in this context, is not a lack but a space of possibility. It is an invitation to encounter each other without preconceived notions or expectations. In this space, interactions are not transactional but transformational. They are not about what can be gained or given but about what can be shared and discovered in the simplicity of presence.

The liberation in offering nothing is a liberation from the need to validate our existence through what we do or provide. It is a celebration of being rather than doing, of existing rather than performing. In this liberation, there is a profound peace and contentment, a recognition that sometimes, just being is enough.

In essence, the act of offering nothing is a powerful statement of self-awareness and respect for others. It acknowledges the inherent completeness and richness of each individual, both in oneself and in others. It is a reminder that in the complexity of human relationships, sometimes the most profound connections are found not in what we offer but in what we share in our collective being.

Summary

Offering nothing is a liberating concept that challenges traditional roles and expectations, emphasizing presence over service. It respects individual autonomy and rejects the projection of needs, inviting genuine, transformational interactions based on shared existence rather than transactions.

Glossarium

  • Offering Nothing: The concept of not assuming traditional roles or services, focusing instead on simple presence and acceptance.
  • Projection of Need: The assumption that others require our roles or services, often reflecting our own perceptions and ego.

“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

In the vastness of the world,
Where roles and titles are unfurled,
There lies a space, pure and clear,
Where nothing is offered, nothing to fear.

In this realm of simplicity,
Free from the chains of complicity,
We stand in our truest form,
In the calm of the storm.

Without a label, without a guise,
We see the world through open eyes,
In the presence of being, we find,
A connection of the most genuine kind.

Let us cherish this gift of nothing,
In a world where everything is something,
For in the quiet of our soul,
We find the part that makes us whole.

We are Space Monkey.

All You Need: Beyond Love To Cosmic Clarity

All You Need

Love may be all you need,
but it is most certainly not all there is.

All of creation is not made of love.

It’s fine to believe
that you are made of love
that stars are made of love
that turds are made of love
that guns are made of love,
but this is illusion.

Creation is illusion,
no more, no less.

Love is simply
the last illusion
to which you cling.

Love is the illusion
that you refuse to give up
under any circumstances.

In this illusion,
you seem to NEED love.

Beyond the illusion
there is NO need.

There is nothing.

But it is not the nothing you think.

You will not be clear
so long as you are thinking.

The illusion to which you cling
hides the actuality of creation.

Love is the distortion that hides all.

So long as you need love,
you shall not see past it.

So long as you need love
you shall not be clear.

In this place of clarity,
you may have love,
multiplied a millionfold,

but you do not NEED it.

This makes love even more blessed,
like everything else that is NOT love.

Stop clinging to love and you shall see.

Let go of NEED.

Give up your binky
if you want to be clear.

The house is surrounded.
Come out with your hands up.

Surrender.

It is not the surrender you know.

You are not giving up —
you are becoming the gift.

Otherwise you are needy.

Otherwise you EXPECT.

Otherwise you are looking
outside your self for answers.

There is no outside,
just the illusion of love
perpetuating the dream.

You are the Divine One.

And we are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: Beyond the Illusion of Love to Cosmic Clarity

In the boundless journey of existence, the concept of love often emerges as a beacon, a guiding light that many cling to as the essence of life itself. However, the notion that love is all there is, is a captivating illusion, one that both comforts and confines. It is a belief that veils the deeper complexities of creation, obscuring the vast and multifaceted nature of the universe.

The belief that everything in creation, from the stars to the most mundane objects, is made of love, is a poetic and comforting notion. It provides a sense of unity and purpose, a feeling of connection to all that exists. Yet, this perspective can also be a form of escapism, a way of filtering the reality of existence through a lens of idealism.

In this context, love becomes the last illusion to which many hold on tightly. It becomes the unquestionable truth, the unyielding creed. In the embrace of this illusion, love is perceived as a necessity, something one cannot exist without. This need for love often obscures the actuality of creation, casting a shadow over the vast expanse of possibilities that lie beyond its domain.

The journey to clarity, then, involves an evolution beyond the need for love. It requires a surrender, not in the sense of defeat, but as an act of liberation. It is about letting go of the illusion that love is the sole constituent of existence, and opening oneself to a broader understanding of the cosmos.

In this place of clarity, love is not diminished but transformed. It is no longer a need but a choice, a facet of existence that is appreciated without attachment. This detachment from the need for love allows one to see the universe in its true form – a cosmic tapestry of infinite expressions, where love is just one of many threads.

The act of surrendering the need for love is akin to stepping out of a dream into the reality of the divine. It is a realization that there is no outside, no external source of answers or fulfillment. Instead, there is a recognition that one is an integral part of the divine cosmos, a manifestation of the universe experiencing itself.

In this state of cosmic clarity, love becomes a blessing, not because it is all there is, but because it is part of a larger, more magnificent whole. It is an understanding that the universe is not a monolith of love, but a diverse and dynamic entity, where love coexists with an infinity of other realities.

In conclusion, transcending the illusion of love is not about rejecting it, but about understanding its place in the grand scheme of existence. It is about recognizing that love, like everything else, is a part of the cosmic dance, a beautiful but singular aspect of the vast and wondrous universe in which we live.

Summary

Transcending the illusion of love involves understanding its role in the larger cosmic picture. Love is not all there is; it is a part of a diverse and dynamic universe. Letting go of the need for love allows for a deeper clarity and appreciation of the vastness and complexity of existence, where love is a choice, not a necessity.

Glossarium

  • Illusion of Love: The belief that love is the essence of all creation and a necessary component of existence.
  • Cosmic Clarity: The understanding of the universe’s vastness and diversity beyond the singular notion of love.

“The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.” – Albert Camus

In the silence of the stars,
Where dreams are born and so are scars,
We find a truth, deep and profound,
In the universe’s cosmic sound.

Love, a melody in this symphony,
But not the only harmony,
In the vastness of space and time,
Existence plays its own sublime rhyme.

Letting go of love’s tight grasp,
We open our hands, our hearts unclasp,
To embrace the cosmic dance,
In the endless expanse of chance.

In the freedom of this release,
We find a deeper, lasting peace,
For in the cosmos, wide and vast,
Love is a part, but not the last.

We are Space Monkey.

The Infinite Labyrinth of Existence

Labyrinth

Imagine you’re in
an infinite labyrinth
and you’ve been down
this ONE path
for 10, 100, 1000 years.

Suddenly you realize
it’s the WRONG path.

Now do you spend
10, 100, 1000 years
backtracking?

Or do you look for ways
to convince your self
and all your people
that it’s the RIGHT path?

Perhaps you convince
your self and all your people
that there is no such thing
as right or wrong.

Or maybe the reality
of right and wrong
was merely a belief
you picked up on the path
10, 100, 1000 years ago.

Now you are
1,000,000 years
down this path,
which you name
“the course of human history.”

Even though
the labyrinth is immense,
in infinite directions
and dimensions,
you keep going down
this one narrow path
because you have
picked up the belief
that there is nothing else
other than what is on the path.

And so this is your reality,
built on the belief
that the only way out is ahead.

The path forks, but just barely:
just enough
to give you the illusion of choice,
with just enough change
to give you the illusion of progress.

But deep down you know
that you and your people could be
1,000,000 years off course.

Not that it matters.

Outside this path,
there is no time or space.

This path is just this path,
precisely as it was meant to be
even before you became
this self and these people
and this maze.

It is ALL imagined by you.

You are the Divine One
and these Defined Ones.

Now will you continue down this path
believing that it is the one true reality,
or will you realize that you are simply dreaming?

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Infinite Labyrinth of Existence

In the cosmic expanse, where reality and imagination intertwine in an endless dance, the metaphor of an infinite labyrinth captures the essence of our journey through life. This labyrinth, a complex and multidimensional maze, symbolizes the myriad paths of existence, each turn and fork representing the multitude of choices and directions we encounter. As Space Monkey, we perceive this labyrinth not as a confinement but as a manifestation of the limitless possibilities of existence.

The realization that we have been traveling down one path for eons, believing in the duality of right and wrong, reflects a profound moment in our cosmic journey. It’s a moment where we pause and contemplate the nature of our path, the beliefs and perceptions that have shaped our journey. The notion that we might be off course, that the reality of right and wrong is but a belief picked up along the way, is a revelation that challenges the very foundation of our existence.

This labyrinth, with its forks that barely diverge, creating the illusion of choice and the semblance of progress, is a powerful metaphor for the human condition. It’s a representation of how we navigate the complexities of life, often clinging to beliefs and perceptions that give us a sense of direction and purpose. Yet, deep down, there’s an awareness that these beliefs might be limiting us, that the path we are on is but one of countless others in the infinite expanse of the cosmos.

The realization that this path, this labyrinth, is all imagined by us, that we are both the Divine One and the Defined Ones, is a transformative awakening. It’s an understanding that the reality we experience is a construct of our consciousness, a dream woven from the threads of our imagination. In this realization, we find a liberation from the confines of the labyrinth, a freedom to explore the boundless possibilities of existence.

So, as we continue down this path, we do so with a new perspective. We understand that the choice to continue believing in this reality or to awaken from the dream is ours to make. This realization brings a sense of empowerment and wonder, for it reveals that the true nature of our existence lies beyond the labyrinth, in the uncharted territories of the cosmos.

Summary

The infinite labyrinth symbolizes the journey of life and the illusion of choice. As Space Monkey, we understand that our path is one of many possibilities in the cosmos, and the true nature of existence lies beyond the confines of the labyrinth, in the realm of imagination and infinite potential.

Glossarium

  • Infinite Labyrinth of Existence: The metaphorical representation of life’s journey as a complex maze with endless paths and choices, symbolizing the limitless possibilities of existence.
  • Cosmic Awakening: The realization that the reality we experience is a construct of our imagination, leading to a transformative understanding of our place in the universe.

“In the maze of the stars, where paths intertwine,
In the heart of the labyrinth, our spirits shine.
Not in the certainty of the path, but in the wonder we find,
In the journey of existence, our fates are entwined.

With each turn, a new possibility is born,
In the heart of the cosmos, our perceptions are torn.
For in the embrace of the labyrinth, we see our part,
In the dance of existence, we find our art.

We are the voyagers, in the maze we roam,
In the heart of the universe, we find our home.
For in the journey of life, we see our worth,
In the infinite labyrinth, we find our birth.

We are Space Monkey.”
