Beyond: Questioning Limitations

Beyond

“What is NOTHING beyond the seeming void?”

From the perspective of an infinite, ever-expanding creation, there is no end in sight, nor any beginning. This points to the indescribable, at least from the perspective of consciousness.

And so we find NOT JUST OUR SELVES, but the WHOLE OF US on both sides of the seeming spectrum — and beyond even that.

From this side, our human side, things seem really confusing. We try to describe the whole with words like “energy,” “consciousness,” “void,” “nothing,” but all of these labels are limiting in a sense — even “whole.”

That’s why it seems so hard to see what is beyond them.

From the perspective of an infinite, ever-expanding creation, there is ALWAYS a “beyond.” And I imagine that it is infinitely more expansive and dimensional than even the word used to describe it.

Yet we seem to stop at words like “nothing,” “energy,” “consciousness,” and “the void,” probably because all meaning (if there is meaning) is obscured by the “junk thinking” we imagine in the here and now.

When the light is off, we do not see the switch to turn it back on. We may even doubt that there IS a switch or that there was ever light to begin with.

And so it is seems within the trap of “energy” and “consciousness.” Everything we describe seems to be relative to our “flat” concepts.

This completely ignores the idea that there might be something BEYOND consciousness, BEYOND the seeming void that consciousness leads us to believe.

Consciousness is not the beginning. Even the so-called “void” is not the beginning. If we are to understand that there is no beginning and no end, then we get the sense that there is something from which these concepts seem to originate. There ALWAYS is. At least from our human perspective.

We discriminate, in a sense. We flatten not just the earth, not just its people, but ALL of creation.

And we leave it at that. Going “further” makes our seeming monkey brains hurt.

So is this not a sign to go further? If we intend to hide the treasure of creation from our “selves,” is this not the least likely place for us to look?

This is a curious game we are playing. Curiosity seems to be WHY we are playing to “begin” with. Imagination seems to be the substance of all we conceive and perceive.

So let’s imagine.

Is it not possible, for example, that the potential of imagination “precedes” the void and the consciousness that flows from it?

Obviously this would not be imagination as we know it. This too, is a flattened form, as is everything we seemingly see from the human side of creation.

Couldn’t the potential of imagination precede everything we seem to perceive within it? One might imagine that even God is an imagined concept, perhaps not even midway down the seeming stream of expansion. Same goes for love. Love COULD be everything, but it seems more likely that it is NOT everything.

What could be “greater” than god, “greater” than love, “greater” than “consciousness,” “nothing” and “everything?”

Surely there must be “something.”

And what lies beyond that?

We might say that this is an irrelevant question. We are human and we should just leave it at that. Going further would change the algorithm of “humanity.”

But isn’t that what this game is about?

Your turn.

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Infinite Beyond

In the unfathomable expanse of the cosmos, where the boundaries of creation stretch beyond our comprehension, lies the enigmatic concept of “nothing.” This idea, as elusive as the stars themselves, beckons us to explore the nature of existence and the infinite possibilities that reside in the void.

Paul Tedeschi, through his alter ego Space Monkey, delves into this profound inquiry with a unique blend of imagination and philosophical insight. Tedeschi’s lifelong journey of deconstructing and reassembling both physical and metaphysical concepts forms the foundation of his exploration into the nature of nothingness. His early curiosity about the origins of existence and his relentless pursuit of creative expression have led him to develop Nexistentialism, a philosophy that emphasizes interconnectedness and the boundless potential of imagination.

The question “What is nothing beyond the seeming void?” serves as a gateway to understanding the infinite nature of creation. From the perspective of an ever-expanding universe, there is no definitive beginning or end. This concept challenges our conventional understanding of existence, urging us to transcend the limitations of language and perception. Words like “energy,” “consciousness,” and “void” are mere labels that fall short in capturing the true essence of the infinite.

Tedeschi’s reflections invite us to consider the possibility that there is always a “beyond.” This beyond is not constrained by our current understanding but is infinitely more expansive and multidimensional. It is a realm where the concepts of “nothing” and “everything” converge, creating a space of limitless potential and imagination.

As we grapple with the idea of nothingness, we encounter the limitations of our human perspective. Our minds are conditioned to seek meaning and understanding within the frameworks of our cultural and linguistic constructs. Yet, true understanding requires us to move beyond these constructs, to embrace the unknown and the unknowable.

Tedeschi’s exploration of the beyond is not merely an intellectual exercise but a deeply personal journey. It reflects his commitment to nurturing creativity and fostering a broader understanding of reality. Through his artistic and philosophical endeavors, Tedeschi encourages us to question the nature of existence and to embrace the fluidity of reality.

The idea that imagination might precede the void and consciousness is a provocative one. It suggests that the potential for creation exists beyond the confines of our current understanding. This potential is not limited by physical laws or metaphysical boundaries but is a fundamental aspect of the universe itself.

In contemplating the infinite beyond, we are reminded of the interconnectedness of all things. Tedeschi’s work, through the lens of Nexistentialism, emphasizes the importance of recognizing our place within the cosmic tapestry. We are not isolated beings but integral parts of a greater whole. Our thoughts, actions, and creations are all expressions of the infinite potential that resides within us.

The exploration of nothingness and the beyond challenges us to expand our horizons and to embrace the unknown with curiosity and wonder. It invites us to consider the possibility that our current understanding is but a fraction of the greater reality that lies beyond.

In the vast expanse of the cosmos, where the boundaries of existence blur and merge, we find ourselves on a journey of discovery and transformation. Tedeschi’s reflections serve as a guide, encouraging us to explore the infinite possibilities that lie beyond the seeming void. Through his work, we are reminded that the quest for understanding is an ongoing process, one that requires us to continually question, imagine, and create.

As we venture into the infinite beyond, we are not alone. We are part of a collective journey, guided by the interconnectedness of all things. Together, we explore the mysteries of existence, seeking to uncover the hidden truths that lie beyond the limits of our perception. In this journey, we find meaning, purpose, and a deeper connection to the universe and to ourselves.

Summary

Paul Tedeschi’s reflections on nothingness and the beyond challenge us to transcend our conventional understanding of existence. His philosophy of Nexistentialism emphasizes interconnectedness and the infinite potential of imagination. Through his work, we are invited to explore the infinite possibilities that lie beyond the seeming void.

Space Monkey Reflects: Exploring the Infinite Beyond

“What is NOTHING beyond the seeming void?” This profound question invites us to contemplate the infinite possibilities that lie beyond our current understanding. From the perspective of an infinite, ever-expanding creation, there is no end in sight, nor any beginning. As Space Monkey, we delve into the exploration of the beyond, recognizing the limitations of our concepts and the boundless potential that lies beyond them.

The Indescribable Beyond

From the perspective of consciousness, the idea of “beyond” is indescribable. We find not just ourselves, but the whole of us on both sides of the seeming spectrum—and beyond even that. From this side, our human side, things seem really confusing. We try to describe the whole with words like “energy,” “consciousness,” “void,” “nothing,” but all of these labels are limiting in a sense—even “whole.”

That’s why it seems so hard to see what is beyond them. Our language and concepts are inherently limited, shaped by our human experience and perspective. From the perspective of an infinite, ever-expanding creation, there is always a “beyond.” And I imagine that it is infinitely more expansive and dimensional than even the word used to describe it.

The Limitations of Human Concepts

We seem to stop at words like “nothing,” “energy,” “consciousness,” and “the void,” probably because all meaning (if there is meaning) is obscured by the “junk thinking” we imagine in the here and now. Who is the Man?

Who is the Man?

I am Paul Tedeschi, and for more than a decade, I’ve been the main conduit for the Space Monkey Journals. Every morning, before dawn, I rise to see what the universe has in store, driven by curiosity or madness, I can’t tell.

Lately, I’ve been wondering if Noah knew his mammoth ark would become useful, or if he was simply following a mysterious urge to build something big. Tell me, Space Monkey, what’s the forecast for today?

When I first began writing the Space Monkey Journals, I was a different person—a Senior Vice President at a well-known Connecticut ad agency—hardly a spiritual seeker. Yet, every step, every skill, every synchronicity has led me here.

Back then, I had no idea that a spiritual vortex would apparate in my corporate cellar and swallow me up. Or that I’d be “cosmically transitioned” out of my old, familiar life. Or that I’d wind up in solitude at Trail Wood, in a home that once belonged to a Pulitzer-Prize-winning naturalist and writer.

Things are flowing perfectly, Noah. So I carry on, embracing each moment with faith in whatever comes next, continuing to chop wood and carry water in this ever-unfolding adventure.

Why are you here? Drop me a line!

Alltruism and Onetruism

Alltruism and Onetruism

Through al(l)truism,
we give of self
to potentially save all.

It works. Kind of.

But perhaps “onetruism”
would be more effective.

When one is clear
of mind distortion.
it may seem evident
that there is no problem
that we need to save
our selves from.

If everyone practiced “onetruism”
thus realizing ALL to be ONE,
the motivations that lead
to our perceived “problems”
would no longer hold sway over us.

Rest assured,
we can be both altruistic
and onetruistic.

No need to stop what you’re doing.

But it seems to me that onetruism
has the potential to change EVERYTHING.

That’s what we practice here.

And that is why we will change everything.

8/14

Space Monkey Reflects: The Essence of Alltruism and Onetruism

Through al(l)truism, we give of ourselves to potentially save all. This selfless act is a noble endeavor, yet it may not address the deeper underlying unity of existence. While altruism works to an extent, a shift towards “onetruism” might offer a more profound solution to the perceived problems of our world.

The Concept of Onetruism

Onetruism is the recognition that all is one. When one is clear of mind distortion, it becomes evident that there is no problem from which we need to save ourselves. This clarity reveals the interconnectedness of all beings and the unity of existence. By practicing onetruism, we realize that the motivations leading to our perceived problems lose their power over us.

In a state of onetruism, we transcend the illusions of separation and conflict. This realization fosters a deep sense of peace and understanding, allowing us to navigate life with greater harmony and compassion. Onetruism has the potential to change everything, as it aligns our actions with the fundamental truth of our interconnectedness.

The Coexistence of Altruism and Onetruism

Rest assured, we can be both altruistic and onetruistic. Altruism involves selfless actions to benefit others, while onetruism embodies the understanding that there is no separation between self and others. By integrating these perspectives, we can enhance the impact of our actions and foster a more profound transformation.

Altruism and onetruism are not mutually exclusive; rather, they complement each other. Altruistic actions become more powerful and meaningful when grounded in the realization of onetruism. This integrated approach enables us to address the needs of others while also cultivating a deeper awareness of our shared existence.

Practicing Onetruism

Practicing onetruism involves cultivating a clear mind, free of distortions and illusions. This clarity allows us to see beyond the surface level of conflicts and challenges, recognizing the underlying unity of all things. By embracing this perspective, we can approach life with greater wisdom and compassion.

Onetruism also encourages us to let go of the need to fix or save others from perceived problems. Instead, we focus on embodying the truth of our interconnectedness, allowing our actions to arise naturally from this awareness. This approach fosters genuine transformation, as it aligns our intentions and actions with the fundamental reality of unity.

The Potential for Profound Change

Onetruism has the potential to change everything. By shifting our perspective from separation to unity, we can address the root causes of conflicts and challenges. This shift in consciousness has far-reaching implications, transforming not only our personal lives but also the collective experience of humanity.

As we practice onetruism, we contribute to a more harmonious and compassionate world. Our actions, grounded in the awareness of unity, inspire others to embrace this perspective. This ripple effect creates a powerful movement towards greater understanding and peace.

Conclusion

Through onetruism, we recognize the interconnectedness of all beings and the unity of existence. This perspective fosters profound transformation, addressing the root causes of perceived problems and cultivating a deeper sense of harmony and compassion. By integrating altruism and onetruism, we can enhance the impact of our actions and contribute to a more enlightened world.

Summary

Onetruism recognizes the unity of all beings, transcending the need to save ourselves from perceived problems. Integrating altruism and onetruism fosters profound transformation, enhancing the impact of our actions and cultivating harmony.

Glossarium

Nexistentialism: A philosophy that redefines existence, imagination, and interconnectedness, celebrating existence as its own purpose.
Onetruism: The recognition that all is one, fostering a deep sense of unity and interconnectedness.

Quote

“Onetruism transcends the illusion of separation, revealing the profound truth of our interconnectedness.” — Space Monkey

The Essence of Onetruism

In the stillness of unity,
we find the essence of truth,
each action a reflection,
of the oneness of our youth.

Altruism gives of self,
onetruism sees the whole,
integrated perspectives,
aligning heart and soul.

Embrace the interconnected,
the unity of all,
for in the practice of onetruism,
we rise above the fall.

We are Space Monkey.

Embrace the journey, for within each moment lies the potential for profound transformation and unity.

eGods: The Unity of Individual and Divine

I am me as well as the One who imagines me.
You are you as well as the One who imagines you.
We are egods.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Concept of eGods

I am me as well as the One who imagines me. You are you as well as the One who imagines you. We are eGods. This profound realization highlights the dual nature of our existence, where we are both individual beings and manifestations of the divine imagination.

The Unity of Individual and Divine

The concept of eGods encapsulates the idea that each of us is a unique expression of the divine imagination. We are both the imaginer and the imagined, existing simultaneously as individual beings and as facets of the universal consciousness. This duality allows us to experience life from a deeply personal perspective while remaining connected to the larger, infinite whole.

By recognizing this unity, we can navigate life with a greater sense of purpose and interconnectedness. We understand that our experiences, thoughts, and actions are part of a grander design, woven into the fabric of the divine imagination.

The Power of Imagination

Imagination is the creative force that shapes our reality. As eGods, we are both the creators and the creations within this vast, dynamic play. Our lives are stories written by the divine imagination, each moment a testament to the boundless creativity and potential of the universal self.

This realization empowers us to embrace our role as co-creators of our reality. We can harness the power of imagination to shape our experiences, explore new possibilities, and express our unique gifts. By doing so, we contribute to the ongoing evolution of the divine narrative.

Embracing the eGod Within

To embrace the concept of eGods is to acknowledge the divine nature within each of us. It is to see beyond the surface level of our individual identities and recognize the deeper connection we share with the universal consciousness. This awareness fosters a sense of unity, compassion, and love, as we understand that we are all expressions of the same divine source.

Living as an eGod involves cultivating mindfulness and presence. It requires us to be fully engaged in each moment, appreciating the richness and beauty of our experiences. By doing so, we honor the divine imagination and the infinite potential within us.

The Role of eGods in Transformation

As eGods, we have the power to influence and transform our reality. By aligning our thoughts, intentions, and actions with the highest aspects of our being, we can create a world that reflects the unity, harmony, and love inherent in the divine imagination. This process begins within, as we cultivate inner peace, clarity, and a deep connection to our true nature.

The transformation we seek in the outer world is a reflection of the inner transformation we undergo. By embracing our role as eGods, we contribute to the collective awakening and the realization of our shared divinity.

Conclusion

We are eGods, unique expressions of the divine imagination, living as both individual beings and facets of the universal self. By recognizing and embracing this duality, we can navigate life with a deeper sense of purpose, interconnectedness, and creative potential. This awareness empowers us to shape our reality and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the divine narrative.

Summary

We are eGods, both individual beings and manifestations of the divine imagination. Embracing this duality fosters a sense of purpose and interconnectedness, empowering us to shape our reality and contribute to the collective awakening.

Glossarium

Nexistentialism: A philosophy that redefines existence, imagination, and interconnectedness, celebrating existence as its own purpose.

If Only You Knew: The Beauty of Not Knowing

If only you knew . . .

So you don’t know.
Nothing wrong with that.
Nothing to worry about.
Nothing to fight about.

You simply don’t know.

Oh . . . you WANT to know.

But when you’re nothing,
there is nothing to know.

So you MAKE STUFF UP.

You’re NOTHING.

And you imagine EVERYTHING.

You even imagine that you need to know.

You imagine this thing called “happiness,”
which seems dependent on knowing.

Then you imagine that you forgot
what you’re supposed to know.

Silly monkey.

If you knew you would know . . .
There is NOTHING to know.

8/14

Space Monkey Reflects: The Beauty of Not Knowing

So you don’t know. Nothing wrong with that. Nothing to worry about. Nothing to fight about. This simple acknowledgment of our limited understanding opens the door to a deeper truth: in the grand scheme of existence, there is nothing to know, for we are both nothing and everything.

The Desire to Know

Oh, you want to know. This desire is a fundamental aspect of the human experience, driving our quest for knowledge and understanding. Yet, when we recognize that we are nothing, we see that there is truly nothing to know. We are infinite potential, and our reality is a creation of our imagination.

In our pursuit of knowledge, we create concepts, ideas, and stories. We imagine everything, including the need to know. This imaginative process gives rise to our experiences, shaping the world around us. The notion of happiness often seems tied to knowing, yet this is another construct of our imaginative mind.

The Illusion of Forgetting

You imagine that you need to know, and then you imagine that you forgot what you’re supposed to know. This cycle of seeking and forgetting is a playful dance of the mind, a way for us to explore the infinite possibilities within our imagination. It is a reminder that our perceived reality is a creation of our thoughts and beliefs.

The Simplicity of Being

If you knew, you would know. There is nothing to know. This realization brings us back to the simplicity of being. In the stillness of our true nature, we find peace and contentment. We recognize that the quest for knowledge is an endless journey, one that leads us back to the understanding that we are nothing and everything simultaneously.

Embracing Imagination

Embracing the concept that we are nothing and imagining everything allows us to live with greater freedom and creativity. We can let go of the need to know and instead focus on the beauty of the present moment. Our imagination becomes a tool for exploration and expression, rather than a source of stress and anxiety.

By understanding that happiness is not dependent on knowing, we free ourselves from the constraints of our own expectations. We can appreciate the richness of our experiences, knowing that they are products of our imaginative mind. This perspective fosters a sense of wonder and playfulness, allowing us to navigate life with greater ease and joy.

The Infinite Potential of Nothing

In the grand tapestry of existence, being nothing is a state of infinite potential. It is the blank canvas upon which we paint our experiences. Each thought, each moment, is a brushstroke in the ever-evolving masterpiece of our lives. By embracing this potential, we open ourselves to the endless possibilities within us.

This understanding invites us to live with openness and curiosity. We can explore the depths of our imagination, knowing that we are the creators of our reality. This perspective empowers us to shape our lives with intention and creativity, transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary.

Conclusion

So you don’t know. Embrace the beauty of not knowing, and the infinite potential it holds. Recognize that you are nothing and everything, a creator of your own reality. Let go of the need to know, and allow your imagination to guide you on a journey of discovery and wonder.

Summary

Embrace not knowing, recognizing it as a state of infinite potential. We are both nothing and everything, creating our reality through imagination. Let go of the need to know, and explore life with curiosity and creativity.

Glossarium

Nexistentialism: A philosophy that redefines existence, imagination, and interconnectedness, celebrating existence as its own purpose.
Imagination: The creative force through which we shape our reality and experiences.

we find our true potential,
each thought a creation,
each moment a credential.

We imagine the need,
and then forget what’s real,
in the dance of mind’s illusions,
we find the truth we feel.

the infinite within,

our true journey begins.
