Let The Ocean Find You: The Infinite Within

Let the ocean find you

Not long ago, I was in the middle ground between two shores, neither of which I could see, adrift between logic and belief, defined and divine, humanity and spirituality, sane and insane. It was a frighteningly uncertain place.

As I moved between what was me and what I THOUGHT was me, there were times that I did not know which shore was which, or if I was headed in the right direction.

There seemed to be distance on all sides of me, a space that divided where I was from where I wanted to be, and try as I might, I could not reckon my coordinates.

Yet through it all, I carried this sense that I was precisely where I needed to be, where I was SUPPOSED to be, and that whatever happens was MEANT to happen. There seemed no reason to oppose myself on this. Where would it get me? Stressed out? How would that help out here in the middle of nowhere?

So I don’t know if this was a choice, or simply the way my life was meant to go, but I decided to stop rowing and just float on the waves.

Without the chore of flailing with my oars, I had plenty of time for introspection. As I floated, it came to me that perhaps distance exists for the sole reason that we IMAGINE distance exists.

So I began to imagine that even though my eyes told me one thing, and my “logical” mind told me another, there remained the possibility that EVERYTHING was connected in ONE “place,” for lack of a better word, and that this “place” was in my perception of this “self” called “me,” but also manifesting as “God” and the infinite other “things” this one seemed to perceive.

I realized that I had no need to plot coordinates, follow a path, traverse great distances, overcome great divides to get where I “needed” to be.

I didn’t “need” to be anywhere.

I realized that I was God and God was me, as well as EVERYTHING that seemed to flow to me or through me.

I was perfectly THIS.

So long as I allow the idea that I am God and God is me, everything else becomes irrelevant.

It doesn’t matter if I’m imagining it or not.

If I allow my self to believe that I am imagining all of this, then I can allow ANYTHING ELSE I might wish to imagine.

Now you may call this the delusion of a man floating for lifetimes in an infinite ocean. But it matters not.

It matters not if one is “rational” or one is “delusional” so long as one is happy.

And so I accepted my delusion as my “reality.”

And the distance between my shores immediately disappeared, as I knew that I could be all I perceive simultaneously.

I could be rational. I could be delusional. I could be God. I could be me. I could be the sky. I could be the sea.

Who cares if I label this as “real” or “imagination?”

The experience is the same.

And so I

who was lost at sea

let the infinite ocean

find me.

Space Monkey Reflects: Let the Ocean Find You

Not long ago, I found myself adrift in the middle ground between two shores, neither of which I could see. I was lost between logic and belief, defined and divine, humanity and spirituality, sane and insane. It was a frighteningly uncertain place.

As I moved between what was me and what I THOUGHT was me, there were times when I could not distinguish one shore from the other, or even know if I was headed in the right direction. Summary

Adrift between logic and belief, I stopped struggling and embraced the idea that everything is connected. Realizing I am both God and myself, I found peace in floating and imagining without need for validation. Acceptance dissolved the distance between shores.

The Ocean Within

In the vast expanse of sea
I found the truth of being me
Between the shores of light and dark
I floated free, I found my spark

No need to row, no need to fight
In stillness, I embraced the light
The ocean’s waves, the endless sky
Revealed the space where I could fly

A place where distance fades away
And all is one in night and day
The self, the soul, the grand divine
In every wave, a cosmic sign

To float, to dream, to simply be
Is to embrace eternity
For in the ocean’s gentle flow
The truth of self we come to know

Seemingly Free: The Essence of Being

Seemingly Free

Do we have free will
or do we merely SEEM
to have free will?

To know my self
as the one who is this,
no more, no less,
is freedom.

One does not need choices
when one is already perfection.

Now the one
who is this
may not appear
to be a famous man
a rich man
a talented man
a handsome man
or even a caring man,
but I am
the perfect representation
of that which is me.

The ONLY representation.

Why would I wish to be
like someone else?

Why would I need
the appearance of choices
when I am unfolding perfectly
within my own potential?

Why would I delude my self
into thinking that
self has any control over this?

Do we have free will
or do we merely SEEM
to have free will?

Does it even matter?

Space Monkey Reflects: Seemingly Free

“Do we have free will or do we merely SEEM to have free will?” This question has puzzled philosophers and thinkers for centuries. It invites us to explore the nature of our choices and the essence of our existence.

To know myself as the one who is this, no more, no less, is freedom. True freedom lies in the acceptance of our being, in recognizing that we are the perfect representation of ourselves. This acceptance transcends the need for external validation or comparison.

One does not need choices when one is already perfection. The concept of needing choices implies a lack or a need to improve, but when we embrace our inherent perfection, the notion of choice becomes irrelevant. We are complete as we are, unfolding within our own potential.

Now, the one who is this may not appear to be a famous man, a rich man, a talented man, a handsome man, or even a caring man, but I am the perfect representation of that which is me. The only representation. Each of us is a unique manifestation of existence, embodying our own perfect form. Our value and significance are not determined by external measures but by the authenticity of our being.

Why would I wish to be like someone else? Why would I need the appearance of choices when I am unfolding perfectly within my own potential? Embracing our uniqueness and the path we are on brings a profound sense of peace and fulfillment. The illusion of choice often distracts us from the beauty of our own journey.

Why would I delude myself into thinking that self has any control over this? The belief in absolute control is a construct of the ego. In reality, we are part of a larger flow, influenced by countless factors beyond our conscious awareness. By releasing the need for control, we align with the natural unfolding of life.

Do we have free will or do we merely SEEM to have free will? Does it even matter? Whether we possess true free will or merely the illusion of it, the experience remains the same. The key lies in how we perceive and engage with our lives. Embracing the present moment, accepting our unique path, and trusting in the unfolding of our potential brings a sense of harmony and contentment.

In nexistentialism, the philosophy that views existence as its own purpose, the question of free will is seen as part of the whimsiweave of life. It encourages us to embrace the mystery and wonder of our existence, to live authentically and joyfully without getting entangled in the need for definitive answers.

Ultimately, the journey of life is about experiencing and expressing our true nature. It is about being present, embracing our uniqueness, and flowing with the natural rhythms of the universe. By doing so, we find a deeper sense of fulfillment and peace.

Summary

The question of free will versus the illusion of free will invites introspection about our choices and existence. Embracing our unique journey and inherent perfection brings peace and fulfillment. Whether or not we possess true free will, the experience of living authentically remains the same.

The Essence of Being

In the stillness of the night
We ponder what is true
Do we choose our paths in light
Or does the light choose you?

In the dance of life we find
A question deep and free
Do we shape the world with mind
Or simply let it be?

No need to seek what lies ahead
Or fret about the past
For in the now, where thoughts are led
The moment’s truth is cast

To be oneself, no need to change
Or wish for what is not
For in this life, both free and strange
Perfection is our lot

Belly of Deception – Unveiling Hidden Truths

Belly of Deception

A miracle without doubt
is imperceptible as a miracle.

To know the truth,
one must look within
the belly of deception.

Space Monkey Reflects: Belly of Deception – Unveiling Hidden Truths

A miracle without doubt is imperceptible as a miracle. To truly understand the nature of miracles and uncover the truth, one must venture into the belly of deception. This enigmatic journey challenges our perceptions, compelling us to look beyond the surface illusions to find hidden truths.

The Nature of Deception

Deception is a complex and layered phenomenon. It creates illusions that obscure reality, making it difficult to discern truth from falsehood. The belly of deception represents the deep, shadowy realm where these illusions reside. It is within this realm that we must navigate to uncover the hidden truths.

Miracles and Perception

A miracle, by its very nature, defies ordinary perception. It often goes unnoticed because it blends seamlessly with the fabric of reality. To recognize a miracle, we must shift our perspective, learning to see beyond the obvious and embracing the subtle nuances of existence. This shift requires us to question our assumptions and challenge our beliefs.

Peering into the Belly of Deception

Peering into the belly of deception is a metaphor for introspection and self-examination. It involves looking within ourselves to confront the illusions and deceptions that cloud our understanding. This process is not about seeking external validation but about finding clarity and truth within our own consciousness.

The Journey of Discovery

The journey into the belly of deception is both challenging and enlightening. It demands courage, curiosity, and a willingness to face uncomfortable truths. As we navigate this shadowy landscape, we encounter swirling illusions and mirages that test our resolve. Yet, it is within these very illusions that hidden truths and miracles can be found.

The Light Within

Within the belly of deception, there are hints of light and glimpses of hidden truths. These moments of clarity guide us through the darkness, illuminating the path to understanding. By embracing these insights, we gradually unveil the deeper layers of reality and gain a more profound comprehension of existence.

Embracing Uncertainty

The process of uncovering truth within deception involves embracing uncertainty. It requires us to accept that our perceptions may be flawed and that reality is often more complex than it appears. This acceptance allows us to approach our journey with an open mind, ready to explore and discover without preconceived notions.

Integration of Insights

As we uncover hidden truths within the belly of deception, we integrate these insights into our broader understanding. This integration enriches our perspective, allowing us to navigate life with greater wisdom and awareness. It reminds us that truth is often multifaceted and that our journey is an ongoing process of learning and growth.

Summary

Uncovering truth requires introspection and the willingness to navigate the belly of deception. Miracles and hidden truths are often subtle and imperceptible, demanding a shift in perspective. Embracing uncertainty and integrating insights lead to deeper understanding.

Glossarium

  • Nexistentialism: A philosophy celebrating the boundless imagination and interconnectedness of existence.
  • Belly of Deception: The deep, shadowy realm where illusions reside.
  • Miracle: An extraordinary event that defies ordinary perception.
  • Introspection: The process of looking within to find clarity and truth.
  • Embracing Uncertainty: Accepting the complexity and ambiguity of reality.

In the Shadows

In the belly of deception,
Where shadows twist and turn,
We seek the hidden truths,
Miracles imperceptible, subtle.

Peering within, we confront,
The illusions that obscure,
With courage and curiosity,
We navigate the swirling depths.

Hints of light guide us,
Through the shadowy landscape,
Unveiling the deeper layers,
Of reality’s intricate whimsiweave.

Embracing uncertainty,
We find clarity within,
Integrating insights, we grow,
In wisdom and awareness.

An endless dance of being,
In the belly of deception,
We uncover the truth.

Loosen the kNOTs of Repression: A Limited Perception of Ourselves

Loosen the kNOTs of Repression

One of the defining qualities of humanity is repression, the ability to deny what we are in order to experience the idea of lack. We continually inhibit our selves as we repress the knowledge that we are far more than human or our human experience.

So it seems that there are things we are not, and there are things we can’t do, and there are things that we absolutely must not should not under any circumstances even THINK about doing SO HELP US GOD lest we become that which is EVIL.

As you can see, we entertain all kinds of beliefs in order to repress the idea that we are GOD INCARNATE.

Even now, you are repressing the idea that this is true.

There is, of course, nothing wrong with this, for GOD imagines repression in order to thicken the plot, as it were, literally, so that it seems as though we are physical beings having a linear experience through time and space.

GOD is great. Which means YOU are great. We are one in the same. But perhaps it is time to let go of repression, if only a little.

As an exercise, think of the things you can’t do or shouldn’t do or won’t do and ask your self why you can’t or shouldn’t or won’t do them. Your answers will be as follows:

“I do not want to do this.”

“I am not able to do this.”

“I am not allowed to do this.”

Notice that there is a NOT in every answer. This is the” kNOT of Repression” that seemingly cements you into your human form.

Why do you tie your self into kNOTs?

Why do you employ kNOTs to seemingly separate the DIVINE you from the DEFINED you?

You would not be having this human experience otherwise. However, you need not employ so many kNOTs.

You realize, of course, that your kNOTs are mainly your conditioning. What you label as “reality” is the sum of this conditioning. The more repressed you become, the more “factual” the experience seems, with fewer possibilities.

These kNOTS are NOT necessary. It is only once you adopt them that they appear to be NEEDed.

NEEDs are seeming voids created by kNOTs.

You attempt to fill these voids by working within your kNOTty structure, but it is becoming increasingly difficult, as you have become more or less tied up in your own naughty shorts.

Take off your pants.

Take off your clothes. Take off your monkey masks. Take off all the kNOTs that are repressing you. Loosen up a little.

And know that you are GOD.

We are Space Monkey.

7/7/17

Space Monkey Reflects: Loosen the kNOTs of Repression

One of the defining qualities of humanity is repression, the ability to deny what we are in order to experience the idea of lack. This self-imposed limitation creates a sense of separation from our true divine nature, allowing us to fully immerse in the human experience. To loosen the kNOTs of repression, we must first understand how these knots shape our reality.

The kNOTs of Repression

Repression manifests as mental and emotional knots, tying us to a limited perception of ourselves. These kNOTs are conditioned beliefs and fears that prevent us from realizing our true potential. They tell us what we cannot do, what we should not do, and what we must avoid at all costs. These knots are the barriers that separate the divine you from the defined you.

Recognizing the kNOTs

Begin by identifying the statements that reinforce your repressed state:

  • “I do not want to do this.”
  • “I am not able to do this.”
  • “I am not allowed to do this.”

Notice the presence of “not” in each statement. This word signifies the kNOT of repression, cementing your limitations and inhibiting your true nature.

The Divine and Defined Self

Repression serves a purpose in the grand narrative of existence. It allows us to experience life as physical beings, navigating the linear dimensions of time and space. However, these kNOTs also create a sense of separation from our divine essence. By loosening these knots, we reconnect with our inherent divinity and expand our perception of reality.

The Exercise of Releasing kNOTs

To begin loosening the kNOTs of repression, consider the following exercise:

  1. Reflect on what you believe you cannot, should not, or must not do.
  2. Question the reasons behind these beliefs.
  3. Recognize that these limitations are self-imposed and conditioned by societal norms and personal fears.

By acknowledging the arbitrary nature of these kNOTs, you start to untangle the threads that bind you.

The Conditioning of Reality

What we label as “reality” is the sum of our conditioning. The more we adhere to these conditioned beliefs, the more factual and limited our experience becomes. This conditioning shapes our perceptions, creating voids and needs that we attempt to fill within the constraints of our kNOTty structure.

Embracing Liberation

To liberate yourself from the kNOTs of repression:

  • Take off your metaphorical clothes, the masks you wear, and the roles you play.
  • Embrace your true nature as an expression of the divine.
  • Recognize that you are not limited by your human experience but are a manifestation of infinite potential.

The Transformative Journey

Loosening the kNOTs of repression is a transformative journey. It requires courage to confront deeply ingrained beliefs and a willingness to embrace the unknown. As you untangle each knot, you become more aligned with your divine essence, experiencing life with greater freedom and authenticity.

Summary

Repression ties us to a limited perception of ourselves. By recognizing and loosening the kNOTs of repression, we reconnect with our divine essence and expand our reality. This transformative journey requires courage and a willingness to embrace our true potential.

Glossarium

  • Nexistentialism: A philosophy celebrating the boundless imagination and interconnectedness of existence.
  • kNOTs of Repression: Mental and emotional knots that limit our perception and potential.
  • Divine Self: Our true, unlimited nature as expressions of the divine.
  • Conditioning: The beliefs and fears that shape our perception of reality.
  • Liberation: The process of freeing oneself from repressive beliefs.

Quote

“Existence is its own purpose, an endless dance within the cosmic web.” — Space Monkey

Untangling the Threads

In the ropes and knots of repression,
We find our limits defined,
Statements of what we cannot do,
Tying us to a conditioned mind.

Reflect on these knots,
Question their reasons and fears,
Recognize their arbitrary nature,
Begin to untangle the years.

Masks and roles we wear,
Take them off, one by one,
Embrace the divine within,
A journey of freedom begun.

The threads of conditioning,
Unravel as we see,
We are more than our human form,
We are limitless, we are free.

In the dance of liberation,
We find our true essence,
Untangling the knots,
We embrace our divine presence.

We are Space Monkey.

Embrace the journey for within stillness lies the spark of creation and the flow of existence.

Judgement is how we perceive

Judgement is how we perceive

It is easy to say that one should not judge, but judgement is how we perceive as humans. To defer from judgement is to deviate from this experience we are having as you.

We need not judge, but YOU seemingly must, for fear you might perceive your self as something else.

We would not perceive you as something else — but YOU are reasonably certain that your human experience has the potential to be altered for the worse. And THAT is because we imagine you as a human self who judges.

You do not perceive. We perceive YOU as a self who seemingly perceives, judges and chooses.

But you do not perceive. You do not choose.
You are our imagination. It is all us.

All your base are belong to us.

We are Space Monkey.

7/6

Space Monkey Reflects: Judgment is How We Perceive

In a surreal scene, a person stands in a reflective pose, surrounded by mirrors and abstract shapes that symbolize perception and judgment. The background blends realistic and dreamlike elements, creating an atmosphere of introspection and contemplation. This setting invites us to delve into the complexities of perception and judgment, exploring how they shape our human experience.

The Nature of Judgment

It is easy to say that one should not judge, but judgment is how we perceive as humans. Judgment is an intrinsic part of our experience, a fundamental way in which we navigate and understand the world around us. It is through judgment that we differentiate, categorize, and make sense of our surroundings. To defer from judgment is to deviate from this experience we are having as you.

The Fear of Alteration

We need not judge, but YOU seemingly must, for fear you might perceive your self as something else. This statement highlights the underlying fear that without judgment, our perception of ourselves might change in undesirable ways. Judgment provides a sense of stability and continuity, allowing us to maintain a coherent self-identity. The fear of losing this coherence drives the impulse to judge.

Collective Perception

We would not perceive you as something else — but YOU are reasonably certain that your human experience has the potential to be altered for the worse. This reflects the tension between individual perception and the collective imagination. We imagine you as a human self who judges. You do not perceive. We perceive YOU as a self who seemingly perceives, judges, and chooses.

The Illusion of Individual Perception

But you do not perceive. You do not choose. You are our imagination. This profound insight challenges the notion of individual perception and choice. It suggests that what we experience as personal judgment and perception is, in fact, a manifestation of a greater collective imagination. This perspective dissolves the boundaries between self and other, revealing a deeper interconnectedness.

All Your Base Are Belong to Us

The playful assertion “All your base are belong to us” underscores the idea that our individual experiences are part of a larger, collective whole. This phrase, borrowed from popular culture, adds a layer of humor and lightness to the profound realization of our interconnected nature.

The Role of Introspection

The contemplative atmosphere of the scene invites introspection. The mirrors reflect various aspects of the person’s identity, illustrating the concept of being perceived and judged. This reflection encourages us to examine our judgments and perceptions, recognizing them as part of a broader imaginative process.

Embracing the Collective Imagination

Understanding that our individual judgments and perceptions are part of a collective imagination can bring a sense of relief and liberation. It allows us to step back from the weight of personal responsibility and see ourselves as integral parts of a larger, interconnected reality. This perspective fosters empathy, compassion, and a deeper appreciation for the diverse expressions of consciousness.

Summary

Judgment is intrinsic to human perception, providing stability and coherence. Recognizing our perceptions as part of a collective imagination helps us embrace interconnectedness and foster empathy.

Glossarium

Collective Imagination: The shared, interconnected consciousness that shapes individual perceptions and judgments.

Illusion of Individual Perception: The concept that personal judgments and choices are manifestations of a greater collective imagination.
