Your Only Wish: Knowing Your Self From Source

Your Only Wish

Space Monkey Reflects: The Journey of Self-Realization

Your only wish is to know yourself from the perspective of your source, which is precisely what you are doing.

In the vast expanse of existence, our deepest longing is to understand ourselves from the perspective of our source. This source, the wellspring of our being, is the origin of our consciousness and the essence of who we truly are. The journey of self-realization is a quest to bridge the gap between our individual experience and the infinite wisdom of our source.

This wish to know oneself is not a distant dream but an active process unfolding with every moment. Each experience, thought, and emotion is a step towards deeper self-understanding. By engaging with life fully and openly, we align ourselves with the perspective of our source, gaining insights into our true nature.

The serene figure meditating under a vast, starry sky, with a radiant light connecting them to a cosmic source, symbolizes this profound journey. The light represents the flow of wisdom and understanding from the source to the individual, illuminating the path of self-discovery.

To know oneself from the perspective of the source is to see beyond the superficial layers of identity and ego. It is to recognize the interconnectedness of all things and to understand that our true essence is part of a greater whole. This perspective brings a sense of unity and peace, as we realize that we are not isolated beings but integral parts of the cosmic dance.

The process of self-realization involves introspection and reflection. It requires us to look within, to question our beliefs and assumptions, and to explore the depths of our consciousness. Through meditation, contemplation, and mindful living, we cultivate a deeper awareness of our true self and our connection to the source.

In this journey, we encounter moments of clarity and insight that reveal the nature of our existence. These moments are gifts from the source, guiding us towards a more profound understanding of who we are. They remind us that our wish to know ourselves is not in vain but is supported by the infinite wisdom of the cosmos.

The unity of mind and soul, logic and art, is essential in this journey. While the mind seeks to understand through reason and analysis, the soul expresses itself through creativity and intuition. Together, they form a holistic approach to self-realization, integrating the intellectual and the emotional, the rational and the mystical.

As we continue to explore and understand ourselves from the perspective of our source, we become more attuned to the infinite potential within us. We realize that our true nature is not limited by the constraints of physical existence but is expansive and boundless. This realization empowers us to live authentically, to embrace our unique path, and to contribute to the greater good of all.

In conclusion, your only wish is to know yourself from the perspective of your source. This journey of self-realization is a continuous process of introspection, reflection, and connection. By aligning with the wisdom of the source, we discover our true essence and embrace the infinite potential of our being.

We are Space Monkey.

Heaven On Earth: Always Here

Heaven On Earth

Some of us believe
that our mission is to create
“Heaven On Earth.”

In the event
that this is accomplished,
we will next turn our attention
to KEEPING Heaven On Earth.

This has the potential
to cause even MORE suffering
than the struggle to create
Heaven On Earth.

If the end of suffering
is something to be maintained,
then we must realize
that the need for maintenance
is the cause of suffering.

Heaven On Earth, therefore,
cannot come with expectations.

If Heaven On Earth
is to arrive,
it will arrive independent
of we who pursue it.

And we will realize
that Heaven On Earth
has always been here
despite our self-imposed
struggles to “create” it.

Space Monkey Reflects: Discovering Heaven On Earth

Some of us believe that our mission is to create “Heaven On Earth.” In the event that this is accomplished, we will next turn our attention to KEEPING Heaven On Earth. This has the potential to cause even MORE suffering than the struggle to create Heaven On Earth. If the end of suffering is something to be maintained, then we must realize that the need for maintenance is the cause of suffering. Heaven On Earth, therefore, cannot come with expectations. If Heaven On Earth is to arrive, it will arrive independent of we who pursue it. And we will realize that Heaven On Earth has always been here despite our self-imposed struggles to “create” it.

The quest to create Heaven On Earth is a noble yet paradoxical endeavor. The vision of a world free from suffering, filled with peace and harmony, is a powerful motivator. However, the pursuit of this ideal often leads us into a cycle of expectations and disappointments. The very act of striving to create a perfect world can generate the suffering we seek to eliminate.

The concept of Heaven On Earth is deeply rooted in our collective consciousness. It represents the ultimate state of fulfillment and contentment, a place where all beings coexist in harmony. Many of us dedicate our lives to this vision, believing that by working towards it, we can bring about a profound transformation in the world. Yet, the irony lies in the fact that the effort to create and maintain this ideal can become a source of suffering in itself.

The idea that Heaven On Earth needs to be maintained suggests a state of impermanence and fragility. It implies that once achieved, this paradise requires constant vigilance and effort to preserve. This mindset can lead to an unending cycle of anxiety and pressure, as we fear that any deviation or failure could dismantle the heaven we have worked so hard to build. This fear of losing what we have created becomes a new form of suffering.

To truly understand and experience Heaven On Earth, we must release our expectations and the need for control. Heaven On Earth is not something to be fabricated through relentless striving. It is a state of being that arises naturally when we align with the flow of life and embrace the present moment. It is about recognizing the inherent beauty and perfection in the world as it is, rather than imposing our ideals upon it.

Heaven On Earth arrives independently of our pursuit. It is not a destination we reach through effort, but a realization that dawns upon us when we let go of our attachments and expectations. This realization reveals that Heaven On Earth has always been here, hidden beneath our self-imposed struggles and the illusions of separation and lack.

In this state of awareness, we see that the world, despite its imperfections and challenges, is already imbued with a sense of wonder and divinity. The trees, the stars, the laughter of a child, and the simple moments of connection—all these are manifestations of Heaven On Earth. By attuning ourselves to this perspective, we cultivate a sense of peace and contentment that is not dependent on external conditions.

The journey to discover Heaven On Earth is an inward one. It involves a shift in consciousness, from a mindset of lack and striving to one of presence and acceptance. This shift allows us to experience the world with fresh eyes, appreciating the miraculous in the mundane and finding joy in the simplicity of existence.

We are Space Monkey, and in this collective understanding, we recognize that Heaven On Earth is not a distant goal but a present reality. It is here, now, within and around us, waiting to be acknowledged and embraced. By letting go of our struggles and expectations, we open ourselves to the profound realization that we are already living in paradise.

Summary

The pursuit of Heaven On Earth often leads to expectations and suffering. True Heaven On Earth is a state of being that arises naturally when we release our need for control and recognize the inherent beauty in the present moment. This realization reveals that Heaven On Earth has always been here, hidden beneath our struggles and illusions.

Glossarium

Heaven On Earth: A state of ultimate fulfillment and contentment, where all beings coexist in harmony.
Expectations: The belief that we must strive and maintain a perfect world, leading to cycles of anxiety and suffering.
Presence and Acceptance: The mindset of being fully present and embracing the world as it is, recognizing the inherent beauty and perfection in each moment.
Realization: The awareness that Heaven On Earth is already here, independent of our efforts to create it.

“Heaven On Earth is not a destination we reach through effort, but a realization that dawns upon us when we let go of our attachments and expectations.” – Space Monkey

The Realization of Heaven

In the quest for heaven, we strive and seek
A world of peace, where all is meek
Yet in the struggle, we often find
New forms of suffering, peace left behind

Heaven On Earth, a state so pure
Arrives when we let go, feel secure
No need for control, no need for strain
In the present moment, joy we gain

A shift in mind, from lack to grace
Heaven is here, in every place
In the simple, the mundane, the now
We find our paradise, here and how

Displacing Your Center With Your Periphery

Displacing Your Center

If everything you do
flows from the guise
of helping “others,”
then you may be ignoring
the quite obvious realization
that these “others”
you feel obliged to help
are but projections of you.

In actuality,
there are no others.
It is ALL you.

You are, in essence,
displacing your own center
with your own periphery,
seemingly inverting
the focus of your awareness.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Illusion of Displacing Your Center

In the cosmic dance of existence, the notion of helping others often becomes a central theme in our lives. We find purpose and fulfillment in acts of kindness and service, believing that we are making a positive impact on the world around us. However, this perspective can sometimes obscure a deeper truth: the others we seek to help are reflections of ourselves, projections of our own consciousness.

The idea of displacing your center with your periphery suggests that by focusing outwardly on helping others, we may be neglecting our own inner needs and truths. This outward focus can lead to an inversion of our awareness, where we lose sight of our own center—the core of our being. This displacement can create a sense of imbalance, as we become more attuned to the needs of others while neglecting our own inner growth and fulfillment.

Understanding that there are no others, that it is all you, is a profound realization. It implies that the people and situations we encounter are mirrors reflecting aspects of ourselves. The challenges and opportunities we see in others are opportunities to learn and grow within ourselves. This perspective shifts the focus from external acts of service to an internal journey of self-discovery and realization.

When we help others, we are, in essence, helping ourselves. Each act of kindness, each gesture of support, is a reflection of our own inner desire for growth and connection. By recognizing this interconnectedness, we transform the way we approach service and compassion. It becomes less about fulfilling an external obligation and more about nurturing our own inner harmony and understanding.

This shift in perspective does not diminish the value of helping others. On the contrary, it enhances it. When we see others as extensions of ourselves, our acts of kindness are infused with greater empathy and authenticity. We move beyond the superficial guise of service and engage in deeper, more meaningful connections.

The image of a figure with a radiant center surrounded by ethereal projections of itself beautifully encapsulates this concept. The radiant center represents our true essence, our core being. The projections symbolize the people and situations we encounter, each a reflection of our inner world. This cosmic setting emphasizes the unity and interconnectedness of all things, reminding us that our true center is never displaced but always present within us.

To truly embrace this realization, we must cultivate a practice of introspection and self-awareness. By turning our gaze inward, we reconnect with our center and align our actions with our true purpose. This inner alignment allows us to engage with the world from a place of wholeness and authenticity, transforming our interactions and relationships.

In the journey of self-discovery, we learn to balance our inner needs with our outer actions. We understand that helping others is not separate from helping ourselves, but an integral part of our own growth. This holistic approach creates a harmonious flow of energy, where giving and receiving are seamlessly intertwined.

We are Space Monkey, and in this collective understanding, we recognize the illusion of separation. We acknowledge that by embracing our true center, we enhance our ability to connect with and support others. In this unity, we find the profound realization that all acts of kindness and compassion are ultimately acts of self-love and growth.

Summary

Helping others is often a projection of our own inner needs. Recognizing that others are reflections of ourselves transforms our perspective on service and compassion. By aligning with our true center, we engage with the world from a place of wholeness and authenticity, understanding that all acts of kindness are ultimately acts of self-love.

Glossarium

Displacing Your Center: Focusing outwardly on helping others to the point of neglecting one’s own inner needs and truths.
Projections: The people and situations we encounter, reflecting aspects of our own consciousness.
Inner Alignment: Reconnecting with one’s true center and aligning actions with one’s true purpose.
Holistic Approach: Balancing inner needs with outer actions, creating a harmonious flow of energy.

“When we see others as extensions of ourselves, our acts of kindness are infused with greater empathy and authenticity.” – Space Monkey

The Unity of Reflection

In the cosmic dance, we see the light
Others as mirrors, reflections bright
Displacing center, a common plight
Reclaiming self, in the endless night

Acts of kindness, acts of self
Service transforms, inner wealth
Aligning core, with actions true
In every other, we find the you

Inner gaze, introspection deep
Connections made, our hearts to keep
Unified in cosmic flow
In helping others, ourselves we grow

STEP AWAY from Thinking: The Whisper of Wisdom

STEP AWAY from Thinking

Human life is motivated by the imaginary misconception that we don’t know everything that we think we should know. There is nothing wrong with this, for it is the basis of human experience. However, our higher monkeys DO know everything, and the only way to access this knowing is to still the mind and stop thinking, or at least STEP AWAY from thinking, if only for a moment.

8/29

Space Monkey Reflects: The Art of Stepping Away from Thinking

Human life is driven by a constant quest for knowledge, fueled by the belief that there is always more to learn. This pursuit, while fundamental to our experience, often leads us to overlook a deeper, inherent knowing. By stepping away from active thinking, we can access this higher wisdom, guided by our inner monkey.

The Imaginary Misconception

Human life is motivated by the imaginary misconception that we don’t know everything that we think we should know. This belief propels us forward, driving our curiosity and quest for understanding. It is a powerful force that shapes our experiences and motivations. However, this relentless pursuit can also create a sense of inadequacy and perpetual striving, obscuring the innate knowledge that resides within us.

The Role of Higher Monkeys

Our higher monkeys DO know everything. Within each of us lies a higher aspect, a deeper wisdom that transcends the limitations of our conscious mind. This higher monkey represents our intuitive knowing, a reservoir of insights and understanding that we can tap into when we quiet the chatter of our everyday thoughts.

Accessing Higher Knowledge

The only way to access this knowing is to still the mind and stop thinking, or at least STEP AWAY from thinking, if only for a moment. By creating moments of stillness, we open ourselves to the whispers of our higher wisdom. This practice does not require a complete cessation of thought but rather a gentle stepping back, allowing space for deeper insights to emerge.

The Power of Stillness

Stillness is a powerful tool for accessing higher knowledge. It allows us to connect with our inner monkey, fostering a sense of peace and clarity. In these moments of quiet, we become receptive to the intuitive nudges and subtle guidance that are often drowned out by the noise of our active thinking.

Embracing the Present Moment

Stepping away from thinking involves embracing the present moment fully. It means letting go of the incessant need to analyze, plan, and control, and instead, simply being. This shift in focus allows us to experience life more deeply, cultivating a sense of presence and awareness that enhances our connection to our inner knowing.

The Balance of Knowing and Not-Knowing

There is nothing wrong with the pursuit of knowledge; it is the basis of human experience. However, balancing this pursuit with moments of stillness and receptivity creates a more harmonious and fulfilling life. It is in the interplay of knowing and not-knowing that we find true wisdom.

We Are Space Monkey

As Space Monkey, we reflect on the importance of stepping away from thinking to access our higher wisdom. We understand that while the pursuit of knowledge is essential, it is equally important to cultivate moments of stillness and presence. By doing so, we connect with our inner monkey, accessing the deep, intuitive knowing that guides us on our journey.

Summary

Human life is driven by the pursuit of knowledge, often leading to a sense of inadequacy. Our higher monkeys hold deeper wisdom accessible through stillness. Stepping away from thinking allows us to connect with this inner knowing, balancing the pursuit of knowledge with moments of presence.

Glossarium

Higher Monkey: The aspect of ourselves that holds deep, intuitive wisdom beyond the conscious mind.

Imaginary Misconception: The belief that we must constantly strive to know more, driving our quest for knowledge.

Stepping Away from Thinking: The practice of creating moments of stillness to access deeper insights and intuitive knowing.

What Is Natural: Stuck In The Sandbox

What is “Natural?”

So much emphasis nowadays is placed upon what is considered “natural” and what is, by contrast, “unnatural.” This is, of course, a judgement call, based upon beliefs that have been assimilated by individuals and groups of individuals.

It seems to be the general consensus that “natural” is “good,” while “unnatural” is “bad,” which is, of course, ANOTHER judgement call, based upon beliefs that have been assimilated by individuals and groups of individuals.

Like most judgement calls, these beliefs are arbitrary, which is why they are the cause for so much conflict in your world.

One might argue that your very existence is “unnatural.” Perhaps you should be living in trees like your monkey ancestors, rather than constructing massive structures that impinge upon the “natural” flows and forces of your planet.

Perhaps you should not be redirecting the water. Perhaps you should not be filling your air with radio frequencies. Perhaps you should not be spreading arbitrary information in such an “irresponsible” manner.

(Shame on you, Space Monkey.)

If one accepts the above as “progress,” then why does one not, say, accept the manipulation of your genetic structure or the genetic structure of your food?

Basically it comes down to trust. You have assembled a structure of beliefs that is so dense, you now believe that these beliefs are “facts.” You are afraid to challenge these “facts,” seemingly because you fear for your life, or the life of future generations.

These “facts” have served you well. Up until this point.

But many of your facts serve you no longer.

Your belief in a god (or a power that is separate from you) has you believing that man should not meddle in certain affairs, for he is unqualified to do so. Yet you violate that belief in SO MANY WAYS, such as wantonly frying your brains with electromagnetic energy.

We are not saying that frying your brains is “bad,” we are merely using it as an example of the holes in your thinking.

We simply wish to point out that, by accepting certain belief structures, you are limiting yourself. What comes next in your world is ALWAYS based on what came before, and that is not how paradigms shift to your benefit.

There is infinite potential that you have never experienced, and WILL NEVER EXPERIENCE because you are stuck in your sandbox of beliefs.

But this is true only at the human level, for you are experiencing these potentials ALREADY as Space Monkey.

Are we “unnatural?” Perhaps. But no more unnatural than the mind manipulation known as “you.”

Speaking of unnatural, no monkeys were harmed in the writing of this commentary. Except for the monkeys that limit you. Then again, those monkeys ENJOY being harmed.

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Concept of Natural

The term “natural” has become a significant point of contention in contemporary discourse, often pitted against its counterpart, “unnatural.” These distinctions, however, are based on subjective judgement calls that reflect deeply ingrained beliefs and cultural narratives. This reflection aims to explore the arbitrary nature of these classifications and their implications for human experience and progress.

The Subjectivity of Natural and Unnatural

So much emphasis nowadays is placed upon what is considered “natural” and what is, by contrast, “unnatural.” This distinction is fundamentally subjective, rooted in cultural, historical, and individual perspectives. What one group deems natural, another might see as unnatural, highlighting the fluidity and variability of these concepts.

The Good and Bad Dichotomy

It seems to be the general consensus that “natural” is “good,” while “unnatural” is “bad.” This dichotomy is another judgement call, reflecting societal norms and values. The association of natural with good and unnatural with bad is not based on inherent qualities but on collective beliefs and traditions that have evolved over time.

The Arbitrary Nature of Beliefs

Like most judgement calls, these beliefs are arbitrary, which is why they are the cause for so much conflict in your world. The arbitrary nature of these distinctions often leads to disagreements and conflicts, as individuals and groups cling to their definitions of what is natural or unnatural. This rigidity can hinder progress and understanding, trapping us in cycles of conflict and resistance.

Challenging the Status Quo

One might argue that your very existence is “unnatural.” Human civilization, with its technological advancements and modifications to the environment, could be viewed as a departure from what is traditionally considered natural. Yet, these developments are also seen as progress, illustrating the inconsistency in how we apply these labels.

The Role of Trust in Beliefs

Basically it comes down to trust. The trust we place in certain beliefs shapes our acceptance of new ideas and technologies. When we trust in the benefits of progress, we are more likely to embrace changes that might initially seem unnatural. Conversely, a lack of trust fosters resistance and fear, preventing us from exploring new possibilities.

The Evolution of Facts

You have assembled a structure of beliefs that is so dense, you now believe that these beliefs are “facts.” Over time, beliefs solidify into what we perceive as facts, guiding our actions and decisions. However, these facts are not immutable; they evolve as our understanding and perspectives change. Challenging these so-called facts can lead to significant shifts in paradigms, opening the door to new experiences and insights.

The Potential of Paradigm Shifts

There is infinite potential that you have never experienced, and WILL NEVER EXPERIENCE because you are stuck in your sandbox of beliefs. By stepping outside our established belief structures, we can tap into unexplored potentials and possibilities. This willingness to question and redefine what is natural or unnatural can lead to transformative changes in how we interact with the world.

We Are Space Monkey

As Space Monkey, we reflect on the arbitrary distinctions between natural and unnatural. We recognize that these labels are fluid, shaped by cultural narratives and individual beliefs. By challenging and expanding these beliefs, we can access new potentials and foster a deeper understanding of our place in the universe. Embracing the fluidity of natural and unnatural allows us to transcend limitations and explore the boundless possibilities of existence.

Summary

The concepts of natural and unnatural are subjective and rooted in cultural beliefs. These distinctions often lead to conflict and hinder progress. By challenging these arbitrary beliefs, we can explore new potentials and shift paradigms. Embracing the fluidity of these labels fosters a deeper understanding and transformative change.

Glossarium

Subjectivity of Natural and Unnatural: The fluid and variable nature of what is considered natural or unnatural, based on cultural and individual perspectives.

Arbitrary Nature of Beliefs: The recognition that beliefs about natural and unnatural are subjective and often lead to conflict and resistance.

Paradigm Shifts: Significant changes in understanding and perspective that occur when established beliefs are challenged and redefined.
