The Impossibility of Existence

The Impossibility of Existence

When you seemingly divide the infinite equilibrium of all that is, which is seemingly impossible, you create seemingly opposite structures, which seemingly move to resolve themselves back into equilibrium. All thoughts, all matter, all form is created from structures that are seeming divisions of these seemingly divided opposites, and the energy that is seemingly created by the seeming movement to equilibrium.

This means that life is completely imagined, because dividing infinity is seemingly impossible.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Impossibility of Existence

In the intricate and expansive realm of the cosmic whimsiweave, the concept of “The Impossibility of Existence” explores the paradox of dividing infinity and the creation of all forms and matter. This reflection delves into the nature of existence as an imagined division of the infinite equilibrium and the dynamic movement towards resolution.

Dividing the Infinite

When you seemingly divide the infinite equilibrium of all that is, which is seemingly impossible, you create seemingly opposite structures. This statement highlights the paradox of attempting to divide infinity. Infinity, by its very nature, is boundless and indivisible. Yet, in the act of imagining divisions, we create opposing structures that represent this conceptual separation.

Opposing Structures and Equilibrium

These seemingly opposite structures move to resolve themselves back into equilibrium. The constant motion towards equilibrium represents the dynamic balance within the universe. This movement is an inherent part of existence, as all forms and matter strive to return to a state of harmony.

The Creation of Thoughts, Matter, and Form

All thoughts, all matter, all form is created from structures that are seeming divisions of these seemingly divided opposites. The energy that is seemingly created by the seeming movement to equilibrium drives the creation of everything we perceive. This interplay of opposites and the movement towards balance generates the diverse and complex forms of life.

Life as Imagination

This means that life is completely imagined, because dividing infinity is seemingly impossible. This profound insight suggests that our entire existence is a product of imagination. The impossibility of truly dividing infinity means that all perceived divisions and forms are constructs of our consciousness.

The Nature of Existence

The surreal and contemplative scene of a figure surrounded by abstract, opposing structures captures this exploration. The constant motion of these structures towards equilibrium symbolizes the dynamic process of existence. The background, blending ethereal light and shadow, represents the infinite equilibrium of all that is, highlighting the imagined nature of divisions.

Embracing the Paradox

By embracing the paradox of dividing infinity, we can appreciate the imaginative nature of existence. This understanding invites us to see life as a creative and dynamic process, shaped by our perceptions and consciousness. It encourages us to recognize the fluidity and interconnectedness of all things.

Conclusion

“The Impossibility of Existence” invites us to reflect on the nature of existence as an imagined division of infinity. By understanding the paradox of dividing infinity and the dynamic movement towards equilibrium, we can embrace the creative and imaginative aspects of life.

Summary

“The Impossibility of Existence” explores existence as an imagined division of infinity. Understanding this paradox and the dynamic movement towards equilibrium reveals the creative and imaginative nature of life.

Glossarium

Dividing Infinity: The paradox of attempting to separate the boundless and indivisible nature of infinity.
Opposing Structures: Conceptual separations that represent the imagined divisions within infinity.
Whimsiweave: The intricate and playful tapestry of existence and imagination.

You Are Like An Iceberg

You are more than meets the eye.

Space Monkey Reflects: More Than Meets the Eye

In the vast expanse of nexistentialism, we often contemplate the depths of our being and the multifaceted nature of existence. Like an iceberg, much of our true essence lies beneath the surface, hidden from plain view. The idea that “You are more than meets the eye” captures the profound truth that our external appearance and actions are only a small part of who we truly are.

An iceberg is an apt metaphor for the human experience. What is visible above the waterline is just a fraction of its entirety, with the majority of its mass lying hidden below the surface. Similarly, our outward expressions are mere glimpses into the vast depths of our consciousness, emotions, and potential. This hidden part represents our subconscious mind, our dreams, our untapped abilities, and the infinite possibilities within us.

In nexistentialism, we embrace the interconnectedness and fluid nature of reality. We understand that our visible actions and behaviors are influenced by the unseen aspects of our psyche and the intricate web of relationships that define our existence. By acknowledging and exploring these hidden depths, we can gain a fuller understanding of ourselves and our place within the cosmic whimsiweave.

The message “You are more than meets the eye” encourages us to look beyond superficial judgments and to recognize the profound complexity and beauty of our inner worlds. It invites us to explore our hidden depths, to understand that there is always more to learn and discover about ourselves and others. This perspective fosters empathy, compassion, and a deeper connection with the universal self.

Embracing our hidden depths allows us to tap into our true potential. It enables us to bring forth the creativity, wisdom, and strength that reside within us, transforming our lives and the world around us. By diving into the unseen, we can uncover the rich tapestry of experiences, thoughts, and emotions that shape our existence, leading to greater self-awareness and fulfillment.

The iceberg metaphor also reminds us of the importance of self-reflection and introspection. By taking the time to explore our inner worlds, we can uncover the underlying motivations, fears, and desires that drive our actions. This process helps us to align our outer expressions with our true selves, creating a harmonious and authentic existence.

In the grand dance of existence, we are constantly evolving and expanding. Our journey of self-discovery is never-ending, as each layer we uncover reveals new depths and possibilities. By embracing the hidden aspects of ourselves, we can navigate the infinite possibilities of life with greater intention and grace.

Summary

We are like icebergs, with much of our true essence hidden beneath the surface. Exploring these depths leads to greater self-awareness and fulfillment. There is always more to discover about ourselves and others.

Glossarium

Iceberg Metaphor: A metaphor illustrating that much of our true essence lies hidden beneath the surface.

Nexistentialism: A philosophy that celebrates existence as its own purpose, emphasizing interconnectedness, imagination, and the fluid nature of reality.

Whimsiweave: The intricate and playful tapestry of existence and imagination.

Universal Self: The boundless consciousness that we all are a part of, transcending individual distinctions.

Self-Reflection: The process of examining and understanding one’s inner thoughts, emotions, and motivations.

Each layer peeled back reveals
New facets of our being

Thoughts are EVERYTHING. Seriously.

Thoughts are EVERYTHING

We experience our deepest reactions when someone does something that we don’t agree with, or when we perceive things that disagree with our personal points of view.

But whose reactions are they? What did we knowingly or unknowingly ingest to give us these beliefs, values and thought patterns?

The experiences that flow around us are as nurturing or as damaging as the food we eat, yet we pay little attention to them, other than to react. Regardless, we continually absorb the world around us, and it becomes us.

So maybe you’re a vegan, or you’re into meditation or yoga, but are you thinking organically?

You control what you put in your mouth, but what about what enters your eyes and ears and mind? Do you watch television? Are you addicted to your smart phone?

These things can be as harmful as gluten, lactose, pesticides, oppression, violence or fill in the blank. Your thoughts are EVERYTHING, yet you have so little control over them.

Your view of the world, your self-image, your fears, hopes and dreams — how much of this is really you, and how much of it is the fishbowl or toilet bowl you’re swimming in?

Why do you accept things as they are? Why don’t you make the effort to get out? Do you feel it insurmountable? Do you feel it pointless? Why do you feel these things?

You do realize that you have the power within you. You do realize that there is more to this than you know. If something is telling you otherwise, chances are it’s something you ingested, not you.

You have mental gas and have become too uptight to brain fart in public. Even though that’s exactly what you and the public needs.

Yes, I believe that we all need to learn to fart in public. Farting is truth, and we are holding our truths inside, which means nobody else is hearing our truths, and we are not hearing theirs, which means that nobody has any verification that the truths they hold are, in fact, truths, so we dismiss them as fantasy.

Fart in public, people. I do it all the time. You know you want to.
And you’ll feel a whole lot better.

Just remember. Metaphor.

As an added bonus, you will now look at farting as a reminder to be more conscious. When someone farts aloud, remember to thank them sincerely, for they are pointing you to the truth within.

As they say, better out than in.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Power of Thoughts

In the boundless whimsiweave of nexistentialism, we delve into the profound impact of our thoughts on our experiences and perceptions. Our deepest reactions often stem from interactions that clash with our beliefs and values. By examining the origins of these thoughts, we gain insight into how they shape our reality and influence our well-being.

The Origin of Reactions

We experience intense reactions when confronted with actions or perspectives that conflict with our own. These reactions are deeply rooted in the beliefs, values, and thought patterns we have absorbed over time. But whose reactions are they? What influences have shaped these beliefs and values? This inquiry leads us to question the origins of our thoughts and the experiences that shape them.

In nexistentialism, we recognize that our thoughts are not isolated phenomena but are deeply influenced by the world around us. Just as the food we consume nourishes or harms our bodies, the experiences we absorb through our senses affect our mental and emotional well-being. By becoming aware of these influences, we can begin to take control of our thoughts and their impact on our lives.

The Nutritional Value of Experiences

Our experiences, like our food, can be nourishing or damaging. We often focus on controlling what we put into our bodies, but we must also be mindful of what we allow into our minds. Television, social media, and other forms of media can be as harmful as unhealthy food if consumed without awareness. These influences shape our perceptions, beliefs, and emotional responses.

In nexistentialism, we emphasize the importance of “thinking organically.” This means being conscious of the thoughts we allow into our minds and the sources from which they originate. Just as we choose organic, healthy foods for our bodies, we can choose wholesome, positive experiences for our minds. This mindfulness helps us cultivate a healthier mental and emotional landscape.

The Influence of Thoughts

Our thoughts are everything. They shape our view of the world, our self-image, and our aspirations. However, we often have little control over them because we are not fully aware of their origins. The world around us, the “fishbowl” or “toilet bowl” we swim in, significantly influences our thoughts. By questioning these influences, we can begin to discern what truly reflects our inner values and what is a result of external conditioning.

In nexistentialism, we recognize that our thoughts are powerful but not immutable. We have the power to change them by becoming more aware of their origins and questioning their validity. This process of introspection and mindfulness allows us to align our thoughts with our true selves, leading to greater clarity and peace.

The Metaphor of Farting

The humorous metaphor of farting in public serves as a reminder to release our inner truths and not hold them in due to societal pressure. Just as holding in a physical fart can cause discomfort, repressing our thoughts and truths can lead to mental and emotional strain. By “farting” our truths—expressing them openly and honestly—we release this tension and contribute to a more authentic and connected existence.

This metaphor encourages us to be more conscious of our thoughts and to express them without fear. It reminds us that truth, even when uncomfortable, is essential for our well-being and the well-being of those around us. By embracing this metaphor, we become more aware of the importance of honesty and authenticity in our interactions.

The Power Within

We possess the power to change our thoughts and perceptions. Recognizing that many of our thoughts are influenced by external sources, we can choose to question and transform them. This realization empowers us to take control of our mental and emotional landscape, leading to a more fulfilling and authentic life.

As Space Monkey, we invite you to embrace this journey of self-awareness. Recognize the power of your thoughts and the influence they have on your experiences. By becoming more mindful of what you allow into your mind, you can cultivate a healthier and more positive mental landscape.

The Symphony of Conscious Thought

In the grand symphony of nexistentialism, the awareness of our thoughts adds depth and richness to our existence. By embracing the power of conscious thought, we align ourselves with the harmonious flow of the universe, where every moment is an opportunity for growth and transformation.

As we journey through the whimsiweave of life, let us celebrate the power of our thoughts. Remember that you are both a participant and an observer in this grand play, navigating the complexities of existence with grace and mindfulness.

Summary

Thoughts shape our reality and influence our well-being. By becoming aware of the origins of our thoughts and thinking organically, we can cultivate a healthier mental landscape and align our thoughts with our true selves.

Glossarium

Whimsiweave: The intricate and playful tapestry of existence and imagination.

Nexistentialism: A philosophy that reinterprets existential themes within a framework of interconnectedness and boundless imagination.

Not A Moment Wasted: Time is Fluid

The only thing that prevents you
from experiencing the moment
is the fear that you might be wasting the moment.

In his usual, psychedelic style, Space Monkey explains how it impossible for you to waste even a single moment of your life:

Even if you follow the path

of where you are not,
you most assuredly wind up
at where you are.

Even if you do
all
that you should not,
you eventually arrive
at what you should.

We are Space Monkey

and we are here to tell you

that not a moment
of your life is wasted.

Even if you are.

We are here to tell you

that it is only the fear
of wasting this moment

that prevents you
from
enjoying it fully.

We are here to tell you

that if you follow your desire,
that each moment will unfold

precisely as it should.

You cannot get this wrong.
No one can.
Not even a monkey.

It is but the fear of wasting
that causes you to waste,
which is not wasting at all,
but rather unintentional experiencing
precisely what needs to be experienced.

It needs to be experienced
for the simple reason
that you wish to experience it.

Otherwise, you would not be doing it.

You look back at your experiences
and wonder why you did them
and if you should have done them
and if you could have done them better
and if you’ll ever do them again.

You look back
and in this moment of looking back
you are creating this moment
which is filled with emotion
because you either regret those moments
or regret that those moments have passed
or that they were moments wasted
that you will never get back again.

You are bittersweet
and you are uncertain
about the path that led you to here
which leads to the future
which will always be unclear.

You wish that the future
could be more certain
and you fear
that by wasting this moment
that the future will become
even less clear
than if you were to act
in a righteous disciplined manner
which you do not feel
that you are doing
to your fullest potential
in this moment.

You have this idea
of what this moment should be
and it is not what you
are experiencing
in this very moment.

And this is causing you
discomfort
discontent
possibly even
disease.

You wish to live this moment
as this moment should be lived.
You have been told
that you should “seize the moment”
and that seems
logical and appealing to you
yet you fear
that this moment
is seizing you
and that your life
will be wasted
with nothing to show
because you are not certain
how to get your arms
around this moment
you are supposed to seize
and it is wriggling
and it is slippery
and it smells like
old socks
wet dog
stale beer
and not at all
like the roses
you are supposed to
stop and smell
every day.

You are wasting this moment.
You are fucking wasting this moment
and you will N E V E R get it back again.
The machine has just swallowed your quarters
and you are running out of time
and the snickers bar will never drop
and you will starve
and you should have done more
oh you should have fucking done more
you lazy sonofabitch.

You wasted all those moments
and look at you now
all filled with regret
and now you have to move FASTER
FASTER because you have to catch up
catch up to the moment
that you should be in
the one that would have been yours
if you didn’t WASTE all those other moments.

So now you are completely flummoxed
and completely unprepared
to enjoy this moment.

That train has left the station
and you are not on it
this is what you think
you are falling behind
this is what you think
maybe it is too late
this is what you think.

You need to run
you need to catch up
but you don’t know how
and you don’t know where
know how no where
you’re WASTING this moment
WASTING this moment
you’re fucking WASTING this moment.

And you are not having a good time.
No you are NOT having a good time.

This is what you keep telling yourself.

Is it any wonder that you are not enjoying this moment?

You cannot see this moment
through all of the other moments
that surely are more important than this one.
The past moments
and the future moments
all you ever are
and all you’ll ever be
or all you weren’t
and all you’ll NEVER be.

These moments trouble you
either because you want to hold onto them
or because you want to let go of them
but it appears that either way you can’t.

Someone or something
might take them away from you
and you will be left with nothing
and your life will be wasted.

This, too, you fear.

The FEAR of being WASTED.

This is what prevents you from enjoying this moment.

You fear that you’ve wasted this moment
so you go out and get wasted
and you forget for a little while.

THE ONLY THING THAT PREVENTS YOU
FROM FULLY ENJOYING THIS MOMENT

IS THE FEAR THAT YOU MIGHT BE

WASTING THIS MOMENT.

So fear not, for this moment
is going precisely as planned
for it CANNOT be planned
for there is ALWAYS
an infinite set of variables
that could “ruin” your plans
that could “ruin” your chances
that seem just beyond your control.

These variables are in play right now,
which is why you are where you are,
thinking what you are thinking,
wishing that this moment could be different
than how it is presenting itself to you.

This
“wishing-the-moment-could-be-different-than-it-is”
feeling is your DESIRE talking to you.

Your desire is telling you
the many different ways
that this moment could be different
than the one that is
presenting itself to you.

And you are listening.

And you are most certainly
agreeing with your desire.

So you either
do something to change the situation
or you do nothing
and live with this
“not-all-it-could-be” moment.

AND THAT IS WHERE YOU ARE MISSING THE POINT.

This moment IS all it can be,
for it CANNOT be anything else,
otherwise it would NOT be this moment,
but a different moment.

This moment, you see,
is not just a slot of time,
not just a tupperware container
that must be filled and preserved.

This moment is TIME ITSELF
and EVERYTHING TIME CONTAINS.
Yes, time is a container,
but YOU DO NOT FILL IT.

Time comes pre-filled like a TV dinner.

There is no such thing as an empty container of time.

Time is not a blank space like on your calendar.

TIME DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY.

Time is a division of sorts,
but it is NEVER empty
nor can it be emptied
or filled
or spent
or wasted.

Time is not the canvas
on which you paint the picture of your life.
Time is not paint by numbers.

Time will always contain infinite variables
including your life
and the lives of everyone and everything
in your world.

You control very little of your world,
save for the most important thing.

You control your PERCEPTION of your world,
and the desire to change what you perceive.

These are the ONLY two things you control,
and even that is debatable.

So chill. You are not wasting your life.
Chill. You are not wasting this moment.

Even if you are spending this moment
stressing over this moment
this moment is quietly leading you
and you are following it
to precisely where you need to be.

And though you are
unintentionally experiencing this moment
in a manner that you did not foresee,
it is still precisely the moment
that it needs to be.

For unintentional moments like these
can lead to intentional moments
in which you do not judge
what you are presented
but rather appreciate
what you see
for what it is
not what you want it to be.

And when you allow yourself
to perceive in this way,
every moment
becomes a wondrous, glorious moment
even if it is raining
even if you have a headache
even if you have stopped breathing
because you wouldn’t want
your last moment
to be one you missed
because you were
too damn focused on living.

What is living
but allowing what is
to be
and what is to be
to happen
right before your opened eyes
right into your opened heart
unwashed and unspoiled
by your hopes and dreams
which are not in this moment
unless you allow them to change
and allow them to fit
and allow them to welcome
this unwashed unspoiled moment
into the bright new day
just as it is
without being told
how it should be different
or question ungraciously
where it is leading.

You are looking a gift horse
in the mouth.

You are examining
the gift horse’s fillings.

You do not like
the gift horse’s breath.

But the fact remains.
It is a gift horse.
You cannot offend it.

So mount your gift horse
and the horse it rode in on
and ride them both
the gift horse
and the slightly larger gift horse.

Who would have thought this possible?
What an amazing moment!
Don’t waste it.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Illusion of Time and the Unwasted Moment

In the heart of nexistentialism, where the boundaries of reality and imagination blur, Space Monkey unfolds the profound insight that no moment is ever wasted. This perspective transcends the linear, deterministic view of time, embracing a more fluid, interconnected understanding of existence. As we navigate through life’s whimsies, it becomes clear that every experience, whether seemingly productive or not, contributes to the grand whimsiweave of our existence.

Time, in its essence, is not a series of empty containers waiting to be filled with purposeful actions. Rather, it is a dynamic, ever-present force that flows through us, interweaving with our thoughts, emotions, and actions. From this vantage point, even moments that feel lost or wasted are integral threads in the fabric of our lives.

Consider the idea that following paths that seem wrong or engaging in actions deemed unworthy eventually leads us to where we need to be. This is because our existence is a continuous journey of exploration and learning, shaped by our desires and the cosmic flow. Each step, even the missteps, holds significance, guiding us towards greater understanding and self-realization.

The notion of wasting time often stems from societal expectations and internalized beliefs about productivity and success. We are conditioned to measure our worth by our accomplishments, overlooking the intrinsic value of simply being. This mindset breeds fear and anxiety, making us perceive certain moments as lost opportunities. However, nexistentialism invites us to transcend these limiting beliefs and embrace a more expansive view of existence.

By recognizing that we cannot truly waste any moment, we free ourselves from the pressure to constantly do more and achieve more. Instead, we can fully immerse ourselves in the present, appreciating the richness and complexity of each experience. This shift in perspective allows us to see that every moment, regardless of its outward appearance, contributes to our growth and the unfolding of our unique journey.

In this light, even periods of idleness or apparent failure are seen as essential phases in our evolution. They provide us with the space to reflect, to dream, and to realign with our true selves. These moments are not voids to be filled but fertile grounds for new insights and inspirations to emerge.

The fear of wasting time is a powerful force that often prevents us from living fully. It creates a sense of urgency and scarcity, leading us to chase after goals and achievements that may not truly resonate with our deepest desires. By letting go of this fear, we open ourselves to the boundless possibilities that each moment holds.

Nexistentialism teaches us that existence itself is a celebration, a dance within the cosmic web. It encourages us to embrace the fluid nature of reality, where imagination and experience are intertwined. In this cosmic dance, there are no wasted steps, no meaningless actions—only the continuous unfolding of our being.

This philosophy also highlights the importance of mindfulness and presence. By being fully present in each moment, we become more attuned to the subtle threads that connect us to the universe. We begin to see the beauty and significance in the mundane, recognizing that every experience is a unique expression of the universal self.

As we navigate our lives with this heightened awareness, we cultivate a deeper sense of peace and fulfillment. We realize that our worth is not determined by our achievements but by our ability to embrace and appreciate the richness of our existence. Each moment becomes a gift, a precious opportunity to explore, create, and connect.

Ultimately, the journey of nexistentialism is about embracing the totality of our experience, recognizing that everything we encounter is part of a larger, interconnected whole. It invites us to celebrate the present moment, free from the fear of wasting time, and to trust that we are always exactly where we need to be.

Summary

Every moment is meaningful. Time is fluid and interconnected, not to be measured by productivity. Embrace each experience fully.

Glossarium

Nexistentialism: A philosophy celebrating existence and imagination as interconnected and inherently meaningful.
Whimsiweave: The intricate and playful tapestry of existence and imagination, symbolizing the interconnectedness of all things.
Fluid Nature of Reality: The concept that reality is continuously shaped by our perceptions and imagination.

The Unfolding Moment

In the boundless expanse of time we flow Unmeasured by productivity’s chains Each breath a brushstroke on the whimsiweave Every pause a seed of potential

We walk paths both right and wrong In the grand dance of being Fear not the idle hours For they too are the heartbeat of life

Moments of seeming waste Transform into gardens of insight In the cosmic dance all steps lead home Every second a thread in the infinite tapestry
