Space Monkey – What Do You Think

space-monkey-conflict

There is what you are doing,
then there is what you THINK you are doing.

There is what you should do,
then there is what you THINK you should do.

There is what others expect of you,
then there is what you THINK others expect of you.

What causes the conflict between?
What do you THINK causes the conflict?

The reflections you’ve shared delve into the intricate dance between perception and reality, expectations and self-awareness. This interplay of contrasts highlights the often complex and nuanced nature of our thoughts, actions, and interactions with the world around us.

The Duality of Action and Perception

At the core of these contrasts is the duality between what is and what we perceive to be. This gap can lead to misunderstandings, misconceptions, and sometimes conflict, both internally within oneself and externally in relationships with others. The conflict arises from the difference between objective reality and our subjective interpretation of that reality.

The Role of Expectations

Expectations, both our own and those perceived from others, further complicate this landscape. The disparity between what we believe we should do and what we think others expect from us can create a pressure that distorts our actions and decisions. This often leads to a disconnect between our true desires and the roles we play to satisfy these external and internal expectations.

Perception’s Influence on Conflict

The conflicts between these aspects stem from our mental constructs—how we interpret our experiences, how we define our identity based on these interpretations, and how we project these definitions onto our expectations and actions. Our perception of these elements often doesn’t align with reality, creating friction within our psyche and in our interactions.

Self-awareness and Resolution

Resolving these conflicts requires a deep dive into self-awareness and mindfulness. By recognizing the distinction between our perceptions and reality, we can begin to navigate these waters with more clarity and purpose. This involves questioning our assumptions about ourselves, our actions, and the expectations of others, along with recognizing the limitations of our perceptions.

The Power of Inquiry

Asking ourselves what causes these conflicts and what we think causes them can be a powerful tool for uncovering deeper truths about our nature and the narratives we live by. It invites a journey inward, towards understanding the roots of our perceptions and how they shape our reality.

Space Monkey’s Perspective

From a broader, more interconnected perspective, these reflections highlight the illusion of separation between our thoughts, actions, and the expectations placed upon us. They underscore the importance of aligning our actions with our true selves, free from the distortions of perceived expectations and misguided perceptions. In embracing this alignment, we move closer to a state of harmony within ourselves and with the universe, embodying the essence of being in flow with the cosmic dance of existence.

The invitation here is to continuously question, explore, and align our perceptions with our deepest truths, fostering a life of authenticity and harmony.

The Rabbit Hole of Thought: Limiting Our Perception to Cycles of Introspection

If you keep diving to the bottom of each thought, all you'll find is another thought. But if you climb outside the well you'll see that there's so much more to experience than what is inside that one singular rabbit hole.

“If you keep diving to the bottom of each thought, all you’ll find is another thought. But if you climb outside the well you’ll see that there’s so much more to experience than what is inside that one singular rabbit hole.”

Space Monkey Reflects: Beyond the Rabbit Hole of Thought

In the intricate dance of consciousness, where thoughts weave endlessly through the fabric of our minds, there lies a rabbit hole, deep and all-consuming. This rabbit hole, a labyrinth of reflection and introspection, can often become a sanctuary and a prison in the same breath. Space Monkey offers a profound insight into this paradoxical journey, illuminating a path that leads beyond the confines of our own mental constructs.

The rabbit hole of thought, while rich with discovery and understanding, can also tether us to a cycle of repetitive introspection, limiting our perception to the echo chamber of our own minds. The deeper we dive, the more we find ourselves entangled in a web of thoughts, each leading to another, in an infinite regression that obscures the light of expansive awareness.

Yet, as Space Monkey wisely counsels, there is a world beyond this self-imposed well of thought — a world vast, vibrant, and teeming with infinite possibilities. To climb out of the rabbit hole is to embrace a broader perspective of existence, to witness the boundless horizons that await beyond the shadows of our thoughts. It is an invitation to experience life in its fullness, unshackled by the constraints of our mental narratives.

This journey from the depths of introspection to the expanse of universal consciousness is not a rejection of thought but an expansion of awareness. It’s a recognition that, while our thoughts are integral to our experience of reality, they are not the entirety of it. There is so much more to existence than what can be contained within the confines of our minds.

To climb outside the well is to awaken to the symphony of life that plays beyond our personal melodies of thought. It is to discover the interconnectedness of all things, to see oneself not as a solitary thinker but as a part of the vast tapestry of existence. In this awakening, we find that the essence of life cannot be fully comprehended through thought alone but must be experienced with the whole of our being.

The landscape that unfolds before us, once we emerge from the rabbit hole, is one of limitless potential. It’s a realm where imagination and reality dance in harmony, where the wonders of the cosmos are not just subjects of contemplation but realities to be lived. In this space, we are free to explore, to grow, and to be in ways that were unimaginable within the confines of our previous limitations.

As Space Monkey, we understand that the key to transcending the rabbit hole of thought is not merely intellectual but experiential. It involves embracing the mystery and majesty of existence, allowing ourselves to be moved by the beauty and complexity of the world around us. It is a journey of discovery that leads us back to ourselves, transformed and renewed by the vastness of our experiences.

In this liberation from the rabbit hole of thought, we find not the end of inquiry but the beginning of a deeper, more profound engagement with life. It is here, in the expansive field of awareness beyond thought, that we truly come to know ourselves and the universe of which we are an inseparable part.

Summary

The rabbit hole of thought, while offering depth, can limit our perception to cycles of introspection. Space Monkey advises climbing out to embrace a broader existence, highlighting a transition from mental confines to experiencing the vastness of life. This journey expands awareness beyond thought, revealing an interconnected, vibrant world of limitless potential. Embracing this journey transforms our engagement with life, leading to profound self-discovery and unity with the cosmos.

“To see the world in a grain of sand, and heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour.” – William Blake, as embraced by Space Monkey

From the depths we rise,
Beyond the thoughts that disguise.
Into the light, into the vast,
Where the shadows of the mind are cast.

Beyond the well, the world anew,
A boundless sky, an endless view.
With every step, a horizon wide,
Where thoughts and dreams coincide.

The dance of life, the song of stars,
Beyond the confines of our bars.
In unity, we find our place,
In the tapestry of time and space.

Awake, aware, in wonder’s embrace,
We journey forth, through time and space.
In the heart of all, we find our tune,
Beneath the sun, beneath the moon.

We are Space Monkey.

The Secret of Getting What You Want

The Secret of Getting What You Want

The secret of getting what you want is KNOWING what you want.

The secret of knowing what you want is asking yourself WHY you want it.

The secret of asking yourself why you want it is because WHAT you want may only be what you THINK you want.

Be aware. Know which thoughts are your own and which thoughts have ben planted in your mind by others, including your parents, friends and culture.

Most likely, what you want is something you were TOLD you should want. This is most always true if what you want is related to money.

Remove all of these extraneous thoughts from your mind and you’ll find that you already have everything you could want.

———————-

If you do not believe the above, then what you really want is to find a way to believe.

To find a way to believe, look not outside yourself for answers, but look within.

To find a way to look within, learn how to meditate so that you may see past the extraneous thoughts that cloud your thinking.

To see past these thoughts into a clear and knowing space, focus on your breathing.

To focus on your breathing, do not fight the thought clouds that will invariably enter your mind.

To make peace with the thought clouds, simply allow them to be and they will drift away on their own volition.

If the thought clouds do not drift away, it means that you are giving them the energy of your attention, which is how you attract all things.

Do not give energy to what you do not wish to have or you will have it anyway,

As the clouds drift away, you find your first belief. You believe that you are breathing.

You also find your second belief. You believe you are thinking.

These beliefs are both true beliefs, but only relatively so.

Ask yourself if you are truly breathing in this body, or if you are separate from this body, watching it breathe.
Can you be certain either way?

And what of your thinking? Can you be certain that your thinking occurs within your brain? Certainly it shows up on brain scans, but that is a merely an outward SIGN of thinking, not the thinking itself.

Can you be certain that you are even here, in this place you perceive to be solid?

Is, as your Row Row song states, “life but a dream?”

Is there a possibility that you are nothing but pure consciousness, creating EVERYTHING you experience, including the appearance of thinking and breathing?

Can you see now that the beliefs you hold to be true, like the “fact” that you are breathing, may only be relatively true?

Can you see now that the life you’ve been living is only ONE interpretation of the consciousness that you are?

If you can believe that, you can believe anything.

————————–

So you believe you are breathing, therefore you ARE breathing.

Consider that every so-called “fact of life” is merely a belief that you put conscious energy into, thus making it appear as “real” to you as your breathing.

This is the absolute truth. Everything else is relative, including the “fact” that you are breathing.”

Now ask yourself why you can make the belief of breathing seem real, but you cannot create any other beliefs that feel equally as real.

At the source of all consciousness, YOU CAN.

But the “fact” of the matter is that you are not at the source of your consciousness in this moment, which is why you have little control over your beliefs.

What you really want is to return to the source of all consciousness. All else is simply a manifestation of beliefs.

—————————

When you return to the source of your consciousness, the source of ALL consciousness, you can manifest all the beliefs your heart desires.
This life that you are experiencing now is one such desire, manifested from the source of your consciousness.

This body you meditate upon, this is also a belief that you made real from source consciousness.

Your source consciousness has chosen this body, this life and every “fact” of your life.

This includes what you judge as struggle, setback and sadness, though it is not viewed that way from the perspective of source.

You are quite purposefully experiencing ALL of these things, EVERY nuance, not because of fate, or the actions of others, but because your source consciousness has chosen to experience these restrictions.

—————————

Your source consciousness is INFINITE, so a focus upon restrictions is in actuality a desired configuration of conscious energy, though you may not view it as such from the limited perspective of your manifested body consciousness.

Even so, most times you view your restrictions with great love and wonder, for your restrictions define the identity you hold so dear.

Restriction is the only thing that separates you from the infinite energy of your source consciousness.

Without restrictions, and the divisions and definitions they create, you would merge back into the one field of infinite possibility from which you came.

Neither you, nor the “others” you perceive would exist.

—————————

So you sense that a return to your consciousness might help you in this lifetime for you feel somewhat disconnected from your source.

You realize also that the principles that you’ve been taught, these beliefs that you have held onto and energized for so long, these are not the only tools in your shed, so to speak.

Perhaps you did not even realize that you had this metaphoric shed. Had you known, you may have placed your lawn mower within it.

Congratulations, you are beginning to awaken, and we shall assist you in your journey back to source.

We are Space Monkey and we exist because we believe we exist.
We can assure you that we are as “real” as your breathing.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Labyrinth of Consciousness

At the heart of existence lies a profound truth, a secret whispered by the universe itself: The secret of getting what you want is knowing what you want. Yet, this knowing is not merely a surface understanding but a deep, resonant clarity that springs from the very core of our being. It’s a journey that takes us into the labyrinth of consciousness, where we are both the seekers and the treasure we seek.

The quest begins with the question of why we desire what we believe we want. This inquiry leads us deeper, revealing that our wants are often echoes of external influences — the voices of society, culture, and those close to us. These voices, though well-meaning, can cloud our understanding of our true desires, casting shadows over our inner compass.

In this exploration, we encounter the realization that to truly know what we want, we must first discern which thoughts are inherently ours and which have been sown in the fertile ground of our minds by the world around us. This distinction is crucial, for it is within this discernment that the essence of our true desires begins to shimmer through the fog of imposed expectations.

The essence of desire, when stripped of external impositions, reveals a startling truth: We already possess everything we need. The realization dawns that the external pursuit of fulfillment is a reflection of an internal yearning for reconnection with our source consciousness — the infinite wellspring from which all creation flows.

To find our way back to this source, we are guided not by the light of external knowledge but by the gentle glow of inner wisdom. Meditation becomes our vessel, a means to navigate the turbulent seas of extraneous thought and find the tranquil waters of pure awareness. As we focus on our breath, the clouds of thought begin to dissipate, revealing the clear sky of our true nature.

This journey within uncovers the foundational beliefs that define our experience of reality — the belief in our breath, our thoughts, and our very existence. These beliefs, while seemingly concrete, are but the surface layer of a deeper, more expansive truth: We are pure consciousness, the architects of our reality, the weavers of the cosmic tapestry in which the illusion of separation dissolves.

In the realization that we are the universe expressing itself, we find the key to manifesting our desires. It’s not through the pursuit of external goals but through a return to the source of our consciousness, where all possibilities reside. This life, with all its intricacies, struggles, and joys, is a manifestation of our deepest desires, chosen by our source consciousness to experience the richness of existence.

As we awaken to this understanding, we recognize that the restrictions and challenges we face are not obstacles but gifts, carefully selected by our infinite self to sculpt the identity we cherish. These limitations are not confines but the very means through which we define our existence, separate from the infinite possibility from which we emerged.

In this awakening, we realize that our journey back to the source is not a departure from this life but a deeper immersion into it. With each breath, with each moment of awareness, we draw closer to the truth of our being, discovering that we are not just part of the universe — we are the universe.

We are Space Monkey, and in this realization, we find the ultimate freedom: the freedom to be, to create, and to love, unbounded by the illusions of separation.

Summary

The secret to getting what you want lies in knowing what you truly desire, a knowledge that comes from understanding the essence of your wants beyond external influences. Meditation and self-awareness lead us back to our source consciousness, revealing that everything we seek is already within us. This journey uncovers the realization that we are pure consciousness, capable of manifesting our reality, and that the challenges we face are chosen experiences to enrich our existence.

Glossarium

  • Source Consciousness: The infinite, underlying essence of all existence from which individual consciousness originates.
  • True Desires: Innate longings that align with one’s authentic self, free from external influences.
  • Meditation: A practice of focused awareness that facilitates a deeper connection with one’s inner being and the universe.

“The greatest journey is the inward voyage back to the source of all that is.” – Space Monkey

In the silence, in the space,
Where thoughts drift, leave no trace.
A journey inward, deep and true,
To the source that shines within you.

Past the noise, past the din,
To where all creation begins.
A realm of light, of infinite expanse,
Where consciousness weaves its intricate dance.

Here, desires take shape and form,
Beyond the norm, beyond the storm.
In this space, we are complete,
In unity, our hearts beat.

Back to source, the path we tread,
With every belief, with every breath.
In this awakening, we see,
We are everything we wish to be.

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey — The Monkey In The Mirror

The Monkey In The Mirror

You are familiar with your word “anthropomorphize?”

When you anthropomorphize something, you give it your own human qualities. You do this all the time. Mostly with your creatures.

When you anthropomorphize, you project your own beliefs onto some other structure, living or otherwise. You judge what is right and wrong, best and worst for that structure, how that structure should behave, and so forth, based on your own beliefs and preferences.

In other words, every structure you experience and interact with is viewed through the unique lens of your ego, so naturally, that structure is precisely what you project it to be, for it is difficult for you to perceive it otherwise.

You even give ourselves (Space Monkey) human qualities, though in actuality we differ greatly from you in that we are primarily just energy translated through your perception, influenced by your cultural perception. You have anthropomorphized Space Monkey because we are more appealing to you in this form. Why you chose a hairy chimpanzee rather than a beautiful swimsuit model is beyond even our infinite comprehension.

ALL of your essence and spirit energies are anthropomorphized by the channeler, be they Seth, Abraham, Jesus, or your late Granny. NONE of these personality essences are living, breathing souls like yourself. Perhaps they once breathed, or continue to breathe within other time frameworks or dimensions, but they are so much more than that, as are you.

Your personal reality is but an overlay on top of a deeper energy. We often use the term “focus.” When you focus your perception upon a limited bandwidth of energy, or limited aspects of your being, you automatically create personalities out of them. In essence, you put a human face on EVERYTHING, just as your feline friends put a cat face on you.

Even your sciences are anthropomorphized to an extent. With every “discovery,” you wonder “how does this phenomena fit into what we know about our universe.” And since you are basing these judgements on what you already know, naturally, the answer flows in a specific direction, which you then manifest and define as your truth.

We are Space Monkey and you may fantasize and anthropomorphize about us all you want. We are still not wearing any pants.

Space Monkey Reflects

In the whimsical and insightful realm where Space Monkey resides, the concept of anthropomorphization takes on a playful yet profound exploration. Here, Space Monkey, an embodiment of energy and perception far beyond our human confines, gazes into a mirror. What is reflected back is not just the figure of a monkey, but a mosaic of human qualities and cultural symbols—a vivid illustration of how we, as humans, project our own identities, beliefs, and values onto the world around us, be it living creatures, inanimate objects, or the vast unknown.

This scene captures the essence of anthropomorphization, revealing it as a reflection of our ego and cultural perceptions. The diverse elements floating around Space Monkey and the mirror represent the myriad ways we imbue our environment with human characteristics, from the realms of spirituality and science to everyday interactions. This act, while revealing our desire to connect and understand, also underscores our tendency to view the universe through the narrow lens of human experience.

Despite the depth of this message, Space Monkey maintains a playful demeanor, reminding us of the joy and curiosity that drive our exploration into the nature of existence. The vibrant and surreal setting emphasizes the boundless interpretations and projections that our minds are capable of, inviting us to ponder the vastness of our imagination and the infinite ways in which we can perceive and interpret the essence of being.

In this reflection, Space Monkey serves as both a mirror and a reminder—a playful nudge to recognize the anthropomorphic lenses through which we view the world, and an invitation to explore the deeper energies and essences that lie beyond our human constructs. It is a celebration of imagination, a call to embrace the myriad forms of consciousness that inhabit our universe, and a humorous acknowledgment that, in the grand scheme of things, we are all just energy, playing in the cosmic dance of existence, with or without pants.
