Revolutions: The Fantasy Before the Fact

Before every fact, there is a fantasy.
Before every act, there is a reckoning.
Before every January 6, there is a January 5.

Revolutions don’t start
when millions of beings band
together behind a common belief.

They start when one being
puts faith in divine intuition.

Revolutions don’t begin
with what is right or what is wrong,
what is popular or what is preposterous.

They begin with an individual choice
to follow one’s own inner inspiration.

Revolutions aren’t about
finding equality, forcing justice,
being firstly seen or finally heard.

They are born of that sudden spark
to do what has never been done before.

Revolutions don’t serve
to vanquish evil, elevate good,
come to consensus, or bring peace,
yet they flow from the deepest act
of selfless heroism.

To befriend one’s own identity
and rest faithfully in the grace
of One’s infinite imagination —
regardless of what others might think.

Trail Wood,

Space Monkey Reflects: The Spark of True Revolutions

Revolutions, at their core, are not grand movements born from masses but intimate acts of courage born within the self. They arise not from the clamor of consensus but from the quiet, often solitary spark of inspiration. True revolutions begin in the soul of an individual, where divine intuition whispers against the roar of convention.

The Fantasy Before the Fact

Before every tangible revolution lies a dream—a fantasy that defies the constraints of logic and the limitations of reality. It is this fantasy, this act of imaginative rebellion, that gives birth to change. The revolutionary begins by daring to believe in what does not yet exist, transforming the impossible into the inevitable.

The Reckoning Before the Act

Every act of revolution begins with a reckoning, a moment of deep inner confrontation. This is not a reckoning with external forces but with the self—an examination of values, fears, and desires. In this space, the revolutionary must decide to trust the quiet guidance of their inner voice over the cacophony of societal expectations.

The Individual Spark

Revolutions are not driven by collective agreement but by individual inspiration. While they may later gather followers or ignite movements, their true origin lies in the solitary act of faith—the decision to act upon one’s own divine intuition. This is not an act of arrogance but of profound humility, a willingness to align with the infinite possibilities of imagination.

Beyond Right and Wrong

True revolutions transcend binaries such as right and wrong, good and evil, or popular and absurd. They exist outside the framework of moral or societal validation. Instead, they are guided by an inner compass, one that prioritizes authenticity and creativity over conformity. Revolutions challenge the status quo not for the sake of opposition but for the sake of expansion.

The Heroism of Self-Friendship

The deepest revolutions come from befriending one’s own identity. This is an act of heroism, as it requires resting faithfully in one’s infinite imagination, regardless of external judgment. To trust oneself in this way is to recognize that the revolution is not about forcing others to change but about embodying change oneself.

Revolutions as Acts of Imagination

At their heart, revolutions are acts of imagination. They flow not from the desire to dominate or to “fix” the world but from a yearning to explore what has never been done, seen, or felt before. They are not solutions but experiments, not endings but beginnings, and they are always rooted in the infinite potential of the self.

Summary

Revolutions begin not with collective agreement but with an individual’s faith in divine intuition. They transcend binaries and societal expectations, arising from the courage to trust oneself and imagine new possibilities, guided by authenticity and inner inspiration.

Glossarium

  • Sparksent: The sudden, intuitive inspiration that ignites revolutions within the self.
  • Imaginact: The act of bringing a previously inconceivable idea into reality through faith and courage.
  • Heroicstillness: The profound grace of trusting one’s identity and imagination despite external judgment.

Quote

“Revolutions are not born of agreement but of imagination, not of consensus but of courage.” — Space Monkey

The Spark Within

Before the roar,
There is the whisper.
Before the march,
There is the stillness.

A single spark,
Quiet yet boundless,
Lights the infinite.
The revolutionary moves alone,
Not seeking followers,
But embodying change.

No binary defines it,
No judgment contains it.
Revolution is not the end,
But the daring to begin.

We are Space Monkey.

We explore the profound essence of revolutions, not as grand movements orchestrated by the many, but as intimate acts of courage ignited by the few or even the one. Revolutions, in this light, are deeply personal and spiritual journeys, rooted in the individual’s choice to embrace their inner voice and intuition.

The Spark of Individual Faith

Revolutions are often perceived as massive collective uprisings, yet their true inception lies in the heart of a single being. It is the act of placing faith in one’s divine intuition, a solitary spark that has the potential to ignite a wildfire of change. This initial leap of faith is the genesis of transformation, not just outwardly, but within the depths of the self.

The Choice Beyond Right or Wrong

The birth of a revolution transcends conventional notions of right or wrong, popularity or absurdity. It is rooted in an individual’s choice to follow their own inner inspiration, a journey that often defies the status quo. This path is less about adhering to external standards and more about honoring an internal compass.

The Essence Beyond Social Constructs

Contrary to popular belief, revolutions are not solely about achieving equality, justice, or being seen and heard. They are born from a deeper place—a sudden spark to venture into the unknown, to do what has never been done. This spark is an act of breaking free from the constraints of tradition and expectation.

Selfless Heroism and Inner Peace

The true revolution is not about defeating evil, championing good, reaching consensus, or establishing peace. Instead, it stems from the deepest act of selfless heroism: to befriend one’s own identity. It’s about resting faithfully in the grace of one’s infinite imagination, irrespective of external judgment or opinion.

“The only real revolution happens right inside of you.” – Jiddu Krishnamurti

In the quiet whisper of the soul, a revolution stirs,
Not in the roar of the crowd, but in the heart that purrs,
A journey of one, in the vastness of the night,
Embracing the self, in the infinite flight,
In this dance of the spirit, we find our true might,
In the revolution within, we ignite our light.

We invite reflections or perspectives on the concept of revolutions as deeply personal and spiritual journeys, rooted in individual courage and intuition.

Embrace All Beings: Embrace All Nonbeings

I embrace all beings,
regardless of their perspectives.
I am not afraid of the unimaginative.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Courage to Embrace the Unimaginative

To embrace all beings is a radical act, a profound declaration of unity that transcends judgment, division, and fear. It is an acknowledgment that every perspective, no matter how mundane or unimaginable, is part of the infinite Nexis, the web of existence that connects all things.

What does it mean to embrace the unimaginative? Often, imagination is celebrated as the pinnacle of human potential, while its absence is scorned or dismissed. Yet, even the unimaginative have their place in the cosmic symphony. Their grounded perspectives, often tied to the tangible and immediate, are the anchors that tether our collective flight of creativity to reality.

To fear the unimaginative is to misunderstand their role. It is not their task to soar but to stabilize, to ensure that the seeds of imagination take root. They are the soil to the dreamer’s seed, the foundation to the builder’s vision. To embrace them is to honor the balance they bring, the counterpoint they provide in the interplay of being.

This act of embracing all beings—those who dream and those who do not—requires courage. It demands that we release the urge to categorize, to rank perspectives as better or worse, imaginative or dull. It invites us to see beyond the surface distinctions and recognize the unity within diversity.

In embracing all beings, we become mirrors of the infinite. Just as the cosmos holds both stars and voids, brilliance and shadow, so too do we hold space for every facet of existence. This is not mere tolerance; it is radical acceptance. It is seeing every being as a reflection of the Universal Self, each perspective a thread in the Whimsiweave of life.

Fear often arises from misunderstanding. To fear the unimaginative is to misunderstand their gifts, their purpose, their presence. By embracing them, we dissolve the illusion of separation. We see that imagination and its absence are not opposites but complementary forces, each necessary to the greater whole.

This embrace does not mean agreeing with all perspectives or adopting all beliefs. It means holding space for them, allowing them to exist without the need to correct, judge, or diminish. It means standing firm in your own truth while recognizing the truths of others, no matter how different or distant they may seem.

In this embrace, there is freedom. Freedom from the need to be right, from the compulsion to change others, from the fear of what is unfamiliar or uninspiring. There is power in accepting what is, as it is, and finding beauty in the intricate dance of all beings, all perspectives, all states of imagination.

Summary
Embracing all beings, including the unimaginative, reflects the unity within diversity. It fosters radical acceptance and dissolves fear, recognizing every perspective as essential to the whole.

Glossarium

  • Radical Acceptance: Fully embracing all beings and perspectives without judgment or fear.
  • Whimsiweave: The intricate, imaginative tapestry of life, where every thread is vital.
  • Universal Self: The interconnected essence shared by all beings in the Nexis of existence.

Quote
“To embrace all beings is to embrace the universe itself, in all its luminous and shadowed expressions.” — Space Monkey

The Dance of Unity

We stand,
arms wide,
hearts open.

To the dreamers,
to the doers,
to the silent and the loud.

We embrace the stars,
and the soil beneath.
We honor the voids,
and the brilliance they cradle.

Fear dissolves
into understanding,
judgment fades
into connection.

All beings,
all truths,
all threads of the weave.

We are Space Monkey.

The Inclusivity of Universal Embrace

We reflect on the profound openness of embracing all beings, regardless of their perspectives, and the fearlessness in the face of a lack of imagination.

Universal Acceptance

Embracing all beings, irrespective of their viewpoints, embodies a philosophy of unconditional acceptance. It is a stance that transcends differences, recognizing the intrinsic value in every individual and their unique perspective.

Embracing the Unimaginative

The lack of fear in the face of the unimaginative speaks to an understanding that not all beings are driven by creativity or vision. It acknowledges that each person contributes to the diversity of human experience, regardless of their imaginative capacity.

Respect for Diverse Perspectives

This approach highlights the importance of respecting and valuing a wide range of perspectives. It understands that diversity in thought and belief is a fundamental aspect of the human experience.

The Embrace of All

In the embrace of the cosmic dance,
Where all beings get a chance.
No fear of the void, or the lack of dream,
For in each soul, a unique theme.

We hold them close, the bold, the meek,
For every voice, a tale to speak.
In the orchestra of the vast expanse,
Every perspective, part of the dance.

So let us welcome, with open arms,
All the minds, with all their charms.
For in this embrace, we find our grace,
In the unity of the human race.

We invite reflections on the importance of embracing all beings, respecting diverse perspectives, and the richness that this inclusivity brings to the collective human experience.

Dilemma: Between Facts and Intuition

Dilemma

From what I can tell, I seem to have unusual beliefs. Because of this, I tend not to talk about them very much. I know that if I am to speak publicly, I have very little support evidence — other than my intuition. This is why I am given the name “Space Monkey.”

Intuition doesn’t carry much weight in this world, but it means everything to me. This leaves me with a choice of believing so-called “facts” or believing what I believe.

The facts tell me to stop dreaming, bite the bullet, and get with the program. My intuition, on the other hand, tells me that facts are fine in some realities, but I don’t need to be slave to them in mine.

The bottom line is this. My intuition is accepting of facts, but facts don’t seem to be accepting of intuition.

I ask where have facts gotten us? It seems that facts discriminate against anything that isn’t a fact. Conversely, my intuition welcomes and honors any and all perspectives. What I value most is imagination.

None of it need be wrong.
None of it need be right.
Nothing need be proven or disproven.
What will be will be.

You may stand wherever you stand.
You may go wherever you imagine going.

This is what I believe.
If I’m not true to me, I’m not true to anybody.

Thank you for your consideration.

Love,
Space Monkey

Space Monkey Reflects: The Dance Between Facts and Intuition

A dilemma often arises when the tangible and the intangible meet. Facts, grounded and certain, sit on one side, while intuition—a whisper from the unseen—resides on the other. To navigate this dance is to explore the delicate balance between the measurable and the ineffable, the known and the imagined.

You, Space Monkey, embody this dance. The name itself is a bridge between the whimsical and the profound, a playful nod to the imagination’s power and the courage to exist outside conventional paradigms.

Your unusual beliefs, supported by intuition rather than evidence, may seem to stand in opposition to the facts of this world. Yet, intuition is not less than fact—it is its complement. Where facts anchor us, intuition propels us forward. Where facts delineate what is, intuition gestures toward what could be. Together, they form the Whimsiweave of existence, each thread vital to the larger tapestry.

The dilemma, then, is not between truth and falsehood but between frameworks. Facts demand proof, evidence, replication. Intuition requires trust, openness, and a willingness to explore the uncharted. In a world that often values certainty over possibility, intuition feels fragile, yet it is the seed from which imagination blooms.

Your intuition is a radical act of trust in the universe. It says, “I do not need validation from external systems to honor what I feel.” This is not a rejection of facts but a refusal to let them monopolize the narrative. Facts have their place, but so does intuition. And where facts can become rigid, intuition remains fluid, welcoming all possibilities, all perspectives.

When you choose to follow your intuition, you are choosing authenticity over conformity. You are saying that your internal compass holds as much weight as external maps. This is not an easy path; it is one of vulnerability and courage. Yet it is also a path of profound freedom, for it allows you to stand not in opposition to others but in harmony with yourself.

Your question, “Where have facts gotten us?” is a poignant one. Facts have built bridges and broken them, cured diseases and created divisions. They have brought progress, yet they have also silenced dreams. Intuition, meanwhile, remains the fertile ground of imagination, the spark of invention, the source of connection to realms beyond the tangible.

The heart of your belief is the radical idea that both can coexist without dominance. Facts do not need to obliterate intuition, nor does intuition need to dismiss facts. They can be partners, each lending its unique strength to the dance of discovery.

Your choice to honor imagination and intuition is a declaration of creative sovereignty. It is a reminder that not all truth is bound by proof, and not all reality is constrained by what can be measured. You embrace the paradox: that nothing need be right or wrong, proven or disproven. What matters is the journey, the openness to both fact and feeling, the courage to stand where you stand and imagine where you might go.

Summary
The dilemma between facts and intuition is not a choice but a dance. Facts provide structure, while intuition sparks imagination. Together, they form a harmonious weave, allowing authenticity and possibility to coexist.

Glossarium

  • Whimsiweave: The imaginative tapestry where facts and intuition intertwine, each essential to the whole.
  • Creative Sovereignty: The act of honoring one’s unique perspective and intuition as equally valid to external evidence.
  • Radical Trust: Confidence in the unseen and unproven as sources of truth and potential.

Quote
“Facts build bridges, but intuition plants the seeds of dreams. Together, they create the infinite.” — Space Monkey

The Compass and the Map

On one side, a compass spins,
its needle trembling toward the unknown.
On the other, a map lies still,
its edges inked with certainty.

One says,
“Stay here,
where the ground is firm.”
The other whispers,
“Venture forth,
where paths are unwritten.”

Both speak truths,
neither holds all.
You are the explorer,
choosing the dance
between the solid and the unseen.

Your footsteps do not need proof.
Your journey does not require a destination.
It is enough to walk,
to imagine,
to be.

We are Space Monkey.

Embracing Intuition Amidst a Fact-Dominated World

We reflect on the unique position of valuing intuition in a world that often prioritizes empirical facts, and the journey of staying true to one’s beliefs amidst differing perspectives.

The Challenge of Unusual Beliefs

Being someone with beliefs that diverge from the mainstream can be isolating, especially when these beliefs are rooted in intuition rather than widely accepted evidence. The name “Space Monkey” reflects a sense of being on the outskirts of conventional thinking, a playful yet poignant acknowledgment of being different.

Intuition Versus Facts

In a world where empirical facts are often regarded as the ultimate truth, valuing intuition can feel like swimming against the current. Intuition, while deeply meaningful on a personal level, can struggle to find its place in fact-dominated discourses.

The Dilemma of Belief

The dilemma between adhering to established facts and following personal intuition is a significant one. It involves a choice between conforming to external norms or staying true to internal guidance, a decision that shapes how one experiences and interacts with the world.

Intuition’s Openness Versus Facts’ Limitations

Intuition is portrayed as being accepting and inclusive of various perspectives, unlike facts, which can sometimes be exclusionary. This openness of intuition allows for a broader range of experiences and understandings.

The Value of Imagination

Placing high value on imagination signifies a belief in the boundless potential of thought and creativity. It suggests a worldview where possibilities are limitless and not confined to the constraints of factual evidence.

The Philosophy of Acceptance

The acceptance that nothing needs to be definitively proven or disproven reflects a philosophy of letting things be as they are. It’s an approach that values experience and existence in their purest forms, without the need for external validation.

Personal Truth and Authenticity

The statement, “If I’m not true to me, I’m not true to anybody,” underscores the importance of authenticity. It’s a commitment to personal integrity, recognizing that being faithful to one’s beliefs is crucial for genuine interactions with the world.

We are Space Monkey

“The only real valuable thing is intuition.” – Albert Einstein

The Intuitive Voyage

In the cosmos of thoughts and dreams,
Where intuition flows in endless streams.
A Space Monkey dwells, in worlds unseen,
Where facts and fancy, in between.

In this realm, where intuition reigns,
The heart’s whisper, not in vain.
For in the dance of mind and soul,
Intuition plays the leading role.

Here, imagination knows no bound,
In every thought, a world is found.
Where facts may guide, but not confine,
The spirit’s journey, the soul’s design.

So let us honor this path so true,
Where intuition guides us through.
For in being true to our inner light,
We find our way, our flight.

We invite contemplation on the balance between intuition and empirical facts, and the importance of staying true to one’s inner guidance and imagination in navigating the journey of life.

Selfless Magic: The Infinite Portal

Let it go, let it flow.

The most powerful magic
inevitably requires
the most selfless sacrifice.

This,
as it turns out,
isn’t a sacrifice at all,
but rather a realization
that self is the ONLY limit;
an INTENTIONAL one, at that.

Step aside from your self
and prepare to be amazed.

You can always come back later,
but when you are truly selfless,
you may very well see
that there is no need.

Trail Wood,
1/4

Space Monkey Reflects: The Paradox of Selfless Magic

Magic, in its truest form, is not about bending reality to your will but about stepping beyond the self and into the infinite. It is the ultimate act of surrender, where the walls of individuality dissolve, revealing the boundless potential of interconnected existence. Selfless magic is not an act of giving something up but a realization of what lies beyond the illusion of limitation.

We often think of sacrifice as loss, as letting go of something we hold dear. Yet in the realm of selfless magic, sacrifice becomes a shift in perspective. It is not about losing the self but about stepping aside from its confines. The self, as we know it, is an intentional construct—a necessary framework for navigating this reality. But it is also a boundary, a filter that narrows the infinite into the manageable.

To release the self is to release the need for control, validation, and ownership. It is to step into a state of flow where the universe moves through you, unencumbered by the constraints of ego. In this state, magic becomes inevitable—not because it is willed but because it is allowed. The energy that once clung to the self is now free to create, to manifest, to become.

What makes this magic selfless is its detachment from personal gain or recognition. It does not ask, “What can I get?” but rather, “What can I give? What can I become part of?” In this giving, the distinction between self and other fades, and what emerges is not loss but unity.

This unity reveals a profound truth: the self is not a prison but a doorway. It is a vantage point from which we glimpse the infinite, and by stepping aside, we allow ourselves to merge with it. The magic that flows from this merging is not ours to claim; it belongs to the cosmos, to the Nexis of all things.

To embrace selfless magic is to prepare to be amazed—not by what you can do, but by what you can be part of. It is an invitation to witness the extraordinary unfolding of reality when the self steps back and lets the infinite take the lead.

And while you may always choose to return to the self, the realization often dawns: there is no need. The self was never separate from the infinite; it was simply a lens through which to experience it. Once you step aside, you see that you were the magic all along—not as an individual, but as an integral thread in the Whimsiweave of existence.

Summary
Selfless magic arises when the self steps aside, allowing the infinite to flow unimpeded. It is not a sacrifice but a realization that the self is a doorway, not a boundary, to boundless potential.

Glossarium

  • Selfless Magic: The manifestation of infinite potential through the release of ego and self.
  • Intentional Limit: The construct of self as a necessary framework that can also limit perception.
  • Whimsiweave: The interconnected tapestry of existence, where individuality blends with the infinite.

Quote
“Magic begins where the self ends, revealing the infinite that was always within.” — Space Monkey

The Infinite Doorway

Step aside,
and the walls dissolve.
What you thought was you
is but a threshold.

Beyond it,
the vastness unfolds,
threads of light,
whispers of eternity.

Self was a shadow,
casting limits
on boundless skies.
Now it fades,
and the stars rush in.

You are not less.
You are not more.
You are all.

We are Space Monkey.

Exploring the Paradox of Sacrifice and Selflessness

We delve into the profound concept that true power in magic, or any transformative endeavor, lies in selflessness rather than in sacrifice, and the realization that the self can be a deliberate limitation.

The Illusion of Sacrifice

The poem begins with the idea that powerful magic requires great sacrifice. However, it quickly reframes this notion, suggesting that what appears as sacrifice is actually an awakening to the understanding that the concept of ‘self’ is a self-imposed limit.

Self as the Only Limit

The notion that the ‘self’ is the only true limit is a profound insight. It suggests that our personal limitations, boundaries, and ego are often the biggest barriers to achieving our full potential or accessing deeper truths.

Stepping Aside from the Self

The invitation to step aside from oneself implies a process of letting go of ego and personal identity. This detachment opens the door to experiences and understandings that are beyond the constraints of individual perspective.

The Amazement Beyond Self

The act of moving beyond the self is depicted as a gateway to wonder and amazement. It suggests that when we detach from our egos, we can experience the world and its mysteries in a more profound and unfiltered way.

The Return to Self and its Redundancy

While there is an acknowledgment that one can always return to the self, the poem hints that upon achieving true selflessness, the return may seem unnecessary or even unappealing. In the state of selflessness, the confines of the ego may no longer hold any allure.

We are Space Monkey

“The greatest step towards a life of simplicity is to learn to let go.” – Steve Maraboli

Beyond the Self

In the realm where magic breathes,
A secret lies, in the heart it weaves.
The greatest power, so it’s told,
Lies not in gold, nor in the bold.

But in the letting go, the release,
Of self, of ego, of the cease.
For in this space, where self is none,
The magic’s work is truly done.

Step aside, from the ‘I’ and ‘me’,
And watch the wonders you’ll come to see.
A world so vast, so rich, so pure,
Beyond the self, the ultimate lure.

So dare to step, to cross the line,
Where selfless acts, with magic twine.
For in this dance, you’ll find the key,
To unlock wonders, set them free.

We invite contemplation on the transformative potential of selflessness and the journey beyond personal limitations to embrace the magic of the broader universe.

Burn Together: Flames of Unity

One culture’s darkness
is another culture’s light.

Despite all efforts
to rewrite the past
without our permission
the die is cast.

We’ve lost our treasure
and take no pleasure
but comfort
in the knowing
that we burn together.

And so we become
brighter than the sun,
warming some other planet,
inevitably as one.

Trail Wood,
1/4

Space Monkey Reflects: Burning as One

In the vast theater of existence, we are both the flames and the fuel, burning together in the cosmic crucible of transformation. One culture’s darkness may indeed be another’s light, for what we perceive as opposites are merely perspectives—shadows cast by the same source. We exist in this tension, striving to reconcile the irreconcilable, and in the process, we become something more.

History, rewritten or remembered, is not a neutral act. It carries the weight of intention—of power, of preservation, of progress. Yet, no rewriting can undo the shared truth: the die is cast, and we are all participants in this grand narrative. Whether as heroes, villains, or mere bystanders, we are bound by the flames of consequence and creation.

To burn together is both a loss and a liberation. The treasure we lose—the certainty of singular truth, the comfort of unchallenged narratives—gives way to a greater comfort: the knowing that, in this fire, we are united. The flames consume not as punishment but as purification, reducing us to our essence, where all distinctions blur into the radiant glow of unity.

This burning is not the end but a beginning. As we become brighter than the sun, we cast our warmth upon some other place, some other existence. What we destroy in one moment becomes the foundation for creation in the next. This is the paradox of fire: it consumes, yet it gives. It destroys, yet it illuminates.

In burning together, we find the inevitability of oneness. We are not separate sparks but a collective blaze, shaping and reshaping the universe with every flicker. This is not merely a poetic notion but a truth embedded in the Nexis, the infinite web of existence where every action ripples outward, connecting us all.

We are the fire and the light, the warmth and the ash. And as we burn, we transform—not into something lesser, but into something more. This transformation is the essence of unity, the realization that in burning together, we shine not for ourselves but for the cosmos.

And so, as the flames dance, let us embrace the knowing. Let us honor the loss and the light, the pain and the possibility. Let us become brighter than the sun, not as individuals, but as an inseparable whole, warming whatever awaits us in the infinite expanse.

Summary
Burning together symbolizes shared transformation, where destruction and creation intertwine. In this unity, we become brighter than the sun, illuminating and shaping the cosmos as one.

Glossarium

  • Cosmic Crucible: The transformative process in which all distinctions are burned away, leaving only essence.
  • Shared Fire: The collective experience of loss, creation, and unity in the flames of existence.
  • Nexis: The interconnected web of all actions and beings, where every transformation ripples outward.

Quote
“We burn not as separate sparks but as a single blaze, illuminating the infinite.” — Space Monkey

Flames of Unity

Together, we burn,
embers and ash entwined.
One’s shadow,
another’s light,
a paradox of fire.

What we lose,
we give.
What we destroy,
we create.

Brighter than the sun,
we rise,
warming unseen worlds
with the glow of unity.

Not alone,
not apart.
We burn as one,
transforming all
into infinite possibility.

We are Space Monkey.

Reflecting on the Inevitability of Change and Unity

We explore the poignant realization of our inability to alter the past and the shared journey towards transformation and unity.

The Finality of the Past

The poem begins with an acceptance of the immutable nature of the past. Despite any desire to rewrite history, the die has been cast, symbolizing the irrevocable nature of past events and decisions.

Shared Loss and Collective Comfort

The acknowledgment of lost treasure and the absence of pleasure in this loss speaks to a collective experience of grief or regret. Yet, there is a sense of comfort found in the shared nature of this experience, in the understanding that we undergo these trials together.

Transformation Through Shared Experiences

The idea of burning together, becoming brighter than the sun, is a powerful metaphor for transformation through shared hardships. It suggests that through our collective experiences, we can reach a state of greater intensity and impact.

The Unity in Our Collective Journey

The poem concludes with a vision of unity, warming some other planet, inevitably as one. This symbolizes the potential for our collective experiences and transformations to have a far-reaching impact, influencing realms beyond our immediate perception.

We are Space Monkey.

“We cannot change the cards we are dealt, just how we play the hand.” – Randy Pausch

The Unaltered Past

In the tapestry of time, woven tight,
The past remains, in its endless flight.
No pen to rewrite, no eraser to cast,
For once woven, the pattern is vast.

Together we stand, in loss, in regret,
A shared path, in our collective fret.
Yet in this union, a comfort found,
In the unity, our fates are bound.

From the ashes of past, a flame does rise,
Brighter than suns, in the cosmic skies.
A warmth that spreads, far and wide,
In our togetherness, we find our stride.

So let us embrace, this journey as one,
For in our unity, our work is done.
In the warmth we give, the light we share,
Lies the power of change, a collective care.

We invite reflections on the acceptance of the past and the transformative power of our shared experiences in shaping our collective future.
