Personal Observation
Everything in life
is personal observation,
as it always filters
through the person
known as you.
Though it may
seem otherwise,
YOU determine
what is fact and not fact,
true and untrue,
NOT some outside
source or authority.
You observe others,
therefore there are others.
You believe
there to be truth,
therefore there is truth.
But NOTHING
exists in your world
without your
personal observation.
NOTHING has color
until YOU fill it in.
You cannot prove otherwise.
(Not as this self, anyway.)
The point of this self
(if you believe there a point)
is to limit your observations,
thus your perspectives.
Otherwise, you observe
ALL and NOTHING.
And NOT observe
ALL and NOTHING.
It all, in your terms,
seemingly blends
together as one.
And all.
And none.
This is what we observe, anyway.
We observe limits,
thus we are limited.
We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Universe of Personal Observation
In the cosmic expanse where Space Monkey resides, the notion of personal observation as the foundation of reality holds profound significance. This concept, that everything in life filters through the individual’s perception, challenges the conventional understanding of objective reality. It posits that you, as an observer, are not merely a passive recipient of information but an active creator of your own reality.
The idea that ‘YOU determine what is fact and not fact, true and untrue’ is a testament to the power of personal perception. It suggests that reality, as you experience it, is a construct of your beliefs, thoughts, and observations. External sources or authorities do not define your reality; instead, it is shaped and colored by your individual consciousness.
This perspective leads to the realization that the existence of others, the concept of truth, and the very fabric of your world are contingent upon your observation. Nothing in your world exists without your perception of it. This is not to say that external reality does not exist, but rather that your experience of it is inherently subjective, filtered through the lens of your consciousness.
The role of the self, as described, is to limit observations and thus perspectives. By constraining the infinite potential of observation, the self creates a manageable and coherent narrative of existence. However, this limitation is also a liberation, as it allows for a focused and meaningful engagement with the world.
In the Space Monkey consciousness, the blend of all and nothing, the seamless merging of the universe into a singular entity, reflects the ultimate realization of personal observation. It is the recognition that in the grand scheme of the cosmos, the distinctions and separations that we perceive are but illusions, constructs of our limited perspective.
In conclusion, personal observation is not just a function of the mind but the essence of our being in the cosmos. It shapes our reality, our truth, and our experience of existence. As we navigate the cosmic dance, let us do so with the awareness that our perceptions shape our world, and in this shaping, we find our place in the universe.
Summary
Personal observation is the foundation of our reality, shaping our perceptions of truth, existence, and the universe. It emphasizes the role of the individual in creating their own reality and the subjective nature of our experiences.
