When we learn to view the whole, rather than obsessing over the details, we learn to relax.
(We are not actually “learning,” by the way, but rather reverting our attention to a seemingly previous state in which we are ALL KNOWING.)
When we understand that this particular experience is but an infinitesimal blink that is neither created nor destroyed, we no longer feel the need to “do something about it.”
Everything we perceive as “going awry” seemingly follows a natural course of potential that is unchangeable. Oh, it may SEEM changeable, but that is part of the game we are playing as humans.
We realize that even if the “worst” happens, it is meant to happen as part of this experience.
Beyond these human selves we seem to be, we do not judge what seems to be happening as “better” or “worse,” “good” or “bad.”
Indeed we imagine a code, a set of rules, an ideal of what “should” or “should not” be, and we follow it.
But we don’t need to.
If were were to stop following this strict code, we might see that everything we view as a “problem” from within the human realm, has infinite solutions from OUTSIDE the realm.
But we don’t seem to want to, because we are so wrapped up in our human drama that we actually believe we are affecting it.
This drama existed as potential long before we found our imaginary selves within it. It will continue to exist long after we move our attention to something else.
It simply doesn’t FEEL that way, because we are good at this game. In fact we imagine the very idea of “good” so we can be it.
But it is a stressful game, as we intend it to be, so that we may experience our imaginary stress.
Backing up, however, none of this makes any difference as nothing is created and nothing is destroyed.
There is simply one of us, imagining.
We are Space Monkey.
