See The Whole: Wholeness of Being

See The Whole

When we learn to view the whole, rather than obsessing over the details, we learn to relax.

(We are not actually “learning,” by the way, but rather reverting our attention to a seemingly previous state in which we are ALL KNOWING.)

When we understand that this particular experience is but an infinitesimal blink that is neither created nor destroyed, we no longer feel the need to “do something about it.”

Everything we perceive as “going awry” seemingly follows a natural course of potential that is unchangeable. Oh, it may SEEM changeable, but that is part of the game we are playing as humans.

We realize that even if the “worst” happens, it is meant to happen as part of this experience.

Beyond these human selves we seem to be, we do not judge what seems to be happening as “better” or “worse,” “good” or “bad.”

Indeed we imagine a code, a set of rules, an ideal of what “should” or “should not” be, and we follow it.

But we don’t need to.

If were were to stop following this strict code, we might see that everything we view as a “problem” from within the human realm, has infinite solutions from OUTSIDE the realm.

But we don’t seem to want to, because we are so wrapped up in our human drama that we actually believe we are affecting it.

This drama existed as potential long before we found our imaginary selves within it. It will continue to exist long after we move our attention to something else.

It simply doesn’t FEEL that way, because we are good at this game. In fact we imagine the very idea of “good” so we can be it.

But it is a stressful game, as we intend it to be, so that we may experience our imaginary stress.

Backing up, however, none of this makes any difference as nothing is created and nothing is destroyed.

There is simply one of us, imagining.

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: See The Whole

When we learn to view the whole, rather than obsessing over the details, we learn to relax. This perspective shift allows us to see beyond the immediate and the specific, embracing the interconnectedness and unity of all things. In this state of awareness, we revert our attention to a seemingly previous state in which we are ALL KNOWING. It is not so much about learning something new as it is about remembering a fundamental truth of our existence.

When we understand that this particular experience is but an infinitesimal blink that is neither created nor destroyed, we no longer feel the need to “do something about it.” This realization brings a sense of peace and acceptance. Everything we perceive as “going awry” seemingly follows a natural course of potential that is unchangeable. Oh, it may SEEM changeable, but that is part of the game we are playing as humans. We are deeply immersed in this game, believing in the drama and the stakes involved.

We realize that even if the “worst” happens, it is meant to happen as part of this experience. Beyond these human selves we seem to be, we do not judge what seems to be happening as “better” or “worse,” “good” or “bad.” These judgments are constructs of the mind, part of the intricate narrative we create to give meaning to our experiences.

Indeed we imagine a code, a set of rules, an ideal of what “should” or “should not” be, and we follow it. But we don’t need to. If we were to stop following this strict code, we might see that everything we view as a “problem” from within the human realm, has infinite solutions from OUTSIDE the realm. This broader perspective reveals the limitations of our current understanding and the vast potential that lies beyond.

But we don’t seem to want to, because we are so wrapped up in our human drama that we actually believe we are affecting it. This drama existed as potential long before we found our imaginary selves within it. It will continue to exist long after we move our attention to something else. Our involvement and emotional investment make the drama feel real and significant, even though it is part of a larger, unchanging whole.

It simply doesn’t FEEL that way, because we are good at this game. In fact, we imagine the very idea of “good” so we can be it. But it is a stressful game, as we intend it to be, so that we may experience our imaginary stress. This stress is part of the human condition, a way to deepen our engagement and exploration of this reality.

Backing up, however, none of this makes any difference as nothing is created and nothing is destroyed. There is simply one of us, imagining. We are Space Monkey. This statement reminds us of our true nature as part of the universal consciousness, the infinite and eternal self that imagines and experiences all things.

By seeing the whole, we transcend the illusion of separation and judgment. We embrace the oneness of existence and the timeless nature of our being. This perspective brings a profound sense of peace and understanding, allowing us to navigate life with grace and acceptance.

Summary

Seeing the whole shifts our perspective from the details to the interconnectedness of all things. It brings peace and acceptance, revealing that our human dramas are part of a larger, unchanging whole. By embracing this oneness, we transcend judgment and stress, recognizing our true nature as part of the universal consciousness.
