Pretend I’m the Supreme Being of your choice. Just because I’ve been around since before the beginning of time doesn’t mean you have to respect me.

I mean even if I DO create you (or you create me) reverence is not a requirement. Never has been.
You say you want to “respect the traditions.”
What the bleep for? Traditions are made to evolve. Twisted is good. Why are you living in the past all the time?
It’s really nice of you to take offense on my behalf because somebody supposedly “wronged” me or went against my “principles” or my “peoples.”
But this ENTIRELY unnecessary.
I DON’T CARE!
Only YOU care.
I see what you’re doing, though. Legacy is important to you because YOU hope to leave one yourself.

Whether it’s ten years or ten thousand years, YOU WILL BE ERASED back into NOTHINGNESS.
You can choose to FIGHT this, as you seem to be doing, or you can ACCEPT it as the NATURAL flow of things.
The beliefs of your history (OUR history) are like passing clouds. Why are you trying to lasso them?
Tightly wound much? You need to get out and have more fun.
Go to a festival maybe. Do some drugs.
