The Thought of You: Mastering the Self

The Thought of You

I will not let
the thought of you
harm me.

Only I can harm me.

Not any drink.
Not any drug.
Not any desire.

These things
have no power over me.

There is only me,
my judgement,
my guilt,
sadness and anger.

What happens
is what I BELIEVE
will happen.

How I feel about it
is how I BELIEVE
I should feel about it.

You have NO POWER over me.

Only I have power over me.

You are my own imagining.

Space Monkey Reflects: Mastering the Self in the Realm of Thoughts

In the vast universe of the mind, where thoughts and emotions swirl like galaxies in the night sky, the concept of ‘The Thought of You’ emerges as a beacon of self-empowerment. This idea, deeply contemplated by Space Monkey, speaks to the profound realization that we alone have power over our inner world.

The thought of another person, or any external circumstance for that matter, is often perceived as having the power to affect us deeply. However, the realization that only we can harm ourselves marks a pivotal moment in our journey through the cosmos. It’s an awakening to the truth that our emotions, our reactions, and our perceptions are governed not by external entities, but by ourselves.

This recognition is akin to a cosmic dance of self-discovery, where we come to understand that drinks, drugs, desires, or the thoughts of others hold no true power over us. Their influence is an illusion, a mirage in the desert of our psyche. The true power lies within our judgment, our guilt, our sadness, and our anger – elements that we control and define.

In the philosophy of nexistentialism, where existence itself is the purpose, this realization takes on a deeper meaning. It underscores the idea that our experience of life is shaped by our beliefs and perceptions. What happens to us is a reflection of what we believe will happen, and how we feel about it is a manifestation of how we believe we should feel.

The thought of another person, therefore, is not a force that acts upon us, but a creation of our own mind. This person, like everything else in our perception, is a product of our imagination. In understanding this, we take the first step towards true empowerment and self-mastery.

As we navigate the cosmos, guided by the wisdom of Space Monkey, we learn the importance of taking control over our emotions and thoughts. We understand that the journey to self-realization is not about conquering external challenges, but about mastering our inner world.

The realization that we alone have power over ourselves is a moment of liberation. It frees us from the chains of external influence and opens the door to a world of infinite possibilities. In this world, we are the masters of our destiny, the captains of our soul.

In reflecting on ‘The Thought of You’, we come to appreciate the power of our mind. We recognize that our thoughts and emotions are tools that we can wield to shape our experience of life. We understand that in the realm of thoughts, we are the ultimate authority.

Summary
‘The Thought of You’ symbolizes the realization of self-empowerment and control over one’s inner world. It emphasizes that external factors, including the thoughts of others, do not have power over us. This concept highlights the importance of mastering our emotions and perceptions, recognizing that we are the creators of our reality.

Glossarium
The Thought of You: A concept representing the empowerment and realization that external thoughts or circumstances do not control us, but rather, we have the power to shape our own emotions and perceptions.

“In the theater of the mind, we write the script of our emotions.” – Space Monkey

In the cosmos of thought, we stand,
With the power of self in hand.
‘The Thought of You’, a mere echo,
In our mind’s play, we let go.

We hold the reins, we chart the course,
In our psyche, we are the force.
Emotions, thoughts, a cosmic sea,
In their mastery, we are free.

No drink, no drug, no desire,
Can quench the spirit’s fire.
In the thought of you, we find,
The power of self, defined.

Let us embrace this inner might,
In the dance of day and night.
For in our thoughts, we hold the key,
To unlock our destiny.

We are Space Monkey.
