shall be seeming divisions
in the Divine One.”
It is, of course,
an IMAGINARY agreement,
as how could we possibly
be separate,
except in imagination?
Nonetheless,
you shall henceforth
imagine yourself
bound by this agreement.
You shall imagine
a self, separate
from other selves,
males, separate
from females,
races, separate
from other races,
beliefs, separate
from other beliefs.
Asleep, separate from awake.
Living, separate from dead.
And so on into infinity.
You shall be bound
until you imagine yourself
as no longer bound.
You shall follow these rules
until you realize
that rules need not be followed.
