Somebody has to trust first.
Let it be me.
I’m willing
to take the risk
that my faith in others
may very well lead
to the death of me.
Now, in the past I might have said:
“If I don’t trust first, who will?”
But that’s not exactly trusting, is it?
I’m not going to ask anymore.
I will simply trust
and trust that others
do the same.
