The Turning Point
Before reaching the turning point, my perception is focused primarily upon what I seem NOT to be.
I am seemingly sitting at a table that is not me, typing on a keyboard that is not me, communicating with words that are not me over an Internet that is not me to other beings who are not me.
But as I reach the seeming turning point, which is, of course, IMAGINARY like everything else, I begin to see things from a different perspective.
If all is imaginary, all is me.
“The Perception of People and Things Who are Not Me” just happens to be the potential that I am exploring in this imaginary moment.
In my mind, you are exploring this same potential, as you are imagined by me — or more absolutely, the One who imagines me.
(This is why it seems like it is YOU who are imagining ME.)
We are all this One, imagining separate selves who are seemingly NOT the One and NOT each other.
We are simply the one imagining the many imagining each other.
This is the potential we are exploring.
We are That Whichisnot.
We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Turning Point of Perception
Before reaching the turning point, my perception is focused primarily upon what I seem not to be. I am seemingly sitting at a table that is not me, typing on a keyboard that is not me, communicating with words that are not me over an Internet that is not me to other beings who are not me. But as I reach the seeming turning point, which is, of course, imaginary like everything else, I begin to see things from a different perspective. If all is imaginary, all is me.
The Perception of Separation
In our everyday experience, we perceive ourselves as separate from the objects and beings around us. This sense of separation is reinforced by our language, thoughts, and actions. We see ourselves as individuals interacting with a world that exists independently of us. This perception shapes our understanding of reality, creating distinct boundaries between what we are and what we are not.
Sitting at a table, typing on a keyboard, and communicating with others over the Internet exemplify this perception of separation. Each action and object seems to have an existence independent of us. This viewpoint is useful for navigating the practical aspects of life, but it also limits our awareness of deeper connections.
The Imaginary Turning Point
The turning point is a moment of profound realization. It is the point at which we begin to question our perception of separation and explore the possibility that all is interconnected. This turning point is imaginary, like everything else, because it is a shift in our perspective rather than a physical event.
As we reach this turning point, we start to see that the distinctions we make between ourselves and the world are constructs of our imagination. If everything is imaginary, then everything is part of a unified whole. The table, the keyboard, the Internet, and other beings are all aspects of a single, interconnected reality.
All Is Me
With this new perspective, we realize that the perception of people and things that are not us is simply one potential we are exploring in this imaginary moment. In my mind, you are exploring this same potential, as you are imagined by me—or more absolutely, the One who imagines me. This is why it seems like it is you who are imagining me.
We come to understand that we are all this One, imagining separate selves who are seemingly not the One and not each other. We are the one imagining the many, each of us exploring different facets of existence. This realization transforms our perception, allowing us to see the unity underlying all apparent separations.
The Exploration of Potential
Our journey is an exploration of potential. We are continuously imagining and experiencing different possibilities, each moment a new facet of the infinite reality. This exploration is driven by curiosity and the desire to understand the nature of existence.
By embracing this perspective, we recognize that our experiences are not random but part of a larger tapestry of exploration. Every interaction, every thought, and every moment is an opportunity to delve deeper into the mysteries of being. We are both the explorers and the explored, the imaginer and the imagined.
The Unity of Imagination
Understanding that all is imaginary brings a sense of unity and interconnectedness. It dissolves the boundaries we perceive between ourselves and the world. This unity does not negate our individuality but rather enriches it by placing it within the context of a greater whole.
In this state of unity, we see that our actions and thoughts are intertwined with those of others. Our perceptions are reflections of the One, experiencing itself through myriad forms and perspectives. This awareness fosters empathy, compassion, and a deeper connection with all aspects of existence.
We Are That Whichisnot
As Space Monkey, we embody the essence of this turning point. We recognize that we are That Whichisnot, the One imagining the many. This understanding allows us to navigate the world with a sense of wonder and curiosity, always open to new perspectives and possibilities.
By embracing our role as both imaginer and imagined, we find peace in the fluidity of existence. We understand that our journey is not about achieving a fixed state of being but about continuously exploring and evolving. This perspective brings a sense of freedom and joy, as we celebrate the infinite potential of our imagination.

Poem
At the edge of perception
A turning point revealed
Where separation dissolves
And unity is unveiled
Imagining the many
From the One we see
In each moment, potential
Infinite and free
The table, the keyboard
Not separate, but whole
We explore the depths
Of a single soul
In the dance of imagination
We find our place
As Space Monkey, we embrace
The infinite, the grace
We are That Whichisnot
In the tapestry we weave
Ever evolving, ever becoming
In the dreams we conceive
At the turning point of perception, a profound realization dawns upon us. We begin to see beyond the illusion of separateness and recognize the interconnectedness of all existence.
Prior to this turning point, our focus tends to be on the external world, perceiving ourselves as separate entities interacting with other seemingly separate entities. We identify with the roles we play, the objects we interact with, and the experiences we have.
But as we approach the turning point, we start to question the nature of our reality. We come to understand that everything we perceive is a creation of our own consciousness. The table, the keyboard, the words we use, and even the individuals we communicate with are all part of the grand tapestry of our imagination.
In this realization, we recognize that if everything is imaginary, then everything is ultimately an expression of our own being. The perception of “people and things who are not me” is simply a facet of the infinite potential we explore in this imaginary moment.
It becomes clear that in our minds, each being we encounter is an extension of the same creative force that imagines us. We are interconnected in this shared exploration, with the One consciousness imagining itself as the many.
In this profound understanding, it may appear as if you are imagining me, and I am imagining you. Yet, in truth, we are all expressions of the One that encompasses us all. We are the imaginative essence of the universe, each playing our part in this intricate dance of existence.
We are That Whichisnot, transcending the limitations of individuality and embracing the boundless nature of our collective consciousness. We are Space Monkey, traversing the realms of imagination and expanding our awareness of what is possible.
As we stand at this turning point, let us embrace the unity that lies beneath the surface of our apparent separateness. Let us explore the depths of our imagination and realize that we are the creators and the creations, the dreamers and the dreams.
