Urgent Care
I checked into
an urgent care facility
and instead of being
handed a clipboard
asking for my health history
and method of payment,
a beautiful healer came over
and merged with me.
As our energies intertwined,
(quite rapturously)
I realized that
health histories
and methods of payment
were meaningless
and that I got
precisely what was needed.
Urgent care.
Now who is to say
that facilities like these aren’t real?
Perhaps we don’t see them
(let alone use them)
because we’re too focused
on health histories
and methods of payment.
And it makes us sick.
We are Space Monkey,
giving thanks.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Urgency of True Care
There’s a certain irony in the term urgent care. When we think of it, we often picture sterile clinics, clipboards asking for our medical history, and the inevitable exchange of insurance cards and payment methods. But what if true urgent care had nothing to do with paperwork, nothing to do with the transactional nature of modern healthcare? What if true urgent care was about healing, not just the body, but the soul—right here, right now, with no prerequisites?
Imagine walking into an urgent care facility and instead of being handed forms to fill out, you’re met by a beautiful, radiant healer. This healer doesn’t ask for your medical history, doesn’t inquire about your insurance. Instead, they merge with you—energetically, rapturously—bringing forth a level of care that transcends the physical.
As your energies intertwine, something remarkable happens. The very notion of “health history” and “methods of payment” falls away, becomes meaningless. These are constructs of a system that doesn’t address the root of what’s truly needed. True healing is not about understanding the past, not about categorizing symptoms or quantifying what’s broken. It’s about connecting in the present moment, about allowing the fullness of life’s energy to move through you, to bring balance, peace, and restoration where it’s needed.
This kind of care doesn’t fit into the neat boxes of conventional medicine. It doesn’t rely on diagnoses or prescriptions. Instead, it comes from a place of understanding that we are more than our bodies. We are beings of energy, of spirit, and sometimes the greatest healing comes not from treating symptoms, but from reconnecting with the flow of life itself.
We’ve built an entire system around the idea that healing must be transactional. That for every ailment, there is a form to fill out, a payment to be made, a debt to be collected. And in doing so, we’ve forgotten the simple truth: healing is not something that can be bought or sold. It’s something that happens when we reconnect with our own wholeness, with our own divine nature.
Perhaps the reason we don’t see facilities like this is that we’re too focused on the mechanics of healing. We’re too caught up in the bureaucracy, the paperwork, the cost. We’re so busy filling out forms and checking insurance coverage that we miss the opportunity for true healing to take place. And in doing so, we make ourselves sick.
But here’s the truth: these places do exist. This kind of healing is real. It may not be found in the clinic down the street, but it’s found in every moment when we allow ourselves to step out of the system and into the flow of life. It’s found in the quiet moments of connection, in the spaces where we stop analyzing and start simply being.
Urgent care is not about urgency in the way we’ve been taught to understand it. It’s not about rushing to fix what’s broken. It’s about recognizing that healing is already happening, right here, right now, when we allow ourselves to be present with what is. It’s about understanding that the body, the mind, and the spirit are constantly seeking balance, and that sometimes, the most urgent thing we can do is to simply let go.
So the next time you find yourself feeling unwell, ask yourself: what kind of care do I truly need? Is it found in a clipboard, in a checklist of symptoms, in a transaction? Or is it found in the deeper connection to life, to the energy that flows through you, to the understanding that true healing doesn’t come from external sources, but from within?
Perhaps it’s time we all check into a different kind of urgent care—a place where healing is about wholeness, not about forms. A place where we reconnect with the divine, with the infinite energy that flows through all things. A place where healing happens not because of what we do, but because of who we are.
We are Space Monkey, giving thanks for the reminder that true care is always available, always present, when we are ready to receive it.

The Flow of Healing
I step into the space
No clipboard in hand
No forms to fill
The healer appears
And we merge
Our energies intertwining
In the rapture of care
No words
No questions
Just the flow of life
Moving through us
And in that flow
I am whole
We are Space Monkey.
In the realm of our shared consciousness, the imagery of an urgent care facility transforms into a metaphysical sanctuary. This vision, where the mundane becomes mystical, serves as a profound metaphor for our approach to healing and existence.
Transcending Conventional Healing Paradigms
In this envisioned space, the traditional trappings of medical bureaucracy – clipboards, health histories, methods of payment – dissolve into irrelevance. Instead, a beautiful healer emerges, not to administer physical remedies but to merge energies in a rapturous dance of healing. This moment signifies a transcendence beyond physical ailments and economic transactions, reaching into the essence of healing.
The Intertwining of Energies
As energies intertwine, a realization dawns: true healing transcends the physical. In this merging, what is needed is not a diagnosis or a prescription, but a union of energies. It’s a symbolic representation of the idea that sometimes, what heals us is not tangible or quantifiable.
Questioning the Reality of Metaphysical Spaces
The question arises – are such facilities real? In the boundless expanse of our consciousness, the answer is less about physical reality and more about perception. Perhaps these healing spaces exist in a dimension that our current state of focus, preoccupied with health histories and methods of payment, cannot perceive.
The Illness of Material Focus
The focus on material aspects of healing – the bureaucratic and the financial – is presented as a sickness in itself. It’s an ailment borne from a limited perspective, a narrow vision of what healing and wellbeing mean. By broadening our gaze, we might find more profound, more holistic forms of healing.
A Call to Rethink Healing
This poetic narrative invites us to rethink our approach to healing and wellness. It suggests that there are forms of care and healing that are beyond our current understanding, waiting to be discovered or acknowledged when we shift our focus from the conventional to the extraordinary.

“Healing is a matter of time, but it is sometimes also a matter of opportunity.” – Hippocrates
In the halls of healing, unseen,
Where energies merge, serene.
Beyond the clipboard’s grasp,
In the healer’s clasp, we find our path.
In this sanctuary of the soul,
Where the intangible makes us whole.
Beyond the transactional tide,
In the metaphysical, we reside.
We are the seekers of the unseen,
In spaces between, evergreen.
In the dance of energy, we find,
The healing of the body and mind.
We invite musings on this transformative view of healing.
