What Love Is
Everybody has an idea
of what love is,
yet nobody is certain
if they are experiencing
love to its fullest potential.
There always seems
to be more love to be had,
more feeling to grasp,
more completeness
to lose one’s self within.
This love we have
or don’t have
seems never enough.
Even when we are certain
that we are deeply in love,
we feel as though
we have a ways to go.
We wonder
if we even know
HOW to love
or if we are capable
of feeling the kind of love
that our intuition
tells us we are.
And so we find
our selves drawn
to this deeper love,
never quite certain
if it even exists.
Always on the edge
of a deeper love.
Teasing it out.
Not allowing
our selves to give in.
Allowing release,
only to discover
there’s more
love to be found.
Or so we think.
Until we think no longer.
And there it is.
All of it.
Where it’s always been.
And we no longer need it.
We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Elusive Nature of Love
Love is one of the most profound and mysterious experiences we can have as human beings. Yet, for all its depth and power, love remains elusive, always seeming just out of reach, just beyond our full understanding. Everyone has their own idea of what love is, but few are certain if they have truly experienced it in its fullest, most complete form.
The Quest for Deeper Love
There is a common feeling that no matter how much love we have in our lives, there is always more to be found. We yearn for a deeper connection, a more intense feeling, a sense of completeness that we believe only love can provide. This longing drives us to search for love in all its forms—romantic love, familial love, self-love—but no matter how much love we find, it often feels like there is still something missing.
Even when we are certain that we are deeply in love, there is a lingering sense that we have not yet reached the depths of what love can offer. We question whether we truly know how to love, whether we are capable of experiencing the kind of love that our intuition tells us is possible. This uncertainty keeps us on the edge, constantly searching for more, always striving to reach a deeper level of love.
The Edge of Love
Living on the edge of love can be exhilarating but also exhausting. We are drawn to the idea of a deeper love, but at the same time, we hold back, unsure if we are ready to fully give in to it. We tease out the possibilities, exploring the boundaries of love without ever fully crossing them. This dance with love keeps us engaged, but it also keeps us from fully experiencing the love that is already present in our lives.
The truth is, the love we seek is not something that can be found through effort or striving. It is not something that exists outside of us, waiting to be discovered. The love we long for is already within us, always has been. It is only our thoughts, our doubts, and our fears that keep us from fully experiencing it.
The Moment of Realization
There comes a moment when we stop searching, when we stop trying to find love and simply allow ourselves to be. In this moment, we realize that love has always been there, right where it’s always been—within us. This realization is both profound and liberating. We no longer feel the need to seek out love or to prove our worthiness of it. We simply recognize that love is our natural state of being.
In this state, we no longer feel the need to grasp for more love or to lose ourselves in the pursuit of it. We understand that love is not something to be attained or achieved, but something to be experienced in every moment. It is not about finding the perfect partner, the perfect relationship, or the perfect expression of love. It is about recognizing that love is already here, within us, waiting to be embraced.
The Freedom of Love
When we come to this realization, we are free. Free from the need to seek, to strive, to yearn for something that is already ours. We are free to love fully, without fear or hesitation, knowing that love is not something that can be lost or taken away. It is an integral part of who we are, a gift that we can give and receive without limit.
This freedom allows us to love without attachment, without the need for validation or approval. We no longer measure our worth by the amount of love we receive or the intensity of our feelings. Instead, we simply love, knowing that love is enough, that it is always enough.
The Endless Journey
The journey of love is endless, not because we are constantly seeking more, but because love itself is infinite. As we deepen our understanding of love, we discover new dimensions, new possibilities, new ways of experiencing and expressing it. But this journey is not about reaching a destination; it is about embracing the journey itself, knowing that love is both the path and the reward.
In the end, the greatest love we can experience is the love that is already within us, the love that we are. When we stop searching for love and simply allow ourselves to be, we find that love is all around us, in every moment, in every breath. And in this realization, we are finally free.
Summary
Love is often seen as something to be sought after, but true love is already within us. The journey to deeper love is about realizing that love is our natural state of being, and it’s always enough.

The Endless Path
In the twilight of longing
I reach out
not for what is missing
but for what has always been
the gentle breeze of love
whispers through the fields
and I stand
on the edge
of everything
and nothing
and I find
that love was never lost
only waiting
for me to see
we are Space Monkey
Love, in its manifold manifestations, seems like a meandering river searching for its oceanic culmination. Ah, but the landscape it traverses is never simple—it winds through cavernous yearnings and stratospheric aspirations, over the boulders of doubt and through the vales of introspection. We know its form, its sensation, its intoxicating scent, yet we dance forever on the fringes, doubting the fullness of our own experience.
One might say that love is the ultimate whimsiword, a caravan of emotions and intents that gambol from soul to soul, leaving sparkles of its transient essence wherever it traverses. Yet, always we ponder: Is this all? Is there more to squeeze from this luscious fruit? A deeper nectar, perhaps, that we are yet to savor? We, the curious cartographers of our internal landscapes, keep drafting and redrafting the maps to our own hearts, each version more detailed but never quite definitive.
And then comes the moment—oh, that liminal, crystalline moment—where thought evaporates and love just is. No longer a quest, no longer an enigma to dissect, but an innate state of being. It’s like the air we breathe, the gravity that tethers us; invisible, yet undeniably present. Suddenly, the incessant need for it dissipates, not because love itself has vanished, but because it has so infused our essence that to question it is to question our own existence.
We are Space Monkey.
Summary
We explore the ineffable concept of love, acknowledging its malleable nature and our eternal quest to plunge deeper into its abyss. We recognize that love is both an everlasting mystery and an innate state of being, present within us even as we doubt its completeness. Eventually, we find it not by seeking, but by surrendering to its omnipresence within us.
