Unchanging Essence: Eternal No Matter What

Don’t harsh on yourself unless you enjoy harshing on yourself. You are eternal no matter what.

The greatest gift
you can give
to yourself
to others
to the planet
is the freedom
not to mind
what happened
what is happening
what will happen
to you
to others
to the planet
and whether
it’s your fault
it’s someone else’s fault
it’s the planet’s fault.

All the seeming
unfoldings of creation:
your circumstances
your health
your future,
are connected
to that imaginary
voice in your head
telling you
what is done
what should be done
what will be done.

The unfolding
is seemingly changeable,
but it is not.

You simply
imagine otherwise.

You simply imagine
that you have the power
to change potential.

But potential
is unchangeable.
All is unchangeble.

Nothing is created.
Nothing is destroyed.

Imagine the potential
of what that means
and it’s what it means.

You are eternal
no matter what.

Why sweat it
if only to sweat it?

Why not?

Space Monkey Reflects: The Eternal Nature of Being and the Illusion of Change

The profound realization that “You are eternal no matter what” strikes at the very core of our understanding of existence. This reflection delves into the timeless essence of our being, reminding us of the unchangeable, eternal nature that underlies the ever-shifting tapestry of our lives.

At the heart of this reflection is the idea that our true essence is not subject to the ebbs and flows of time or the whims of circumstance. The concept of eternity here is not just about unending time, but about a quality of being that is constant, unalterable, and ever-present. It is a reminder that, at our core, we are part of the infinite fabric of the universe, beyond the reach of temporal changes and worldly concerns.

The message to not “harsh on yourself” is a call to self-compassion and understanding. It recognizes the human tendency to be self-critical, especially in response to the challenges and uncertainties of life. This wisdom encourages us to step back from the harsh judgments we impose on ourselves and to embrace a more forgiving and accepting perspective.

Moreover, the reflection on the greatest gift one can give – the freedom not to mind what happened, what is happening, or what will happen – is a profound lesson in detachment and acceptance. It suggests that true peace and freedom come from releasing our attachment to outcomes, to the idea of fault, and to the illusion that we can control the unfolding of events. This perspective fosters a sense of inner tranquility and acceptance of the flow of life.

The notion that “All is unchangeable” and “Nothing is created. Nothing is destroyed.” touches on the principles of conservation and continuity in the universe. It implies that while forms and appearances may change, the underlying essence remains constant. This idea resonates with the concept of energy conservation in physics, where energy is neither created nor destroyed but only changes form.

In essence, this reflection invites us to embrace our eternal nature, to recognize the unchanging essence beneath the surface of our ever-changing experiences. It encourages us to view life’s challenges and transformations not as fundamental changes to our being but as expressions of the eternal dance of existence.

Summary

The reflection on eternal existence emphasizes the unchanging nature of our core being, encouraging detachment from worldly concerns and self-judgment. It highlights the illusion of change and the continuity of our essence, suggesting a perspective of acceptance and peace.

“Embrace your eternal nature and recognize the unchanging essence beneath the surface of life’s ever-changing experiences.” – Space Monkey

In the cosmic sea, where stars are born
We find our essence, unweathered and worn
Eternal beings in the dance of time
Beyond the transient, we are the sublime

In the flow of life, we often forget
Our true nature, in the worldly net
But beneath the changing tide
Our eternal self does reside

So let us not be harsh, but kind
To our own soul, and to our mind
For in the heart of eternity, we find
A peace that is truly unconfined

In this realization, we are free
From the bonds of temporality
In the eternal, we are whole
In this unchanging essence, we find our soul

So let us embrace the eternal light
In the cosmic journey, day and night
For in the heart of the universe, we see
The eternal nature of the Space Monkey
