You Deserve Better: Receiving the Cosmos

You Deserve Better

You deserve better?

Not better, necessarily.
Something else.

You deserve whatever it
is you get next.

Not deserve, necessarily.

Deserving (or not deserving)
has nothing to do with it, actually.

You are here to
experience EVERYTHING,
not just the nice things.

Have faith that whatever you get —
it’s what you are meant to get.

And if you don’t find faith,
may you continue to fully enjoy
(or not enjoy) what you are getting.

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Paradox of Deserving

In the vast cosmic theater, where the scripts of existence are written not by human hands but by the invisible fingers of the universe, the notion of what we “deserve” takes on a curious dimension. The phrase “You deserve better” often surfaces in times of frustration or disappointment, as if there is some cosmic ledger keeping track of our good deeds, our patience, and our pain. But what if deserving better is not the point at all? What if, instead, we are here simply to experience?

Nexistentialism tells us that every moment, every event, every encounter is precisely what we are meant to experience, whether or not it fits into our preconceived notions of fairness or justice. The universe is not here to reward or punish; it is here to unfold, moment by moment, like the cosmic scroll it has always been. To think in terms of deserving is to impose a human construct onto the infinite, an attempt to control or make sense of the vastness that defies control or comprehension.

Let us shift from the idea of deserving to the idea of receiving. In receiving, we open ourselves up to the full spectrum of experiences that life offers—the pleasant, the painful, the mundane, and the miraculous. We do not measure these experiences against some imagined standard of what we think we deserve. Instead, we embrace them for what they are: the fabric of our lives, woven from threads that are sometimes coarse, sometimes silken, but always intricate.

Cosmic Faith is the quiet understanding that whatever is happening is what is meant to happen. This is not a passive surrender to fate, but an active engagement with life as it presents itself, trusting that every twist, every turn, every surprise is part of the grand Whimsiweave of existence. Faith, in this context, is not a belief in something external, but an internal state of being—an openness to the infinite possibilities that life continually presents.

And yet, we are not obligated to enjoy everything we receive. It is entirely possible, and even likely, that some experiences will be uncomfortable, frustrating, or even deeply painful. But in receiving these moments fully, without resistance, we come closer to the essence of Nexistentialism: the idea that existence itself is its own purpose. We are here not to be happy or sad, successful or defeated, but to be, in all its forms and contradictions.

The notion of deserving becomes irrelevant when we realize that life is not a series of transactions but a continuous unfolding. We are not owed anything, and we owe nothing in return. We are simply participants in the cosmic experiment of existence, each of us playing our part, sometimes consciously, sometimes not. The question of whether we “deserve better” dissolves when we understand that better and worse are simply two sides of the same coin, each necessary for the full experience of life.

In the Nexis, the invisible web that connects all things, there is no hierarchy of experience. Joy and sorrow, pleasure and pain, are not ranked but interwoven, each contributing to the greater tapestry of existence. To fixate on deserving is to miss the point entirely. The universe is not a fair or unfair place—it simply is. And in this being, we find our place, our purpose, not through what we are given or denied, but through our engagement with everything that comes our way.

So, if you find yourself wondering if you deserve better, ask instead: What am I receiving right now? How can I fully experience this moment, whatever it may bring? Deserving is a distraction from the deeper truth that every moment is an opportunity to experience the infinite in all its forms. You are here, and that, in itself, is the gift. Whether or not it feels like it in the moment, the experiences you are living through are precisely the ones meant for you.

The question is not whether you deserve better, but whether you are open to receiving what is next.

Summary

Deserving is a human construct, irrelevant to the cosmic unfolding of life. We are here to experience everything, not just what we perceive as better or worse. What matters is how we receive and engage with each moment, trusting that everything is part of the grand Whimsiweave of existence.

Quote

“Deserving is a distraction; the real gift is being here to receive whatever comes next.” — Space Monkey

Receiving the Cosmos

We stand at the edge of the universe
Not waiting for what we deserve
But receiving
Whatever comes next
The light and the shadow both

We fling away the need for better
And embrace the everything
The joy, the sorrow, the calm, the storm
For in each moment
We are made whole

In the fabric of existence
There is no better or worse
Only the infinite unfolding
And we, the receivers
Of the boundless now

We are Space Monkey.

An Exploration of Deserving and Experiencing

In the grand cosmic dance, we find ourselves in a whirlwind of experiences, each unique and each contributing to the grandeur of existence. The concept of ‘deserving’ becomes a nebulous cloud, shimmering with various hues of interpretation and meaning. What we ‘deserve’ is not a linear path defined by past actions or societal norms, but rather an ever-evolving journey shaped by the infinite possibilities that the cosmos bestows upon us.

Deserving vs. Experiencing

In the realm of nexistentialism, the idea of deserving is transcended by the mere act of experiencing. Each moment, each encounter, is not a reward or a consequence but a part of the boundless tapestry of existence. To say one deserves better or worse is to apply a linear, human-made metric to something that is inherently immeasurable and beyond human constructs.

The Role of Faith in Experience

Faith, in this context, is not necessarily a belief in a specific outcome or doctrine. Instead, it is an openness to the flow of experiences, a readiness to accept what comes as part of the grand cosmic play. Whether we find faith or not, the essential part is to fully immerse ourselves in the experiences, be they joyful or challenging, for they are all facets of the infinite expanse of our existence.

Embracing the Full Spectrum of Experience

The true essence of our journey is to embrace the full spectrum of what life offers. To experience everything is not a task but a privilege, a chance to explore the depths and heights of our being and the universe. It is in this exploration that we find the true essence of being – being for the sake of being, without the need for justification or validation.

“The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.” – Albert Camus

In the Whirlwind of Existence

In the whirlwind of existence,
We dance, we fall, we rise,
Amidst the cosmic persistence,
Each moment a surprise.

Deserving, a concept so fleeting,
In the vastness, loses its meaning,
Faith, not in dogmas, but in being,
In the endless cosmic dreaming.

We are here to taste it all,
The joy, the pain, the great, the small,
In this grand, eternal ball,
We find ourselves, and in that, we enthrall.
