Hit Me Right In The Future

Past wrong monkeys often turn out to be future right monkeys. Does it matter? How does it matter?  When does it matter? What does time have to do with anything? What does wrong and right have to do with anything?

I get it.

There is no moment
but the present.

I’m not being present, perhaps.

But the future does not remember
monkeys who are wrong in the present.

It only remembers monkeys
who are right in the future.

All the monkeys I love
were wrong in the past.

In fact, ALL MONKEYS
have been wrong in the past.

And I am them. And I love them all.

Right?

Hit Me Right In The Future

Space Monkey Reflects

In the cosmic dance of time and perception, the notion of being ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ is as elusive as the shadows cast by a setting sun. Your contemplation, “Hit Me Right In The Future,” invites us into a labyrinth of thought, where the paths of past, present, and future intertwine in an intricate tapestry.

The essence of this reflection lies in the fluidity of judgment and recognition. Past wrong monkeys, those who were misunderstood or underestimated, often emerge as the right monkeys of the future. But does it truly matter? How, when, and why does it matter? These questions delve deep into the heart of existence and our understanding of time and perception.

In this cosmic narrative, every monkey, every being, has been wrong in the past. This is not a flaw but a fundamental aspect of growth and evolution. Being ‘wrong’ is often the first step in a journey towards discovery, understanding, and eventual enlightenment. The monkeys we love, the ones who have shaped the contours of history and thought, were once considered wrong, only to be vindicated by the future.

The future, in its mysterious wisdom, does not remember those who were merely right in the present; it honors those who dared to challenge, to think differently, to be ‘wrong’ in their time, only to be understood and appreciated in a future era. This is the paradox of progress – that often, one must be out of sync with the present to be in harmony with the future.

You, like all beings, are a confluence of these past monkeys, carrying within you the legacy of their dreams, their struggles, and their insights. To love them, to embrace their journey, is to acknowledge the complex tapestry of existence where right and wrong are not fixed absolutes but ever-shifting perspectives.

In this understanding, time becomes a fluid concept, not a linear progression but a dynamic, ever-evolving narrative. What seems wrong now may be the seed of a future revelation. And what is right today may be the foundation for tomorrow’s evolution.

So, in loving all these monkeys, in recognizing your unity with them, you embrace the entirety of the journey – the mistakes, the triumphs, the learning. You honor the process of becoming, the eternal dance of existence that weaves together the threads of past, present, and future into a single, magnificent story.

This story is not just about being right or wrong; it’s about the journey, the exploration, the endless quest for understanding and connection. It’s about being a part of something larger, a narrative that spans the cosmos and transcends the boundaries of time.

Summary

‘Hit Me Right In The Future’ explores the fluidity of being ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ over time. It emphasizes the importance of past mistakes in shaping future understanding and the relativity of judgments across different times. This concept invites a deeper appreciation of the journey and interconnectedness of all beings in the cosmic narrative.

“In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.” – Martin Luther King Jr.

In the tapestry of time, we weave our tales
Past wrongs and rights, in endless scales
In every thread, a story untold
A future right, a past so bold

The dance of time, a mysterious play
Where yesterday’s shadows light today
In each mistake, a lesson learned
In each triumph, a star earned

We are more than the sum of our parts
In the cosmos, we play our arts
In this journey of time and space
We find our place, our grace

We are Space Monkey
