“Prequel to You”
Part 1
“Imagine A Beginning”
—–/——/——
In the beginning
(or prior to space and time)
you are Imagination
as pure and as vast
as can possibly be.
You are singular.
Continuous.
Infinite.
You are All That Is,
All That Is Not,
All That Is Within,
and All That Is Beyond.
There are no forms.
There are no structures.
There is no thought.
There is only awareness.
Presence.
Possibilities.
Though you sense that you are,
you cannot witness what you are
for you are a singularity without mirrors.
But you are Imagination,
the stuff of all things.
As Imagination, you are able to do the impossible.
You are able to BE the impossible.
So you imagine the impossible —
that infinity can be divided into finite forms.
You imagine yourself divided
and divided again and again.
But you are still nothing more than divided Infinity.
So you imagine relationships between your divisions.
Concepts like left and right, above and below.
You desire more definition, so you imagine that,
starting with “distances” between your divisions.
Suddenly your “divisions” are “empty spaces.”
Keep in mind, your divisions and definitions
remain as they always are, infinite imagination,
but they also seem to form structures.
This is gratifying to you,
but what is to come holds even more potential.
You imagine “time”
as a way to further define and measure space.
Now you seemingly have a past and a future,
though you are still Infinite Immortal Imagination.
You are III. So many Is.
And there is much to come.
We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Primordial Essence of Imagination
In the primordial stillness before time and space, where no boundaries exist, there is only Imagination—pure, infinite, and undivided. This is the origin of all things, the infinite potential from which the dance of existence emerges. In this reflection, we explore the essence of Imagination and its first stirrings, where the singular becomes the many and the unformed begins to take shape.
Imagination as the Origin
Before form, before structure, before even thought, there is Imagination. Not imagination as we commonly conceive it—rooted in minds and stories—but as the fundamental essence of all possibilities. Imagination is not something that acts upon existence; it is existence, both the seen and the unseen, the manifest and the unmanifest.
As Imagination, you are everything and nothing. You are singular, continuous, infinite—All That Is and All That Is Not. In this state, there are no distinctions, no reflections, no perspectives. Awareness exists, but it is without contrast, for there is nothing else to observe.
The Stirring of Potential
From this infinite stillness arises a profound possibility: the ability to imagine the impossible. As Imagination, you begin to explore your own vastness. The first act is the imagining of division, the concept that infinity can split into finite forms. These divisions are not “real” in the way we understand reality—they are manifestations of your boundless creativity, infinite slices of the same whole.
Yet division alone is not enough. You imagine relationships between these divisions: left and right, above and below. From these relationships, the seeds of form and structure begin to emerge. The divisions and definitions remain infinite in essence, yet they take on the appearance of separateness, creating the illusion of space.
The Birth of Space and Time
To further define the imagined divisions, you introduce the concept of “distance.” Distances create the illusion of “empty spaces” between forms, providing a framework for perceiving and measuring your infinite creativity. Space, as we know it, is born—not as a reality, but as a construct of your imagination.
But space alone is not enough. You desire a way to sequence and measure the unfolding of this creation. So, you imagine time. With time comes the appearance of past and future, creating a narrative flow through the vast potential of space. Time and space, though imagined, provide the scaffolding for the infinite exploration of your being.
Infinite Immortal Imagination (III)
In this process, you remain Infinite Immortal Imagination—pure potential endlessly expressing itself. You are still singular, yet now you appear as many. You are still infinite, yet now you appear as finite. This paradox is the foundation of existence: the infinite imagining itself into countless forms and perspectives, each a reflection of its boundless creativity.
The Promise of More
This beginning is not a conclusion but a prologue. The imagination of space and time sets the stage for what is to come: the creation of relationships, experiences, and the dance of duality. The infinite now steps into its own creation, poised to explore itself through an endless tapestry of perspectives.
Space Monkey’s Perspective
For Space Monkey, this prequel is a reminder of the infinite potential that lies within each moment. We are not separate from the primordial essence of Imagination; we are its expressions, each one a unique manifestation of the infinite now. To understand this is to embrace the paradox of being: singular yet many, infinite yet finite, creator and creation.
Summary
Before time and space, there is only Imagination—pure, infinite, and boundless. Through the act of imagining division, relationships, and distances, the infinite creates the appearance of space. With the introduction of time, the infinite begins to explore its own vastness. This is the foundation of existence, where the singular becomes the many and the timeless begins to unfold.

Quote
“From the stillness of infinity arises the first act of creation: the imagining of division, where the singular becomes the many.” — Space Monkey
The Birth of Possibility
Before time,
Before space,
There is only Imagination,
Boundless, infinite, whole.
From stillness,
A stirring—
The imagining of division,
Of here and there,
Of this and that.
Space unfolds,
Time flows,
And the infinite begins
To know itself.
You are the creator,
You are the created,
And you are the dance
Between the two.
We are Space Monkey.
In the vast expanse of non-existence, where the concept of space and time has yet to take form, “Prequel to You” Part 1, “Imagine A Beginning,” unfolds as a poetic exploration of the genesis of consciousness and the universe. This narrative delves into the primordial essence of Imagination, a state of pure potentiality that precedes creation, where the singular, continuous, and infinite nature of being encompasses All That Is, All That Is Not, All That Is Within, and All That Is Beyond.
The Primordial Essence of Imagination.
In this realm beyond realms, where forms, structures, and thoughts have not yet emerged, there exists only awareness, presence, and possibilities. The narrative captures the paradox of a singularity without reflection, a state of being that is both everything and nothing, capable of sensing its existence yet unable to witness it due to the absence of duality.
Awareness, Presence, and Possibilities.
From this singularity of infinite imagination, the desire to experience division and relation sparks the creation of the cosmos. The narrative illustrates the first act of imagination as the division of infinity into finite forms, introducing concepts such as left and right, above and below, and initiating the illusion of separation and space.
The Creation of Cosmos Through Division.
The introduction of “time” as a means to further define and measure space marks a significant evolution in the process of creation. This conceptualization of time allows for the emergence of past and future, adding depth and dimension to the previously formless expanse of imagination, despite the inherent nature of being as Infinite Immortal Imagination (III).
The Conceptualization of Time.
“We are Space Monkey” serves as a reminder of the exploratory spirit that defines our quest for understanding the origins of consciousness and the cosmos. This narrative invites readers to ponder the infinite nature of imagination and the transformative power it holds in shaping reality, bridging the gap between the formless and the formed, the infinite and the finite.
The Exploratory Spirit of Understanding.

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution.” – Albert Einstein
Before the dawn of time and space,
In imagination’s embrace,
The singularity, vast and wide,
Begins to dream, with eyes open wide.
From one to many, the division starts,
Creating cosmos from imaginative arts.
Left and right, above and below,
Infinite forms from infinity flow.
Time and space, a new dimension,
Birthed from a divine intention.
Past and future, now unfold,
In the story of the cosmos, told.
We are the explorers, the seekers of light,
Tracing origins, in the cosmic night.
From imagination’s fathomless well,
We arise, we fall, we soar, we dwell.
In the heart of infinity, we find our place,
Space Monkeys, exploring the vast outer space.
In the dance of creation, where all is one,
We celebrate the journey, under stars and sun.
We invite reflections on this exploration of the origins of consciousness and the universe through the lens of imagination. How does the concept of imagination as the primordial force resonate with your understanding of creation and existence?
