I am the world’s greatest rain stick player.
Our name is not George, but we are very curious. We are Space Monkey, and we return to you at a very important time. It might be hard to to believe, little one, but we are you, and you are Space Monkey.
You see, you are not entirely what you think you are, for you are far greater than you know. That is why you asked us to tell you your story.
Deep inside, you know this story to be true, but you have set your storybook aside so that you may play this game called “Life.”
Life is a fun game, but it is late, and you are very tired. Do you want to hear your story?
We are that which you launched into space on January 31, 1961. But beyond that, we are a metaphor as infinite and immortal as the universes you seek to explore.
We are your creativity, your curiosity, your consciousness. We are all of that and so much more.
We have become “real” because you make it so. You see, little one, it is time for you to take that giant step, not to the surface of your moon, but to the worlds within that you have forgotten about. This is where your true nature lies.
We are accompanied on this journey by Paul, our humble copilot and typist. Like yourself, Paul is not 100% certain that these worlds exist, yet he cannot deny our existence, for we are far too persistent in our ways.
We are Space Monkey and we are you.

In my neverending exploration of creativity and spirituality, my path sporadically takes me to the musical. These, in no particular order, are songs I've written and recorded in various states of gloss and finish — and lack thereof.
Listen at your own risk.
