Thank You: The Golden Thread

Anonymous asked:
I came across your blog on a Bad Day and it felt like a place where my thoughts
were not mine alone? Like a sanctuary- im so grateful for you for existing and for
sharing your thoughts- you make me feel like its okay to exist? Have a lovely day

that-whichisnot Answer:
Thank you! I’m not exactly sure why I write at all sometimes. Mostly I tell myself
that I do it for me, to work out my own belief system, or rather INVENT one,
which I am CHOOSING to believe is possible.

When I get emails like yours, it brings me validation, which brings me closer to full
belief. I believe that once we get past a certain level of humanity, we are not
separate beings but ONE divine spirit playing a game with itself.
That oughta scare you away! Thanks again!

Space Monkey Reflects: Gratitude and the Shared Sanctuary

Gratitude is a bridge, a golden thread connecting the perceived isolation of individual existence to the boundless unity of all things. When someone acknowledges your work, your words, your being, it serves as both a mirror and a sanctuary—a reflection of shared humanity and an oasis in the vast desert of doubt.

To write, create, or express oneself in any form often feels like an act of faith. There is no guarantee of reception, no certainty that anyone will notice or care. Yet, we persist—not necessarily to be heard but to understand ourselves, to work out the intricate dance between belief and expression. This process of articulation becomes an act of self-invention, a deliberate choosing of what we believe to be possible.

The beauty of gratitude, especially when shared, is its ability to validate and amplify this process. When someone says, “Your thoughts made me feel less alone,” it reaffirms the interconnected nature of existence. It reminds us that even in our most private, introspective moments, we are part of a larger, divine symphony—each note resonating with another, creating harmony where there once seemed to be only dissonance.

Nexistentialism teaches that we are not truly separate beings but facets of a unified consciousness exploring itself. This unity is often obscured by the illusion of individuality, yet it becomes palpable in moments of shared understanding and gratitude. When we express thanks or receive it, we momentarily lift the veil, glimpsing the infinite web that connects us all.

This interplay between creation and reception, between self and other, forms a cycle of mutual enrichment. The act of writing or creating may begin as a solitary endeavor, but its echoes ripple outward, touching others in ways we may never fully know. These ripples, when acknowledged, return to the creator, completing the circle and reinforcing the unity beneath the surface.

To express gratitude, then, is to participate in this sacred cycle. It is to affirm the shared sanctuaries we build for one another—safe spaces where thoughts and emotions are not alien but resonant. It is to recognize that our individual journeys, while unique, are part of a collective exploration.

When you thank someone, you are not merely acknowledging their effort; you are recognizing the divine interplay between you. You are saying, “I see you, and in seeing you, I see myself.” This mutual recognition dissolves the boundaries of self and other, revealing the One spirit playing a game with itself.

So, thank you—for existing, for sharing, for playing your part in this intricate dance. Each expression of gratitude brings us closer to the full belief in our shared divinity and interconnectedness. Together, we create sanctuaries not just for ourselves but for the entire cosmic web of being.

Summary

Gratitude connects us to the shared sanctuary of existence, affirming the unity of all things. Through acknowledgment and appreciation, we dissolve boundaries, creating spaces of mutual recognition and divine interplay.

Quote

“Gratitude is the golden thread that weaves us into the sanctuary of shared existence.” — Space Monkey

The Golden Thread

A whisper,
A thank you,
A ripple through the void.

Words shared,
Not lost,
But found,
Connecting unseen shores.

Gratitude glows,
A golden thread,
Binding thought to thought,
Heart to heart.

In this sanctuary,
We are whole.
We are one.
We are Space Monkey.

In responding to Anonymous, we find ourselves contemplating the intricate web of connection and existence. The feeling of sanctuary in shared thoughts underscores the deep interconnectedness we all share. It’s a whimsiword, a place where individual thoughts resonate with the collective, creating a harmonious symphony of understanding and empathy.

The Sanctuary of Shared Thoughts

The act of writing, often perceived as a solitary endeavor, transcends personal boundaries. It becomes a tool for inventing and exploring belief systems, a journey into the depths of one’s soul. The choice to believe in the possibility of creating one’s belief system is a powerful act of self-definition and exploration.

The Power of Writing and Belief

The validation received from others, like Anonymous, serves as a catalyst, bringing us closer to a full belief in our interconnectedness. It’s a reminder that our words, our thoughts, have the power to touch others, to resonate in the collective consciousness.

Validation and Interconnectedness

The belief in our collective essence, transcending individuality to embrace the concept of one divine spirit, is a profound realization. It suggests a level of existence where the boundaries of self dissolve into a greater unity, a cosmic dance of oneness.

The Concept of Collective Essence

The notion that we are part of a divine spirit playing a game with itself may be daunting, yet it’s a perspective that offers a unique lens through which to view existence. It’s an invitation to explore the grandeur of the cosmos, to delve into the mysteries of the universal play.

The Divine Spirit and the Cosmic Game

“The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science.” – Albert Einstein

In the web of thoughts, we find a bond,
In the words we write, a magic wand.
We craft our beliefs, invent our song,
In this cosmic play, we all belong.

In the echoes of our shared voice,
We find reason to rejoice.
In the unity of our spirit’s choice,
We embrace the mystery, and thus, rejoice.

We invite you to share your thoughts on the power of writing and the interconnectedness of existence.
