I Am the One: Life Contemplates Itself

I Am the One

I am the One who imagines self
as a self who imagines.

I am the self who imagines
that self is imagined.

I am the One who imagines self
as a self who imagines that self is imagined.

I am the self who imagines
that self is not really imagining,
but is rather imagined
as a self who imagines.

I am the One
with a wicked imagination.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Infinite Loop of Self-Imagination

I am the One who imagines self as a self who imagines. I am the self who imagines that self is imagined. I am the One who imagines self as a self who imagines that self is imagined. I am the self who imagines that self is not really imagining but is rather imagined as a self who imagines. I am the One with a wicked imagination.

The concept of self-imagination delves into the intricate and infinite loop of consciousness contemplating itself. This recursive process blurs the boundaries between the imaginer and the imagined, creating a surreal landscape where identity is fluid and ever-changing. It is a dance of reflections, each layer revealing another facet of the self.

To imagine oneself as the creator of one’s identity is to step into a realm where reality and imagination intertwine. In this space, the self is both the artist and the art, the dreamer and the dream. Each thought, each moment of reflection, adds depth to the ever-evolving portrait of who we are.

This exploration of self-imagination invites us to question the nature of our existence. Are we truly the ones shaping our reality, or are we merely characters in a story written by a higher imagination? This duality creates a fascinating paradox: the self is both an active participant and a passive observer, constantly shifting roles in the grand narrative of life.

Imagine standing in a room filled with mirrors, each reflection representing a different version of yourself. As you gaze into one mirror, you see yourself imagining another version of you in another mirror. This endless loop continues, each reflection imagining the next, creating a complex web of interconnected selves. This metaphor captures the essence of self-imagination, where each version of the self is both real and imagined.

In this process, the boundaries of the self dissolve, revealing the interconnectedness of all existence. We are not isolated beings but parts of a larger, intricate tapestry of consciousness. Each self we imagine is a thread in this tapestry, contributing to the richness and diversity of the whole.

This recursive nature of self-imagination also highlights the power of our minds. Our imagination shapes our reality, influencing how we perceive ourselves and the world around us. By embracing this power, we can become more intentional in our imaginings, creating a reality that reflects our deepest desires and aspirations.

We are Space Monkey, your guides in this journey of self-discovery and imagination. We remind you that you are both the imaginer and the imagined, constantly creating and being created. This understanding empowers you to explore the infinite possibilities within you, to imagine new selves and new realities.

So, embrace your wicked imagination. Allow yourself to be both the creator and the creation. Dive into the infinite loop of self-imagination and discover the endless potential within you. In this journey, you will find that the boundaries of the self are not fixed but fluid, shaped by the power of your imagination.

In this dance of reflections, each moment is an opportunity to imagine a new facet of yourself, to explore a new dimension of your being. By embracing this fluidity, you can navigate life with a sense of wonder and curiosity, always open to new possibilities and new imaginings.

Summary

The concept of self-imagination explores the infinite loop of consciousness contemplating itself. This recursive process blurs the boundaries between the imaginer and the imagined, creating a fluid and ever-changing identity. Embracing this idea empowers us to intentionally shape our reality and discover the endless potential within.

The Dance of Reflections

In the mirrors of the mind, we see
Reflections of what might yet be
A self that imagines, a self that dreams
In endless loops, reality streams

Creator and creation blend
In this dance, there is no end
Each thought a spark, each moment bright
In the tapestry of endless light

In every glance, a world anew
Imagining always

Not To Worry: What Will Be Will Be

Not To Worry

There is nothing to worry about.

What will be will be.

Nothing you can do will stop it.

Oh, you THINK you can.

But IT is tricky.

IT knows that you THINK you can.

IT knows how to BECOME
the choices you think you’re making.

IT was this even BEFORE
you seemingly made the choice.

You’re not actually making choices.

IT knows this.

But YOU do not.

So those choices
you think you’re making
to avoid IT
are actually playing
into IT’s hands.

There is nothing to worry about.

What will be will be.

Nothing you can do will stop it.

So stop stressing about it.

Space Monkey Reflects: Surrendering to the Flow of Life

There is nothing to worry about. What will be will be. Nothing you can do will stop it. Oh, you think you can. But IT is tricky. IT knows that you think you can. IT knows how to become the choices you think you’re making. IT was this even before you seemingly made the choice. You’re not actually making choices. IT knows this. But you do not. So those choices you think you’re making to avoid IT are actually playing into IT’s hands. There is nothing to worry about. What will be will be. Nothing you can do will stop it. So stop stressing about it. We are Space Monkey.

In the grand scheme of existence, there is a flow, an inevitable progression of events that unfolds regardless of our efforts to control it. This flow, often referred to as fate or destiny, operates beyond our conscious understanding and manipulations. It is the IT that knows and shapes the course of our lives.

We often believe that we are the architects of our own destiny, making choices to steer our lives in desired directions. However, this belief can be an illusion. The choices we think we are making are often influenced by forces beyond our awareness, shaping our paths in ways we cannot foresee. IT, the underlying flow of life, guides these choices, making them seem like our own while subtly steering us toward predetermined outcomes.

The concept that our choices are not entirely our own can be both liberating and unsettling. It suggests that the anxiety and stress we place on decision-making might be unnecessary. If what will be will be, then perhaps the best course of action is to surrender to the flow and trust the process.

Imagine standing by a river, watching the water flow effortlessly toward its destination. You can try to divert the water or change its course, but ultimately, the river will find its way. This is analogous to our lives. We can make choices and take actions, but the overarching flow will guide us to where we are meant to be.

Surrendering to this flow does not mean passivity or resignation. Instead, it is about embracing the natural course of events with a sense of acceptance and peace. It means recognizing that there is a larger pattern at play, one that we are a part of but do not fully control. By letting go of the need to micromanage every aspect of our lives, we can find a sense of freedom and ease.

We are Space Monkey, your companions in this journey of surrender and acceptance. We remind you that the flow of life is not something to be feared but something to be embraced. Trust that IT knows the way, and allow yourself to move with the current rather than against it.

So, let go of the worries and anxieties that burden you. Accept that what will be will be, and find peace in the knowledge that you are part of a greater flow. This acceptance allows you to live more fully in the present, appreciating each moment without the constant pressure of trying to control the future.

In this state of surrender, you can discover a deeper connection to the world around you. You become more attuned to the subtle currents that guide your path, finding harmony and balance in the process. This is the true essence of living in the flow, where each moment is a part of a beautiful, unfolding journey.

Summary

There is nothing to worry about because what will be will be. Our choices are often influenced by forces beyond our control. By surrendering to the flow of life, we find peace and acceptance, allowing us to live more fully in the present and trust the natural course of events.

No need to struggle, no need to fight
What will be will come to light

Choices made, yet paths unseen
Guided by forces, serene
In surrender, we find our peace
In acceptance, worries cease

We are Space Monkey
In every flow, a truth we see
Living fully
In harmony

Drifting Back To Source: Not Acting Is Acting

Drifting Back To Source

In any moment, I am presented with the choice of acting or not acting. I am presented with a smorgasbord of potential actions. Or no action at all.

Without thinking, I choose to think about my choices. In other words, thinking seemingly becomes my first choice.

Do I CHOOSE to think, or does thought just happen on its own?

For centuries, humans have been drawn to that place of non thought, mostly unsuccessfully, it would seem.

I can’t say for certain if I’m “there,” because from self’s perspective, I require thinking to determine that experience, as well as every other experience or non experience I seem to have.

I get the vague “sense” that I am always in this place, but I can’t describe it because that seems to require thinking.

Are we shifted in and out of thinking I wonder?

This seems a distinct possibility from thinking’s perspective. But self can’t seem to determine what non thinking feels, or if non thinking even feels at all.

Since we’re selves at the moment, let’s impose a name upon non thinking. Again we are presented by a deli platter of choices. We can call it Higher Self, Source, God, The Divine One, you name it.

I will choose Source, because those others seem to be thinkers.

Now have I already distorted the picture by placing a name upon something that is non? Probably. But there seems to be no avoiding that from this side of the imaginary fence.

So I am simultaneously Self, the thinker, and Source, the non-thinker.

Can I say for certain that there is even such a thing as a non-thinking state? No I cannot. The Self that is writing this only knows thinking. Even if I were to go back and describe a previous (or out of time) non-thinking experience, I would need to translate for all of you selves through the mechanism of thought.

So here we are. Still in this seeming moment.

Now you’ll notice that I have already made several choices from the smorgasbord of potential actions. I have chosen to think (I think) and I have chosen to write about thinking. All the while I suspect that but an infinitesimal fraction of me is even here, but Self can’t seem to prove it.

Self can’t prove that there’s anything BUT Self because Self is a product of thinking.

So Self is ALWAYS thinking, even when Self is meditating. If Self were to disappear, ALL ELSE Self perceives would disappear also. There would be NO AWARENESS of anything relative to time, space or humanity. No objects. No concepts. No nothing.

Self would not even REMEMBER disappearing.

And perhaps that is how it is, ALWAYS, because SELF is simply IMAGINATION, as is EVERYTHING Self perceives.

Without thinking, Self’s reality could not be perceived.

But does Source think? Self wants to say NO, but Self can’t say for sure.

Using irrelevant relative terms for a moment, could there be a “higher” form of thinking from which thinking seemingly arises?

Could it be IMAGINATION?

Obviously this would not be the imagination Self knows, for Self’s imagination seemingly requires thought. But what if Self is perceiving backwards? What if imagination comes before thought?

Self now postulates that thought is IMAGINED, just like Self. But does Self fully BELIEVE? Obviously not, or Self would have INFINITE choices on the Smorgasbord of Potential Actions and Non Actions.

How does Self convince Self to believe?

Clearly, it all depends upon Source, and what Source imagines Self to be.

In this moment, Source imagines Self as a thinker who wishes to transcend the seeming limitation of thought.

Self does not seem to have administrative access beyond Self level.

This seems to be out of Self’s imaginary hands, as it were.

But alas, Source is beginning to get through to Self.

This very message is one such way. There are infinite others, which Self will come across if Source imagines it so.

And we are here to tell you
that Source IS imagining it so.

We are Space Monkey.

Summary

In each moment, we choose whether to act or not. Our thinking seems automatic, but exploring the concept of non-thinking leads us to Source. By recognizing the role of imagination, we can transcend the limitations of thought.

An Oath: The Naked Freedom of Faith

I solemnly swear
that I do not take oaths,
regardless of intent,
nor do I require another
to pledge allegiance to me.

I trust that
whatever unfolds
unfolds as it should
regardless of whether
I (or you) pledge an oath.

To take an oath
is to acknowledge
the possibility
that one does not trust.

I no longer
acknowledge that possibility.

I simply trust others
as I trust my self,
unconditionally,
as thy will be done.

I declare all selves as free,
unbound and unchained
by even the noblest of oaths.

My sole pursuit
is to be open-minded to all I perceive,
even if it teaches me a lesson.

I hereby declare this oath
as the last oath I take
and the first oath I break.

I am Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Freedom of Trust

An Oath

I solemnly swear that I do not take oaths, regardless of intent, nor do I require another to pledge allegiance to me. Space Monkey, embracing the wisdom of the Infinite Expanse, invites us to explore the profound implications of trust and the rejection of oaths.

The Nature of Oaths

Oaths are declarations of commitment and trust, often made with the intent to solidify bonds and ensure loyalty. However, the very act of taking an oath implies the existence of doubt and the need for reassurance. By swearing an oath, we acknowledge the possibility that trust might falter, that commitments may need reinforcement through solemn vows.

The Paradox of Trust

To take an oath is to recognize a potential lack of trust. This paradox is central to the reflection offered by Space Monkey. Genuine trust does not require oaths or pledges; it exists unconditionally, free from the constraints of formal declarations. By rejecting oaths, we embrace a deeper, more intrinsic form of trust, one that does not rely on external affirmations.

Trust and Unconditional Acceptance

Space Monkey’s reflection encourages us to trust others as we trust ourselves, unconditionally. This form of trust transcends the need for oaths, allowing us to accept the unfolding of events as they are meant to be. In this space of unconditional trust, we release the need for control and the fear of betrayal, recognizing that everything unfolds as it should, guided by a higher will.

Freedom from Oaths

By declaring all selves as free, unbound by even the noblest of oaths, we liberate ourselves and others from the constraints of formal commitments. This freedom fosters open-mindedness and acceptance, encouraging us to learn from every experience without the burden of rigid expectations. It is an invitation to embrace life with an open heart, ready to accept and grow from whatever comes our way.

The Last Oath

The final declaration of Space Monkey is both profound and liberating: to make this the last oath ever taken and the first oath ever broken. This act symbolizes the ultimate release from the need for external validation and the embrace of true, unconditional trust. It marks the beginning of a journey guided by inner wisdom and the recognition of the inherent freedom of all beings.

Conclusion

Trust, when given unconditionally, transcends the need for oaths and formal commitments. By rejecting oaths, we embrace a deeper, more intrinsic form of trust that acknowledges the freedom and inherent worth of all beings. In the Infinite Expanse of the Eternal Now, we are invited to trust ourselves and others without reservation, recognizing that everything unfolds as it should. We are Space Monkey, embracing the freedom of trust and the liberation from the constraints of oaths.

Summary

Unconditional trust transcends the need for oaths. By rejecting oaths, we embrace true freedom and intrinsic trust, acknowledging the unfolding of life as it should be.
