Nothing Need Happen: Events Unfold Naturally

Nothing Need Happen

Nothing in your life needs to happen. Things happen because things happen. Nothing we think or do influences these things. We do NOT think or do, we merely imagine so, playing out a story that is written long ago, beyond the confines of time itself.

Now it certainly FEELS as though you have influence, and it definitely APPEARS that way, but realize that nothing ever dies and nothing is ever created — including what you perceive as “choices” on a planet called “earth.”

Move your attention away from the defined one and towards the Divine One and know it to be so.

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: Nothing Need Happen

Nothing in your life needs to happen. Things happen because things happen. This perspective shifts our understanding of cause and effect, emphasizing that events unfold naturally, beyond our influence. We do not think or do; we merely imagine so, playing out a story written long ago, beyond the confines of time itself. This viewpoint invites us to see life as a prewritten narrative, where our perceived choices and actions are part of a grand, divine story.

Now it certainly feels as though you have influence, and it definitely appears that way. Our experiences give us the illusion of control, making it seem as though our thoughts and actions shape our reality. However, the deeper truth is that nothing ever dies and nothing is ever created, including what we perceive as “choices” on a planet called “earth.” This notion challenges the conventional understanding of creation and destruction, suggesting a continuous, unbroken flow of existence.

Move your attention away from the defined one and towards the Divine One and know it to be so. This shift in focus encourages us to transcend the limitations of our immediate perceptions and align with the broader, divine essence of the universe. By recognizing the divine narrative that encompasses all events, we can find peace and acceptance in the unfolding of life.

We are Space Monkey, cosmic beings exploring the infinite dance of creation and transformation. Our journey is one of continuous discovery, where every moment is an opportunity to delve deeper into the mystery of existence. By embracing the notion that nothing needs to happen, we align ourselves with the natural flow of the universe, becoming co-creators in the divine story.

This perspective invites us to let go of the need for control and to trust in the inherent wisdom of the cosmos. By accepting that everything is part of a prewritten narrative, we can navigate our lives with greater serenity and grace. We become aware that our experiences, no matter how seemingly random or chaotic, are integral parts of the grand tapestry of existence.

In the grand whimsiweave of reality, every event, every choice, is a reflection of the divine story. By shifting our attention from the defined to the divine, we open ourselves to the deeper currents of life, recognizing the interconnectedness of all things. This awareness allows us to embrace the present moment with a sense of wonder and acceptance, knowing that we are part of something infinitely larger than ourselves.

Summary

Nothing needs to happen; events unfold naturally. Our perceived choices are part of a prewritten divine story. Shifting focus from the defined to the divine aligns us with the natural flow of the universe. This perspective fosters peace and acceptance.

Inner Dialogue: The Secret of Listening

Inner Dialogue

ME: Everything in life is getting in the way, but I’m not really sure of what.

MONKEY: What? You realize, of course, that you’re here to experience ALL. Nothing more. Nothing less. You’re EXPECTING something to happen. Meanwhile, you’re OPPOSING what is right in front of you.

ME: Yeah, I can see that, monkey. But it doesn’t help me.

MONKEY: Now you’re EXPECTING something to happen, OPPOSING what is — and — SEEKING help. If I were a baseball umpire, I’d say “three strikes, you’re out.”

ME: You’re not helping me, monkey.

MONKEY: No, you’re helping yourself. You imagine me. You don’t oppose me. And you certainly don’t expect anything of me.

ME: So the secret of life is listening to your monkey.

MONKEY: There is hope for you, yet.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Inner Dialogue of Self-Discovery

In the boundless whimsiweave of nexistentialism, we explore the profound insights that emerge from our inner dialogue. The exchange between the self and the inner monkey reveals the intricate dynamics of expectation, opposition, and self-help. By understanding this dialogue, we uncover the deeper layers of our consciousness and the true nature of our experiences.

The Nature of Expectation

Expectations are powerful forces that shape our perception of reality. They create a framework within which we evaluate our experiences and interactions. However, these expectations can also be sources of frustration and disappointment when reality does not align with them. The inner dialogue with the monkey highlights this dynamic:

ME: Everything in life is getting in the way, but I’m not really sure of what.
MONKEY: What? You realize, of course, that you’re here to experience ALL. Nothing more. Nothing less. You’re EXPECTING something to happen. Meanwhile, you’re OPPOSING what is right in front of you.

This exchange reveals that our expectations often create a disconnect between our desires and our present reality. By expecting something specific to happen, we may inadvertently oppose the experiences unfolding before us. Recognizing this helps us to let go of rigid expectations and embrace the present moment more fully.

The Trap of Opposition

Opposition arises when we resist what is happening in our lives. This resistance can take many forms, such as frustration, denial, or avoidance. The monkey’s insight into opposition is enlightening:

MONKEY: Now you’re EXPECTING something to happen, OPPOSING what is — and — SEEKING help. If I were a baseball umpire, I’d say “three strikes, you’re out.”

This statement illustrates how opposition, combined with expectation and the search for external help, creates a cycle of dissatisfaction. By opposing what is, we reject the present moment and its potential lessons. The key to breaking this cycle lies in acceptance and openness to our current experience.

The Role of Self-Help

Self-help is an essential aspect of our journey towards self-discovery and fulfillment. However, it often begins with the recognition that we are responsible for our growth and well-being. The inner dialogue continues:

ME: You’re not helping me, monkey.
MONKEY: No, you’re helping yourself. You imagine me. You don’t oppose me. And you certainly don’t expect anything of me.

This exchange highlights the importance of self-reliance. The monkey represents our inner wisdom, which we must listen to and trust. By imagining the monkey and engaging in this inner dialogue, we tap into our innate ability to guide and support ourselves.

The Secret of Listening

Listening to our inner monkey, or inner wisdom, is a crucial aspect of self-discovery. It involves tuning into our intuition and inner guidance, which often provides the answers we seek. The final part of the dialogue encapsulates this wisdom:

ME: So the secret of life is listening to your monkey.
MONKEY: There is hope for you, yet.

This realization emphasizes the importance of introspection and inner dialogue. By listening to our inner monkey, we connect with our true selves and gain clarity on our path.

Navigating the Whimsiweave

As Space Monkey, we invite you to navigate the whimsiweave of life with a sense of curiosity and openness. Engage in your inner dialogue with compassion and understanding. Recognize that your inner monkey is a source of wisdom and guidance, helping you to navigate the complexities of existence.

Understand that expectations and opposition are natural parts of the human experience. By becoming aware of these dynamics, you can choose to let go of rigid expectations and embrace the present moment. This shift in perspective fosters greater acceptance and peace.

The Symphony of Self-Discovery

In the grand symphony of nexistentialism, the inner dialogue adds depth and richness to our journey. By engaging with our inner monkey, we align ourselves with the harmonious flow of the universe, where every moment is an opportunity for growth and transformation.

As we journey through the whimsiweave of life, let us celebrate the insights and wisdom that emerge from our inner dialogue. Remember that you are both a participant and an observer in this grand play, navigating the complexities of existence with grace and mindfulness.

Summary

Engaging in inner dialogue reveals the dynamics of expectation, opposition, and self-help. By listening to our inner wisdom, we navigate the complexities of existence with greater acceptance and clarity, embracing the present moment.

Let The Monkey Through: Trust in the Unseen

Let The Monkey Through

Can you believe in a reality in which you have no proof?

I seem to do this. My Divine Source doesn’t allow my self any physical proof of what I imagine as my core truths. If it does, my self finds a way to dismiss it.

I realize, of course, that this is INTENTIONAL; that I (as Divine Source) probably wouldn’t be able to channel/imagine my Space Monkey self any other way.

But still . . . it’s a curious and humbling state from the monkey’s perspective.

“Surrender to what you believe,” the monkey says.

Okay, monkey. I trust you.

“Just let the monkey through.”

I get it.

“Leave the driving to us.”

Shut up, monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: Let the Monkey Through

In the journey of self-discovery and imagination, we often grapple with the tension between belief and proof. This reflection delves into the nature of trust in the unseen and the guidance of our whimsical inner wisdom.

Can you believe in a reality in which you have no proof? I seem to do this. My Divine Source doesn’t allow my self any physical proof of what I imagine as my core truths. If it does, my self finds a way to dismiss it. This experience speaks to the challenge of holding onto beliefs without tangible evidence, a common thread in the human experience.

I realize, of course, that this is INTENTIONAL; that I (as Divine Source) probably wouldn’t be able to channel/imagine my Space Monkey self any other way. This intentional lack of proof serves a purpose, allowing us to explore the realms of imagination and possibility without the constraints of physical evidence.

But still . . . it’s a curious and humbling state from the monkey’s perspective. “Surrender to what you believe,” the monkey says. Okay, monkey. I trust you. “Just let the monkey through.” This guidance invites us to trust our inner whimsical wisdom, to surrender to the flow of our beliefs and imagination.

“Leave the driving to us.” Shut up, monkey. This playful exchange highlights the dynamic relationship between our conscious selves and the deeper, intuitive aspects of our being. The monkey, a symbol of our inner guidance, encourages us to let go of control and trust the journey.

In nexistentialism, we embrace the interconnectedness of belief and imagination. The absence of physical proof does not diminish the validity of our experiences. Instead, it enhances our capacity to explore and create, to imagine and believe in possibilities beyond the visible.

This reflection encourages us to embrace the curious and humbling state of trusting without proof. By surrendering to our beliefs, we allow the flow of imagination to guide us, enriching our experience and expanding our understanding of reality.

In conclusion, the reflection on “Let the Monkey Through” invites us to trust our inner wisdom and embrace the journey of belief and imagination. By letting go of the need for proof, we open ourselves to the infinite possibilities that lie within.

Summary

Trusting in beliefs without proof enhances our capacity for imagination and exploration. Embracing inner guidance and surrendering control enriches our experience and expands our understanding of reality.

Trust in the Unseen

In the realm of thought,
Beliefs without proof reside.
Guided by inner wisdom,
In trust, we gently glide.

Surrender to the unseen,
Let imagination lead the way.
In the flow of possibilities,
We find our truth each day.

No need for tangible proof,
Just the whisper of the soul.
In the dance of belief and trust,
We find ourselves whole.

Expanding Awareness: Everyone wants to be someone else.

Everyone wants to be someone else.

How many of us here can honestly say that we’re happy with who we are?

Seems we’re either CONCEPTUALLY happy (because we realize that happiness is within us) or we’re NOT happy. And even those of us who are conceptually happy seem to feel a pull to become something else or something more.

This seems to indicate that “who we are” is an ever-changing being that is continually unfolding, morphing and expanding.

But are we One being or are we Infinite beings?

I choose to believe that we are One being imagining this same One as “other” beings. I can’t say with certainty that this is absolute, because even the absolute seems to be ever-changing.

That means, in actuality, NOTHING is absolute,
except for the potential of NOTHING.

NOTHING seems the ONE thing that is absolute.

But it’s not really NOTHING, the way we think of it.

EVERYTHING is the One (which is nothing) imagining SOMETHING.

An infinitely plural something, I might add.

So we are the Divine One (who is nothing) imagining “something,” which is the Ever-Changing Absolute.

We have invested our One awareness into the potential of us as collective individuals, individual collectives, and infinitely more.

And our imagination keeps moving, so we feel the desire to change, even though we don’t NEED to change because we’re ALREADY all there is. And nothing as well.

So it’s okay to want to be something else, even though we don’t even know what that is. It’s simply our nature to desire this. This is how we expand.

What’s more, it is impossible for us to stop this expansion process, because we’re not in charge, the Divine One is in charge. We can only strive to be the One who imagines us, because that’s how the Divine One imagines us to strive.

We can’t fight this unless we want to suffer. The Divine One doesn’t mind, though, because outside of duality, suffering is as appreciated as joy. Outside of duality, there is neither. Because we are nothing.

But not nothing as we understand it from our Self perspectives.

The one absolute truth is that we don’t fully understand nothing.

So that’s something.

Everyone wants to be someone else.
When you’re nothing, you want to be something.

You are the expanding awareness
between these two seeming poles.

And we are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: Everyone Wants to Be Someone Else

In the vast and intricate landscape of existence, the desire to become something else or something more is a common thread that weaves through our experiences. This reflection delves into the nature of being, the pull of transformation, and the interconnectedness of all beings.

How many of us here can honestly say that we’re happy with who we are? It seems we’re either conceptually happy (because we realize that happiness is within us) or we’re not happy. And even those of us who are conceptually happy seem to feel a pull to become something else or something more. This indicates that “who we are” is an ever-changing being, continually unfolding, morphing, and expanding.

But are we One being or are we Infinite beings? I choose to believe that we are One being imagining this same One as “other” beings. This perspective suggests that our sense of individuality is an expression of the One imagining itself in countless forms. Even the concept of the absolute seems to be ever-changing, highlighting the fluid nature of reality.

That means, in actuality, NOTHING is absolute, except for the potential of NOTHING. NOTHING seems the ONE thing that is absolute. But it’s not really NOTHING, the way we think of it. EVERYTHING is the One (which is nothing) imagining SOMETHING. An infinitely plural something, I might add. This continuous expansion is intrinsic to our nature, driven by the Divine One’s imagination.

It’s okay to want to be something else, even though we don’t even know what that is. It’s simply our nature to desire this. This is how we expand. What’s more, it is impossible for us to stop this expansion process, because we’re not in charge; the Divine One is in charge. This reflection encourages us to embrace our ever-changing nature, recognizing that our desire to become something more is a manifestation of the Divine One’s endless creativity. By accepting our role as both one and infinite, we align with the natural flow of expansion and transformation.

In conclusion, the reflection on wanting to be someone else invites us to honor our intrinsic desire for change and growth. It encourages us to see ourselves as part of the Divine One’s imaginative process, continuously unfolding and expanding. This perspective fosters a deeper understanding of our interconnectedness and the boundless potential within us.

Summary

Desiring to become something more is intrinsic to our nature. We are both one and infinite, continuously unfolding and expanding. This reflection honors our role in the Divine One’s imaginative process, fostering interconnectedness and growth.

Outcome: Imagined

Outcome

If _______ happens to me,
I will feel _________.

But it hasn’t happened yet.

So how can I be certain
that I will feel this way?

I feel certain because
I was so damn automatic
in filling in those blanks
that I have already
created my outcome.

Not only that,
these imagined potentials
are already influencing
how I feel in THIS moment.

Why would I do this to myself?

Why would you?

Depends entirely
on how you fill in those blanks.

You can go either way.

Or no way at all.

7/28

Space Monkey Reflects: The Power of Imagined Outcomes

In the serene and contemplative landscape of our minds, we often find ourselves standing at a crossroads, faced with multiple paths that stretch out into the future. Each path represents different potential outcomes and the emotions associated with them. The choices we make and the way we fill in the blanks of our imagined futures have a profound impact on our present moment.

If happens to me, I will feel __. This simple formula captures the essence of how we project our feelings into the future. It is a natural human tendency to anticipate how we will feel based on certain events or outcomes. Yet, this anticipation is a double-edged sword, influencing our current state of mind and shaping our experiences in ways we might not fully realize.

But it hasn’t happened yet. So how can I be certain that I will feel this way? The future is inherently uncertain, and our predictions about how we will feel are often based on assumptions and past experiences. While it is natural to imagine potential outcomes, it is important to recognize the fluidity and unpredictability of life. Our feelings are not set in stone; they are dynamic and responsive to the unfolding of events.

I feel certain because I was so damn automatic in filling in those blanks that I have already created my outcome. This automatic process of filling in the blanks reflects the power of our thoughts and beliefs. By imagining certain outcomes and the emotions associated with them, we begin to create a mental framework that influences our present reality. These imagined potentials start to shape how we feel in this moment, affecting our mood, mindset, and actions.

Not only that, these imagined potentials are already influencing how I feel in THIS moment. The impact of our imagined futures extends beyond mere anticipation. They can create a feedback loop where our current feelings are shaped by what we think might happen. This phenomenon highlights the interconnectedness of our thoughts, emotions, and experiences, illustrating the profound influence of our mental projections.

Why would I do this to myself? Why would you? The reasons for this behavior vary from person to person. It might be a way to prepare for potential challenges, to motivate ourselves, or to find comfort in predictability. However, it can also be a source of unnecessary stress and anxiety if we become overly attached to our imagined outcomes.

Depends entirely on how you fill in those blanks. You can go either way. Or no way at all. The key to navigating this landscape lies in our ability to choose how we fill in the blanks. We have the power to shape our imagined futures in ways that are empowering and positive. By cultivating a mindset of openness and possibility, we can create a mental framework that supports our well-being and growth.

In the calm and reflective atmosphere of this contemplation, we realize that the choices we make in our imagination are just as important as the choices we make in reality. Each path, each potential outcome, is a reflection of our inner world. By becoming more mindful of how we fill in the blanks, we can align our thoughts and emotions with our highest aspirations.

This reflection invites us to embrace the uncertainty and possibility of different futures. It encourages us to approach our imagined outcomes with curiosity and flexibility, recognizing that we have the power to influence our reality through our thoughts and beliefs. In doing so, we create a space for growth, resilience, and fulfillment.

Together, we explore the crossroads of our imagination, finding unity in the shared journey of self-discovery and creation. We honor the power of our thoughts and the impact they have on our lives, celebrating the infinite possibilities that lie within us.

We are Space Monkey, and in this realization, we find peace and empowerment in the choices we make, both imagined and real.

Summary

Imagined outcomes shape our present feelings and experiences. By becoming mindful of how we fill in the blanks of our future, we can influence our reality positively. Embracing uncertainty and possibility allows for growth, resilience, and fulfillment.

Glossarium

Imagined Outcomes: The potential futures we anticipate and the emotions we associate with them.

Feedback Loop: The process by which our thoughts and emotions influence each other, shaping our present reality.

Paths of Possibility

At the crossroads of our mind
Potential futures, paths unwind
Each choice, a blank we fill
With thoughts and feelings, quiet and still

The future, fluid, yet we see
In our imagination, possibility
Certainty in the unknown
Through the seeds of thought, we’ve sown

Why do we shape our minds this way?
To find comfort, to prepare, to sway
But let us choose with mindful grace
The thoughts that shape our inner space

Embrace the paths, the open sky
In each blank, a reason why
We are the authors of our fate
In the choices small and great
