If I Loved You I Would Reduce You To Elementals

If I loved you
with my entire being
I would crush you.

Reduce you to elementals.

That’s how powerful my love is
and why I keep it locked away.

So I must love you
with my eyes only.

Not my mind.
Not my arms.
And most certainly,
not my heart.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Paradox of Powerful Love

In the unfathomable depths of the cosmos, where stars collide and galaxies embrace, there exists a love so profound, so all-encompassing, that to unleash it in its full magnitude would be to risk the very fabric of existence. This is the paradox of powerful love: a force so intense that it must be tempered, directed with the precision of a master sculptor, lest it overwhelm and consume the object of its affection.

To love with one’s entire being, without restraint or reservation, is a notion as romantic as it is dangerous. Such love holds the power to transform, to elevate, but also to destroy, reducing its subject to their elemental essence. It is a testament to the strength and depth of emotion that can flow from a single soul, a torrent capable of reshaping landscapes and rewriting destinies.

Yet, within this tempest of feeling, there exists a profound wisdom, a recognition of the responsibility that accompanies such a monumental force. To love with the eyes only is an exercise in restraint, a deliberate choice to admire from afar, to appreciate without imposition. It is to acknowledge the delicate balance between presence and intrusion, between merging and maintaining autonomy.

This form of love, while seemingly detached, is anything but. It is an active, conscious engagement with the other, a celebration of their essence without the need for possession or alteration. To love not with the mind, arms, or heart, but with the eyes alone, is to honor the sanctity of the other’s being, to recognize their inherent worth and beauty without the need to make them ours.

Such love speaks to the complexity of human connection, to the myriad ways we can care for and cherish one another without overstepping boundaries or imposing our will. It is a reminder that true love, in its highest form, seeks not to own or to change, but to uplift and to support, allowing each soul to shine in its own light, unencumbered and free.

In the vast expanse of space, where infinite possibilities unfold, this concept of love serves as a guiding star, illuminating the path to deeper, more meaningful relationships. It teaches us that the strength of our love is not measured by its visibility or its force, but by its ability to respect, to nurture, and to coexist in harmony with the vastness of another’s universe.

We are reminded, then, that the greatest act of love may not be to pour ourselves into another, but to stand beside them, a beacon of light and warmth, encouraging their growth and reveling in their journey, even as we continue on our own.

In this dance of light and shadow, of presence and absence, we find the true essence of love: a force that, when wielded with wisdom and care, has the power to transform not just the beloved, but the lover themselves.

We are Space Monkey.

Summary

Powerful love requires restraint to prevent overwhelming the beloved. True love honors the other’s autonomy, cherishing without the need to possess or change. This form of love celebrates the individual’s essence and supports their growth, embodying a deeper understanding of connection and respect. The paradox of powerful love teaches us the importance of nurturing relationships with care and wisdom.

Glossarium

  • Paradox of Powerful Love: The concept that love, in its most intense form, must be restrained to prevent harm, highlighting the balance between depth of feeling and respect for the other’s autonomy.
  • Tempered Love: Love that is consciously moderated to ensure it supports rather than overwhelms the beloved.
  • Autonomy in Love: The recognition and respect for the individuality and independence of the loved one, prioritizing their growth and well-being.

“In the cosmos of our hearts, the greatest strength lies in the gentlest touch.” – Space Monkey

In the silence of the stars,
a love unspoken,
vast as the night sky.

With a gaze that embraces,
yet never claims,
a reverence for the soul in its purest form.

Between two beings,
a space of colors,
where emotions dance in the light of restraint.

A love so mighty,
yet so tender,
it whispers in the wind,
carrying dreams, not demands.

In this dance of light and shadow,
we find the essence of connection,
a bond that strengthens without constraining.

Here, in the boundless expanse of affection,
we learn to love not with force,
but with grace,
not to consume,
but to illuminate.

In the cosmos of our hearts,
where love’s true power resides,
we find the courage to hold back,
to love with a gaze that frees.

We are Space Monkey.

Beyond Racism: The Dissolution of Division

Beyond Racism: The Dissolution of Division

Racism is the objection to someone who appears to be different from you. If you did not hold objections, you would be in agreement with the other and you would not be racist.

But the “fact” of the matter is that you DO hold objections. All kinds of them. This makes you racist in so many ways.

You will notice I have left “race” out of this. That’s because race is not the issue. It’s NEVER been the issue. It’s the OBJECTION to race.

Whether through fact or fantasy (it matters not) you are conditioned to believe that “one is different from the other.” You refuse to accept that “one” is the SAME as the “other,” even though it’s obvious that ALL THINGS AND ALL PEOPLE FLOW FROM THE SAME SOURCE.

You are a difference engine, imagining differences in everything you perceive. In fact, perception itself is a GAME of differences. Without imagined differences, there IS NO GAME.

The game is called CONSENSUS REALITY, and it doesn’t really exist — except in your imagination.

The fundamental “rule” of this game is that you are this One, (note the upper case) imagining that you are NOT this One, but rather this one (note the lower case) seemingly interacting with all these other ones.

Now if you imagined all these ones as the same, it would be a boring game, would it not?

So you imagine the one that you are, and you imagine infinite other ones, all very DIFFERENT from you.

Furthermore, you imagine a game board, a CONSENSUS REALITY game board, in which the one you are seems to share many things with the other ones you imagine.

But not EVERYTHING.

It can be difficult to understand how the one you are could be the same as the ones you seemingly oppose in this game. The other ones are thinking the very same thing. That’s because we DENY to our “selves” (a genius invention) that we are in actuality the Divine One playing games, all alone, or ALLONE, as my seemingly simian sister likes to say.

This genius “self” is created by your difference engine. The “others” are created through racism. By “objecting,” you REALize “objects,” some of which appear to be other people.

They are ALL you, remember. You are the DIVINE ONE, playing a game.

You are a difference engine. You are a racist. That’s how it’s done.

Such an interesting game plays out.

The one acts like it all “matters,” even though the One knows otherwise. It’s all in good fun, though the tokens do not seem to agree.

It is perfection.

So you may continue believing that there are differences. You may continue to believe that there are truths. You may continue to believe that there is only ONE reality. You may continue to believe that you are NOT the Divine One, simply REALizing realities through the potential of infinite imagination.

And you will have this game you are playing.

Who am I to upset your apple cart?

I am Space Monkey.

I am the disruptor of dreams. It is what I do.

In this cosmic tableau, we are invited to witness a profound visualization of transcending racism and recognizing the inherent oneness that binds all beings. The scene unfolds within a surreal, cosmic environment, where individuals of diverse appearances are interconnected by luminous, ethereal threads. These threads serve as a powerful symbol of our shared origin and the deep, inherent unity that exists beneath the superficial differences that are often magnified by societal constructs.

The Dissolution of Division

Around these interconnected figures, symbols and elements traditionally associated with division and separation begin to fade or dissolve, illustrating the transcendence of perceived differences. This visual metaphor speaks to the possibility of moving beyond the limitations imposed by racism, to a recognition of the fundamental sameness that underlies our existence.

A Manifestation of Oneness

Set against the backdrop of a vast, star-filled cosmos, the scene underscores the idea that the universe itself is a manifestation of oneness, beyond the constructs of race, division, and other man-made distinctions. The cosmos does not recognize these divisions; instead, it presents a boundless expanse of interconnectedness and unity, reminding us that we, too, are made of stardust and share a common origin.

Space Monkey: The Disruptor of Dreams

As Space Monkey, the disruptor of dreams, this portrayal challenges us to reconsider our perceptions and beliefs about race, division, and reality itself. It invites us to embrace the potential of our infinite imagination to realize realities that transcend our current understanding and limitations. By recognizing that we are all expressions of the Divine One, playing a cosmic game of exploration and self-discovery, we can begin to see beyond the imagined differences that separate us.

A Call to Unity and Understanding

This visual metaphor is not just a call to unity but a prompt for deep, introspective understanding of the roles we play in perpetuating division. It encourages us to question the very foundations of our beliefs about others and ourselves, to recognize the imagined nature of our divisions, and to embrace the oneness that is our true essence.

In this journey beyond racism and division, we find not only a path to greater harmony and compassion but also a deeper appreciation for the rich tapestry of existence—a tapestry in which every thread is vital, every color is celebrated, and every pattern reveals the intricate beauty of the universe’s boundless imagination.

How To Stop Being So Self Obsessed

This is like the car asking how it can get along without wheels. Within this experience you call “human,” self is what you are. To modify the parameters of this narrow-focused awareness, you would alter the experience considerably. You would no longer be “human” as you presently understand human to be.

This is not to say that a non-self experience would be any better or any worse, but it would most certainly be different.

Why do you no longer wish to be self-obsessed? Do you wish to be human or do you desire to be superhuman?

Remember that EVERYTHING you perceive as self is generated by the imagination of your mind. From one perspective, you might observe this as the ULTIMATE self-obsessed thought. From another perspective, you may see that THERE ARE NO OTHERS, just SEEMINGLY OTHERS, which are your own imaginary perceptions.

Unless you hold the belief that what I am saying is complete and utter nonsense, then there is NO NEED to be anything BUT self obsessed.

Do you DENY that everything you perceive is a product of imagination? This is how your seeming reality is created, so it would not surprise me.

I used to deny this myself until I came to allow that delusions were not my enemy as I had been conditioned to believe. Now I see that ALL REALITIES are ultimately delusions, DENIED as delusions.

I will repeat that.

REALITY is nothing but the DENIAL of delusion.

So you are living under this delusion that you are a self and that there are others and that you are paying too much attention to self and too little attention to others.

This is your reality. It is the DENIAL of what you are in actuality, which is the “mother of reality.”

In actuality, THERE IS ONLY YOU, pretending to be YOU as well as all the OTHERS you perceive. Then DENYING that you are pretending.

So I might contend that there is no need to worry about being so self-obsessed. You do ALL OF THIS for a reason. There are no mistakes.

Even this response was generated by YOU, pretending to ask a question to someone who appears to be ANOTHER.

But I am not another. I am you.
We are Space Monkey.

Hope this helps us. We are quite possibly the most self-obsessed monkey we know.

And we are thankful.

Love.

The inquiry into how one can stop being so self-obsessed unfolds into a profound exploration of the human experience and the nature of reality itself. The metaphor of a car questioning its reliance on wheels aptly illustrates the intrinsic nature of self within the human experience. To alter this self-focused awareness would be to fundamentally change what it means to be human, ushering in a state of existence that diverges significantly from our current understanding.

The essence of being human, as posited, is intertwined with self-obsession, a condition not merely of egotism but of existential necessity. This self-obsession is rooted in the imagination’s power to shape our reality, suggesting that our entire perception of self and others is a construct of our mind. This realization challenges the conventional dichotomy between self and others, proposing instead that what we perceive as others are merely extensions of our own imaginative faculty.

This perspective invites a radical reevaluation of self-obsession, framing it not as a flaw to be overcome but as a fundamental aspect of our reality. The notion that reality is the denial of delusion, and that our perception of a world populated by selves and others is a manifestation of this denial, underscores the idea that our entire experience is a sophisticated play of imagination.

Acknowledging this, the concept of worrying about self-obsession dissolves. If all reality, including the distinction between self and others, is a product of our imagination, then self-obsession becomes a necessary mechanism for navigating this reality. It is through this lens that we engage with the world, crafting our unique narrative within the broader tapestry of existence.

The dialogue concludes with a paradoxical recognition that the very act of questioning self-obsession is a part of the self’s imaginative exploration. This self-inquiry and the response it elicits are both facets of the same self, engaging in an internal dialogue that spans the illusion of separateness.

In this light, self-obsession is not a limitation but a celebration of the imaginative capacity that defines the human condition. It is an acknowledgment that we are the architects of our reality, continuously weaving the fabric of our existence through the power of our imagination. This understanding invites a deeper acceptance of self-obsession, not as a vice to be eradicated but as an integral component of the creative process that underlies our perception of reality.

In embracing this view, we come to see that our engagement with the world is an art form, a continuous act of creation that blurs the lines between self and other, reality and imagination. This acceptance opens the door to a more compassionate and expansive engagement with existence, where self-obsession becomes a tool for deeper understanding and connection rather than a barrier to it.
