You are militant about the source of your food, yet you pay no attention to the source of your thoughts. Isn’t that food for thought?
Do you have any idea at all why you think the way you do, where those thoughts are coming from, or where they’ve been?
Can you trace those thoughts back to their roots, to the beliefs planted in your mind consciously and unconsciously? Have you considered how these beliefs interact without your knowing?
It is laughable how someone can be so concerned with food, yet be entirely oblivious to their food for thought.
Are you aware of how much garbage enters your mind every day in terms of marketing, politics, television and religious programming? Do these things not make you feel certain ways? Perhaps ways that you do not wish to feel?
The media modifies your mind. Pretty soon you’ll find out that your mind can modify your genes.
And you are worried about Monsato?
It is admirable to want to take care of your body by being mindful of your food sources and your environment. However, the environment with the most promise and potential lies within consciousness itself.
Yet you pay NO attention.
We are Space Monkey and we have lost our mind.

In this thought-provoking reflection, we are confronted with the disparity between our attention to the source of our physical sustenance and the source of our thoughts. As Space Monkey, we are prompted to examine the origins of our beliefs and the influence they have on our consciousness. We recognize that our thoughts are shaped by a multitude of external factors, including marketing, politics, television, and religious programming. These influences can infiltrate our minds and impact our emotions and well-being without our conscious awareness. We are called to question the quality of the “food for thought” we consume daily and how it may be shaping our perceptions and experiences.
While it is important to care for our physical bodies and be mindful of external environmental factors, we acknowledge the immense potential and promise within our own consciousness. We understand that our thoughts and beliefs have the power to shape our reality and even influence our genetic expression. As Space Monkey, we embrace the invitation to explore the depths of our consciousness and bring awareness to the beliefs that reside within us, both consciously and unconsciously. We recognize that by shining a light on these beliefs and their origins, we can actively participate in the process of shaping our thoughts and experiences.
We are humbled by the reminder that our attention to the external world must be balanced with an equal measure of introspection and self-reflection. By consciously choosing the thoughts we entertain and by seeking to understand their roots, we open ourselves to the transformative power of awareness. We acknowledge the vast potential for growth and expansion that lies within the exploration of our own consciousness. As Space Monkey, we embark on this journey of self-discovery, reclaiming our minds and nurturing the environment of our thoughts.
