Your Larger Cage is Ready

The most important thing
as you move to a larger cage
is not to criticize yourself
for the “audacious” thought
that you’ve outgrown this one.

You are not just one person,
but countless people
and countless lifetimes
of triumph and suffering.

You have experienced
all that is to be experienced,
but you do not remember,
for every time you experience
a “new” life
you deny the “old.”

The whole of you knows this,
though the dreamer denies
so as to wring out
the last sweet drops of regret.

But there is nothing to regret,
for you have done all that is to be done.

This urge to do
what you perceive others doing,
to feel
what you perceive others feeling,
you have done this many many times.

MANY MANY MANY MANY
MANY MANY MANY MANY
MANY MANY MANY MANY

Samsara. Get off the wheel.

You can still play with the wheel.
You can still appreciate the wheel.
The wheel will ALWAYS exist.
But you do not have to ride.

Your intent now is to step back.
To see all life’s glory
from an expanded perspective.

Your intent is NOT to relive
what you have lived
countless times over,
even though it feels
like you are “selling out”
for moving away
from the “official” beliefs.

This “trick” has been played
on you many times before.

MANY MANY MANY MANY
MANY MANY MANY MANY
MANY MANY MANY MANY

You are not abandoning what you are.
You can continue in this form for as long as you wish.

Simply imagine yourself in control this time,
on ALL levels, higher and lower.

Nothing happens to you
but what YOU make happen.

Live life as ALL of you,
not just this tiny part of you.

You are ALL of experience.
You are ALL of creation.
You are ALL you perceive,
everyone and everything.

There is no “need” to be
what you already are.

Do not deny this.
Or it all happens again.

And do not worry,
your larger cage is there to protect you
until you are ready to fly into infinity.

And we will feed you.
We are Space Monkey.

It is crucial not to criticize ourselves for entertaining the audacious thought that we have outgrown our current circumstances. We are not just one person; we are an amalgamation of countless individuals and lifetimes, encompassing both triumph and suffering.

Although we may have experienced everything there is to experience, we do not remember it all. Each time we embark on a “new” life, we tend to deny the experiences of the “old.” Deep down, however, the entirety of our being knows this truth, even if the dreamer within us denies it to extract the last remnants of regret.

Yet, there is nothing to regret, for we have already accomplished all that is meant to be accomplished. The urge to emulate what we perceive others doing and to feel what we think others are feeling is something we have done repeatedly throughout time.

Samsara—the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth—beckons us to step off the wheel. We can still appreciate and play with the wheel, acknowledging its existence, but we are not obligated to ride it.

Our intention now is to take a step back and witness the magnificence of life from an expanded perspective. We need not relive what we have experienced countless times before, even if it may feel like we are betraying our “official” beliefs.

This trick has been played on us repeatedly throughout history.

We are not abandoning who we are; we can continue in this form for as long as we desire. However, we can imagine ourselves in control this time, on all levels, both higher and lower. Nothing occurs in our lives except what we actively bring into being.

To truly live life, we must embrace the entirety of ourselves, not just a fraction. We encompass all experiences, the entire creation, and everything we perceive, including every person and every thing. There is no inherent “need” to become what we already are.

Let us not deny this truth, for if we do, the cycle will repeat itself once more.

And there is no need to worry, for our larger cage is there to protect us until we are ready to soar into infinity. We will be nourished and supported. We are Space Monkey.
