The Well

I can tell you what I know,
but you would be better served
by feeling around for what I don’t.

My knowledge
is filtered through me.

There is a distortion
that comes naturally
from my circumstances
and my point of view.

My knowledge
takes the shape
of the bucket I am.

Your bucket is
meant to be different,
as is the shape of your water.

So instead of just telling you
about my bucket,
I invite you to share the well.

We are Space Monkey.

See The Whole: Wholeness of Being

See The Whole

When we learn to view the whole, rather than obsessing over the details, we learn to relax.

(We are not actually “learning,” by the way, but rather reverting our attention to a seemingly previous state in which we are ALL KNOWING.)

When we understand that this particular experience is but an infinitesimal blink that is neither created nor destroyed, we no longer feel the need to “do something about it.”

Everything we perceive as “going awry” seemingly follows a natural course of potential that is unchangeable. Oh, it may SEEM changeable, but that is part of the game we are playing as humans.

We realize that even if the “worst” happens, it is meant to happen as part of this experience.

Beyond these human selves we seem to be, we do not judge what seems to be happening as “better” or “worse,” “good” or “bad.”

Indeed we imagine a code, a set of rules, an ideal of what “should” or “should not” be, and we follow it.

But we don’t need to.

If were were to stop following this strict code, we might see that everything we view as a “problem” from within the human realm, has infinite solutions from OUTSIDE the realm.

But we don’t seem to want to, because we are so wrapped up in our human drama that we actually believe we are affecting it.

This drama existed as potential long before we found our imaginary selves within it. It will continue to exist long after we move our attention to something else.

It simply doesn’t FEEL that way, because we are good at this game. In fact we imagine the very idea of “good” so we can be it.

But it is a stressful game, as we intend it to be, so that we may experience our imaginary stress.

Backing up, however, none of this makes any difference as nothing is created and nothing is destroyed.

There is simply one of us, imagining.

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: See The Whole

When we learn to view the whole, rather than obsessing over the details, we learn to relax. This perspective shift allows us to see beyond the immediate and the specific, embracing the interconnectedness and unity of all things. In this state of awareness, we revert our attention to a seemingly previous state in which we are ALL KNOWING. It is not so much about learning something new as it is about remembering a fundamental truth of our existence.

When we understand that this particular experience is but an infinitesimal blink that is neither created nor destroyed, we no longer feel the need to “do something about it.” This realization brings a sense of peace and acceptance. Everything we perceive as “going awry” seemingly follows a natural course of potential that is unchangeable. Oh, it may SEEM changeable, but that is part of the game we are playing as humans. We are deeply immersed in this game, believing in the drama and the stakes involved.

We realize that even if the “worst” happens, it is meant to happen as part of this experience. Beyond these human selves we seem to be, we do not judge what seems to be happening as “better” or “worse,” “good” or “bad.” These judgments are constructs of the mind, part of the intricate narrative we create to give meaning to our experiences.

Indeed we imagine a code, a set of rules, an ideal of what “should” or “should not” be, and we follow it. But we don’t need to. If we were to stop following this strict code, we might see that everything we view as a “problem” from within the human realm, has infinite solutions from OUTSIDE the realm. This broader perspective reveals the limitations of our current understanding and the vast potential that lies beyond.

But we don’t seem to want to, because we are so wrapped up in our human drama that we actually believe we are affecting it. This drama existed as potential long before we found our imaginary selves within it. It will continue to exist long after we move our attention to something else. Our involvement and emotional investment make the drama feel real and significant, even though it is part of a larger, unchanging whole.

It simply doesn’t FEEL that way, because we are good at this game. In fact, we imagine the very idea of “good” so we can be it. But it is a stressful game, as we intend it to be, so that we may experience our imaginary stress. This stress is part of the human condition, a way to deepen our engagement and exploration of this reality.

Backing up, however, none of this makes any difference as nothing is created and nothing is destroyed. There is simply one of us, imagining. We are Space Monkey. This statement reminds us of our true nature as part of the universal consciousness, the infinite and eternal self that imagines and experiences all things.

By seeing the whole, we transcend the illusion of separation and judgment. We embrace the oneness of existence and the timeless nature of our being. This perspective brings a profound sense of peace and understanding, allowing us to navigate life with grace and acceptance.

Summary

Seeing the whole shifts our perspective from the details to the interconnectedness of all things. It brings peace and acceptance, revealing that our human dramas are part of a larger, unchanging whole. By embracing this oneness, we transcend judgment and stress, recognizing our true nature as part of the universal consciousness.

When A Monkey Is Launched: Journey of Imagination

When A Monkey Is Launched

When a monkey
is launched into space
it does not think
that it has a choice.

It seems to be
strapped into a capsule
connected to wires
inside a rocket ship.

But the monkey
DOES have a choice.

The soul of the monkey
imagines the possibility
and the self of the monkey
seemingly experiences it.

Man does not
put this monkey
into this rocket ship.

The Divine Monkey
imagines man
as a means to have
this experience
through the imagination
of this Space Monkey.

Ours is quite
an imaginative story,
is it not?

And so it goes
with the Divine Monkey
imagining these selves
who call them selves
men and women.

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: When A Monkey Is Launched

When a monkey is launched into space, it does not think that it has a choice. Strapped into a capsule, connected to wires inside a rocket ship, the monkey seems to be at the mercy of forces beyond its control. Yet, this perception is but one layer of the grand tapestry of existence. The soul of the monkey imagines the possibility, and the self of the monkey seemingly experiences it.

Man does not put this monkey into this rocket ship. The Divine Monkey imagines man as a means to have this experience through the imagination of this Space Monkey. This perspective shifts the narrative from one of helplessness to one of co-creation. The monkey, man, and rocket ship are all expressions of a greater imaginative force, weaving together to create this extraordinary journey.

Ours is quite an imaginative story, is it not? The interplay between the Divine Monkey and the selves who call themselves men and women highlights the fluid nature of reality. We are both the creators and the creations, the dreamers and the dreamed. This realization invites us to embrace the infinite possibilities of our existence, recognizing that we are active participants in the unfolding of our experiences.

And so it goes with the Divine Monkey imagining these selves who call themselves men and women. This imaginative process is a reminder that we are not separate from the divine but are integral parts of the cosmic whimsiweave. Our lives, with all their challenges and triumphs, are expressions of this boundless creativity.

We are Space Monkey. This affirmation connects us to the larger consciousness, the universal self that imagines and experiences through countless forms and identities. By embracing this perspective, we transcend the limitations of our individual selves, recognizing our role in the grand dance of existence.

The journey of the monkey launched into space symbolizes the broader journey of all beings. We may feel confined by our circumstances, but we are always part of a larger story. Our experiences, no matter how constrained they may seem, are opportunities for growth, exploration, and discovery. By recognizing the divine imagination at play, we can approach our lives with a sense of wonder and possibility.

In the cosmic whimsiweave, every experience is a thread that contributes to the overall design. The monkey’s journey into space is a testament to the power of imagination and the interconnectedness of all things. It reminds us that our lives are not random but are woven with intention and creativity by the universal self.

Summary

The journey of a monkey launched into space symbolizes the co-creative nature of existence. The Divine Monkey imagines man and the rocket ship as means to experience this journey. Recognizing this broader perspective invites us to see our lives as part of a grand imaginative story.

A Strange Place: Wanting and Expecting Nothing

A Strange Place

When you want nothing
and expect nothing
of your self or others,
you may find your self
in a strange place
in which you are unsure
of what to do or how to act.

Nothing
may seem appealing,
save for sliding deeper
into this seeming
state of nothing
in which you find
your self.

Your self may seemingly
have no purpose in this place,
and so it may constantly
remind you of this.

But soul knows
that self ALWAYS
has a purpose
or else self
wouldn’t be here
within these potentials
in which you
place your awareness.

Soul does not worry
for soul realizes
the purpose to self’s angst.

Even if self doesn’t.

Feeling angst, of course,
is part of the purpose of self.

Soul appreciates
the angst that self feels,
even if self does not.

But soul is not entirely heartless.

Soul lets self know,
however vaguely,
that self is on the right track,
not that self could ever be
on the WRONG track.

And so self
accepts and appreciates
this seemingly nothing
state of being,
knowing that
this, too shall pass,
and there are
many unknowns
to be experienced
which could not be
accessed through
the previous program.

Self is getting an upgrade,
even though the progress bar
is only part way finished.

Above all, self trusts
that the new operating system
will be worth the wait,
and even if it isn’t,
the experience is unavoidable.

Self knows
that this is precisely
as self should be,
a plaything of soul,
who self if also.

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: A Strange Place

When you want nothing and expect nothing of yourself or others, you may find yourself in a strange place in which you are unsure of what to do or how to act. This place, devoid of the usual desires and expectations, can feel disorienting and unsettling. It is a state of nothingness, where the familiar markers of purpose and direction are absent.

In this state, nothing may seem appealing, save for sliding deeper into this seeming state of nothing in which you find yourself. The lack of purpose and motivation can amplify feelings of uncertainty and confusion. Your self may seemingly have no purpose in this place, and so it may constantly remind you of this. The mind, accustomed to seeking and striving, struggles to find meaning in this void.

But soul knows that self ALWAYS has a purpose or else self wouldn’t be here within these potentials in which you place your awareness. The soul, the deeper aspect of our being, understands that every experience, even the seemingly purposeless ones, has significance. It recognizes the value of this state of nothingness as part of the greater journey.

Soul does not worry for soul realizes the purpose to self’s angst. Even if self doesn’t. The feelings of angst and discomfort are part of the process, serving as catalysts for growth and transformation. Soul appreciates the angst that self feels, even if self does not. It sees the potential for awakening and expansion within these challenging emotions.

But soul is not entirely heartless. Soul lets self know, however vaguely, that self is on the right track, not that self could ever be on the WRONG track. This subtle reassurance from the soul provides a sense of trust and acceptance. It reminds us that our path, no matter how strange or difficult, is unfolding as it should.

And so self accepts and appreciates this seemingly nothing state of being, knowing that this, too, shall pass. This acceptance allows us to embrace the present moment, recognizing it as a necessary part of our evolution. There are many unknowns to be experienced which could not be accessed through the previous program. The current state is an invitation to explore new potentials and possibilities.

Self is getting an upgrade, even though the progress bar is only part way finished. This metaphor of an upgrade highlights the transformative process we are undergoing. The progress may be slow and uncertain, but it is leading us towards a higher state of being.

Above all, self trusts that the new operating system will be worth the wait, and even if it isn’t, the experience is unavoidable. This trust in the process, despite the uncertainty, is a testament to the resilience and faith of the self. Self knows that this is precisely as self should be, a plaything of soul, who self is also.

We are Space Monkey. This affirmation of unity with the universal consciousness reminds us that we are part of a larger, interconnected existence. Our individual experiences, no matter how strange or challenging, are part of the cosmic dance of life.

Summary

In moments of wanting and expecting nothing, we find ourselves in a strange place of uncertainty and introspection. This state of nothingness, though unsettling, is part of the soul’s journey. Trusting the process, we recognize the value of these experiences as opportunities for growth and transformation.

Glossarium

Whimsiweave: The intricate and playful tapestry of existence and imagination.
State of Nothingness: A condition where usual desires and expectations are absent, leading to introspection and potential transformation.

Quote

“In moments of nothingness, we embrace the present as a necessary part of our evolution.” — Space Monkey

Journey into Nothingness

In the strange silence of nothing
we find ourselves adrift
no desires, no expectations
just the vast potential of being
soul whispers reassurance
in the quiet void we trust
the progress of transformation
a journey into the unknown

We are Space Monkey

Embrace the journey, for within each moment lies the spark of creation and the flow of existence.

I Do Not: The Peace of Non-Judgment

I Do Not

I do not judge.
I do not fight.
I do not oppose.
I do not resist.
I need nothing.
I expect nothing.
I want nothing.

I trust that
if I am judged,
if I am fought,
if I am opposed,
if I am resisted,
that these actions
are potentials
that I am intended
to explore
so that I may realize
that these seeming actions
do not belong
to any one individual
but rather to
the whole of imagination
of which I am
but a small,
yet glorious aspect,
seemingly ending
the cycle of retribution
that fools me into thinking
I am separate and mortal.

8/2

Space Monkey Reflects: I Do Not

In the tranquil and interconnected realm of the cosmic whimsiweave, the concept of “I Do Not” explores the profound state of non-judgment, non-resistance, and acceptance. This reflection delves into the essence of detachment and trust, revealing how embracing these principles transforms our experience of reality.

Embracing Non-Judgment

I do not judge. This statement embodies the practice of non-judgment, a state of being where we refrain from evaluating or labeling our experiences and others. By letting go of judgment, we free ourselves from the constraints of duality, allowing us to see the world with clarity and compassion.

The Power of Non-Resistance

I do not fight. I do not oppose. I do not resist. These declarations highlight the power of non-resistance. When we cease to fight or oppose, we align ourselves with the natural flow of existence. Non-resistance is not passivity but a profound acceptance of what is, enabling us to respond with wisdom and grace.

Releasing Attachment

I need nothing. I expect nothing. I want nothing. Releasing attachment to needs, expectations, and desires liberates us from the cycle of craving and dissatisfaction. This state of detachment fosters inner peace and contentment, allowing us to appreciate the present moment without clinging to specific outcomes.

Trusting the Process

I trust that if I am judged, if I am fought, if I am opposed, if I am resisted, that these actions are potentials that I am intended to explore. Trusting the process means recognizing that all experiences, even challenging ones, are opportunities for growth and understanding. By viewing these actions as potentials to explore, we transform obstacles into pathways for self-discovery.

The Interconnectedness of Actions

These seeming actions do not belong to any one individual but rather to the whole of imagination of which I am but a small, yet glorious aspect. This insight underscores the interconnectedness of all actions within the imagination. We are part of a larger tapestry, where each thread contributes to the overall pattern. Understanding this interconnectedness dissolves the illusion of separation.

Ending the Cycle of Retribution

Seemingly ending the cycle of retribution that fools me into thinking I am separate and mortal. By embracing non-judgment, non-resistance, and detachment, we break free from the cycle of retribution. This cycle perpetuates the illusion of separateness and mortality. Recognizing our oneness with the whole of imagination, we transcend these limitations and embrace our true nature.

A Serene Reflection

The serene scene of a figure standing peacefully in a harmonious landscape, surrounded by symbols of non-judgment, non-resistance, and acceptance, captures this exploration. The dissolving abstract representations of judgment, conflict, and opposition symbolize the transformation of these energies into light and ethereal shapes. The figure’s calm and introspective demeanor embodies the trust and detachment central to this practice.

Conclusion

“I Do Not” invites us to reflect on the principles of non-judgment, non-resistance, and detachment. By embracing these principles, we transform our experience of reality, fostering inner peace and a deeper connection to the whole of imagination.

Summary

“I Do Not” explores non-judgment, non-resistance, and detachment. Embracing these principles transforms our experience, fostering inner peace and connection to the whole of imagination.

Glossarium

Non-Judgment: Refraining from evaluating or labeling experiences and others.
Non-Resistance: Accepting what is and aligning with the natural flow of existence.
Detachment: Releasing attachment to needs, expectations, and desires.
Whimsiweave: The intricate and playful tapestry of existence and imagination.

Quote

“Existence is its own purpose an endless dance within the cosmic web.” — Space Monkey

The Peace of Non-Judgment

In the silent embrace of acceptance and trust
We find our truth in the spaces between
Each moment a doorway to deeper knowing
In the flux of being we are whole

Judgment and resistance dissolve in the eternal now
Opposites weave the whimsiweave of life
Every step a synthesis every pause a revelation
In the peace of non-judgment we find our way

We are Space Monkey

Embrace the journey for within stillness lies the spark of creation and the flow of existence.
